About: I’ve been around pets of all ages, and have loved looking after each and every one of them. I’ve raised and trained my own dog, and I have learnt the patience and kindness that is needed for pets from first hand experience. I’m currently off from Uni, so I’m able to dedicate my time fully to pet care, taking them on walks, and giving them all the love they need. I have a fenced garden, with lots of grass, and a 7 year old Black Lab that goes along with it, that loves company! There’s a separate room where they would get fed, and space for any beds or crates.

About: I’m here to give your pet 10/10 care - I will do everything to make sure your pet is made to feel calm, welcome, and relaxed whilst ensuring they have a playful and fun time too. I have two miniature dachshunds - Rolo (3.5 years) & Cooper (1 year). They are friendly, cuddly and love to be around other dogs. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac with a fenced garden. I can offer toilet breaks every 2 hours and there are 2 nearby parks for regular walks and fresh air (3 mins and 6 mins away). I will pay attention to dietary needs and can give tablet medication if required. Treats are provided (if allowed!) and we have plenty of toys for them to play with. When the dogs sleep, I play Smooth Chill radio on the Alexa to make them feel more relaxed and settled. Book with me today and you can be reassured your pet will have a happy stay! I work from home 2-3 days a week (days vary, but I will keep my calendar up to date so availability will be as accurate as possible). My job is very laid back with very few calls so I can give my attention to your pet when they are with me at home. *** I will not leave your dog alone - I will only accept bookings on my work from home / annual leave days and weekends when I am here to give them my full care and attention **** We have a fenced garden for plenty of toilet breaks, playtime, sunbathing (in good weather!), they can relax in the garden with me, where there is plenty of shade (we are in a dip so it stays very cool) and in colder weather they can stay warm inside - my dogs love to soak up the warmth from a tower heater whilst snoozing. About: Friends, family and neighbours have relied on me to look after their dogs when they are away or walk them when they are unable to. As a university student with a part-time zero-hour contract, my schedule offers a good level of flexibility. My availability can vary week to week, but I’ll always be clear and communicative about this and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. I’m happy to discuss dates and work around your pet’s routine where possible! I believe pets are happiest when their routine is maintained, so I will always try to provide care that feels familiar to them. In a pet owner’s home, I’ll stick closely to their usual routine for feeding, walks, exercise, play and any other care needs. Whether your pet loves company and cuddles or prefers a quieter approach, I’ll adapt to what makes them feel safest and happiest.

“Inga seemed really sad on the day of our departure on a long planned trip but was overjoyed when John arrived, which eased our anxieties a great deal. John explored far and wide with her and sent photos and videos of their exploits. We were in North America and the time difference meant we woke up to the updates and really looked forward to them. John took Inga to places he could safely let her off the lead and she responded very well. As a 10 month old puppy we'd had patchy success with recall training so far but John has done a lot in the last couple of weeks. John has also been able to advise about leads and harnesses to suit Inga who is very strong and determined when she chooses.
