About: Thank you for checking out my profile! I'm Clare, a caring, reliable and very experienced pet owner (and lover of animals of all shapes and sizes), and I'd love to help with looking after your furry or feathered friends while you're away. I've had animals my whole life and love giving them the best car, including plenty of cuddles. I've always had dogs as pets, but also cared for different types of dogs including foster dogs with a range of temperaments and issues, reactive dogs and working dogs. This has included training puppies. I also grew up with cats and have had a number of other pets that have been a big part of the family, including chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbits (both house and outdoor buns), guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, tropical fish, budgies, and even mice once upon a time - an underrated pet! I completely understand how it feels to leave your pet in the care of a stranger, and will work with you to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible, with frequent updates and check ins as often as you'd like. I am currently on maternity leave and as well as my baby, have an almost 3 year old who is extremely gentle with (and enamoured by!) animals, and a very capable assistant putter-down of food bowls and provider of treats. I'm currently on maternity leave, so have plenty of time to play and snuggle with your pets! I drop my eldest at nursery at 8am and then my parents can look after the baby while I pop in at any time of day. I can feed, walk, top up water, do a little grooming - whatever your furry friend needs! We can chat about what you'd like me to do with your pet aand I'm more than happy to accommodate their needs, whether that be for playtime, meals, a leg stretch, or just some cuddles. I can easily crate pets if needed or let them out for some fresh air while keeping a close eye on them. With dog walking, I have experience of dogs that are strong on the lead and those that are reactive. I'll always give lots of updates on how your pet is doing, and send plenty of pics as I'm sure you'll be missing them!
“Loved using Rabecca and her partner to mind our dog Murphy for a long weekend. They were super relaxed and flexible and we had loads of updates from them throughout his stay :) will definitely book them again.”

About: I am highly attentive and can fit in with your dogs preferences. I work from home, have a secure garden and enjoy lovely walks from my doorstep. My husband and I have had Toby since a puppy who is now 2 years old. 🐾 I am available over the weekends and during the week. I enjoy heading out for a dog walk from my doorstep throughout the day and offering playtime. I have cared for dogs of all ages including puppies and older dogs. My home is calm, safe and dog proof with a secure garden for toilet breaks.
“You’re simply the best. Missy Nova has found a best friend in Pickle and had such a joyful time with you. Looking forward to the future play dates together! Thank you for hosting her in such a loving home.”

About: Dogs have always been part of my life. I grew up on a small farm surrounded by horses, sheep, chickens, cats and dogs, and I’ve had my own dogs since I was four. I currently have a gentle 14-year-old dachshund x Jack Russell, so I’m experienced with senior dogs, puppies and administering medication. I work from home most of the week, which means I can stick closely to your dog’s usual routine and will happily follow care instructions carefully. We have a peaceful home, a very large garden and wonderful countryside walks right on the doorstep. My eight-year-old son is kind, calm and has grown up around animals, and our older dog is very good with other dogs. Up at 6ish - feed the animals and toilet breaks in the garden 11am - morning walk 1ish - lunch & telly cuddles 2ish - afternoon run/walk for more active dogs 4/5pm dinner and garden breaks 8/9pm bedtime I have one small dachshund x Jack Russell Jeffrey who is great with other dogs, and two cats who are out most of the time. I have a stair gate so dogs have free rein downstairs. My own dog and the cat who knows how to sleep beyond 6am (!) sleeps in my large bedroom on beds and blankets. Guest dogs are welcome to join us or can relax downstairs in the big kitchen by the Aga. We have lovely walks through the woods direct from the house and I run so my own dog enjoys a 30min stroll but I can take dogs out on a lead to run for up to an hour or more depending on their needs. I have a small upper garden which is fully enclosed/high fences. And an acre of lower garden which is fenced but I keep new dogs on a lead until we’ve established recall. I’ve used dog sitters for years so I know what owners look for - consistent, safe, reliable and genuine care. Ideally a home away from home so your dog can enjoy his/her weekend away as much as you do!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always had them in my family home. Caring for them has been a big part of my life, and I’ve always loved taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure they’re happy and well looked after. Since moving out, I’ve regularly looked after my family’s two Shih-Poos, either by house sitting or having them to stay in our home. My partner and I also frequently care for their family’s dogs, including a senior Spaniel and a Spaniel puppy, so we’re experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and needs. We have our own dog, who we’ve had since she was a puppy, so we’ve spent a lot of time training and socialising her. We recently moved to a home with a larger garden and beautiful nearby walking routes, as spending time outdoors with our dog is one of our favourite things to do. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and given plenty of love, attention, and exercise while they’re with us. I work full-time, Monday to Friday, and work from home every day. My partner also works from home with me at least three days a week, so there’s always someone at home for the majority of the day. At weekends, we enjoy getting out and about, but we typically choose dog-friendly activities so our dog can come along with us. We always walk our dog at least 1-2 times per day, depending on the weather and schedules. We have a fully fenced, secure garden where they can play safely, as well as our dog to keep them company if they enjoy being around other dogs. We’re happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine and can provide space for a crate if that’s what they’re most comfortable with. If we need to leave the house for a short period, the dogs stay in our spacious kitchen/dining area. We also have a Ring camera so we can keep an eye on them while we’re away. If your dog prefers their own space, we’re able to keep our dog in a separate area of the house.
“Could not recommend Charlotte enough. My puppy was so happy from the moment I dropped her off to the moment I picked her up. Charlotte gave good communication through as updated me on how my baby was doing with plenty or pictures. She also noticed that Ellie started looking for more food after meals and as she thought she was having a growth asked if she could increase her food intake. This really made me feel like I’d left my girl with the correct person. I’d highly recommend and will definitely be sending Ellie again when needed. Thank you.”

