About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, I currently have two— a German Shepherd which I raised from a puppy and a Romanian Rescue—which I’ve had for 3 and 2 years. I am skilled in feeding, grooming, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. I prioritise their socialisation and make sure they are walked at least twice a day whenever possible, maintaining their health, happiness, and overall well-being. I’m currently working a part time job from Friday evening to Sunday. However any other days I have full availability and can dedicate my time entirely to caring for your pet. I am available every day from now until 20th - 29th August, and after these dates, my schedule will remain fully open apart from Friday to Sunday, allowing me to provide consistent, reliable and loving care whenever it’s needed. Safety - If walking dogs i'd ensure that the harness is well fitted, and the leash is secured to prevent the dog escaping during a walk. - I’d provide multiple and all round water breaks/ ensuring water bowl is full at all times, and provide shaded/ cool areas to keep cool. - I’d ensure to keep an eye on the pets to ensure if there’s any signs of illness, injuries and any distress and if there’s is I’d ensure to immediately report to the owner/s. Trust - I’d ensure to keep all owners in constant communication by sending photos, any updates, or videos during visits or dog walks. - I'd always make sure to always follow any instructions left by the pet owners like keeping to their regular routines, keeping to their pets food dietary plans. - I'd also ensure to treat the pet owners home with respect and respecting their items within the home, id also treat the pet with care and leave any space used clean if a mess was made. Environmental - I'd ensure the pet owners home or walking area is free from any harmful hazards like broken glass, sharp objects or anything that could potentially cause harm. - When doing dog walks I ensure to choose a walk route with the best interest of the dog whether the dog is nervous of traffic or loud noises. I'd always put the dogs well-being first and always go to a park the dog knows and is comfortable being at. - I'd ensure that all dogs (if exempt) is allowed a chance to socialise and interact with other owners or dogs during walks only when appropriate. - I'd ensure any waste from the pet whether it be on dog walks or at home, all waste would be properly cleaned and disposed of.

About: I have had animals all my life. Dogs, cats, rabbits, rats and everything in between. I have always been passionate about looking after animals and finally have an opportunity to do something with it. Whilst I have no professional experiance, I have a lifetime of personal experiance looking after my own pets and those of friends and family. I have a Level 2 in Animal Care and I'm currently working through a diploma in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking I'm not currently working so I have full availability across the week. Ideally I would love to turn this into a 9-5 Monday to Friday role with limited availability for evenings and weekends. Eventually I will be looking at a boarding liscence as well. At first I wont be offering care at my own home. So I will be looking after your pets in the comfort of their own space. Dog walks will only be off lead with permission and with good recall/no aggression. I will only walk 2-3 dogs at a time and will offer solo walks for dogs who need to be walked alone. Walks will be an hour long except in the Summer when walks will either be shorter or swapped with a home visit. Home visits can be once or twice a day as needed. Unless requested for Pet Sitting service

About: I have had dogs in my life from when I was a child right up to recently when we had to say goodbye to our 14.5 year old, Ozzie. I miss having a dog around and would consider it a privilege to care for yours and to get some very much missed doggy love. My husband Phil will accompany on any overnight sits. I’m currently not working after returning from working abroad in France for the past few years so am available at short notice, I also have a car so can easily get to your home. I will look after your pet in your home and respect both and treat them with the utmost care and love. I am happy to follow all instructions that you leave.

Karen only walks one dog at a time, so my dog Peggy has her full attention and I never have to worry she is with big dogs that she is sometimes scared of. At our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions about Peggy's likes and dislikes which was great. Karen is a reliable dog lover, she sends lots of pictures of my dog enjoying her walks, even on a half hour walk. I will definitely be booking Karen on a regular basis, she is the dog loving walker I can trust, and peggy loves.

About: Hi there! I’m Coral, a 33 year old dog enthusiast who has recently swapped the peaceful Cotswolds for the Portsmouth seaside. I’ve also just had my first baby (October 2025) so it’s been a very exciting time all round. And for anyone who has booked me before, don’t worry, I still travel back regularly for friends, family and returning pups. By day when I’m not on maternity leave. I’m a Project Manager for Marketing Week, but dogs have always been my real happy place. I’ve been house sitting and providing pet care for around four years now and it’s something I genuinely love. A little about me: I’m into all exercise, crafts, long walks and anything that brings a bit of joy. I care for all dogs from tiny puppies, to nervous dogs to sweet seniors and can help with walking, feeding, bathing and daycare. As I’ve just welcomed my little one, most of my availability at the moment is from our home rather than staying in an owners house. Your dog will still get plenty of attention, cuddles and company. Our home is calm, relaxed and very dog friendly. We love nothing more than a dog walk. I’ll always be joined by my partner Jordan, who adores dogs and has lots of experience, especially with nervous pups. He grew up with a rescue dog from Spain called Bonzo and has a brilliant way of building trust. For longer or overnight stays, Jordan is usually around to help make sure your dog feels fully settled. Thank you so much for considering us. Working remotely grants me flexibility. Your pet's well-being is my priority. I adapt my schedule to cater to their needs, even for travel, ensuring constant care. All i need is a reliable internet connection. I prioritise safety with common sense and tailor care to your pet's habits. In your home or mine, trust and a pet-friendly environment are paramount. Your guidance shapes my approach

About: I’m always the one asked to dog or cat sit! I absolutely love doing it and getting to know the pets. I do sometimes think I’m a dog whisperer as I seem to know what they want or are thinking. I provide lots of cuddles and plenty of play. I have experience looking after both large and small dogs. I have also looked after multiple dogs at once, meeting each of their specific needs. I have experience with nervous and anxious dogs too, adapting the dog walk to suit the dog. I currently work in hospitality but I’m able to be flexible with my days and shifts. I love going out for walks so a little dog to join me would be fab. This gives me the best of both worlds as I sometimes travel so having a pet isn’t suitable for me full time. I have a fenced garden and plenty of parks to offer a well deserved play outside. I enjoy caring for pets in their own home and getting to know their home comforts and routine.

