“We were Junes first booking and I would definitely use her again! She looked after our 4 cats and was very understanding about some issues with our two geriatric sisters, let us fully updated and spent more time than we expected with them. Even our nervous cat was friendly by the end of her visits!”

“Hannah is absolutely great! She is always available for last minute check ins with Rambo and she knows how to manage him since he is still a little puppy and a bit shy! Thanks Hannah :)”

“Kimberley kindly helped us by feeding our cat after a last minute request. She provided feedback and was great at communicating what she had done. Would definitely use again. Thank you.”

About: Hi there! I’m Stacy, a pet sitter based in Sutton, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets — I have three family pets back home in Siberia, whom I dearly miss. I first started pet sitting for friends, and since I work mostly from home, I decided to turn my passion into something more. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, boarding, and overnight care. Before any booking, I like to meet your pet so I can get to know their personality, routine, and any medical needs — that way they feel comfortable and cared for right from the start. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats, and I’m happy to help with feeding, medication, and following special routines. My daily rate for pet sitting is £40. If you’re looking for a caring and reliable sitter in Sutton, I’d love to chat and meet your furry friend! I work from home and can work part-time as a pet sitter from anywhere. Currently would prefer to work Friday-Sunday if I were to board the pet or stay at your house, but I am flexible. I live in a pet-friendly apartment in one of the new developments in Sutton, near Manor Park, easily accessible. I am very pet-friendly, so pets are welcome to sleep with me if they wish to.
“Neetal was absolutely fantastic with our puppy! Sent us lots of photo updates, and communicated with us the whole time. We could feel that she genuinely cared, and did everything to ensure our pup was feeling happy and taken care of. Will definitely be booking her again in future. A massive thank you!”

About: I have loved dogs and cats all my life. When i was little I wanted to become a vet so I can be closer to them, groom them, make them better, etc. I always adored washing them, brushing them, etc. But most importantly sleeping with them. I lived in a flat without any pets for a short period of time and it felt so "not home". I come from a family where we always had animals around and they were valued family members. Life had different plans and I didn't become a vet, but a nurse. And I have been looking after people for the past decade. But that doesn't mean cats and dogs are no longer my passion. They are my biggest hobby and my favourite therapy. All my friends count on me when it comes about pet sitting. I also got 2 cats of my own which I adore and that could not live without. I have a hybrid job, with at least one day from home weekly, sometimes two. I also have all weekends off. I am crazy about doggy day care but boarding too. I can also do local visits, both cats and dogs. I have a fenced garden. A spacious house. Two very low energy cats who like living in their own space. They don t like other cats in their environment but they accept dogs. If needed they can be separated as the house is on 2 levels

“Clara was great as always! We left our Christmas plans a little short notice, but Clara was super gracious! Both cats were well taken care of, so we were at complete ease while we were away!”

“Richard was amazing. The handover session was very helpful when he met us and our dog. He was immediately at ease competent and kind on meeting the dog . He was keen to learn about our requirements and the dogs All relevant information was exchanged about the number and timings of visits and Richard actually fitted in an extra visit to check the dog was alright in the heatwave We were very happy with Richard’s care ..and so was the dog”
“I can’t recommend Julia highly enough! She took such amazing care of my cat while I was away for two weeks. She didn’t just feed him, she genuinely looked after him and treated him like her own. During the heatwave, she even brought extra cold treats and added water to his food to make sure he stayed hydrated. Every visit included time playing with him and giving him attention, rather than simply coming in and leaving. My cat is very shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to new people, but he loved Julia from their very first meeting. That alone says so much about how kind and caring she is. Knowing he was with someone who truly loves cats meant I could completely relax and enjoy my trip without worrying about his wellbeing. Julia was always on time, reliable and went above and beyond in every way. She is simply the best cat sitter I could have asked for!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mum nurtured my love for them early on—she used to feed pigeons from our first‑floor windowsill, and together we would help any injured birds that needed care. Since then, I’ve shared my life with a turtle, a rabbit, a cat, and of course, dogs. Friends who trust me with their pets often say I have endless patience and a natural gift for understanding dogs. Nevertheless safety of your pet is as much important to me. That is why when carrying about your furry friend I will definitely follow the information and instructions provided and I will dedicate my full attention making sure your baby feels safe and comfortable. I am currently working part-time, with flexible schedule, so I would have loads of time to look after your dog. I'm available for boarding most weekends and week-days too with sufficient notice. I have a nice large open plan downstairs area and a fenced garden. My friendly dog Milo will keep your furry pet a company. There are number of local parks where I take my dog for walks, so will be happy to take your dog too if you don't mind.
About: I have 5 years of experience working with large and small dogs taking care of friends and family dogs over these years. I’m from the UK where I have had my beautiful husky since she was a puppy and have experience in training her in being obedient with great recall! I’m incredibly passionate about building trust with all ages of dogs and ensuring all dogs feel comfortable in my care. I’m always patient in giving them time to get to know me and would happily work with you to allow your dog to feel confident! I’m working from home and would be able to dedicate my time to the care of your pet. I’m dedicated to taking care of your pets over the weekend and I will always try my best to fit this into your pets routine. I will fully respect my clients home and ensure that everything is well taken care of. I will make sure to take time with your pet in trusting me in their space and will make sure to know when they might not feel comfortable. I’m always looking to make sure the owner feels comfortable that I am in their home and how best to take care of their pet.

