I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, from my childhood cocker spaniel who I helped out with in his younger energetic years and into his older, unfortunately more sickly years, to the current family sprocker who, while adorable and loyal, is particularly timid due to experiences prior to our adoption of him. Over the years I have dog sat for friends and family, caring for dogs similar to those that I've grown up with, but also those with extra needs in the form of anxiety and varied routines. While I hope to adopt a dog in the future, sadly at the moment I am not in a position to have a full-time pet, but would love the chance to be around, and care for animals in the meantime! So far through Rover I've had the opportunity to look after a variety of dogs (and some lovely cats) with different needs and requirements who you'll see scattered throughout the pictures on my profile and have loved spending time with all of them and getting the chance to explore more of the walkable local area in the process. I also volunteer with a local lost pet charity as a media and email admin, helping in efforts to reunite missing and lost pets with their families, and occasionally assisting with their stall at local events, such as the RSPCA dog show earlier this year.

While I am unable to have a pet full-time in my current home, I've had pets my entire life, having had energetic spaniels who needed plenty of walks and playtime, to looking after more relaxed, affection-centred Italian greyhounds. While I do work weekdays, my job allows for pets to be besides me (or, as tends to happen, asleep on my knee) throughout the day allowing an easy balance of work and attention, with plenty of spots for exercise within walking distance, including a park with lots of trees to keep the temperature down on hotter days a few minutes away.

Where do I start with the lovely Neve! She was absolutely brilliant with our boy Marvin. He is an active and sociable cat who needs a lot of interaction and she really bonded with him (he cried when she left!). She has a lovely personality ; friendly calm and unflappable and left the house clean and tidy. She also provided lots of updates - mostly of Marvin looking adoringly at her 😊 . Can't recommend her highly enough and Marvin is already booking our next trip so he can see her again!
Neve is an absolute superstar! When we first met, she immediately put my mind to ease that Rufus and Sully would be in great hands. From the first day, she provided plenty of updates on how they were settling in, and then continued to provide pictures and videos everyday following which was wonderful to receive. Neve was super understanding and accommodating of a few last minute timing changes which I really appreciated too. I can’t recommend Neve highly enough!
Neve is great with Zero! It normally takes him a while to get settled with a new sitter but with Neve, he’s gotten so comfortable!
Neve is great! I requested a day care last minute a she was more than happy to take her. We even had a quick call to learn more about Noel, as we didn't have time for a meeting beforehand. And my baby seemed very relaxed around Neve as well. Whenever I'm back in Brighton I will book with her again
Neve was phenomenal with our anxious and medically complex dog. She was super patient with him as he warmed up to her and gave us loads of updates throughout the day. She was also really attentive to when he might’ve been in pain and sensitive to any behavior changes. Thank you so much Neve!
Neve was amazing. I was so nervous leaving Scar for the first time as he is a very needy and playful cat who needs a lot of attention. Neve updated me regularly with lovely photos and messages about their day. Neve was originally booked in from 8:30 am but very kindly came at 6:30am as I was leaving for my trip early. I didn’t ask Neve to do this but I feel she knew how nervous I was and she came before I left for my trip which made me feel a whole lot better that scar had her there. She went above and beyond for scar and when I came back from my trip Scar was very happy and content. I can’t thank Neve enough.

Zeitplan
I currently work full-time in marketing from home, leaving plenty of extra time in my schedule to play with, monitor and exercise pets. While I do have a monthly visit to the office, the rest of my schedule is manoeuvrable and easy to work around.

- Please let me know in advance if there are any additional needs that your pet has, whether they are medical requirements, or habits and preferences. It is also vital I know how they react to other animals as there are many dogs in the area, so I need to be able to plan walk times and routes accordingly if this could be an issue to ensure their safety. I will always try and accommodate any needs or requests, however if I believe I am not the best dog sitter for you or your pet I will be honest should I feel I could not provide the proper service effectively.