“So happy with the service Emma provided. From meeting before to her time sitting for our cats was great. Lots of updates and pictures during her visits and managing to get our very timid cats to approach her made us feel very reassured about leaving them in Emma's care. Definitely will book again.”

“Beatrice took wonderful care of our cats Pedro and Pumpkin during our time away recently! She also was kind enough to check in on our hamsters, who joined the family very shortly during our break away. I couldn’t recommend Beatrice more! She was reliable, communicative and very flexible. She treated our fur babies as if they were her own which was demonstrated in all the lovely photos she took of them whilst sending us daily updates. She also went above and beyond in taking the bins out and hoovering the floors prior to leaving. Thank you so much Bea, it was great to know that they were in such good hands. We look forward to you caring for them again next week! :)”

“Louisa was fantastic with clear messaging and photos of contented cat, helped me to relax while away. Then I came home to a happy, well fed and groomed and well loved cat. Thank you Louisa.”

About: I have a weekly volunteering shift at a local cat rehoming charity to get a regular cat fix! My lovely cat Boo Boo lived until she was 20 and was the centre of my world. She was a nervous rescue who came to me as a kitten . As she got older she had several health conditions which I learnt to manage.

“Sarah has been fantastic from start to finish. She came round to meet us, Georgie the cat and see the house. Easy communication before, during and after the house sit. Sarah kindly sent us photos and updates on Georgie, whilst dealing with a challenging heatwave! Georgie is looking forward to spending Christmas with Sarah. 🐾”

About: I had a Maine Coon for about 4 years, so I’m familiar with the breed’s needs — regular grooming, plenty of interaction, and their more dog-like, social temperament. I’m attentive to routine, feeding times, litter habits, and comfortable adapting to each cat’s personality

About: I’ve grown up in a home with cats. I have experience caring for both playful kittens and older cats who need a gentler, calmer approach. I’m confident with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, grooming where appropriate, playing with cats and, most importantly, allowing them to interact at their own pace. I understand that every cat has a different personality, some love attention, while others simply appreciate a calm, reassuring presence. I’m patient, observant and always take the time to make sure cats feel safe, relaxed and comfortable in their own home. I know how important it is to keep their routines consistent while their owners are away, and I’ll always care for your cat with the same kindness, respect and attention that I would my own.
About: I have been walking dogs for neighbours and friends for 10 years. My family also fosters dogs, so I have a wide range of experience with different ages and breads. While I am at uni I would love to help with dog walking in the local area and to be able to enjoy animals while away from home. I have a flexible schedule and can help most days and most times to fit around your own schedule. Any questions please ask! I am available almost everyday except for wednesday afternoons as I am currently in the uni exam period. I am happy to work around any commitments i may have to provide flexible dog walking when needed. I do not offer dog sitting as I am in student accommodation that doesn’t allow it. For dog walking I will keep dogs on leads wherever possible to avoid potential conflict, unless dogs are very well trained and I know they will come back when I call or on command. I keep emergency treats on hand as well and will not hesitate to call should anything arise that I can’t handle alone.

