About: I have experience caring for pets with different needs, including my own elderly dog and a cat who requires regular medication. This has taught me to be patient, attentive and responsible, and to make sure pets are comfortable and well cared for. More recently, I house sat for a family friend, looking after three cats and a reactive dog. This gave me experience managing multiple pets at once while being mindful of a dog’s individual needs and boundaries. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and take pride in providing them with the same care, attention and reassurance I would give my own pets. I work for myself from home and cannot own a dog or cat full time so this is a great half way for me as I will treat your fur baby like it was my own! I have a medium dog crate and Ellie Bo pens if needed and my own garden that your animal will have access to and is fenced in on all sides. There is no linoleum so they won't slip. Rebecca was brilliant with our cat, Maddie who had not been left on her own before so we were a bit worried, turns out she did great! Rebecca came in twice a day but stayed long enough for extended cuddles and fusses and managed to get Maddie to eat all her food which is rare even when we are here! This was the first time I had needed to use a cat sitter, so was worried about how my cat Hanna would get on with a stranger. Sarah was great, she was patient with Hanna and provided me with daily updates and photos, so I could see for myself that Hanna was growing in confidence over the course of Sarah’s visits.
