“Beatrice took wonderful care of our cats Pedro and Pumpkin during our time away recently! She also was kind enough to check in on our hamsters, who joined the family very shortly during our break away. I couldn’t recommend Beatrice more! She was reliable, communicative and very flexible. She treated our fur babies as if they were her own which was demonstrated in all the lovely photos she took of them whilst sending us daily updates. She also went above and beyond in taking the bins out and hoovering the floors prior to leaving. Thank you so much Bea, it was great to know that they were in such good hands. We look forward to you caring for them again next week! :)”

About: I’ve grown up in a home with cats. I have experience caring for both playful kittens and older cats who need a gentler, calmer approach. I’m confident with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, grooming where appropriate, playing with cats and, most importantly, allowing them to interact at their own pace. I understand that every cat has a different personality, some love attention, while others simply appreciate a calm, reassuring presence. I’m patient, observant and always take the time to make sure cats feel safe, relaxed and comfortable in their own home. I know how important it is to keep their routines consistent while their owners are away, and I’ll always care for your cat with the same kindness, respect and attention that I would my own.

About: I grew up around cats and have two of my own cats now, have had experience doing work experience at various veterinary clinics and studied animal care for a couple of years. At one of the vet clinics they specialised in working with cats protection and that’s where I spent the majority of my time. While studying animal care I had done essays and studied on how to properly care for pets and additionally veterinary nursing. I am very passionate about caring for cats, I also took in a stray cat a couple of years ago that was severely neglected and fostered them until they found a suitable home Other experience I’d like to add is when my neighbour went into hospital for 3 months last year, I was trusted to take in their cat for this entire time.

“Louise is an absolute gem. She looked after our house rabbit Perry and was so flexible when our travel plans kept changing. She came for a intro prior to booking so I felt at ease. Louise shared some fab photos and we returned home to a very happy healthy boy. Would have her back in a heartbeat!”

“Sarah has been fantastic from start to finish. She came round to meet us, Georgie the cat and see the house. Easy communication before, during and after the house sit. Sarah kindly sent us photos and updates on Georgie, whilst dealing with a challenging heatwave! Georgie is looking forward to spending Christmas with Sarah. 🐾”
About: I have been walking dogs for neighbours and friends for 10 years. My family also fosters dogs, so I have a wide range of experience with different ages and breads. I have a flexible schedule and can help most days and most times to fit around your own schedule. Any questions please ask! I am available almost everyday except for wednesday afternoons as I am currently in the uni exam period. I am happy to work around any commitments i may have to provide flexible dog walking when needed. I do not offer dog sitting as I am in student accommodation that doesn’t allow it. For dog walking I will keep dogs on leads wherever possible to avoid potential conflict, unless dogs are very well trained and I know they will come back when I call or on command. I keep emergency treats on hand as well and will not hesitate to call should anything arise that I can’t handle alone.

“I left Meggy with Rosanna for 6 hours' day care on 2.2.24 at short notice. She was very accommodating and I felt Megs settled in almost immediately. About: Hello! I’m a passionate dog lover who understands just how much our pets mean to us. Last year I sadly lost my beloved Cane Corso, who was a huge part of our family. While I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog permanently just yet, I would love the opportunity to care for and spend time with other dogs until the time feels right to rescue again. I have experience caring for large breeds as well as dogs with different personalities and needs. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will treat them as if they were their own, and that’s exactly the level of care and attention I provide. I live in a loving family home with my 2-year-old son, who has grown up around dogs and is extremely dog-savvy, gentle, and respectful of animals. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I do ask that any dogs staying with us have had some previous positive interaction with children and are comfortable being around them. We enjoy long dog walks in the woods on a weekend together. I am happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that involves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, medication, or simply lots of companionship. I understand that every dog is different and will always take the time to learn about their individual needs and preferences. For the health and wellbeing of all pets in my care, I only accept vaccinated dogs. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout your dog’s stay so you can relax knowing they are safe, happy, and well looked after. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am a stay-at-home mum, which means I am home for the majority of the day and can provide plenty of company, supervision, and attention to the dogs in my care. Most of our days are spent at home or in the garden, giving dogs lots of opportunities to play, relax, and be part of family life. My son and I attend a class on Monday mornings and another on Saturday mornings, but we are rarely away from home for more than an hour at a time. Outside of that, we spend most of our time at home. If we do pop out for a coffee, walk, or family outing, I am happy to bring dogs along where appropriate and if they enjoy being out and about. This means your dog will receive lots of companionship throughout the day and will never be left alone for extended periods. I provide a safe, loving family environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. Our home has a secure enclosed garden, and dogs will have access to plenty of supervised playtime, exercise, rest, and affection throughout the day. Having previously owned a Cane Corso, I am experienced with large breeds and understand the importance of routine, consistency, and positive handling. Following the loss of my beloved dog, I have chosen to open my home to other dogs while I take time before rescuing again. I have a gentle and dog-savvy 2-year-old son who has grown up around dogs and understands how to interact with them respectfully. For this reason, I ask that dogs staying with us have had some previous positive experience with children and are comfortable in a family home environment. I only accept vaccinated dogs and will always follow owners’ instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, sleeping arrangements, and any special requirements. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while your dog is in my care.
“Jess and Nolan looked after Dylan for the first time and they were great. I was informed throughout the day on how he was getting on and he obviously had a lot of fun. I will definitely recommend their care.”

