We’ve had dogs our whole lives and now have our own little fur baby, Hiccup. We love watching pups gain trust and feel at home during their stay with us. Before moving to the UK in 2020, we spent over three years dog-sitting in South Africa. Now, we continue pursuing our passion for animals by caring for dogs together, with Hiccup as our friendly sidekick. We promise to treat your furry friends as if they were our own, with endless kindness, cuddles, and love. 💕🐾

Alexis was absolutely brilliant! We had to find someone with not much notice to look after our dog for a week. We didn’t want to use a kennel and were conscious that our relatively anxious dog would find any change stressful. A friend suggested we look on Rover and we found Alexis lived close by, had great reviews and was available. Alexis replied really quickly to our questions which was brilliant. We had a meet up before our trip to see how everyone go on which also put our minds at ease. When we were away, knowing our dog was being so well looked after meant we could enjoy our trip. Alexis sent regular updates with lots of photos and videos which we loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use Alexis again. Thanks!

Alexis did a great job looking after Kobe overnight. Communication was clear and reassuring, and Kobe was happy and well cared for when I got back. I really appreciated the attention and reliability. I’d happily recommend Alexis and would book again.
Would definitely recommend Alexis to look after your dog. It was our first time leaving Benji and we were obviously worried about how he would be but Alexis welcomed him into her home immediately and cared for him like her own. She provided regular pupdates and photos to reassure us whilst away and he looked happy, healthy and well fed. It’s a worrying feeling leaving your treasured dog with someone you don’t know but Alexis welcomed us for several pre visits to ensure Benji would know the surroundings and get along with the gorgeous friendly Hiccup. It’s great to know we have a safe home from home for Benji whenever we need to leave him.

Schedule
A normal day in our life with Hiccup: wake up then feed him & take him for a quick walk. Play at lunchtime then evening walk and dinner

Safety, trust & environment
We have a back garden which is fully enclosed so it’s very safe for the dogs to enjoy. Hiccup spends several hours out there enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

A typical day
Our dog Hiccup absolutely adores other dogs and would love a friend on weekends. We can provide varied level of exercise depending on your doggos needs. We would love to get a second dog but it isn’t possible right now, so alternatively we would love to welcome your doggo into our home! We love beach walks (and swims if the doggos like swimming) and country walks.
