“We are ‘parents’ to a very anxious sausage dog with severe separation anxiety and were quite anxious ourselves about finding a good match to care for him whilst we were away overseas with my parents for two weeks over Christmas. We had never left him with anyone but family before. After months of searching, we thought we had found someone who would work but were let down at the last minute and were feeling pretty desperate. Imogen was an answer to our prayers! We felt comfortable with Imogen from the first meeting and Winston even warmed to her right away which is very unusual. She kept in touch with daily photos, videos and messages that made us smile and assured us amid our own ‘separation anxiety’. It was clear Winston’s we’ll being was her first priority. Our pup doesn’t take to people easily but he was kissing her hand when she left. Imogen left our house very tidy and clean as well, so we could immediately relax after a long couple of flights. We can’t recommend her highly enough and hope Winston can spend time with his new favourite person again sometime soon.”

She’s also a lovely person and it was so lovely chatting with her the last time I had her looking after my cats. The cats were very comfortable with her too, which put me at ease. She helped me out at very short notice as I didn’t want to leave one of my cats on his own during the cremation of my other cat. Very grateful. Thank you.”

“Keighley did a fantastic job looking after our 2 dogs whilst on our week long holiday. She came round to meet our two dogs before the holiday to make sure our two dogs liked her and to start knowing their routine. Keighley asked lots of questions to male sure she got it right which we really liked! Keighley kept us updated with photos of our dogs throughout the holiday and letting us know what they’d been up to. Once we got back, the house was in tip top shape and she left it really clean and tidy. Keighley also left us all a treat as a thank you which was lovely. We will definitely be using Keighley again in the future!”

About: Hello 👋 I have over 10 years of experience of looking after both cats and dogs, with dogs of all breeds and sizes, ranging from border terriers to rottweilers. I am well equipped and prepared for any canine care! I have always had my own dogs, but currently I live in an animal free home. I am also feline & canine first aid trained. We live near the south downs national park, so are close to lots of walking routes. We also enjoy summer evening walks around the golf course and runs along the itchen river. I work from home, so I am here to keep your dogs company and/or take them out, make sure they have all the toilet breaks and attention that they need very flexibly on a daily basis. “Over the last few days John and Inga have had such adventures! This is the second planned sit before a longer stint in September and the first time we had left Inga overnight. From our very first meeting with John we knew Inga had taken to him. Although I knew she would have a wonderful time I was sad to be leaving her at all, but John was very reassuring. The photos and videos of their walks that John shared throughout the weekend showed us that Inga was thriving so, although we were missing her, we knew she was happy and healthy and enjoying exciting new experiences. John knows all sorts of interesting walks and showed us on a map so we can explore them too - we know we need to up our walking game now! Thank you, John, for caring for Inga so well.”

About: Before I moved onto public apps, I have had a lot of experience with looking after pets whether it's my own or a family members or a friend's. I've looked after my aunt's dog for long weekends staying over at her house, walking twice a day and playing in the garden. I've spent a couple of weeks travelling to a friend's house to look after and walk their dog for the afternoon whilst they are at work. Molly is a high maintenance cockerpoo and it's always a fun time with her. We go for hour long walks or adapt accordingly by playing inside whilst the weather has been too hot to take her out during the day. Our family own a rescued Saluki who has behavior issues and I am sometimes left with him on my own. I have easily picked up on how to look after him properly and give him the love, care and attention he needs. I currently have a part-time job every Sunday between 10 and 4. Throughout the week, I only have one evening commitment which is my volunteering for my local Brownie unit. During University term time, I am unavailable Mondays, Fridays and Thursday mornings. During holidays, my weekdays are flexible. Due to my family's situation with our dogs behavioural issues, I am unfortunately unable to provide services at my own home. However, when I travel to other homes to care for pets, I always make sure we spend time playing together either inside or outside, feed and go for a walks. I am happy to administer medication orally and if a vet is required I can drive them to your vet. Please leave full details of your vet and any insurance plan you have. Dogs with separation anxiety need a lot of extra care and attention and I can talk with you at a meeting beforehand to discuss the best ways to calm your dog so they are at ease in their own home with someone they don't know. For your dog's safety, I always do leads on a walk.

About: I have studied Level 3 Animal Management for the past 2 years at Sparsholt College and in June 2022 I earned my Advanced Technical Extended Diploma graded at Distinction*Distinction*Distinction. Throughout my 2 years on the course I developed a wide range of knowledge on animal care covering topics such as animal behaviour and animal welfare as well as practical experience with handling a range of different species. I also have my own rescue dog, Frankie, who I adopted back in April 2021 when she was just over a year old from Italy where she used to live as a stray. Now, nearly 2 years on, she is almost 3 years old and through the journey of helping adjust to life as a pet I've learnt so much about dog care and behaviour. I also volunteer at Second Chance Animal Rescue where I help with caring for the dogs by feeding them and cleaning out their kennel. I have also done pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family since I was 12. I have cared for a range of animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs and rabbits which I was responsible for walking, feeding, cleaning and spending time with them I currently work part time on the weekends meaning I have plenty of spare time throughout the week to spend dog walking and pet sitting! I am flexible with times, I can anytime from early morning to late evening. I can also do one off walks/pet sitting or do it on a regular basis. Just let me know what you need ! I know how important pets are to us and that their safety is top priority. Some safety measures include: -Closely following all pet care instructions provided. -On dog walks, only letting the dog off lead if recall is 100%. I currently don't offer any services in my own home.
