“This was our first time using this service, Paris made us feel at ease straight away, asking all the right questions so we new she was someone we could trust leaving our boy with and being in our home. Regular updates and pics. Left our house super tidy. We couldn't recommend Paris enough and will use her again without question. ”

About: Hey there, i’m Marina, a very caring and loving person and full time lover of cats and dogs My experience with dogs originates from having a family Yorkshire that we got as a puppy. Later on when i moved to England, I lived with a family and took full time care of their dog, we used to go on walks every morning after the school run and at lunch time. Our neighbour had the exact same dog but a male and often I used to take both of them on walks to the nearby fields. I have also taken care of my boyfriend’s family cats, they have 4 tabby cats who are very sweet and demanding. I usually feed them and administer medicine to Lucy, their oldest cat, when they go away. I also sit with them making sure they get some attention. I have previously occasionally looked after friend’s dogs by taking them on walks and feeding them. I’m currently working full-time from home so I am able to sit in other people houses or at home and give attention to your pets for as long as needed. I usually care for my boyfriend’s family pets, 4 tabby cats who are quite senior and demanding, usually require feeding at different times of the day and oral medicine for two of them due to health issues. As well as constant affection as they love to sit next to me whilst working I always prioritise the health and well-being of animals in my care. My approach involves maintaining their stablished routines as i can imagine it must be hard for them to be away from the people they are used to. I’d provide consistent attention and ensuring they are safe and clean. I’d also keep an eye for any signs of distress or concern if it arises
About: I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to caring for senior dogs with special needs. I provide personalised, attentive care to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. With my flexible schedule, pet care fits easily into my day. I’m always ready to provide reliable and attentive care. I am also available for early mornings. I prioritise safety and comfort by following all care instructions, provide supervision, and ensure pets feel secure and loved. I pay attention at all times during walks to ensure safe and joyful walk.
“We came home to very relaxed and happy dogs, Alicia had once again looked after them really well. Also the house was super clean and tidy. Rocky and Rex look forward to seeing you next time x”

About: I have many years’ experience caring for dogs and currently provide home-from-home dog boarding in my house near Gatwick. Dogs stay in a calm environment with plenty of attention, regular walks, and access to my enclosed garden. I only take a small number of dogs at a time so they receive proper care and supervision. I’m used to different breeds and personalities and always take time to understand each dog’s routine so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand and I send regular photo updates so owners can relax knowing their dog is safe and well looked after. I’m currently working part time hours but will be able to be flexible to make sure I can spend plenty of time with your dog . I have a fenced back garden which your dog is welcome to use and a safe haven inside and out . Also have fields close by ideal for dog walks
“Izzy looked after our dogs very well and kept us up to date. One of our dogs can be unsure of strangers and guests, but with Izzy, she took to her straight away. We would definitely use Izzy again. Thanks Izzy.”

“Dingo took to Caroline instantly and is so comfortable is her company. It’s really evident that Caroline is a huge dog lover and she really cares for them. She sent through photos throughout the day, fed and walked Dingo, and I came home to a very happy dog. We really hope to use Caroline again.”

“Sara has been wonderful! She took great care of Mando for us, taught him a new trick and kept us updated throughout the day with photos and videos. I highly recommend having Sara take care of your pets for you. She has been incredibly friendly and kind, your pets will be in safe hands.”

“Alex was so great throughout our booking. Super understanding of our plans and what our nervous dog needed. We got pictures throughout the day and updates on how he was. Would absolutely recommend Alex to anyone and will definitely book again 💗”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and, after losing my family dog a few months ago, I’d love to spend more time caring for dogs again. I’ve puppy-trained my own and other people’s dogs, and have experience looking after dogs with specific medical needs. I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels and routines, and making sure each dog gets the care and attention that’s right for them. I love hiking and being outdoors, so I’d be very happy to bring your dog along for an adventure, but I’m equally happy spending a cosy evening on the sofa with a dog who’d rather relax! I’m Reigate-based (but can travel by car) and available for daytime walks and visits Friday–Monday, as well as overnight stays any day of the week. I'm based in Reigate and work from home Mondays and Fridays, when I like to go for lunchtime walks and split the day up with play breaks! Evenings involve walks to the Common and cuddles on the sofa. I like to go for longer hikes in the countryside at the weekends, and can adapt this to dogs' specific requirements. I have a big garden which is fenced off, and plenty of space in the house for crates. Dogs are very welcome on a blanket on the sofas, and I'm happy for them to have free range of the house. For overnight stays, dogs can sleep where they're most comfortable (in the bedroom if they prefer!).
About: Walking and rehabilitating rescue dogs. Big bull breeds, blind dogs, reactive and challenging dogs. Canine behaviour management diploma & canine first aid qualification. Lots of experience I currently work part time for an airline so have lots of free time in the week and weekends. Flexible and reliable to fit in around any times. Can do long or short visits. I always have your pets safety at heart ensuring gates and doers are locked and always being present when sitting / walking your pet. I am good at following procedures and instructions.

