About: I’m a nurse working bank shifts alongside my passion for animal care. I’ve owned reactive dogs for many years, so I understand the importance of calm handling, patience, routine and being constantly aware of surroundings while out walking. Early 5am quiet walks, off-the-beaten-track trails and avoiding stressful situations for dogs are something I’m very used to. We are a family home with children, so any dogs staying with us would need to be comfortable around children and a normal family environment. I offer gentle, reliable pet care with daily beach walks, peaceful hikes and a focus on making every dog feel safe, relaxed and happy. No other animals in the home. We only have one boarding dog at a time unless dogs come from the same house hols. I will be sole care for the dog during its stay. 5:00am – Quiet early morning walk 6:00am – Breakfast and calm rest time 8:00am – Garden play, enrichment or sniff games 10:00am – Beach walk or quiet countryside hike 12:00pm – Rest and nap time in the home 2:00pm – Toilet break and gentle play 4:00pm – Short afternoon walk or enrichment activities 6:00pm – Dinner time 7:00pm – Family time, cuddles and settling for the evening 9:00pm – Final toilet break and bedtime Our home has a fully enclosed garden and is just a 5 minute walk from the beach, perfect for calm daily walks and outdoor time. We are a relaxed family home with children, so dogs staying with us would need to be comfortable in a family environment. Your dog would not be left alone for long periods and would be treated as part of the family, with plenty of company, care, exercise and quiet time to settle and relax.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for more than 15 years and have loved every minute of it. Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent many years looking after my own dogs and understand how important it is to keep them happy, safe and comfortable. I currently have two friendly dogs who are a big part of my family. Archie is 3 years old, and Lottie is the newest member of our family at just 1 year and 2 months old. They are both spayed and extremely friendly with other dogs. If your dog enjoys company, they’ll have two lovely playmates to spend the day with, whether that’s playing in the garden, going for walks, or simply relaxing together. Looking after Archie and Lottie has given me daily experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and making sure dogs feel safe, comfortable and loved. I understand that every dog has its own personality and routine, so I’ll always follow your instructions to help them feel at home. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone new, which is why I’ll care for them as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. During your dog’s stay, I’ll be at home with them, so they won’t be left alone. My own dogs are my priority every day, and I plan my routine around feeding times, walks, playtime and making sure they get the exercise they need. Living close to the beach and several lovely parks means I can take the dogs on enjoyable walks in different places, depending on their needs and your preferences. Because Archie and Lottie already have a regular routine, it’s easy to welcome another dog into our day. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, they’ll have two friendly playmates to spend the day with. There will be plenty of time for play, cuddles, rest and companionship, so they always feel loved and cared for. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can see how they’re getting on and have complete peace of mind while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always come first. Before every stay, I’ll ask about their routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, any medications, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. I’m also happy to arrange a meet and greet before booking. This gives you and your dog the chance to visit my home, meet me, Archie and Lottie, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before the stay. My home is clean, safe and dog friendly, and I always supervise dogs while they’re together to make sure everyone is happy and getting along. Archie and Lottie are both very friendly and enjoy meeting other dogs, but I’ll always introduce them calmly and at their own pace. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks and any special instructions. Dogs will always have fresh water, a comfortable place to rest, plenty of love and attention, and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. I’ll also send regular photos and videos, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I had a cat for 12 years and have a dog (cockapoo) who is 4 years old. I also have a cocker spaniel who is nearly 2 (he lives with my mum in a different property) I have such a massive love for all animals, especially dogs and am also a huge cat lover. I would love for nothing more than to help people out by doing something that I’ve always loved - caring for animals. Very skilled at caring for puppies/dogs, kittens/cats. Looking at my photos you can see my own dog Poppy the apricot Cockapoo, and a variety of other dogs that I am around quite frequently, as small as Dachshund or as big as a Doberman. I’m very flexible and will ensure all instructions or preferences from the owner are carried out. I think this is very important to ensure the pet is staying in the habits the owner would like. For example, not being allowed on beds if the owner is training the dog to not jump on beds. I am looking to provide services of dog walking, drop ins and overnight stays in the owners home. I can drive which makes me even more flexible, I can therefore drive pets to different walking destinations (only if the owner confirms this is okay - owner could provide a dog cage for the car if necessary). I will give my undivided attention to the pet and care for them as if they were my own. Overall I just love animals and would love to help people out! I work full time, but from home,!meaning I am able to come and look after your dog/cat during the week and be at home all day with them caring for them. I work from just a laptop so no set up required, just WiFi! In regards to dog walks I have an hour lunch and can do mornings or after work. I have had pets most of my life and know how important it is to make sure they are safe at all times. This mainly entails making sure they are in a safe environment e.g doors shut and keeping them in areas they are not able to just run out of.

