About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals. I’m 18 years old and have just completed my A-levels and am available for pet sitting over the next year before I go to university. I’ve grown up in a home full of dogs, cats and other pets. Over the years, my family has regularly looked after pets for friends, neighbours and relatives, giving me experience with a wide range of animals and personalities. From a young age, I was trusted to take shared responsibility for the dogs staying with us, including feeding, walking, exercising, playing with them and making sure they felt safe and settled while their owners were away. I have experience caring for everything from energetic puppies and kittens to gentle senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I’m comfortable looking after breeds of all sizes, from Dachshunds to Basset Hounds and Golden Retrievers. I also have experience caring for guinea pigs, hamsters and fish, so I’m happy to look after smaller pets too if they are part of your family. I enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual and making sure they feel relaxed, happy and well cared for. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a much-loved family member, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same kindness, patience and attention that I would my own. Having just completed my A-levels, I have plenty of availability to provide reliable pet care before I go to university next year. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m happy to work with owners to find times that suit their routine, whether that’s regular visits, occasional check-ins, weekends or holidays. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs while fitting around any other commitments I may have. I understand that pets are happiest when they can stay in their own familiar environment and keep to their usual routine. When caring for your pet in your home, I'll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (where appropriate), and any other routines that help your pet feel safe and comfortable. I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect, ensuring everything is left clean, tidy and secure. I'll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, companionship and care during every visit, and I'm happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing they're happy and well looked after while you're away.

About: I have been walking dogs for neighbours and friends for 10 years. My family also fosters dogs, so I have a wide range of experience with different ages and breads. While I am at uni I would love to help with dog walking in the local area and to be able to enjoy animals while away from home. I have a flexible schedule and can help most days and most times to fit around your own schedule. Any questions please ask! I am available almost everyday except for wednesday afternoons as I am currently in the uni exam period. I am happy to work around any commitments i may have to provide flexible dog walking when needed. I do not offer dog sitting as I am in student accommodation that doesn’t allow it. For dog walking I will keep dogs on leads wherever possible to avoid potential conflict, unless dogs are very well trained and I know they will come back when I call or on command. I keep emergency treats on hand as well and will not hesitate to call should anything arise that I can’t handle alone.

About: Hi, I’m Nitya, I really love spending time with dogs and have experience in taking care of them. My partner and I recently got an English Springer Spaniel called Fig. She's high energy and loves to go out in nature and can't get enough love and hugs. She normally sleeps for most of the day once she's had a good walk. She's a workint dog, so we feel confident taking care of working dogs. I've also dogsat my sister's dog Sparkles (she's a greyhound) loads and I absolutely love her. I've also dogsat my partner's family dog Rusty, who is a Yorkshire Terrier that is filled with loads of love and energy. I'm happy to look for a lovely dog that I can take for walks and have at home as well. I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime and can be available on weekends with notice. I mainly work from home so happy to take care of a dog in need of some weekday love! My weekends are normally relaxed as well and with advance notice, I can ensure I'm at home to take care of your loved one. I do have a dog myself, her name is Fig and she's and English Springer Spaniel. She is friendly, but your dog will need to be okay with that. We live in a house with a garden. We always have the dogs with us in one of our rooms. We have access to a garden for easy toileting. We also live close to the Polecat copse and happy to take your dog on a walk if needed.

I'm currently on Maternity leave so have lots of time on my hands as my husband works from home. About: Growing up with two amazing Rhodesian ridgebacks, as well as labradors and cocker spaniels, has shaped me into a HUGE dog lover who is utterly obsessed with dogs. I’m currently working as a teacher doing 9-5 hours in the week so only have availability on weekends. During weekends I can be extremely flexible with visits/walks. I do not have an outdoor space at my home however I live right next to the Devils Punchbowl so can give your dog long walks and a good run around at the Common!

About: I have owned dogs for the past ten years and cared for animals more generally since I was eight years old. As I work from home full-time I tend to have flexible availability and am able to cater to the needs of dogs that need a bit more attention, love and care. I am experienced with both puppies and senior dogs (my dog is a senior gal herself!) and love to spend time with the dogs outside— whether that be playing or relaxing in the fully-fenced garden or going on lovely walks in the Surrey Hills! I am very experienced with larger dogs but love hanging out with smaller doggos too! I work from home full-time so will have plenty of time to love on your pups! I take the dogs on walks 2-3 times a day (depending on your dog’s preferences). I have a fully fenced yard for your dogs to play in and my own 9 year old female Bernese Mountain Dog, Gwen, will be very happy to keep your dog company! She’s a very friendly and gentle girl who has been around puppies, elderly dogs, and baby and elderly humans tons too!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I also currently have a dog and she is almost 3. I’ve also house sat for friends who have dogs in the past. Inevitably, being on Rover, I’m mad about dogs, so looking after them doesn’t feel like work for me. I’m a university student who is home for the summer so I’ve got plenty of time on my hands to properly care for and look after dogs. I have a fenced garden and one small, friendly dog to keep yours company. The front porch also has a gate so the dogs can’t run off. There’s also plenty of places near me to safely walk the dog off the lead so they can have a proper run around and exert some energy!

About: I have looked after friends cats and dogs. I have had puppies to stay more recently so know what is involved in looking after them and their needs. I have taken them for walks in a secure field during our first walk to ensure they're comfortable with me. We have two friendly dogs and a cat. Our cat typically sleeps upstairs during the day, we have a stair gate so dogs can not go upstairs. I currently work from home Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, so can walk dogs those day or have weekend/weeknight boarders. I have Monday and Thursdays off in the school holidays. We have a secure garden and two dogs to keep your dog company. I can crate your dog if necessary at night or to have a nap. I can feed your dog away from my dogs to make sure they eat their food without being distracted.

I will give your pet all the love and care it needs while you are away. I can usually be very flexible to fit around your needs for walking, drop in visits or sitting.
