Experienced Brighton dog sitter!
Hi there! My name is Saskia and I have been trusted to take care of my friends’ cats and dogs for years. I am happy to either walk dogs on or off lead, according to whatever you’re comfortable with, and love everything from lazy to super active dogs. I always wake up quite early so your dog won’t be waiting around for ages for a morning walk. I’ll also send you regular photos so you can be up to date with how your pooch is doing!

Saskia has been amazing - she has cared so well for Rosie and done so many lovely things with her. Rosie is a quiet little dog who can be a bit nervous at first but Saskia won her confidence and helped her settle and feel at home. I can unhesitatingly recommend her as an excellent and kind dog sitter.
This was Ollie’s first time staying with someone he doesn’t know. He can be quite nervous but from the regular communication with Saskia, he relaxed quickly and has had a lovely day.
Fozzie had a lovely afternoon with Saskia at her house. She made him very welcome and he certainly made himself at home based on the photos I received ;-) Highly recommend Saskia xx
We love going to Saskia's place. Sunny happily trots in as soon as she opens the door. I get regular (p)updates of their day and Saskia is happy to follow my wishes regarding Sunsun. I can only recommend her.
Saskia looked after Lola for the weekend and was fantastic. She gave regular updates and Lola is happy and seems to have had a fun time. I'd highly recommend her.
We boarded our dog Zero with Saskia today, and unfortunately Zero became unexpectedly unwell during her stay. Saskia handled the situation with incredible care and professionalism; monitoring Zero closely, providing us with regular updates, and even checking in with the vet. During what could have been a very stressful and worrying situation, we felt fully supported and reassured knowing Zero was in such capable and compassionate hands. We’re extremely thankful for the level of care Saskia provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely caring dog boarder. Thank you so much again!

Schedule
I work from home most of the time - my work does let me work from home for longer stretches if I’m dogsitting which is great! I’m an early riser who loves getting out and about on the beach / nearby parks and dogs that have stayed seem to love the comfy sofa in the house. I’m happy to set up a little bed for dogs myself or have you bring yours! I am also still very happy to accept bookings from London / surrounding areas if your dog wants a little beach holiday! I can get to London very easily and pick up your dog / bring them back if they’re happy to go on the train.

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure pets are walked, fed and given any medication they need. I’m calm and patient so am able to handle most temperaments in pets, whether they’re super cuddly or would rather maintain a bit of distance. I make sure they’re on the leash unless you’re comfortable with them walking without, and make sure to be wary when they are around other dogs / near busy roads. I take lots of photos during any pets’ stay, and will keep you up do date in general / if there are any issues.
A typical day
I have good access to parks nearby so will be able to treat your dog to loads of lovely walks :) we have a great, good-sized private garden so it’s very easy to pop outside to relieve your pet.

- Let me know if your dog has any favourite things to do, or things to watch out for / things that make them anxious. I’m also used to giving pets any medication they might need. Other than that it’s always great to have their favourite toys and some treats to make their stay the most comfortable it can be until you get back.
