About: Hi, I’m Sophie! My partner George and I recently bought our first home in Eastleigh, and we’re both huge dog lovers. While our work commitments mean we can’t have a dog of our own right now, we’d love to help others by providing caring and reliable dog walking and sitting services. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from a Border Collie to a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix, and now a lovely litte Poochon. I’m very used to grooming needs and making sure coats are well cared for. I also regularly help care for family dogs, including Labradors, so I’m confident with both small and large breeds. Having experienced every stage of a dog’s life, I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies as well as giving extra patience, attention, and love to older dogs. I work full-time across four days a week, which means I’m fully available on Tuesdays and weekends. On my days off, your dog will have my full attention. I’ll always stick to your routine and make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s during a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay. I’m happy to provide as many walks as your dog needs, along with plenty of playtime and attention. They’ll also have access to a secure garden and a safe, dog-friendly home environment. I have a fully fenced, secure garden and plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. I’m also happy to take dogs out in the car for longer walks or new environments if they enjoy that. I always aim to follow your preferences and routine to make sure you feel completely comfortable. My home does have stairs, but these can be safely blocked off if needed. Dogs are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. You’re very welcome to bring their bed, crate, blankets, or anything familiar from home. If your dog is used to cuddling up on the sofa, they’ll be more than welcome to do the same here!

They went above and beyond, taking the time to get to know her personality - her likes, dislikes, and her favourite routine. They managed everything with a genuine affection for her. It was such a comfort to know she was in such capable, caring hands while we were away. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi I'm a Mum of two and the proud cat mummy of Huxley - our gorgeous Ragdoll, who is the centre of our family. I understand how important routine, care and affection is for cats. “Thank you Hillary for looking after Ash. Ash is a very anxious cat and I trust he has been very happy having you looking after him. We came back home to a happy healthy cat x”

“Jasmine has been amazing in taking care of my very timid cat. I was nervous about leaving him with someone new, but she took wonderful care of him. To my surprise, he warmed up to her to even allow pets and was purring a lot during their interactions, which says everything about how comfortable he felt. All of his daily needs were taken care of exactly as requested, and he looked far less stressed than I had expected. She also respected all my preferences regarding how the house should be left after each visit, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the care and attention my cat received. Highly recommended!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience and calm, capable approach to pet care. Having owned cats for over 40 years, including specialist breeds, I understand how important it is to recognise subtle changes in behaviour, appetite, or mood — especially when a cat isn’t feeling their best. I’m experienced in administering worming and flea treatments and am comfortable giving medication when required. I understand that some pets can be sensitive or anxious during treatment, so I always work gently, patiently, and at their pace to keep stress to a minimum. I’m also attentive to hygiene and comfort — from keeping litter trays fresh and thoroughly cleaned to ensuring feeding areas and bedding are spotless and cosy. Above all, I treat every pet as a family member. Their wellbeing, safety, and happiness are always my priority, and I provide the same level of care and attention that I give to my own cats.
“Jane was absolutely lovely, she put my mind at ease knowing my babies were in safe hands! Would highly recommend, she has lots of pets herself so knows exactly what she is doing. The pictures and updates were so appreciated. Will definitely use Jane again!”

I will definitely continue to contact her whenever I need someone to look after Elvie!”

About: I have grown up caring for both cats and dogs at the same time and seperately. I have also looked after cats for neighbours while they were abroad, as well as caring for family pets when needed, so I understand the importance of trust, routine, and maintaining a calm environment while you are away. I am confident caring for cats with different temperaments, from playful and social to more independent or shy. I am experienced with both indoor cats who use litter trays and outdoor cats with established routines. I will always follow your preferences closely, including whether your cat should be kept indoors or allowed outside, and if you would like them to be called in at certain times such as overnight. Your cat’s comfort and wellbeing will always be my priority, and I will ensure they feel safe, settled, and well cared for in your absence.

