“Theo has been amazing with Lottie! He formed a bond with her very quickly, and is even helping with our Puppy training! He keeps us up to date on everything and Lottie is so excited when he comes to take her for a walk so much so she doesn't want him to leave. We would highly recommend Theo.”

About: Despite not growing up with a pet in my childhood, I always found myself gravitating towards animals my whole life and have been vegetarian for over 10 years. If there’s an animal in the room, you can be sure I’ll interact with it whilst being respectful of the animal’s boundaries. All animals are sweet angels in my eyes, regardless of shape and size! I’m a PhD student that is coming into their writing up stage and therefore will be home bound to write my thesis! I’ll be fully flexible and can adapt my schedule to accommodate the pet. I care for pets in their own home, where they can stay in a familiar environment. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, maintain their normal feeding, walking, and play routines, keep their space clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos and messages. My goal is to ensure pets feel relaxed, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m a huge animal lover, so my priority is making sure every pet feels happy, comfortable, and loved. Although I’m relatively new to pet sitting, I’m responsible, attentive, and always happy to follow each owner’s instructions to keep their pet’s routine as familiar as possible.

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs, including my Korean Jindo named Dalgu. I can provide safe walks, exercise, playtime, ball games, bathing, and administering medication when needed. I understand how important daily walks are for a dog’s physical and mental well-being. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and needs, and I always treat pets with patience, kindness, and respect. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I have a flexible schedule and can provide reliable, attentive care for your pets. I'm available on most weekdays and weekends, and I'll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while you're away. I have experience caring for my own dog for over 11 years, so I understand the patience, responsibility, and love that pets need. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine and any special instructions, provide regular updates with photos, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy throughout my care.

About: Despite not owning a dog myself, I have often taken care of my dads dog and am experienced in dog walking and sitting her. I always have had a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes and can promise your pets will be loved and taken care of with the upmost respect. I currently don’t work at all but will be returning to university in September so am very flexible for the summer and quite flexible from September onwards! I unfortunately cannot take care of your pet in my home but will give the upmost care in yours. I will follow rules and/or schedule and suggestions you make and keep your pet as loved and looked after as possible
About: Hi, my name is Liv and my partner’s name is Joe. We both work freelance in the film and tv industry. This means we have plenty of time in between jobs and Rover is a wonderful way for us to fill that time. I have always been a huge animal lover and have had many pets in my life. As I currently don’t have any pets of my own, I'm missing having them around and so when I heard about Rover I had to get involved. We live in a 2 bedroom house with a fenced garden. We are right around the corner from Stoke park which is perfect for dog walks. I also have a car so I can travel for walks too. I will give your pets the undivided attention, cuddles and care that they need and if you would like, I can also take photographs to let you know how your pet is getting on. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine. Whether it's feeding, walking, or giving cuddles, I prioritise their well-being throughout the day, ensuring they feel loved and attended to. In my home I provide care tailored to your pet's needs. This includes feeding on schedule, regular exercise through walks or playtime, giving any necessary medications, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 15 years and absolutely love being around dogs! I have experience with older dogs, particularly with arthritis and am more than comfortable with their needs. I work from home full time which gives me plenty of opportunity to be around your pet. I’m also an outdoorsy person so very happy to be taking your pet for walks as often as they require them. I have a fenced garden and patio doors leading straight outside for your pet to play outside as much as they like. I live in a large house with room for your pet to have their own space and feel at home.
“Thank you so much Tais for taking such wonderful care of our elderly dog Celery. The regular updates were lovely and so reassuring and Celery loved all the cuddles and treats!!”

“Dena has been an absolutely wonderful dog walker for our Lilly. From the very beginning, it was clear how naturally she connects with dogs, and over the 3 days Lilly grew truly fond of her—eventually getting so excited every time Dena arrived. What really stood out to us was Dena’s reliability and dedication. Even on rainy days, she never hesitated to take Lilly out for her walks, which gave us great peace of mind. It’s not easy to find someone who is both so dependable and genuinely caring, but Dena is exactly that. She has a real gift with dogs, and it shows in how comfortable and happy Lilly was in her care. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dena to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, cats, dogs, and everything in between! So caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I’m comfortable with all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle senior pets who need a slower pace. I have experience following specific feeding routines, giving basic medications, and supporting shy or anxious pets who need extra reassurance. Your pet’s comfort and routine will always come first, and I’m happy to tailor care to their individual personality and needs. I work fully remotely, which means I’m home all day and able to give your pet consistent companionship, interaction, and supervision. Whether your pet thrives on playtime, frequent outdoor breaks, or simply wants someone nearby for company, I can offer a calm, steady presence throughout the day. Because I’m flexible, I can easily accommodate specific routines, meal times, potty breaks, walk schedules, or any behaviours you’re reinforcing. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a secure, pet-friendly house with a garden. Indoors, pets have a comfortable, clean environment with plenty of cosy spots for naps and play. You can expect regular photo updates, honest communication, and a sitter who treats your pet like family.
“Mabel has had a few walks with Navania recently and I’ll be sure to book a lot more in! Mabel has been very well looked after, and Navania always provides some lovely notes and pictures. When I was walking Mabel today, she saw Navania down the road and nearly pulled me over in excitement to see her 😂”