“Barbara was very kind and careful with my rescue dog who suffers from separation anxiety and needs one to one care. Barbara was very understanding and I will certainly ask her to look after Ruby again. Many thanks Barbara.”

“Jenny took amazing care of our puppy and we felt completely at ease. She’s incredibly friendly, communicative, and clearly loves dogs. We would absolutely book with Jenny again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter. 🐶✨”

“Charlotte is truly wonderful, and I couldn’t be happier leaving my dog Barney with her. I was nervous about leaving him at first because he can be ALOT, but Charlotte makes him feel super happy and comfortable.”

About: Hi, I'm an experienced dog owner with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Growing up on a farm surrounded by both working dogs and family pets gave me a deep understanding of dogs with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. As an adult, I've raised four dogs from playful puppies through to their senior years, so I'm comfortable with every stage of a dog's life. I'm also a paramedic, so being calm, responsible, and dependable comes naturally to me. Your dog's safety, wellbeing, and happiness will always be my priority. Although my work schedule means owning a dog full-time isn't practical right now, I'd love to spend my days off caring for yours. I offer good availability around my shifts and will always ensure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I live in a bungalow in Elstead with a large, fully fenced garden, giving dogs plenty of safe outdoor space to play, explore, and relax. Where I am situated offers lots of great walking trails! Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply a cosy place to curl up, I'll treat them as if they were one of my own. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged family member! I am a paramedic on a shift work pattern so will update my calendar accordingly for booking. Due to the nature of shift work when I am off, I am off for usually four days and would love to spend some more time caring for animals. I usually have my mums dog on my rest days to provide daycare whilst she is at work. I have a fenced garden and great access to beautiful walks in Elstead. I live 2 minute walk away from a recreational ground and often take my family dog there for training and sniffs after walks.

“Jane came to the rescue when our regular dog walkers couldn't help. She met our dog the day before to break the ice which meant that he was happy and confident to go for a walk with her the next day. A lovely walk was enjoyed - thank you Jane.”

About: I have owned dogs for the past ten years and cared for animals more generally since I was eight years old. As I work from home full-time I tend to have flexible availability and am able to cater to the needs of dogs that need a bit more attention, love and care. I am experienced with both puppies and senior dogs (my dog is a senior gal herself!) and love to spend time with the dogs outside— whether that be playing or relaxing in the fully-fenced garden or going on lovely walks in the Surrey Hills! I am very experienced with larger dogs but love hanging out with smaller doggos too! I work from home full-time so will have plenty of time to love on your pups! I take the dogs on walks 2-3 times a day (depending on your dog’s preferences). I have a fully fenced yard for your dogs to play in and my own 9 year old female Bernese Mountain Dog, Gwen, will be very happy to keep your dog company! She’s a very friendly and gentle girl who has been around puppies, elderly dogs, and baby and elderly humans tons too!

About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals. I’m 18 years old and have just completed my A-levels and am available for pet sitting over the next year before I go to university. I’ve grown up in a home full of dogs, cats and other pets. Over the years, my family has regularly looked after pets for friends, neighbours and relatives, giving me experience with a wide range of animals and personalities. From a young age, I was trusted to take shared responsibility for the dogs staying with us, including feeding, walking, exercising, playing with them and making sure they felt safe and settled while their owners were away. I have experience caring for everything from energetic puppies and kittens to gentle senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I’m comfortable looking after breeds of all sizes, from Dachshunds to Basset Hounds and Golden Retrievers. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a much-loved family member, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same kindness, patience and attention that I would my own. Having just completed my A-levels, I have plenty of availability to provide reliable pet care before I go to university next year. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m happy to work with owners to find times that suit their routine, whether that’s regular visits, occasional check-ins, weekends or holidays. When caring for your pet in your home, I'll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (where appropriate), and any other routines that help your pet feel safe and comfortable. I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect, ensuring everything is left clean, tidy and secure. I'll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, companionship and care during every visit, and I'm happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing they're happy and well looked after while you're away.