I am at home all day and will walk your dog at least twice a day and it will be with me as I go about my chores. I have a large open plan kitchen dinner and a secure grassed garden ideal for dogs to play and relax in. All the settees have throw covers that are washed weekly a perfect pooch hotel! We have space for a crate downstairs or your dog can sleep in the bedroom in the crate or on their own bed. A good nights sleep for everyone.

About: Previously a dog groomer, I'm very confident with young and senior dogs and understand they all have their own quirks and personalities. I work from home 95% of the time and if I'm not here my partner is able to work from home. I have an in tact male French bulldog myself who is super friendly and always looking for new friends. We only house dogs from one household at a time I work from home 95% of the time and have a flexible work pattern. I go for walks with my French bulldog at the best times of the day depending on the weather and time of year. There is normally always someone at home during the week and we spend a lot of time at the weekends out on country walks Fenced garden, big house, pets allowed on the furniture and a french bulldog who is always happy to make some new friends and keep yours company

We live close to the beach, and your dog will enjoy regular walks, often twice a day, plus time in our secure enclosed garden. Walks can be on or off lead, depending on your dog’s recall and your wishes. I offer a caring, structured environment with plenty of attention and affection. Dogs aren’t allowed on the furniture, to help maintain consistency in our home. For the safety and comfort of all dogs in my care, I only accept neutered males and spayed females, and every booking starts with a meet and greet, to make sure we are the right fit. I’m at home full-time, so daycare and dog sitting fit easily into my everyday routine. About: I’ve looked after pets for 23 years, and animals have always been part of my everyday life. I live with Gizmo the pug, my permanent shadow who’s convinced my bed belongs to both of us and two cats who think they run the house. Because of that, I’m used to juggling different temperaments, routines, and a lot of personality. Friends, family, and neighbours have relied on me for walking, feeding, meds, bath time, and keeping their pets calm and comfortable. I notice the small things, keep a steady routine, and treat every dog as if they’re part of my own slightly chaotic, very loved little crew. I’m currently a SAHDM (if you know you know). I was made redundant in November so for the foreseeable my life is solely pet focussed I keep things steady, predictable, and low-stress. In my home, pets settle into a calm routine with regular walks, feeding times, and plenty of company. I have a large, secure garden for safe outdoor time, and Gizmo the pug usually acts as the welcoming committee. I manage introductions carefully so every animal feels comfortable. I supervise closely, keep spaces clean, and make sure each pet has its own quiet area to relax.

About: SJ's Sofa4Sighthounds is 5* licensed home boarding which began in March 2023 - providing all the home comforts, a safe garden for zoomies, human company and safe walkies. Please note you will have to complete forms and send proof that your dog is up to date with vaccinations. A trial sleepover before your holiday is an absolute must. I accept sighthounds... Greyhounds, Lurchers, Salukis, Whippets, Italian Greyhounds... you get the idea, those skinny sensitive beauties. Home boarding is my full time job. I have a licence with Gosport Council, insurance and I am doggy first aid trained. I don't take noisy dogs or dogs with separation anxiety so bad that I can't leave the room, as I have neighbours both sides. As per my licence requirement from my council, all dogs must have a trial sleepover before their longer stay. I provide: Tractive GPS tracker on your dog whilst in my care. Good sized back garden with high fences. Tall dog gates on doorways. Extra large K9 Comfort sofa dog beds (ultra comfortable and supportive). And XL fluffy donut beds. Secure and safe on lead walkies only. A whole lot of affection, patience and love.