About: Hi there! I’m Anaïs 👋 I’m 22 and absolutely love spending time with animals! I’ve cared for dogs of all ages — from bouncy puppies to gentle seniors — for family, friends, and clients alike. Over the years, I’ve looked after breeds like golden retrievers, Labradors, cocker spaniels, and border collies. I’ve also done several longer pet and house sits (up to a week at a time), making sure every dog feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles on the sofa, your pet will be treated like family! 🐾💛 Im a marketing apprentice student with flexible working at the minute from home and i’m available on weekday evenings and weekends for walks, drop-ins, or house sitting. When caring for pets in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I stick closely to each pet’s usual routine — from walk times and feeding schedules to favourite toys and cuddle spots — so they stay happy and settled while you’re away. I also treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own: keeping things tidy, following any house rules, and ensuring everything is just as you left it. Your pets and your home will both be in safe, reliable hands.
“Charlie came to our rescue at short notice and was helpful and responsive as we firmed up logistics. He confirmed when he’d started and ended the walk and provided updates during - really reassuring - as I’ve not used dog ‘walking’ services before. Speaking to family who gave Charlie access to our dog Chewie - they found Charlie to be courteous and professional and Chewie appeared very content on his return from the walk. I would be glad to request Charlie’s services again and recommend him to others. Thank you Charlie!”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, primarily spaniels, but have cared for a range of others, too. I always like to ensure that the basics of training are instilled for the safety of pets, such as words of command 'wait', 'sit' and 'follow', handy for when out on walks and in potentially dangerous situations like road crossings. I also have experience in clicker training and the teaching of the more "fun" commands 'paw' left and right, for example. While I do work full time I'm always happy to pop out for the hour or a bit for dog feeding and fuss giving but always more than happy to care for the dog as I can work from home and can take them out for regular walks or sit with them if they want a break I have a fenced-in garden, though small, would offer enough space for bathroom breaks and a sniff, and my flat attached would be more than suitable for a day of doggy care if needed
About: I have achieved different types of training from previous jobs that help me to become a better and more prepared sitter for all animals. Previously a dog groomer, pet care ambassador, zoo keeper and a pet owner myself. I have years of experience with domesticated animals such as dogs and cats but also with exotics like reptiles and avians. I have also trained in a few vets for care assistant roles and have background knowledge with the more biological components of pets. I owner two dogs of my own and have set a routine for their daily basis to make sure they have the best welfare and try to improve their lives every chance I can take with enrichment and lots of training. I also take care of my partners cats and reptiles on a weekly basis, health checking and enrichment tasks to better their health. Walking/ exercising, depending on the weather on how the exercise is delivered. Researching suitable diets, playing with them, extra activities like mental stimulation games like cat teasers, lasers, and for dogs puzzles. Health checking visually and physically daily, making sure I’m up to date with vet visits ans know of their vaccination history. Making sure the pets are groomed daily if needed, clipping claws and brushing teeth.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Guildford
I had a trip this weekend, and have always been very nervous at the thought of leaving my dog Khaos - whilst he can stay at my dad's without issue, K is a strong boy and so my dad walking him just wasnt an option. Elliot's support with walking K for me from my dad's helped make this whole thing work and I'm so grateful! He was excellent with K and the updates I received through the app gave me complete peace of mind! I didn't expect temperatures that we had this week when we set this up, but Elliot accommodated a change in walking time to come a bit earlier to avoid K struggling in the later, hotter times of the day which I really appreciated as well. I would highly recommend Elliot and will definitely book again in the future for support with K as I know he is in good hands! :)

Irina was amazing! Came to meet Wilbur ahead of time on a small street walk and he was instantly besotted. Our plans changed but we kept the booking as Wilbur seemed so excited and happy around her. She kept us updated with photos and he had the best time, he was really excited when she dropped him off as he lived being around her and then instantly fell fast asleep when she left. Would highly recommend and book again!

Anya is excellent with Fossil! She clearly has a true passion for dogs and he is so excited when he sees her. She is very kind and gentle and I have no hesitation about trusting her with Fossil. Anya is also exceptionally reliable and always reports on how her walks have gone. I could not recommend her more highly.

I initially booked a short walk as a way to meet the sitter before committing to a full day of boarding, and I honestly couldn’t have had a better first experience. Estheffany was absolutely lovely, so warm, kind, and clearly very experienced with animals. My dog connected with her straight away, which instantly put me at ease. Following that, I went ahead with a day boarding booking, and it confirmed everything I felt during our first meeting. You can tell she genuinely cares, and that level of trust is priceless, especially as it was my first time using the app and leaving my dog with someone else. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and feel completely confident leaving my dog in her care for longer periods.

George has been absolutely amazing with our Lacey. He has shown up consistently on time and provided lots of lovely photos where I can see that Lacey has had a brilliant time. He has gone above and beyond and has been great at communicating with me which has given me peace of mind. Would 100% recommend and would definitely book again!! Thanks George :)

I needed someone to give Daisy a walk and feed her at short notice. I spotted April's profile and contacted her. She was very quick to respond and kept in touch with me. April let me know when she'd arrived to see Daisy and updated me after her visit. Daisy was very happy and April clearly loves dogs. I'd thoroughly recommend April.

Astor is such a lovely and helpful person, and she took amazing care of my dog, Sushi. He absolutely adores her, and it’s clear she treats him with so much love and attention. She kept me updated with lots of pictures, which gave me such peace of mind🥰 They went on a nice walk together, and he even had a sweet little reunion with Maribelle, which made him so happy. I’m so grateful💕thank you so much! 💕🐾