“Holly (and Marcus) came along for a meet and greet and a walk with our two Labradors. From the minute they arrived I knew we had made an excellent choice for our upcoming trip away. Holly is an extremely friendly and warm person and we feel very confident that our two girls will be well loved and cared for while we are away next month. Holly asked lots of questions about their usual routine and by the time she and Marcus left both dogs were very relaxed and happy in their company. It is such a comfort to have found someone so lovely to look after our girls while we are away.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have always loved looking after friends’ dogs from a young age. I also worked in a dog sanctuary in Koh Samui Thailand last year walking and loving some of the pups there which was an amazing experience. I also regularly look after my boyfriend’s and all my friends dogs and genuinely love spending time with them, whether that’s going out for walks, playtime, feeding, or sticking to their usual routines. I’m comfortable with different sizes, energy levels, and personalities from energetic adventurers to dogs who prefer a slower, more relaxed stroll and i’ve looked after all types previously. I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for, and I truly treat each one as if they were my own! I am available all day on most dates marked as available in my calendar. I keep my availability updated regularly, so if a day shows as free, I can usually be flexible with timings. Please feel free to get in touch if you have specific requirements and I’ll do my best to accommodate them. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in my care. I’m very respectful of routines and will follow all instructions closely, whether that’s feeding times, walking routes, or any specific needs your pet may have. I’m calm, attentive, and always keep a close eye on behaviour and wellbeing. When caring for pets in their own home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own, making sure everything is left tidy and secure. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you can feel totally at ease knowing your pet is happy and well looked after.

“My Springer Spaniel Olivia had a perfect stay with Terence while I attended a family wedding. Terence sent me a video during the day of Olivia happily mingling with the other dogs in a field on his farm. I won’t hesitate in arranging another stay next time I’m away. Thank you Terence for looking after my girl x”

“Anna was amazing, I can highly recommend her. Rosie was nervous when I dropped her off but she settled really quickly and was all smiles when I picked her up after an overnight stay and fun walks.”

“What an absolutely delightful couple, Nick and Lucy clearly enjoyed looking after Ruby and she obviously loved her time with them. The dog got more days out than I did (stuck in a Studio working). I received lots of lovely photos and daily updates. All in all Ruby seemed very happy and clearly enjoyed her time away. I am defo going to book Ruby in again with these lovely guys.”

“This was Lola’s first time away from me i wasn’t sure how she was gonna act because she’s already an anxious dog but Barbara reassured me everything was gonna be okay, would definitely use Barbara again”

“Thank you so much for looking after Murphy so well. He was so settled and really happy when he came home which means a lot to us as he did not do well in a kennel previously. We really appreciate the great communication whilst we were away and the care and attention you gave him he had a wonderful stay with you 😊”

“I felt very confident leaving our golden retriever with Nirvana and he was obviously well looked after. He loved being with other dogs and I now have more confidence to walk him off lead thanks to Nirvana's feedback. We'll definitely be coming back!”

“Charlotte is an absolute star. She looked after our two lovely Irish Setters for a week whilst we were on holiday. The location of her house is a dream with walks right out of her front door - and given how tired our doggies were when they got home they definitely had plenty of exercise. Charlotte was also fab at giving us regular updates so we knew they were doing well. The set up is great - a real home from home for the dogs and so they got to keep their usual routine and had plenty of cuddles (and a few attempts at sneaking up the stairs...). We are pretty convinced they were annoyed when we picked them up as they enjoyed their holiday as much as we did. Thank you Charlotte and family for looking after our girls so well.”
“Narla (springer/pointer cross) had an amazing time staying with Hannah, she came back actually grinning and yet nicely tired from an afternoon at the beach and a long walk in the morning. Many thanks and we will definitely ask again.”

“Andy and his fiancée were lovely. Zoe had a great time with them. They kept us informed by sending photos and timely updates. We look forward to leaving Zoe with them again soon!”

“Max had an amazing time with Carol and her family. They completely spoiled him and kept us up to date the whole time so we knew he was super safe and happy while we were away. He is an older dog with dodgy joints and they made sure he didn't hurt himself but still got enough exercise.”

“When I need to find care for my dog, Hebron is my first choice! Hebron has looked after Ore on many occassions, and always provides a happy experience. Hebron is incredibly attentive, reliable, and genuinely cared for my dog. My dog was given her medication, and her particular needs (separation anxiety and reactivity) were listened and attended to. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind during my time away. My dog came back happy and healthy, and I could tell they had a great time. I can't express my gratitude enough for the outstanding service that Hebron has provided. Her professionalism, dedication, and genuine love for dogs set them apart as an exceptional dog sitter. If you're looking for excellent care for your furry friend, you've come to the right place. Thank you, Hebron, for your exceptional service and for treating my dog like a member of your own family!”