About: I grew up around cats and have two of my own cats now, have had experience doing work experience at various veterinary clinics and studied animal care for a couple of years. At one of the vet clinics they specialised in working with cats protection and that’s where I spent the majority of my time. While studying animal care I had done essays and studied on how to properly care for pets and additionally veterinary nursing. I am very passionate about caring for cats, I also took in a stray cat a couple of years ago that was severely neglected and fostered them until they found a suitable home Other experience I’d like to add is when my neighbour went into hospital for 3 months last year, I was trusted to take in their cat for this entire time.

“Ebony was a great help across a two week period. All according to plan - no fuss. Dog looked after and very happy. Thank you Ebony for being very reliable and taking good care of Lottie, our Staffie.”

“Rikki was very friendly and easy to deal with, was keen to know everything she needed to be able to look after my mother’s two cats, and proved reliable and a safe pair of hands, and very affectionate with the cats. Will definitely be using her again! ”

“Yuxi was wonderful with my cat Prince, she took such attentive care of him and kept me updated day-to-day with lots of photos. She even watered my greenhouse plants which was very helpful. I’m very grateful to have found Yuxi, and highly recommend her! Thank you from us, Yuxi! 💕👩🏻🦱🐈”

About: I've had cats since I was about 6 years old! Sadly didn't have a cat as a young adult as I travelled a lot but have now been lucky enough to get cats back in my life. My household includes 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 pet rats, fish and hens and I am also a KC approved dog breeder so I have puppies occasionally too!

About: I have a strong background working with animals, including roles as a veterinary assistant, kennel assistant, and animal technician, as well as experience in a zoo environment. I hold a degree in Zoology and an Associate of Science in Agriculture. I’m confident caring for cats with different temperaments, from shy and independent to more social and playful. I take a calm and patient approach, making sure each cat feels safe, comfortable, and well looked after in their own environment. I’m experienced with feeding routines, litter care, administering basic care, and giving cats the right balance of attention and space.

About: Hello! I’m a passionate dog lover who understands just how much our pets mean to us. Last year I sadly lost my beloved Cane Corso, who was a huge part of our family. While I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog permanently just yet, I would love the opportunity to care for and spend time with other dogs until the time feels right to rescue again. I have experience caring for large breeds as well as dogs with different personalities and needs. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will treat them as if they were their own, and that’s exactly the level of care and attention I provide. I live in a loving family home with my 2-year-old son, who has grown up around dogs and is extremely dog-savvy, gentle, and respectful of animals. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I do ask that any dogs staying with us have had some previous positive interaction with children and are comfortable being around them. We enjoy long dog walks in the woods on a weekend together. I am happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that involves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, medication, or simply lots of companionship. I understand that every dog is different and will always take the time to learn about their individual needs and preferences. For the health and wellbeing of all pets in my care, I only accept vaccinated dogs. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout your dog’s stay so you can relax knowing they are safe, happy, and well looked after. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am a stay-at-home mum, which means I am home for the majority of the day and can provide plenty of company, supervision, and attention to the dogs in my care. Most of our days are spent at home or in the garden, giving dogs lots of opportunities to play, relax, and be part of family life. My son and I attend a class on Monday mornings and another on Saturday mornings, but we are rarely away from home for more than an hour at a time. Outside of that, we spend most of our time at home. If we do pop out for a coffee, walk, or family outing, I am happy to bring dogs along where appropriate and if they enjoy being out and about. This means your dog will receive lots of companionship throughout the day and will never be left alone for extended periods. I provide a safe, loving family environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. Our home has a secure enclosed garden, and dogs will have access to plenty of supervised playtime, exercise, rest, and affection throughout the day. Having previously owned a Cane Corso, I am experienced with large breeds and understand the importance of routine, consistency, and positive handling. Following the loss of my beloved dog, I have chosen to open my home to other dogs while I take time before rescuing again. I have a gentle and dog-savvy 2-year-old son who has grown up around dogs and understands how to interact with them respectfully. For this reason, I ask that dogs staying with us have had some previous positive experience with children and are comfortable in a family home environment. I only accept vaccinated dogs and will always follow owners’ instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, sleeping arrangements, and any special requirements. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while your dog is in my care.

