I have enjoyed having lots of different pets over the years which my 3 children have been delighted about! We have had 4 dogs, 5 cats, 2 Chinchillas, a bearded dragon, hamsters and fish! I have worked at a doggy daycare in the past and looked after friends dogs in their homes and mine. I grew up with cats from 8 years old and loved having pets in my home! Duggee our 2 year old Labrador is the sweetest boy and my partner James and I love exploring West Sussex walks with him! I have done dog training with all my dogs and have done an online course regarding dog behaviour.

I have a secure fence all around my garden as I have a dog myself and lovely walks right on my doorstep which can be accessed without a car.

I was apprehensive about leaving my dog for the first time overnight. Sam and her family were very kind. Our dog had a great time, photographs showed him chilled out… which was reassuring for us. We all as dog lovers want to find a family with the same values to care for our precious pets. Sam and Cameron took really great care of our two pups for a week. They were good at communicating with us, and gave the pups lots of attention and exercise - the dogs developed a real bond with them, which was nice to see. Thank you!

This was Samantha's first booking with me and it's always a nervous time. I needn't have worried at all. Sam and Marni (my dog) clearly gelled from the start and went on lots of lovely walks together, meeting family, having coffee out in town and generally having a whale of a time from all the pictures Sam kindly sent me. The cats were fluffy and happy on my return and didn't give Sam too much trouble getting them in from their daily forages. She even kindly did some ironing for me which wasn't expected but was very gratefully received! Would definitely have Sam again and hope she will continue to be a Roverite.
Sam and family were great in looking after my poochies. Rosie was determined to try and squeeze through the tiniest of gaps and Sam was quick to respond and stop Houdini in her tracks. The girls were cared for so well, enjoyed lovely cuddles and walks with Sam and her family. Mercy being a rescue was a little anxious to start with and Sam recognised this, making every effort to make sure she was happy and settled. I received lots of lovely photos and updates which helped put my mind at ease for the fur babies first sleep over with new friends. In a blind panic and rush I forgot to pack an extra meal for the girls and Sam was quick to remedy this. Thank you Sam for looking after the girls as though they were your own! X

Schedule
I work part time for the NHS and as a swim teacher which allows me to spend time in people’s homes and with their pets or to water plants etc . My partner James works from home so we have a lot of flexibility between us. I can adapt my work around the dates clients want me to house/dog sit.