About: Hi! I am a kiwi who has recently moved to the UK and a big animal lover. I’ve grown up around animals and have plenty of experience caring for pets of different kinds. Back home we have a dog and two cats (who I miss very much), so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walking and playtime. I’ve also helped care for animals on my bosses farm, including horses, chickens, pigeons and dogs. Occasionally friends have also trusted me to look after their dogs whilst away for long weekends etc. so I’m used to keeping pets company and giving them lots of attention. I’m an active and caring person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I am new to the UK and the Rover app so I am trying to build trust and make connections. I would love to have a chat about whether I would be a suitable carer for your pet so feel free to reach out :) Pet care fits well into my routine as I work week-on/week-off as a live-in carer, which means every other week I have full availability. During those weeks I’m flexible for walks, drop-ins or overnight pet sitting and enjoy spending time outdoors with animals. I will make sure to follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and relaxed. This includes feeding at the right times, regular walks, playtime and plenty of attention. I will also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away.

About: Hi, my name is Ellie and i am 22 years old. From a very young age I have always loved all animals. I have grown up with them and still continue to have pets, including my 4 cats, Molly, Oreo, Rosie and Ash and my dog Buddy. Molly came to us as a stray and had her kittens, Oreo and Rosie, under my bed. We loved all three so much we had to keep them all. We rescued Buddy from the Blue Cross as a puppy, where i also have previously volunteered, as his previous owner could no longer take care of him. I trained him myself so am very patient with all animals. When I was younger I also had my own horse which is where my passion for horseriding came about. I work Monday to friday so am only available weekends. I live in Portsmouth so i am able to travel as I have my own transport. I can accommodate to any needs whether thats morning and evening walks or being with them all day. I can also house sit and pet sit overnight on weekends. I will make sure to feed and water your pet when needed and give plenty of walks throughout the day. I will interact with them and give affection if wanted.

About: Hey there! First things first, I completely understand your hesitation about letting someone else care for your beloved companion. So, let me share a bit about myself. My name is Jessica, and I live in Portsmouth. Pets have been a cherished part of my life for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles—you name it! Back at my family home in Kent, we have two lovable dogs: Ruby, a sweet Staff X Lurcher, and Boomer, a unique Patadale X Chihuahua X Silver Lab (I know, it’s quite the delightful mix with a long story of its own!). I'm genuinely excited to offer my services because, at the moment, I can’t have a pet of my own. This way, I’m not only helping wonderful people like you but also getting my daily dose of cuteness and the chance to care for your pet just as much as you do! With a diploma in Animal Management, I have a good foundation of knowledge about various animals. I eagerly look forward to getting to know you and your precious companions! I work full time remotely now, which means I’m home all day and able to give your pets loads of attention and company. I can pop in during the day or evening for check-ins and walks, and I’m also happy to stay overnight if you need someone to look after your little ones. I’ve looked after lots of different breeds in all shapes and sizes. I love getting out for walks and I’m always happy to take your pup out for some fresh air, exercise and attention. I’m confident with all temperaments and ages and I make sure every dog feels relaxed, safe and understood. I’ve also helped care for my husband’s family dogs over the years, including raising their puppies, so I’m very used to different routines and needs. Your pup will be in loving, reliable hands with me.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and birds. Growing up, I had two Labradors, Nemo and Bruce, and my nan also bred Labradors, which gave me valuable experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs. I currently have a 7 year old Shih-poo called Luna. Last year, she suffered a spinal injury, which is unfortunately quite common in her breed. Supporting her through a strict three month recovery programme and medication plan required patience, consistency, and attentive care. Thanks to this, we were able to avoid surgery, and she is now back to being a happy and healthy pooch. This experience also gave me firsthand understanding of the extra care, gentle handling, and attention some dogs may need during recovery or later in life. I am regularly trusted by family and friends to care for their pets while they are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their usual routine, I take the time to make sure each pet receives the attention they deserve. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals and my commitment to providing the highest standard of care. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I will always provide the same level of care, affection, and attention that I give to Luna (and she is one pampered pooch!). While I don't have professional pet care qualifications, I have a lifetime of hands on experience with animals and pride myself on being reliable, caring, and trustworthy. Your pet's wellbeing will always be my top priority. I currently work part time, which gives me the flexibility to provide your pet with plenty of care, attention, and companionship. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or cuddles, I'll make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their usual routine. Your pet's safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. During drop in visits, I'll make sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need, whether that's fresh water, feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, or simply some company and affection. For walks, I'll ensure your dog is exercised safely and enjoys plenty of enrichment along the way. I'll always follow your instructions regarding routines, training, and any specific needs your pet may have. I understand the trust involved in caring for both your pet and your home, and I will always treat them with the utmost respect and care.