About: Hi! I’m a massive animal lover based right here in Reigate, living with my girlfriend (who is also an active sitter on Rover!). We both grew up completely surrounded by pets! Back home, my family has two ridiculously energetic Pomeranian-Cockapoo mixes. Thanks to them, I am very well-versed in keeping up with high energy pups, training routines, and endless games of fetch. I’ve been the go to dog sitter for friends and family since I was 16. Over the years, I’ve handled just about every shape, size, and personality you can imagine. I am fully comfortable managing tiny Dachshunds , all the way up to a massive, goofy Flat coated Retriever called Lenny who thinks he's a lap dog. Working from home two days a week and having my weekends entirely free gives me a great balance of dedicated time to spend with your dog. On my WFH days, I can provide steady companionship and easily pop out for short 10–15 minute loo breaks and leg stretches between tasks. Since my weekends are wide open, I have a lot of free time at home to host longer boarding stays, take them on extensive walks around Priory Park, or handle multiple drop-in visits. Whether your dog needs a weekday desk buddy or a weekend companion, my routine is easy to adapt to their needs. Because I work from home two days a week and have weekends completely free, I have plenty of flexibility to pop over for morning, midday, or evening drop-in visits. Living centrally in Reigate makes it easy for me to fit visits around my routine, ensuring your cat gets their food, fresh water, and attention right on schedule. Whether you need a quick weekend drop-in while you're away for a night or daily visits during the week, my schedule is easy to adapt to your cat's routine. I live in a secure, dog-friendly apartment with my girlfriend, meaning your pet will often have two experienced dog lovers keeping an eye on them and giving them double the attention! For quick toilet breaks during my WFH days, we have direct access to a safe communal garden just a quick journey downstairs. When it is time for a proper walk, we are incredibly lucky to have the beautiful Priory Park just a 2-minute walk from our front door, offering plenty of space for your dog to explore and burn off energy. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every dog I watch with the exact same vigilance I use with my family’s own energetic pups. I know cats are happiest and most comfortable in their own territory, so my top priority is keeping their environment safe, clean, and completely stress-free while you're away
About: I’ve looked after dogs and horses all my life, including my own, family and friends pets. I look forward to giving your dog a special temporary home for the weekend!! I’m currently working self-employed part time so have plenty of time to play with your pups! Very flexible so can work to suit your needs I have a large spacious two bed flat with access to a big park 1 minute away. Dogs allowed free roam of apartment but can create ideal situation for your own pups

About: Hi 👋🏼 I'm a qualified teacher with an active DBS check - bringing the same care, reliability, and responsibility I use in the classroom directly to pet care.🐾 I've grown up with dogs my entire life, with a special soft spot for Poodles and Labradoodles-from loving our family curly scruff Rolo from a young age, to caring for doodles and other breeds as an adult. I completely understand differing energy levels and loving, fun personalities! Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk, quick drop-in, or some extra TLC, you can relax knowing they are in safe, experienced, and fully background-checked hands. I offer frequent photo updates and clear communication so you never have to worry. As a full-time secondary school dance teacher, I'm energetic, active, and used to being on my feet all day! My schedule allows me to offer walks and drop-in visits on some weekday mornings, most weekday evenings, and throughout the weekends. During school holidays and half-terms, I have full-time availability for house sitting and daytime pet care. My husband and I both adore dogs, so your pup will get plenty of attention, walks, and affection during evenings and weekends. Safety, security, and clear communication are my absolute top priorities. As a teacher, I hold an active DBS check and bring a high level of responsibility to every home I stay in. Since my husband and I can’t commit to owning our own dog just yet, your pet will receive 100% of our focus and love. I’ll always follow your exact routines for feeding, walking, and care to keep your dog comfortable, and I will send regular photo and video updates so you have complete peace of mind while away. We also babysit/child-mind/housesit, so are used to being around pets with young children too, and in different environments.
About: ***Rates entirely negotiable just drop me a message. I have my own cheeky Border Collie - Lunar, who loves play mates and learning new tricks. I am very experienced having grown up with Collies, Alsatians and Huskies my entire life. I live in a house with a back garden so pups can play together there as well as having plenty of walkies. I am experienced in giving medication should your pup need it as well as lots of cuddles, playing and training and of course treats! Your doggo would need to be ok with other dogs as they would be hanging out with Lunar if at mine. Let me know if you need my help, always happy to look after any and all breeds if I am available. I am currently working from home part time so I am currently free all days of the week other than Thursday afternoon and evenings, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup. I have a fully enclosed back yard, your pup will have a play mate as I have Lunar my Border Collie who loves any and all friendly doggos. I take Lunar on roughly 2 walks a day for roughly a 45mins to an hour each. Your doggo is welcome to join on all or none of them - whatever you prefer just let me know. I am very flexible and can work around you so just fill me in with your needs and I’m sure we can sort it.

Beth was absolutely amazing! I recently moved and needed company for a few hours a day for my doggies whilst I was at work. Obviously with the move my fur babies were quite unsettled, but I came back to happy dogs every day. She sent regular updates and looked after Toby and Bella so well. Would highly recommend and will definately use Beth again if she is available 🐾

Dakota has been amazing with our dog Bear. He has been so well looked after, with lots of long walks and plenty of love and affection. Thank you Dakota for coming to the rescue and making our Christmas care free - we knew he would be happy with you and thank you for all the updates as well, it was great to have the odd picture and video!

I am delighted to be writing this review for Jaz. Our dog Freya had the most wonderful Christmas with Jaz and her family. Jaz was outstanding in her communications and always asked if she was not sure of Freya’s needs. I can highly recommend Jaz and will definitely be using Jaz again. Thank you Jaz ♥️

Lucy was truly excellent. Fantastic communication from start to finish, including visiting us at home for a Meet and Greet. She was immediately very comfortable with both dogs and was kind enough to keep us updated while she was looking after them. Highly recommend.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Reigate walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Reigate choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
