Alvin was an amazing cat sitter and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was very polite, kind, reliable, and clearly cared a lot about my cats. He kept me updated with photos and messages, made sure everything was clean and taken care of, and really gave me peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, my cats were very comfortable around him, which says a lot because they can usually be a bit cautious with new people. It was obvious they felt safe and relaxed in his care. I would absolutely recommend Alvin to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely lovely pet sitter. Thank you again for taking such good care of them!

About: I love to look after family friends dogs, I will bring them on lovely walks in nature, or stay in their house looking after them and playing with their favourite toys. I am caring, reliable and would love to take care of your furry family member! I’m currently a university Student Studying Occupational therapy. I now have free time due to finishing the academic year, meaning I am currently very flexible with time and often available. I have a cat of my own at home so would not be able to bring dogs to my home. I am very happy for home drop ins and dog walking.

About: 🐾 About Us: Your Pup’s Home Away From Home in Redhill! Hi there! We are Freya and Chris, a dog-loving couple living in Redhill. Our home is already filled with puppy love thanks to our adorable Lakeland Terrier puppy, Peggy, and we would love to welcome your furry family member into our pack! Whether your dog needs a fun day of doggy daycare or a cozy place to stay while you're away, we provide a safe, energetic, and loving environment tailored to their needs. 🏡 Our Home & Environment We live in a comfortable, dog-friendly house in Redhill with plenty of space for play and relaxation. Built-in Playmate: Your dog will have Peggy, our friendly Lakeland puppy, to socialize and play with. Great Location: We love staying active and taking regular walks around the lovely green spaces Redhill has to offer. Full Supervision: Your pup will never be short on cuddles, attention, or potty breaks. 🎓 Experience & Qualifications I have a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels. When you book with us, your dog is in incredibly experienced hands: 3+ Years of Rover Experience: I have been a trusted dog sitter on Rover for over three years, managing everything from high-energy play sessions to strict feeding and medication schedules. Terrier Specialists: We have a deep understanding of terrier personalities! Beyond our puppy Peggy, I have extensive experience caring for Hector, my family’s 9-year-old Lakeland Terrier. We know exactly how to channel that wonderful, spunky terrier energy. Senior Dog Care: I raised my beloved family dog, Kipper, who lived a long, happy life to the age of 15. I am incredibly comfortable and patient with senior dogs who require a gentler touch, slower walks, or extra medication management. 🐕 What to Expect "We treat every guest dog exactly like we treat Peggy—as a cherished member of the family." During their stay, your dog will enjoy: Tailored exercise loops based on their age and energy level. Regular photo and text updates so you can see all the fun they're having. A structured routine that mimics their home life as closely as possible to reduce any separation anxiety. We can't wait to meet you and your pup! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet-and-greet. I am currently taking a personal break from my regular 9-5 job and looking to get back into dog sitting and enjoying time with new dogs. Our home features a secure, fully fenced garden with both grass and paved areas. Dogs are welcome on the sofas and beds, but please let us know if you prefer we discourage this!

About: I’ve taken care of and been around dogs of all sizes from a very young age and have become the person my friends and family come to when in need of pet sitting. I have experience with senior dogs, reactive dogs, rescue dogs, large dogs, small dogs, and puppies so I can guarantee your family member would feel safe and happy in my care. I love everything about dogs and cats and love spending time with them and getting them to enjoy themselves and watching their personalities show I am currently lucky enough to not be working, this makes me available every day of the week to take care of all different kinds of furry friends. I have a clean flat situated directly next to a park where any dog would be able to sniff to their hearts content. I am comfortable crating animals if necessary or a preference.

About: I’ve had a pet cat my entire life, her name is pearl and she’s 21. As I’ve had her my whole life i know how to take care of pets very well and know what they need while also enjoying spending time with them very much. As my cats quite old I also understand the importance in care elderly pets need. I’m currently a student at university, hence during summer Im completely free to spend time with your pets and to give them all my attention. I have an elderly cat who I attend most of the time at home to make sure she’s healthy & happy. If that means fun with toys, giving food or medicine, cleaning or anything else, I can do it.

About: Are you looking for a sitter with a good understanding of pet behavior? I’m Emma, an experienced pet sitter specialising in "pop-in" home visits and dog walking. I have had my own cats and dogs for the past 20 years, and have been working in animal care professionally for the past 5 years, so I understand that every pet has a unique routine and temperament, and I’m here to ensure that routine isn’t disrupted while you’re away. I have extensive experience with both cats and dogs, and provide reliable, loving pop-in visits for your cats and dogs so they can stay happy and comfortable in their own home. I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members behind. With 5 years experience professionally caring for both energetic dogs and independent (or shy!) cats, my goal is to provide total peace of mind. Whether it’s vigorous playtime, fresh water and feedings, or just some quality lap time, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Integrating pop-in visits into my schedule is a natural and seamless extension of my dog walking business. Because most of my midday hours are dedicated to active walks, I can easily pop in on your furry friend both in the morning , and again in the late afternoon or early evening. * Fresh food and water top-ups. * Litter box scooping and waste disposal. * Playtime and enrichment (feather wands, fetch, or belly rubs!). * Basic medication administration if required. * Photo's and updates, so you can relax in the knowledge that you cat is safe and cared for.

Aimee was absolutely FANTASTIC with my cat. My cat is 13 years old and she is pretty shy with any strangers and I was worried she would just hide under the bed the whole time however she warmed up to Aimee really quickly (record time for my girl). Aimee played with my cat, kept her entertained, fed her, administered her medication and really look after her so well. Aimee took multiple photos of my cat for me daily which really gave me peace of mind. Aimee is lovely and really fast to respond. I highly recommend Aimee and would absolutely book with her in the future. THANK YOU Aimee for taking such amazing care of my Valentine!

There are 367 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Reigate . About 84% of Reigate sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
