John explored far and wide with her and sent photos and videos of their exploits. We were in North America and the time difference meant we woke up to the updates and really looked forward to them. John took Inga to places he could safely let her off the lead and she responded very well. As a 10 month old puppy we'd had patchy success with recall training so far but John has done a lot in the last couple of weeks. John has also been able to advise about leads and harnesses to suit Inga who is very strong and determined when she chooses. We value his knowledge and experience and Inga and he clearly have a very strong bond.”

About: Hiya, my name is Catherine. I grew up with a gorgeous nova scotia duck tolling retriever called Purdy. We got her when I was 7/8. I loved growing up with a dog and helping with walking, playing and training. I was with Purdy when she was a playful puppy to a sassy dog and then when she sadly passed away. My parents now have another toller who is 1 years old, it’s been amazing to experience the puppy phase again. I am currently working a zero hour contact as a bank registered nurse within the NHS. I can set up my pet care rota first and fit my NHS work around this. I am looking to care for pets in their owners home as my current home is not set up for dogs unfortunately. I am comfortable taking dogs on walks around surrounding areas around peoples homes.

About: Before I moved onto public apps, I have had a lot of experience with looking after pets whether it's my own or a family members or a friend's. I've looked after my aunt's dog for long weekends staying over at her house, walking twice a day and playing in the garden. I've spent a couple of weeks travelling to a friend's house to look after and walk their dog for the afternoon whilst they are at work. Molly is a high maintenance cockerpoo and it's always a fun time with her. We go for hour long walks or adapt accordingly by playing inside whilst the weather has been too hot to take her out during the day. Our family own a rescued Saluki who has behavior issues and I am sometimes left with him on my own. I have easily picked up on how to look after him properly and give him the love, care and attention he needs. I currently have a part-time job every Sunday between 10 and 4. Throughout the week, I only have one evening commitment which is my volunteering for my local Brownie unit. During University term time, I am unavailable Mondays, Fridays and Thursday mornings. During holidays, my weekdays are flexible. Due to my family's situation with our dogs behavioural issues, I am unfortunately unable to provide services at my own home. However, when I travel to other homes to care for pets, I always make sure we spend time playing together either inside or outside, feed and go for a walks. I am happy to administer medication orally and if a vet is required I can drive them to your vet. Please leave full details of your vet and any insurance plan you have. Dogs with separation anxiety need a lot of extra care and attention and I can talk with you at a meeting beforehand to discuss the best ways to calm your dog so they are at ease in their own home with someone they don't know. For your dog's safety, I always do leads on a walk.

Caroline was very diligent, meeting us and the dogs at home twice before we went away. She requested detailed notes on each dog which was reassuring. She looked after our three very well,including one if mine that takes a lot of meds, and one other that had just been signed off the day before by the vets following an operation. Caroline also managed one of my terriers that can be frightened/nervous/slightly reactive to strangers very well and he was settled with her by the first evening. Caroline didnt walk my dogs (at my request as they are all rescues and can be reactive - we used my normal walkers) but I know she would have done if they had been easier dogs. The house was tidy upon our return and the dogs well and happy. I did receive a number of messages whilst I was away from Caroline but again that was at my request to ensure Caroline had all she needed. She managed a temperamental boiler and a power cut with a little guidance from us! She also kept me up to date with how the dogs were doing - which again, she checked that it was what I wanted before I went away. In summary, a thorough and diligent sitter. If you are someone that likes to stay in touch with the sitter whilst you are away then I would recommend Caroline.
I will definitely be using Daniel again, his care for animals is evident. I had been sceptical about hiring a sitter that I didn't already know, but he put us at ease from the first meet and greet. He cared for our senior staffy extremely well, ensuring all her medications were given on time, keeping her routines as normal as possible, and giving her lots of love.
Nur house sat for my two sphynx cats which are a notoriously needy breed. Whilst I was away I got plenty of updates, super quick responses, and pictures of them both looking comfortable and happy, and I returned home to two very peaceful boys who had made a new friend 🤣 Nur left the house spotless and I would recommend her to anybody who is anxious about leaving their cats overnight. I look forward to rebooking her in the future, as do my two boys who appear to miss her already!
Hilary is 5⭐️ and has looked after Lenny numerous times now. He has the time of his life going on daily adventures to new places and even learning to paddle board. He actually looked sad when Hilary was leaving yesterday after we’d got home! Hilary is great with his “quirks” and nothing seems to phase her
We came back to a super happy puppy after our long weekend all thanks to Kirsty. She sent us regular updates and put our minds at ease from the get go so we knew he was in safe hands. Kirsty made everything super simple and left everything spotless - the perfect houseguest. We will definitely use Kirsty again!
Melissa looked after our puppy for an afternoon and long evening and I honestly can’t recommend Melissa enough! Our puppy is in the nippy chewing stage and Melissa was excellent at dealing with that, she took on board our instructions to deal with it and had such a calm attitude. Will definitely be using Melissa again.
Loz was calm, patient, and very understanding with both Jerry and Cuddles. They were a little nervous initially, but she handled them really well and they settled in quickly. It was lovely to receive updates, and both of them looked comfortable throughout their stay. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. We’d be very happy to leave them with Loz again and would highly recommend her.
Amber was an amazing sitter for our two spaniels. They went on some lovely walks and we were updated throughout the sit. She sat at our house and you could see she showed it the most respect. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amber enough and will most certainly use her services again in the future.
Milo stayed with Martin and his housemates, for 24hrs, at short notice. Martin was happy to squeeze in a quick meet and greet before the stay and even offered to drop Milo back to us, after his stay was finished. I received regular updates and Milo came back very happy.. Probably from all of the attention he was getting! I wouldn't hesitate in letting Martin look after Milo again and would recommend his services to anyone looking for care for their dog.
