“Felt really confident leaving our two cockerpoos with Keighley. She did a site visit first and found out all about the dogs and her communication was excellent throughout. She let us know when she arrived and kept us updated. Couldn’t be more pleased - an excellent and reliable pet sitter.”

“Michelle was so attentive and communicative as she looked after Theo. We received regular updates - all with Theo living his best life!! We felt safe leaving him in Michelle’s capable hands, and he seemed to absolutely love his time with her. Thanks so much Michelle”

About: What sets me apart is that I’m a dog owner myself, so I truly understand the care, patience, and consistency dogs need. I have a beagle of my own and hands-on experience working on training skills such as leash manners, basic commands, and reinforcing positive behaviours. Beagles can be curious, stubborn, and scent-driven, so I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need calm, patient guidance and extra attention on walks. I’m a caring, reliable sitter who treats every dog as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their individual needs, routines, and personalities—whether that’s supporting training, providing gentle care, or simply making sure they feel safe and happy. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule as I’m currently not working and have plenty of flexibility throughout the day. I’m home most of the time caring for my own dog and household, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, timely walks, and unrushed care. I enjoy having the time to focus on each pet’s needs and routines, making sure they feel comfortable, exercised, and well looked after. I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible, whether in my home or theirs. I take the time to learn each pet’s feeding schedule, walk preferences, and any special needs, and I provide plenty of attention, patience, and reassurance. I focus on creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel comfortable, well exercised, and cared for—just as they would be at home. I do not take other pets in my own home.
“Sally is so lovely with Cleo. She makes her feel really safe and assured when she is a bit uneasy about us going. Sally is such a great pet sitter and we are so pleased to have her looking after Cleo.”

About: I’ve taken care of a young cat aged 1 and a Rottweiler aged 11. Both at separate times and from a the shortest of 8 days. I have also owned my own pets including my cat aged 1 and a few German Shepard’s throughout childhood into adulthood. Currently unemployed meaning I am available fulltime to look after the pets that need to be cared for which is always a good thing for pet owners Nice big fenced off garden with currently no pets at the home. My cat stays with my ex gf mostly so the house is free of pets

About: I have had animals my whole life. I’ve pet sat for friends and family many times. All shapes and sizes from Rottweiler to sausage dogs. I have always been a caring loving person with my previous jobs being in childcare. I’ve looked after kittens from birth and supported my cat throughout end of life care. I’ve looked after a cat with diabetes that need daily insulin injected. I have been working at Chester’s dog walking company but have some free slots each week. I love walking dogs from all different background. I enjoy the pets visits providing stimulating play. I’m a mum of three Sen beautiful children and I fit my dog walking and pet sitting around them. My husband is flexible when I’m needed to do extra. I love my days with my dog and others at the beach park or woods. I also work at Chester’s dog walking with I love so much but I have few daily slots so can fill. I have a warm loving home with two cats my puppy and three rescued guinea pigs. I have a small but secure garden with lots of access to parks
“Michelle was fabulous the weekend looking after our 2 boys at our home !! She totally understood their ways and looked after them really well and kept me up to date until we got home”

About: Hi, I'm Kimberley! I've lived with cats ever since I was born which means I've grown up knowing how to care for them. I work as part of a civil service and my schedule is fairly flexible. I also have a valid DBS. My cat is called Eva and she's a 13 year old sassy tortie! I've had her since she was rescued as a kitten and my mum has her brother. In my spare time I love reading, crafts and journalling! I work full-time so my availability is mostly weekends when I am available to spend all day with your pet or drop-in visits on weekdays. Let me know what your pet needs and I can make it work! E.g. if your pet needs a certain amount of exercise, or sticking to a set routine, that's not a problem.
“Aliya and her partner Amir were the most wonderful sitters, very kind, patient and nothing was too much trouble. This was the first time I have left my two little dogs in the hands of sitters, as I always had my father, who has now passed away, look after them, so a little nervous but I really could not have wished for a couple as lovely as Aliya and Amir to take care of Bumble and Basil. I had regular updates and photos, they did not leave them at home alone at all during their 5 days and gave them regular walks. My home was also kept clean and tidy. would highly recommend either to anyone to look after their beloved pets.”