About: Hi, I’m Daniel — a compassionate and reliable pet sitter based in Southampton. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats and small pets, and they’ve always been a huge source of joy for me. There’s something special about being around animals and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. I’ve looked after pets for friends, family and colleagues, including dogs, cats and rabbits. Whether it’s an energetic dog who needs a good walk, a nervous pet who needs patience, or a senior animal who needs a gentler approach, I adapt to each pet’s personality and needs. I’m naturally calm, attentive and caring, but also playful when the situation calls for it. I genuinely love what I do, and nothing beats seeing a pet relaxed, happy and thriving in my care. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine as I work from home most of the week, which gives me good flexibility during the day. I’m typically available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends, and I’m able to plan my schedule around visits, walks or check-ins to make sure pets get consistent care and attention. Because of this flexibility, I can also adapt to different routines, whether that’s morning visits, evening care, or multiple check-ins throughout the day. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always prioritise keeping their routine and environment as familiar and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow all instructions provided, from feeding and walks to any specific behaviours or needs, and I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure in their own space. I’m respectful of the home, keep everything clean and tidy, and ensure doors, gates and any safety measures are properly managed at all times. I stay attentive to each pet’s behaviour and wellbeing, and I’m always prepared to respond calmly if anything unexpected arises. I also keep owners updated regularly, so they can feel confident their pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I’ve been around pets of all ages, and have loved looking after each and every one of them. I’ve raised and trained my own dog, and I have learnt the patience and kindness that is needed for pets from first hand experience. I’m currently off from Uni, so I’m able to dedicate my time fully to pet care, taking them on walks, and giving them all the love they need. I have a fenced garden, with lots of grass, and a 7 year old Black Lab that goes along with it, that loves company! There’s a separate room where they would get fed, and space for any beds or crates.
“Biscuit loved Molly as soon as he met her and you can tell that Molly has lots of experience with dogs! Molly kept us posted with lots of photos and Biscuit was really happy and relaxed when I got home. I would definitely recommend Molly to anyone!”

About: I have grown up around animals all my life. My family home was also home to 3 cats, a dog, 4 guinea pigs and a little rabbit. Since moving to out, I have not been able to have animals of my own and a place in my heart is feeling unfulfilled. My practical experience includes attending behavioural training sessions for dogs, consistent walking of neighbours/ friends/ families dogs and as an active hiking I have great knowledge of suitable routes adaptable to the ability of your dog. Along with my practical skills as a dog walker I have many transferable skills from work-based settings such as my professionalism, reliability and organisation. I am adaptable to be able to suit your needs. I am currently out of work for the summer, therefore I am flexible to fit around your schedule. I have just finished my degree and therefore have a lot of time of my hands before post-grad work begins. I live in a village close to the countryside with many quiet and safe walks for dogs with all kinds of needs. I also can drive and therefore I am flexible with distances/ preferences of places or spaces you want you pet to be walked.

I am fully flexible at weekends I have a fenced garden with a young German shepherd pup. He is crate trained and has plenty of garden space to run around. We do a lot of enrichment and training throughout the day to work his brain, making walks a bonus to burn off a little energy

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for pups at every stage of life — from boisterous puppies to gentle senior companions. I co-parent Albus, my cheeky and affectionate French Bulldog(my availability is based on when Albus is NOT with me, and staying at his Dad’s house), and before him shared life with Bobby, my much-loved Labrador who I cared for through his golden years until he crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023. My background as a registered nurse means I bring patience, reliability, and a calm, caring approach to every dog I look after. I’m confident supporting dogs with different needs, whether it’s keeping up with playful pups, providing extra TLC for seniors, or making sure routines are followed to the letter. Above all, I treat every dog as if they were my own — with plenty of cuddles, walks, and care. I work from home, which means I can give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day. Having a furry companion is the perfect excuse to step away from my desk for regular walks, playtime, and cuddles. I’m flexible with timings and can easily fit in potty breaks, feeding, and exercise to match your dog’s usual routine — and with Mondays off, I can offer even more quality time and longer adventures to start the week. In my home, your dog will be treated like part of the family. I create a safe, comfortable space with plenty of snuggly spots to rest, fresh water always available, and secure doors and garden access so they can explore safely. I keep to each dog’s usual feeding and walking routine to help them feel at home, and I’m always nearby to supervise playtime and make sure they’re happy and relaxed. Because I work from home (and have Mondays off), your dog will have company most of the day — whether that’s curled up at my feet while I work or out enjoying walks together.
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life, caring for a wide range of breeds, from Labradors and German Shepherds to Mastiffs, Dogue de Bordeaux, and Staffie crosses. I have owned both male and female dogs and have experience managing multiple dogs at once, including caring for three female dogs together, balancing their individual needs, routines, and personalities while ensuring a calm and structured environment. I currently have a male French Bulldog puppy, Bugs, with my partner. Together, we have enjoyed plenty of adventures such as beaches, woodlands, and botanical gardens, while also focusing on training, including basic commands, potty training, and crate training. I am more than happy to support your dog or puppy with training routines to keep things consistent. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, including small breeds, puppies, senior dogs, and large breeds over 50kg. Because of this, I am confident in reading dog behaviour and body language, allowing me to tailor care to each dog’s personality and comfort level. I always prioritise a stress free environment and can choose quieter walking routes if your dog prefers to avoid social interactions. I also have experience administering medication, including caring for my own dog during gastroenteritis, so I am comfortable supporting dogs with additional care needs. I have access to my own car, which allows me to be flexible for transport, emergencies, or last minute bookings when available. Please let me know about your dog’s temperament, any reactivity to other dogs, or any special requirements during booking. I am happy to accommodate and ensure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. I currently work part time, usually Mondays and Tuesdays, which gives me flexibility throughout the rest of the week. I am available for walks and drop ins around five days a week and can often accommodate different times. I always aim to be as flexible as possible, so please feel free to message me to discuss your needs and I will do my best to accomodate this (can possibly swap days at work if I am able to). Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a large garden that is fenced at the back and sides, and I always supervise dogs closely when outside. I currently have a young puppy at home, so I am very mindful of creating a calm and controlled environment, with careful introductions depending on your pets temperament. I am experienced in reading pet behaviour and will always ensure your pet feels safe and at ease. For dogs: I can provide crate support if needed and will follow your dog’s routine closely to keep them relaxed and well cared for.

