Vet student with dog and cat experience
I’ve had pets including a cat and dog for over 15 years, and have also cared for pets belonging to friends and family, including walking, feeding and playing. As part of my university placement I have worked at a kennels, allowing me to work with many types of cat and dog, such as puppies, elderly animals, and those with special medical requirements such as disabled pets and those requiring medication.

This was the first time Lucy stayed overnight at our home whilst we were both away with work. Sally was a little unwell on the first night, and Lucy did a stellar job of keeping us updated on how she was and reassuring us that Sally was okay. After night 1, Sally was feeling better but Lucy continued to provide great updates and some very cute pictures of Sal. We got home to a very happy dog and an absolutely spotless house. In summary, Lucy took excellent care of both Sally and our home whilst we were gone (including dealing with the unexpected illness!) and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others or to ask for her help with Sally again. We trust her wholeheartedly!
Toby had a great weekend with Lucy with plenty of walks ! She kept us well informed on how Toby was getting on and also sent photos. Would fully recommend.
Lucy helped us with our need to look after the two boys & most certainly didn’t disappoint. Every facet of the situation was covered in detail from the pre/meet to the actual time with them. They are happy and the empathy they were shown is evident; particularly with Jim as he needs constant affection. Lucy is an excellent choice and someone we would have no issues in recommending and use of her services again. Many thanks.
Lucy came around to sit Sally, our 9 month cockapoo puppy. Lucy’s calm and friendly nature made us feeling comfortable leaving Sally in her care, and we came back to a happy dog who had had plenty of cuddles and a walk whilst we were out. We have already booked Lucy again - thank you Lucy!
Lucy took amazing care of our dog and home while we were away. She provided us with regular updates and photos of him, which was so thoughtful. She did a wonderful job and we’d absolutely recommend her!
Lucy was everything you would want in a pet sitter. On her visit to have a chat, George was comfortable with Lucy and let her stroke him, he normally runs away. I liked the daily comments and photos. To me she had a calm manner, so I knew George was in good hands.

Schedule
I’m currently a student, so am free at weekends and in the evenings, as well as during the holidays and any gaps from teaching during the day. If I’m sitting or boarding during the week I will likely have to leave pets alone for at least a few hours during the day.

I aim to create a calm environment for your pet, so try to keep to their normal routine, and be as relaxed and quiet as possible in order to make them feel at home.
A typical day
We will play lots of games, go on walks, and explore the area. We will also make plenty of time for cuddles and naps if needed!
