About: Hello! I’m a passionate dog lover who understands just how much our pets mean to us. Last year I sadly lost my beloved Cane Corso, who was a huge part of our family. While I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog permanently just yet, I would love the opportunity to care for and spend time with other dogs until the time feels right to rescue again. I have experience caring for large breeds as well as dogs with different personalities and needs. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will treat them as if they were their own, and that’s exactly the level of care and attention I provide. I live in a loving family home with my 2-year-old son, who has grown up around dogs and is extremely dog-savvy, gentle, and respectful of animals. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I do ask that any dogs staying with us have had some previous positive interaction with children and are comfortable being around them. We enjoy long dog walks in the woods on a weekend together. I am happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that involves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, medication, or simply lots of companionship. I understand that every dog is different and will always take the time to learn about their individual needs and preferences. For the health and wellbeing of all pets in my care, I only accept vaccinated dogs. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout your dog’s stay so you can relax knowing they are safe, happy, and well looked after. I am a stay-at-home mum, which means I am home for the majority of the day and can provide plenty of company, supervision, and attention to the dogs in my care. Most of our days are spent at home or in the garden, giving dogs lots of opportunities to play, relax, and be part of family life. My son and I attend a class on Monday mornings and another on Saturday mornings, but we are rarely away from home for more than an hour at a time. Outside of that, we spend most of our time at home. If we do pop out for a coffee, walk, or family outing, I am happy to bring dogs along where appropriate and if they enjoy being out and about. This means your dog will receive lots of companionship throughout the day and will never be left alone for extended periods. I provide a safe, loving family environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. Our home has a secure enclosed garden, and dogs will have access to plenty of supervised playtime, exercise, rest, and affection throughout the day. Following the loss of my beloved dog, I have chosen to open my home to other dogs while I take time before rescuing again. For this reason, I ask that dogs staying with us have had some previous positive experience with children and are comfortable in a family home environment. About: Always had dogs in the family and have 2 of my own. Comfortable home away from home experience for dogs of all ages. Surrounded by beautiful countryside to enjoy. I work from home full time, my meetings are in a bedroom so dogs will always have company. Only have a couple of meetings a day on teams, so aLeah’s around and available for walks, toilet breaks & cuddles. I have a fully fenced back garden which is secure. Lots of beds and/or comfortable sofas to sleep on, and miles of local countryside walks to enjoy on the common.

About: My lovely cat Boo Boo lived until she was 20 and was the centre of my world. She was a nervous rescue who came to me as a kitten . As she got older she had several health conditions which I learnt to manage. I now have a dog and so no cats but am looking to get my cat fix !

She also was kind enough to check in on our hamsters, who joined the family very shortly during our break away. I couldn’t recommend Beatrice more! She was reliable, communicative and very flexible. She treated our fur babies as if they were her own which was demonstrated in all the lovely photos she took of them whilst sending us daily updates. About: I have been an experienced volunteer dog walker with The Cinnamon Trust for nearly 15 years and during that time have had long-term commitments with five local dogs and their owners, walking most weekends and some evenings. I also regularly dog-sit for my family and friends with a variety of different breeds and ages, including puppies. I also currently have two rescue cats and have experience in administering medication and grooming long hair. Over the years I have had many cats, including kittens and the most I have looked after at one time is three. I regularly look after our neighbour's house while they are away. I am also a homeowner so would take the responsibility of looking after someone else's home very seriously, including jobs that need doing like watering plants, taking out the bins and tidying up after myself. I don't have any children so have limited regular weekend commitments and can be flexible during the week as I work from home a few days a week. I have my own car. I would want your pet(s) to feel as happy and comfortable as possible while I'm with them so would only accept a booking if I could ensure that I can keep to their routine and carry out the owner's wishes fully. I cannot have pets at my home as my two cats would not take kindly to any visitors but am happy to stay over in a pet owner's home, carry out drop-ins and do as many dog walks as needed in terms of frequency and length - I know the local area very well and really enjoy getting out in nature with a four-legged friend!

About: We have a 1.5 year old dog who would love some doggy company, he is a well trained and very friendly cocker spaniel called Gus Between myself and Jack there is always someone at home as we both have flexible working arrangements. We take Gus out for two walks a day and have a garden too, so having another dog would slot in well to our routine. We have a fenced garden which is perfect for outside playing - it is secure with part patio, part grass. Indoors we have a stair gate to block off the upstairs but are happy for the dogs to be anywhere in the house with us - wherever they are comfortable!