“I left Meggy with Rosanna for 6 hours' day care on 2.2.24 at short notice. She was very accommodating and I felt Megs settled in almost immediately. She had an hour's walk at lunch down towards the park/woodland and playtime during the day. A quiet, calm household with a small rear garden all of which suited our Jack Russell well at that time. Without hesitation, I would certainly use Rosanna again.”

“Lilly was wonderful with Max and he has clearly had a super fun day (he was snoring in the car on the way home 😂) Excellent communication throughout the day - thank you for taking such great care of our puppy”

We picked up a very happy pup afterwards! Highly recommended and we will definitely be booking Nitya and her partner again! Thank you!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I had a long break without having a dog and now I have a Labrador puppy called Spud, still I have a surplus of dog care to give away. I’ve a few years experience sitting and walking for an adorable, characterful parsons terrier who has been keeping me on my toes. I currently work from home at least twice a week normally on Mondays and Fridays but can be flexible. I am also free on weekends. I live close to multiple parks, including Sevenoaks Vine and Hollybush park which are great and safe for play time. For longer walks I also have Knole park round the corner.
“Ellie was brilliant with our Jack Russell and they clearly got on really well - at the end of the day he was really reluctant to leave and kept looking back over his shoulder for her! She kept us up to date with how the day was going and sent pictures. We'd be happy to book with her again! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Emma was brilliant! She took such care looking after Dillan for the first time and making sure he felt settled and comfortable. Lots of lovely photo updates and Dillan had a fab time. Thanks so much!”

About: Hi, I'm an experienced dog owner with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Growing up on a farm surrounded by both working dogs and family pets gave me a deep understanding of dogs with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. As an adult, I've raised four dogs from playful puppies through to their senior years, so I'm comfortable with every stage of a dog's life. I'm also a paramedic, so being calm, responsible, and dependable comes naturally to me. Your dog's safety, wellbeing, and happiness will always be my priority. Although my work schedule means owning a dog full-time isn't practical right now, I'd love to spend my days off caring for yours. I offer good availability around my shifts and will always ensure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I live in a bungalow in Elstead with a large, fully fenced garden, giving dogs plenty of safe outdoor space to play, explore, and relax. Where I am situated offers lots of great walking trails! Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply a cosy place to curl up, I'll treat them as if they were one of my own. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged family member! I am a paramedic on a shift work pattern so will update my calendar accordingly for booking. Due to the nature of shift work when I am off, I am off for usually four days and would love to spend some more time caring for animals. I usually have my mums dog on my rest days to provide daycare whilst she is at work. I have a fenced garden and great access to beautiful walks in Elstead. I live 2 minute walk away from a recreational ground and often take my family dog there for training and sniffs after walks.
About: I have owned dogs for the past ten years and cared for animals more generally since I was eight years old. As I work from home full-time I tend to have flexible availability and am able to cater to the needs of dogs that need a bit more attention, love and care. I am experienced with both puppies and senior dogs (my dog is a senior gal herself!) and love to spend time with the dogs outside— whether that be playing or relaxing in the fully-fenced garden or going on lovely walks in the Surrey Hills! I am very experienced with larger dogs but love hanging out with smaller doggos too! I work from home full-time so will have plenty of time to love on your pups! “Thanks Kate walking Freya in the pouring rain today! I continue to be impressed by her commitment and professionalism. Freya has clearly taken to her. I look forward to asking Kate to care for Freya again”

