While our work commitments mean we can’t have a dog of our own right now, we’d love to help others by providing caring and reliable dog walking and sitting services. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from a Border Collie to a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix, and now a lovely litte Poochon. I’m very used to grooming needs and making sure coats are well cared for. I work full-time across four days a week, which means I’m fully available on Tuesdays and weekends. On my days off, your dog will have my full attention. I’ll always stick to your routine and make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s during a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay. I’m happy to provide as many walks as your dog needs, along with plenty of playtime and attention. They’ll also have access to a secure garden and a safe, dog-friendly home environment. I have a fully fenced, secure garden and plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. I’m also happy to take dogs out in the car for longer walks or new environments if they enjoy that. I always aim to follow your preferences and routine to make sure you feel completely comfortable. My home does have stairs, but these can be safely blocked off if needed. Dogs are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. You’re very welcome to bring their bed, crate, blankets, or anything familiar from home. If your dog is used to cuddling up on the sofa, they’ll be more than welcome to do the same here!

About: My partner Jacob and I have both had dogs all our lives. We have had Staffies, boxers, spaniels, cross breeds. You name it! We love dogs. We also love and really advocate for dog training knowledge. We are very safe and responsible dog owners and know a lot about dog body language and behaviour. We will always make sure our day revolves around the dogs! They’ll get plenty of exercise, but we love to play with the dogs too - if they want it! Whether that’s a game of chase, tug, or find it. We love to mentally stimulate dogs as it’s so good for their brain. We love a game of hide and seek. Me and my partner work full time but both have the luxury to work from home. I do 2 days a week and my partner can work from home whenever. My work is very flexible and I live a 10 minute walk (1 minute drive) from my office so can attend to the dogs whenever. I am out in the morning for my exercise and my partner does his in the evening, so one of us is always home with the dog! We love to get out steps in before work and after too, so we always get out with the dogs. We have concrete fenced garden with a secure gate. We have doors inside the house that if we open the front door, we ensure the dogs are kept behind a closed door so they cannot get out. We make sure the dogs have everything they need and easy access. We are very tidy and don’t leave mess around or anything for dogs to chew on etc.

About: I would love to look after your dog, I live in a fun loving family home with our dog Shelby. I have owned dogs since I was a small child and trained them from puppies. All my immediate family own dogs. When looking after your dog I will take them for two at least one hour walks per day. I have a responsible attitude towards caring for your pet and am not scared to get stuck in. I will ensure there is a safe environment for your pet and make it feel welcome and at home in my house. I’m currently working from home studying so I have plenty of time to play with and walk your dogs. This means I’m around all day so your pets will not be left on their own. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets as if they were their own. Growing up, my family always had 2-3 dogs in the house, so I’m very comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds, including Vizslas, Spaniels, Dachshunds, Hounds, Poodles, Labradors, Great Danes, Bichons, and many mixed breeds, all with different temperaments and needs. I also grew up with 2 cats in the home, and I feel very comfortable caring for cats as well! I also have a car, so if you are happy for me to do so, I can take your dog to nearby parks or open spaces for a change of scenery and extra exercise. I live less than 5 minutes from Marwell Zoo - a great opportunity for you to have a family day out and ensure your pet gets a fabulous day out too! Aside from Honey, I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. My dad currently has 3 St Bernards so dribble and fluff are the least of my worries. I do also offer day care in your own home if you or your pup are not comfortable with being in new or unknown surroundings - this would need to be booked under house sitting. Timings were sorted out easily and we kept in touch via Whatsapp. Joanne has a really secure garden - which made me feel so much more comfortable leaving her there. It felt like a home from home setting. I have two children of my own and Joanne's two seemed to love her as much as her own. They were super excited to have her.