“We felt completely relaxed knowing our dog, Brew, was in good hands. Julie was easy to arrange with, communicated well before and during the stay, and was clearly very caring. Brew is already looking forward to having Julie come over again soon.”

About: Grew up with a border collie (lots of long walks and training). I recently lost a Romanian Princess (rescue dog) and want to care for other people's beloved pets (cats and dogs) the way I took care of her. I'm working from home full time. This means I can visit in the morning, lunchtime and evening. Alternatively, I could work from your house (WiFi please). I live with my husband (a bigger live of pets than i) and my 2 year old son. My son is at nursery or other childcare during the week. For boarding or day care, your fur baby wouldn't see him during the weekday. However, he knows to "wave hello and give them some space", they are given separate spaces to eat and rest. I can walk your dog on lead or drive them to a safe location for them to be on or off lead. We could do a little training (commands or sniff). Cuddles as wanted by your pet (cat or dog). I find this question tricky because I care for your pets as they need. Each dog or cat are very different in their wants and needs. Due to childcare responsibilities, and to be fair to my partner, I can only house sit for 1 or 2 nights.
“Samantha was a star 🌟 , she was amazing and my westies loved her , had updates and pictures throughout the day , and came back to 2 tired out dogs . Will definitely book Samantha again x”

“Daniel, was absolutely fantastic. He did three home visits to introduce himself to us and the two dogs, one’s a rescue so can be a challenge. Our boys were well looked after and their routine was kept exactly the same. Our dogs can be difficult to walk as they both pull and Wilf is reactive, both were walk without issue. Great communication throughout and lots of lovely updates/ pictures whilst we were away. We couldn’t recommend Daniel enough! Two happy dogs and two happy owners and one well looked after, clean tidy house. Thanks Daniel, we will be using you again 👍”

About: I have moved to Portsmouth from NZ and here for my husband's job. Unfortunately, we had to leave our dog Remy in NZ with family. He is a 5 year old schnauzer. I love animals, I'm reliable, friendly and great with small/medium sized dogs. Happy to help with regular walks or the occasional extra hand and dog sitting. As I work part-time, I make sure I’m not working on days I care for a dog, so they receive lots of attention and companionship. Your dog will join me for morning and evening walks. If I need to pop out for groceries or errands, your dog will be safely left in their crate. At night, they’ll sleep in their crate in my room, so they won’t be alone overnight — and I’ll be right nearby. I provide attentive and responsible pet care in my apartment. Dogs are always kept on a lead during walks, and I take them out for morning and evening walks to ensure they get enough exercise and fresh air. I follow the owner’s instructions closely to ensure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Since I miss having a dog around, I’ll happily soak up all the tail wags, walks, and puppy love your dog has to offer.
About: I am currently looking for a career change into something I love doing and that being with pets, I have had cats Dogs and Rabbits all my life I currently work from home full time, which gives me a great deal of flexibility. I’m able to organise my schedule around your requirements and adjust my availability whenever needed. “I have a good‑sized, fully fenced garden that provides plenty of safe, secure outdoor space, making it ideal for relaxation, play, or accommodating pets comfortably.”
“Kerry was great for dog sitting for us. Her communication was really good throughout and our dog looked like he had a lovely weekend with her - would definitely recommend!”

We are extremely pleased with the exceptional care Rob and Renee provided for Sasha in their home. The consistent updates offered significant reassurance regarding Sasha's well-being. Sasha's integration into their family environment was truly heartwarming, and her apparent comfort was evident. We will certainly consider utilizing their services again for Sasha's future stays. Thank you again for having her on such short notice and being so flexible to our times and dates.
