I work part time 3 days a week from home so I have plenty of time to walk my dog and yours. My partner also works from home so there is always someone in the house. We walk our dog first thing in the morning, at lunch and in the early evening. I understand that each dog has different routines so will be sensitive to this but your dog will get at least 2 long walks (an hour plus) a day if needed. We live 5 minutes walk from woods and countryside, 10 minutes from a large park - both very popular with dog walkers, and 10 minutes drive from the South Downs and the beach so my dog always has a large variety of walks.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a dog friendly house - we're used to our dog nosing at everything so it is very safe. The back garden is large, fenced and secure so they will always have access to the outside. Our dog is allowed upstairs and sleeps in our room (but not on the bed) - depending on your preferences your dog could sleep upstairs or downstairs. My dog has a definite routine so I'm used to planning my days around his food, sleep and walks. I have 2 children over 11 who love dogs but are also old enough to leave them alone when they need peace - your dog would need to be used to children. Most importantly, I understand how much dogs mean to people and will follow your wishes when looking after your dog. I am a very reliable and caring person.

Information Sarah T. would like to know about your pet

My preference is for small to medium sized dogs who are used to children, other dogs and a lively household (not all the time!). Please let me know your dog's routine, dietary requirements and provide a toy or blanket from home to keep them comforted. I would like to meet your dog before they come to stay so they can get to know me and Buzz before they are dropped off to stay.

A typical day

I will walk your dog 3 times a day to keep them stimulated. I can play fetch in the garden and my children would love playing with them if you would like that. They will be able to go upstairs or rest on my dog's sofa if they need to nap or relax.

Pet care experience

I have a lively, friendly 6 year old sproodle and have a good deal experience with dogs. I did puppy training with him but have mainly have picked up knowledge by spending time with him and other dog owners. I also grew up with a dog and love their company. Since September 2023 I have looked after lots of dogs - walking, daycare and boarding through rover.com.

Sarah was fantastic with Clodagh. She kept us updated, sent us photos and Clodagh left a happy dog! We will definitely use Sarah again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Her dog Buzz is lovely too!

Sarah's care and attention to Jukka was excellent. He really enjoyed his stay over and certainly enjoyed pottering in the garden.