About: Hello! I’m Anna a lifelong cat lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own boy, Prince, who I adored for over a decade. I understand cats deeply, their personalities, their moods, their routines, and their boundaries. I’m gentle, patient, and very tuned in to how animals feel. I’ve looked after anxious cats, affectionate cats, playful cats, and older cats who needed extra comfort. Because I recently lost my own cat, I have a huge soft spot for making other people’s pets feel loved, safe, and calm while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every cat as if they were my own.
“I would 100% recommend and book Joanne again to look after our cat Lollipop, she updated me with photos of her, her tray, food and water. Lollipop was happy too with her cuddles Thank you Joanne”

“Connor was kind enough to help me out at short notice and came to my house to sit with my pup for a few hours. Communication was great from the outset - Connor was super friendly and punctual and immediately a clear hit with Ted! I had absolute confidence in leaving him (and the house) in Connor’s care and came home to a very happy and tired pup, who’d been spoilt rotten with cuddles and ball games 😊 I would have no hesitation in recommending Connor to anyone looking for someone kind and trustworthy to look after their pets. We hope to see you again soon!”

About: I currently do not have any pets of my own. so, plenty of time to spoil yours. During my childhood/ teens I had a dog and a cat. I adore animals and they seem to adore me. Looking forward to caring and spoiling your fur babies while you’re away I am currently working part time which gives me lots of free time to care for your pet. I have a beautiful garden and live close by parks and commons for plenty of walks. While looking after your fur baby I will cuddle, pet and hang out with them. I adore animals and treat every animal I care for like they are my own. I adore cats and dogs.

“Kezia is such a caring lady who went above and beyond to ensure our cat and home are looked after. This was the first time we left our cat with an unfamiliar adult, and we couldn’t be happier. The communication was excellent, and Kezia made an extra effort to visit at specific times. Looking forward to having you look after Khaleesi again, Kezia!”

Annabel was amazing. I was much relaxed on my short break that my cat Sorrell is well looked after. He is an anxious cat and goes into hiding with new people but he was a completely different character with Annabel. She sent me his photos, food photos and update on how much has he eaten. 5 Stars all the way.

Sarah looked after our 2 kitties while we were away for 6 days and she was brilliant! Kept us up to date every single day, sent photos and videos and reassured us that they were fine. She's timely and reliable and would definitely book again. Thank you again Sarah! xx
Samuel always does a brilliant job looking after our cats, Pancetta and Noodles, whenever we’re away. We completely trust him, and it’s clear our cats do too. He keeps us updated, takes great care of them, and gives us real peace of mind while we’re away. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Aleksandra took very good care of our cat Ethan. We came back from holiday finding him well, relaxed and chilled. Aleksandra gave us regular updates, with pictures and notes. I found she’s very reliable and trustworthy. Aleksandra is also very approachable, and considerate in the way she took care of Ethan and looked after some small things like where to bin the food punches to avoid them to smell in the heatwave. Aleksandra spent some good quality time with Ethan with some playtime and cuddle time. Ethan seems to love her. We would strongly recommend Aleksandra as cat/pet sitter.

We left our 3 cats in the very capable hand of Amy. Her communication and updates were fantastic and eagerly awaited each day. She looked after them like her own cats. I could not recommend her highly enough. We will definitely ask Amy to look after our cats again in the future.

June is an amazing cat sitter! My cat is been checked twice a day, fed, gave his medication, and cuddled and on my way back he looked relaxed. June has taken care of Tito and updated me every single visit and also I had to extend one day and I gave her a short notice without any problems she agreed. I really appreciate June help with my fluffy 17 yo boy and I will book her again! Thank you June!

Highly recommend! Becky took amazing care of Midge over the past 5 days while I was away. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Midge is usually a bit shy around new people, but she warmed up to Becky right away. I came home to a very happy, relaxed kitty and a perfectly clean space. I will definitely be booking Becky again!

Very trustworthy and cat friendly person. Paula provided excellent service visiting our cats twice a day to feed and provide attention for 3 weeks. She provided daily reports and photos to keep us informed. I would recommend her and book her again. Thank you.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