About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals. I’m 18 years old and have just completed my A-levels and am available for pet sitting over the next year before I go to university. I’ve grown up in a home full of dogs, cats and other pets. Over the years, my family has regularly looked after pets for friends, neighbours and relatives, giving me experience with a wide range of animals and personalities. From a young age, I was trusted to take shared responsibility for the dogs staying with us, including feeding, walking, exercising, playing with them and making sure they felt safe and settled while their owners were away. I have experience caring for everything from energetic puppies and kittens to gentle senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I’m comfortable looking after breeds of all sizes, from Dachshunds to Basset Hounds and Golden Retrievers. I also have experience caring for guinea pigs, hamsters and fish, so I’m happy to look after smaller pets too if they are part of your family. I enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual and making sure they feel relaxed, happy and well cared for. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a much-loved family member, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same kindness, patience and attention that I would my own. Having just completed my A-levels, I have plenty of availability to provide reliable pet care before I go to university next year. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m happy to work with owners to find times that suit their routine, whether that’s regular visits, occasional check-ins, weekends or holidays. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs while fitting around any other commitments I may have. I understand that pets are happiest when they can stay in their own familiar environment and keep to their usual routine. When caring for your pet in your home, I'll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (where appropriate), and any other routines that help your pet feel safe and comfortable. I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect, ensuring everything is left clean, tidy and secure. I'll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, companionship and care during every visit, and I'm happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing they're happy and well looked after while you're away.

“Holly (and Marcus) came along for a meet and greet and a walk with our two Labradors. From the minute they arrived I knew we had made an excellent choice for our upcoming trip away. Holly is an extremely friendly and warm person and we feel very confident that our two girls will be well loved and cared for while we are away next month. Holly asked lots of questions about their usual routine and by the time she and Marcus left both dogs were very relaxed and happy in their company. It is such a comfort to have found someone so lovely to look after our girls while we are away.”

About: All dogs welcome ✅ Playtime in an en-closed garden ✅ Lots of walks on and off lead ✅ I have always had dogs as has my partner and we recently got our own lovely cocker spaniel Ozzy who we love taking on walks locally and in surrounding areas. Myself and my partner work from home full time so are always available for play time and lots of walks. We usually take our own dog, Ozzy, out at least twice a day to ensure he has enough play time. Our dog Ozzy is crate trained so we are used to having crate trained dog. We also have had non crate trained dogs in the house stay over which also works very well. Our garden is completely enclosed with no back gate meaning your pet will be very safe in our house.

Thank you.”

“This was Lola’s first time away from me i wasn’t sure how she was gonna act because she’s already an anxious dog but Barbara reassured me everything was gonna be okay, would definitely use Barbara again”

“Anna and Izzi have been absolutely wonderful with Rosie. They took such kind and attentive care of her, and it’s clear how much they genuinely enjoy having her around. I loved seeing how they took her to different places and gave her little adventures, it really means a lot. They never left her alone and kept me reassured throughout, which made a huge difference. I felt completely at ease and was able to relax while travelling, knowing Rosie was in such safe and caring hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, and I’d be very happy for Rosie to stay with them again.”

“When I need to find care for my dog, Hebron is my first choice! Hebron has looked after Ore on many occassions, and always provides a happy experience. Hebron is incredibly attentive, reliable, and genuinely cared for my dog. My dog was given her medication, and her particular needs (separation anxiety and reactivity) were listened and attended to. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind during my time away. My dog came back happy and healthy, and I could tell they had a great time. I can't express my gratitude enough for the outstanding service that Hebron has provided. Her professionalism, dedication, and genuine love for dogs set them apart as an exceptional dog sitter. If you're looking for excellent care for your furry friend, you've come to the right place. Thank you, Hebron, for your exceptional service and for treating my dog like a member of your own family!”

“Jess & Nolan were perfect for our little boy. In fact I think he wants to return very soon as life with them is possibly better than home. Jess kept me informed just the right amount without bombarding. He ate well and slept very well. Thank you.”