About: I have my cockapoo Honey at home with me - she suffers from seperation anxiety so I can completely understand the importance of providing you with regular pupdates and lots of pictures to keep your mind at ease. It is quite possible that my Honey may not be at home with me during the period of your booking so please advise if it is a furry companion you prefer for your fur baby. Day care options available in my home in Bishops Waltham. I live less than 5 minutes from Marwell Zoo - a great opportunity for you to have a family day out and ensure your pet gets a fabulous day out too! Aside from Honey, I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. My dad currently has 3 St Bernards so dribble and fluff are the least of my worries. I do also offer day care in your own home if you or your pup are not comfortable with being in new or unknown surroundings - this would need to be booked under house sitting. Drop me a message and i'll always be happy to see if i can help! Pictures can be seen on the 📸 maedaydoggycare I work from home so if you need dog sitting during the week it’s fairly easy for me to set up shop inside your home and still pay your fur baby all the attention they desire. Due to the flexibility of my work I am able to provide adoring attention and meet requirements for exercise and play as well as training. Although I may live in an apartment, I have an enclosed dog paddock less than 5 minutes walk away and some incredible countryside walks to explore. Dogs in my care will be let out at as often as required and for as long as required.

“This was the second time Mea and John looked after our sausage dog Frank while we were away, and once again they were absolutely brilliant. They were incredibly kind and even offered us a pick-up, which made everything so much easier. This time around, Frank had a few issues settling down to sleep, but Mea and John were so understanding and patient with him. They kept us constantly updated with messages and lovely photos, which gave us real peace of mind. Genuinely lovely people who go above and beyond, highly recommended!”

“Eleanor and Raymond took such wonderful care of Lucy and all her little quirks.

“Kelly and family were wonderful dog sitters! Rupert had a fantastic time playing with the boys and was a very happy and content doggy when we picked him up! Would 100% recommend Kelly to others and we will certainly love Rupert to stay again in the future!”

“Jo was really great, would highly recommend and ask her to look after Carlos again. You can tell she really cared and went the extra mile to make sure he settled in well and got on with her two lovely dogs! This makes it really reassuring when I haven’t left him much before and also loads of pictures to keep me updated!!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives and we’ve both grown up around them. We regularly care for dogs for family and friends and have experience with a range of breeds, ages, sizes and personalities, including rescue dogs who may need extra patience, reassurance and individual care. Pet care fits naturally into our routine as I work from home Monday–Thursday, my toddler attends nursery during the day, and my husband works evenings, meaning dogs will have plenty of company, supervision, walks, playtime and cuddles throughout the day in a calm, loving family home environment. We live in a detached family home with a secure, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely play and explore. We also have our friendly Cavachon, Theo, who loves other dogs, enjoys walks, naps and playtime, and is very gentle and sociable. Dogs staying with us would be treated as part of the family, with plenty of supervision, affection, exercise and care tailored to their individual needs in a calm, safe and loving environment.
“Jess was fabulous with our dog, friendly and confident, making her first visit very easy and reassuring. Will definitely use again! jennie has a great time and was very happy to be there.”

“Billy and Molly were well looked after by Clare for their one night stay. They had all the comforts of home and enjoyed a lovely walk during the day. Clare sent photos and updates during their stay. They are having a longer stay later in the year and I will be more than happy to leave them anytime with Clare.”

“Mabel recently stayed with Joanne and her family. I sent her packing (a little nervous due to it being my first rover) and with a million warnings about what she MIGHT do! 🤣 Turns out Mabel was an absolute dream so they must have been brilliant at looking after her. I had regular updates and pictures. Timings were sorted out easily and we kept in touch via Whatsapp. Joanne has a really secure garden - which made me feel so much more comfortable leaving her there. It felt like a home from home setting. I have two children of my own and Joanne's two seemed to love her as much as her own. They were super excited to have her. She was allowed upstairs and just slipped into their family life. She had plenty of walks and was fed well. I wouldn't hesitate at using Jo again! Thanks guys! 🐾🐾”
