About: Hi, I’m Eliza and I’m 19. I’ve had a golden cocker spaniel in the household for about 5 years now - we got her in 2021, when she was 4 months old (an adorable tiny puppy!) and I was 14. She’s now 5 years old so I’ve pretty much grown up with her, so I have experience with dogs of all different ages. I would prefer to look after small and medium-sized dogs and I’m used to them pulling on the lead (my dog does it all the time!) but open to walking larger dogs too, as long as they aren’t too strong on the lead. I’m used to long walks since cocker spaniels are an active and lively breed! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I’m a student at Southampton university, currently in my first year, so I’m pretty flexible with timings. I’m free at various times on weekdays, and most weekends, but I’ll be updating my calendar regularly to show specific availability. I grew up with a dog (Toffee) and a cat (Noodle). On my profile, the first 6 photos are me with my dog (ranging from adulthood, and a picture of her as a puppy in the last of the 6 photos); the rest of the photos are me with my cat (also ranging from when he was a kitten - the first two photos, when I was much younger too! - to adulthood.) I’ve previously cared for a Weimaraner through regular house sitting, and I’ve worked with many rescue dogs including Frenchies and Spaniels. I’m confident with enrichment games, basic training support, and following any routines or rules you already use at home. I can also safely give medication to both cats and dogs. I’m a PhD student at Southampton, so my schedule is very flexible. I usually spend around three hours on campus during weekday working hours, but this is easy to work around your pet’s routine. Most of my work is laptop‑based, meaning I can often study from your home if needed and keep your pet company throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I can accommodate both regular weekly bookings and one‑off requests. I’m also happy to follow your dog or cat’s existing schedule—feeding, walks, medication, or training—so everything stays consistent and stress‑free for them. When caring for pets in your home, I keep their routine, environment, and comfort exactly as they’re used to. I follow all feeding schedules, walk lengths, training rules, and medication needs to maintain consistency and reduce stress. As a PhD student, I can spend plenty of time keeping your pet company with walks, play, enrichment, or calm downtime depending on what they enjoy. I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, and nervous or rescue pets, and I always go at their pace. I treat your home with respect and keep everything tidy, and I’m happy to send regular updates so you feel completely at ease while you’re away.

About: We have looked after many dogs including borrowmydoggy and dogs of our friends. We love outdoors and spending time in nature so if your doggie needs a good run let us know ! Peace loving ones welcome too, we can enjoy a relaxed time together :) Someone is always at home . We both have odd schedules but that’s not a problem because we can free our time when necessary if one needs to work longer Making sure he/she gets his walks and eats according to schedule + have water available all the time. Can wash him / her if necessary.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life ever since I was a young child. Monty was the most loving dog as a child, but my cat Jessy was a bit more independent (but loved a cuddle when it was on his terms!). I own two cockapoo's called Guinness and Murphy, very typical cockapoo's! Full of energy and extremely loving. I have a young child who Guinness adores! Very experienced with high energy dogs. I've had both my current dogs since they were puppies so very happy to do drop in visits to puppies :) I am currently working from home and currently have complete flexibility Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday's for drop in's and dog walking. Also available on the weekends with notice for house sitting, dog walks and drop in visits. If you would like me to visit your pet before caring for them please message me and we can arrange a visit beforehand. I have complex experience from my last dog who suffered with hip dysplasia, seizures and dietary needs, I managed most of his life untill he passed away wagging his tail. I am a care manager of 19 years so I am no stranger to caring, supporting basic life needs and responsibility. I am honest, transparent and I care. I used to use dog sitters myself and the levels of anxiety trusting a stranger is hard and with this comes levels of anxiety. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday as a care manager, I have weekends off so I will be able to give this time to your fur family members. My home boasts a large dog friendly living space and secure garden, with walks to either Southampton Common or St James Park (just 5mins away on foot) come rain or shine! ​As I work from home full-time in an administrative role, I am happy to offer consistent care and near-constant companionship seven days a week! Your dog gets maximum attention during the week (Monday–Thursday). (Please note that all walks and drop in visits are solo sessions with me) ​On Fridays and weekends, my three-year-old daughter is home, but please rest assured this won't compromise care. She was only 10 months old when Melo had her first litter and is very well-versed in dog boundaries. She is generally quite self-occupied with non-dog activities and is never left unsupervised around guests. We are generally homebodies, which means lots of company for your pup, but I may occasionally require flexibility on Friday/weekend bookings due to family outings. Our home is a large, safe space that's fully "dachshund-proofed". Our generously sized secure garden is a safe place for exercise and enrichment games. ​If your dog comes to us, he/she will be welcomed by our resident Miniature Dachshund, Mellow, who is calm, playful, and very well socialized.
