7. Yehuai W.
About: All animals seem to like me. Whether it's someone else's cat or a stray, they all tend to approach me. I take hygiene very seriously when it comes to dogs and cats, and I also dedicate time specifically to interact with them. I currently work from home and have a lot of time to spend with dogs and cats. I also have time to take them out for a walk. If it's for a short period, I prefer to provide care at their home, allowing them to stay in a familiar environment. If it exceeds five days, I would prefer to take care of them in my own home.

8. Secil Ece K.

“Secil looked after Bertie for a whole week during g the daytime. By the second day, Bertie got excited just getting in the car as he knew he was seeing Secil again. He loved every minute, Secil was very flexible for us with early starts and later pick ups. Thank you so very much for taking care of Bertie. We will definitely be back!!”

9. Lewis W.
“Lewis and his lovely family looked after our 3 year old cocker spaniel, Harry. We could not be more pleased with the care that was given to our boy and we will definitely be using Lewis again in the future. He listened to our instructions and sent us updates which gave us reassurance. Highly recommend.”

10. Pierre-Julien P.

“Our puppy Missy (15 weeks) stayed with Pierre-Julien on Friday. Pierre-Julien was friendly, cheerful and clearly has a wealth of knowledge about dogs. I know she will be in safe hands. I also know that Zaika will be a very positive influence on Missy. I would highly recommend PJ and I have already booked another day care with him.”

11. Joanna C.
“Jo has cared for our dogs whilst we are on holiday over a number of years - she is fantastic with them, follows their daily routine carefully and clearly loves spending time with them. We are always relaxed knowing that Ted and Mags are in great hands whilst we are away. Jo sends us daily photos of them and it is clear on our return that they are happy and have been really well cared for.”

12. Florence C.
“Florrie and James are experienced pet sitters because they just love animals! Not only did they both grow up with dogs and other furry friends, such as guinea pigs (plus goldfish), but they have also spent time volunteering in animal shelters in South America with monkeys, parrots and other indigenous species. I would fully recommend them.”

13. Dominic S.
About: I have had pets my entire life and I have worked at a dog boarding and spa for over a year. Working at VCA Petpoint has given me the skills and experience needed to take care of any type of pet (even a tortoise!). I have received multiple levels of training. I have also helped birth 3 litters and have trained puppies myself. I also have experienced with senior dogs and those with medical needs such as taking daily pills. I am currently studying Biology at the University of Southampton and am looking to master in animal behaviour. I can assure you with the upmost confidence that your pet will be in good hands if you choose to go with me! I’m currently a student but only have about 1-2 hours of lectures a day so I am very much able to keep a close eye of your pet throughout the day. I’ll be able to let them out regularly for toilet breaks as well as walk them as often as needed. Safety is my number one priority. I do not let dogs off their leash unless the owner has told me I can and only after I have built a strong enough bond with the dog that I can feel confident that it’ll respond to my commands. Whatever instructions are left by an owner is what I will follow. I do not allow dogs on sofas or beds and will normally let them sleep downstairs unless otherwise instructed. I live in a secure and safe part of Southampton with the Common right on my door step. I can guarantee that your pet will enjoy their time with me and that they will be treated as if they were one of my own (I do not have any pets in my university house in Southampton, just pets back home with my parents)

14. Neve L.
“Neve is a very caring & compassionate person who has a great empathy for animals & people. Neve was raised with dogs at home all through life & also cats at the neighbours too. Neve is a very calm person who can provide a therapeutic environment for any animal in Neve’s care. They will not be short of attention & affection as long as that is welcomed, however, Neve is intuitive enough to know when space & solitude is needed too & will allow time for new visitors to settle in at their own pace to allow complete feelings of safety & comfort for your loved pet.”

15. Emily F.

“Emily was very friendly and accommodating for teddy’s visit. She was also very flexible with drop off and pick up times which was helpful. She sent lots of photos from the day and it looked like Teddy has lots of fun with her elderly dog Jose.”

16. Veronica Z.

“Veronica helped us out last minute and was great. She was great with communication, sent regular updates and took very good care of our little boy! He came back exhausted and was even staring out the car window for her when my partner picked him up! Will definitely use her again ?”

17. Lauren B.
About: I’ve grown up having animals throughout my whole life! From terrapins to chickens to dogs to cats to horses! I love spending time outdoors with my 2 year old daughter and spend many weekends taking our family dogs and friends dogs out for lovely walks in the forest, common or along the beach. We are constantly searching for new lovely walks! I own a 2 bedroom apartment with a small fenced garden so all pets are welcome! The common is a 15 minute walk from my house and the forest is a 20 minute drive! Am hoping to eventually get our own dog next year but would love to help out with any animals! I currently work 3 days a week from home and my daughter is at nursery for those 3 days so this can be from anywhere and my work is flexible so am able to pop in and out when needed I have a small fenced grass garden area at my place and also drive so would be able to pick up or drop off if needed