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was born and currently have 3 Vizslas and am a KC approved breeder too, so am more than comfortable with puppies too. I have a few small businesses that I run from home & home educate my teenage son so I have time to fit in pet care with my routine I'm more than happy to pop in and feed /play etc with your pet while you're away or out, take it for a walk if necessary (depending on the type of pet!). About: I've worked professionally with animals (competition horses) since my teens & always had big dogs myself from German shepherds to mountain dogs. I'm calm & professional & the space has a lovely garden. I don't have my own pets currently or any children so your pet really will get undivided attention. I teach yoga 2 evenings a week locally meaning the dog/dogs would need to be ok left for 1.5hours. With my own dogs I've always taken them everywhere with me & have a dog-friendly friendship group so I am happy taking your pup for social walks & pub visits too (when appropriate for the dog). I have a fenced garden. I let the dogs in all the rooms so they can be with my while I work. I tend not to let them on furniture but if it is something they are used to, I can put some dog towels on the sofa for them to settle.

I’m 18 years old and have just completed my A-levels and am available for pet sitting over the next year before I go to university. I’ve grown up in a home full of dogs, cats and other pets. About: Hi, I’m Nitya, I really love spending time with dogs and have experience in taking care of them. My partner and I recently got an English Springer Spaniel called Fig. She's high energy and loves to go out in nature and can't get enough love and hugs. She normally sleeps for most of the day once she's had a good walk. She's a workint dog, so we feel confident taking care of working dogs. I've also dogsat my sister's dog Sparkles (she's a greyhound) loads and I absolutely love her. I've also dogsat my partner's family dog Rusty, who is a Yorkshire Terrier that is filled with loads of love and energy. I am happy to work around any commitments i may have to provide flexible dog walking when needed. I do not offer dog sitting as I am in student accommodation that doesn’t allow it. For dog walking I will keep dogs on leads wherever possible to avoid potential conflict, unless dogs are very well trained and I know they will come back when I call or on command. I keep emergency treats on hand as well and will not hesitate to call should anything arise that I can’t handle alone.

About: I have owned dogs for the past ten years and cared for animals more generally since I was eight years old. As I work from home full-time I tend to have flexible availability and am able to cater to the needs of dogs that need a bit more attention, love and care. I am experienced with both puppies and senior dogs (my dog is a senior gal herself!) and love to spend time with the dogs outside— whether that be playing or relaxing in the fully-fenced garden or going on lovely walks in the Surrey Hills! I am very experienced with larger dogs but love hanging out with smaller doggos too! I work from home full-time so will have plenty of time to love on your pups! I take the dogs on walks 2-3 times a day (depending on your dog’s preferences). I have a fully fenced yard for your dogs to play in and my own 9 year old female Bernese Mountain Dog, Gwen, will be very happy to keep your dog company! About: Growing up with two amazing Rhodesian ridgebacks, as well as labradors and cocker spaniels, has shaped me into a HUGE dog lover who is utterly obsessed with dogs. I’m currently working as a teacher doing 9-5 hours in the week so only have availability on weekends. During weekends I can be extremely flexible with visits/walks. I do not have an outdoor space at my home however I live right next to the Devils Punchbowl so can give your dog long walks and a good run around at the Common!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I also currently have a dog and she is almost 3. I’ve also house sat for friends who have dogs in the past. Inevitably, being on Rover, I’m mad about dogs, so looking after them doesn’t feel like work for me. I’m a university student who is home for the summer so I’ve got plenty of time on my hands to properly care for and look after dogs. I have a fenced garden and one small, friendly dog to keep yours company. The front porch also has a gate so the dogs can’t run off. About: We are a family of four with a 4-year-old daughter and a friendly French Bulldog who loves making new doggy friends. Our home is full of love, play, and plenty of attention for visiting dogs. “Charlotte is an absolute star. She looked after our two lovely Irish Setters for a week whilst we were on holiday. The location of her house is a dream with walks right out of her front door - and given how tired our doggies were when they got home they definitely had plenty of exercise. Charlotte was also fab at giving us regular updates so we knew they were doing well. The set up is great - a real home from home for the dogs and so they got to keep their usual routine and had plenty of cuddles (and a few attempts at sneaking up the stairs...).