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have personal experience caring for them. I currently have a chihuahua and have had a Bichon-Poodle mix (a Poochon ☺️) in the past for seven years, so I understand the energy levels and different needs of small-medium breeds. I know how important it is to make dogs feel safe, happy, and enriched, whether it’s a playful or calm walk. I’ll treat your dog like my own, making sure they’re comfortable and cared for every step of the way! I am currently taking a break from work to focus on creating a healthy work-life balance, this therefore gives me plenty of flexibility for dog care! I have the time to offer walks and quality care, whether it’s a regular routine or occasional walks when needed. I live in a flat and have a one year old chihuahua. My home is a calm and safe space and it’s lucky to have several large parks just a few minutes away, perfect for walks and playtime. There’s also a pet shop nearby so I can easily pick up anything needed.

About: Hello, I’m a part-time freelance Graphic Designer who works from home, but I very often find myself twiddling my thumbs during the day, so I have lots of spare time to care for your dogs! I’ve always been a huge lover of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I owned a very lovely, lively border collie, so have plenty of experience looking after and walking highly energetic and intelligent dogs that require lots of attention, play and exercise. I’ve also been part of another dog walking service for a few years and active on Rover for 5 years, so I have lots of experience looking after other people’s dogs and know how to make sure they are happy and at ease in a new and strange environment. I’m a very active and outdoor-loving person, so very happy to take dogs on long countryside walks as well as city strolls. I can be very flexible with bookings and hope to get in contact with owners on a long term basis. Hope to meet you and your pets soon! I work part time, so I have plenty of time to look after your pet, and love to take the time for a decent walk on the beach or in the woods so everyone gets lots of fresh air and exercise every day. I have a toddler in childcare three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday), so on these days I will need to factor in drop off and pick up. Otherwise my schedule is very flexible. I have a safe fenced garden with lots of plants and lawn for dogs to enjoy. My house is open plan so dogs will never feel shut off or left alone anywhere.

About: Grew up with a border collie (lots of long walks and training). I recently lost a Romanian Princess (rescue dog) and want to care for other people's beloved pets (cats and dogs) the way I took care of her. I'm working from home full time. This means I can visit in the morning, lunchtime and evening. Alternatively, I could work from your house (WiFi please). I live with my husband (a bigger live of pets than i) and my 2 year old son. My son is at nursery or other childcare during the week. For boarding or day care, your fur baby wouldn't see him during the weekday. However, he knows to "wave hello and give them some space", they are given separate spaces to eat and rest. I can walk your dog on lead or drive them to a safe location for them to be on or off lead. We could do a little training (commands or sniff). Cuddles as wanted by your pet (cat or dog). I find this question tricky because I care for your pets as they need. Each dog or cat are very different in their wants and needs. Due to childcare responsibilities, and to be fair to my partner, I can only house sit for 1 or 2 nights.

About: I have been a proud dog owner since I was young. I currently have two dogs a greyhound and a collie. Both enjoy long walks and regular exercise. I enjoy teaching them some cool tricks and we visit some lovely places such as the beach, woods and local parks.I have taken care of puppies right through to elderly dogs and have experience with challenging and reactive dogs. I work from home a lot and can accommodate around your needs. I spend a lot of time with my dogs and we have exercise everyday fitted into the daily routine I am happy to care for your pups with arrangement in advance. I can offer walks, feeds, daily checks, exercise, and overnight care- please note I offer a 15 min meet and greet at your home or locally if you are a new client to observe your pets where they are most comfortable and to discuss how you would like me to care for your pet and the duties you wish me to do. All dogs will be walked separately. I am flexible and can work from home a lot. I am able to offer short stays at present such as long weekends for day care or sitting depending on dates and preferences. Please bear in mind the house sitting hours schedule I currently work on is 8pm/9pm-8am/9am (distance dependent) and if you require an additional drop in visit/walk throughout the day time this will usually be mid/late afternoon for 30 minutes-1 hour before returning to your property in the evening to sit overnight. I do not offer 24/7 in the home during the day time when house sitting due to outside commitments but they will be exercised well and receive great interaction throughout. Please e sure this is the correct house sitting schedule for your pets before you book to avoid disappointment as I cannot guarantee I can remain in your home all day on a house sit without going out for a short while. Dependent on distance petrol/travel costs will be additional charge (usually 10 miles plus) I have a garden and have access to close by parks, beach and woodland areas. We often drive to the woods or hills if we want a longer walk. I have private sitter insurance. I work but can be flexible. I offer a lot more free time over weekends and half terms dependent on the needs of the dog. I do not offer home boarding at this time. I do enjoy offering house sitting in your home subject to dates and needs of the pet.
