About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby. My nan cared for retired guide dogs for around 20 years, so I developed a strong love and adoration for dogs. My family has owned 2 dogs since I was a child, sadly our last dog passed away 2 years ago and my family and I have felt like a part of us has been missing ever since. No dog could replace our sweet Lionel, he was the most special dog ever, but I decided to start up a dog boarding business as a way to still surround us with dogs. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs many times as favours before I started my business and that’s what really pushed me to have the confidence to do this as a job. If you choose to have me as your dog boarder, you can be assured that your dog will be treated like family and will be given so much love and care. I am available everyday of the week as this is my sole job. I do volunteer most mornings of the week, however I live in a house of 6 people so it is very rare that no one is home. I am fully licensed by Southampton City Council, so my house and garden have been completely approved and catered to suit dog boarding. I also have a Canine First Aid certification, full insurance and DBS checked.

I have a fully fenced, secure garden and plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. I’m also happy to take dogs out in the car for longer walks or new environments if they enjoy that. I always aim to follow your preferences and routine to make sure you feel completely comfortable. My home does have stairs, but these can be safely blocked off if needed. Dogs are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. You’re very welcome to bring their bed, crate, blankets, or anything familiar from home. “We left our nine-month staffy Islay overnight with Jo and she had a fantastic time. I was a bit nervous to leave her but Jo was incredibly kind. A few days beforehand she met us for a walk to see how Islay is getting on with everyone. Islay absolutely adored staying overnight with Jo’s family and her dog. She had a blast playing and getting all the attention. They even included Islay in their weekend plans and she spent loads of time outdoors with the whole family. I received regular updates from Jo and I felt so relaxed knowing she was happy and enjoying herself. I’ll definitely be leaving Islay with Jo again in the future. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always been comfortable caring for them, from daily walks to understanding their individual personalities and needs. I have a friendly 2-year-old cockapoo called Lucho who absolutely loves the company of other dogs - he’s gentle, non-aggressive, and always eager to play, making him a great companion for visiting pups. He makes the shiest dogs feel as ease and at home. I genuinely enjoy getting out for walks and would love to welcome another dog to join us, giving both them and my own dog the chance for fun, exercise, and socialisation. Your dog will be treated with care, attention, and plenty of affection while they’re with me. Lucho is well trained - house trained, comes back on command, does tricks (sit, paw, other paw, beg, lie down, spin, roll over, kiss) - so if your young pup comes around, I can definitely do some training, or expand on any training already being done at home. I work from home - where I have a large garden and lots of toys for dogs to play in. I work 10am-6pm, and have an hour lunch break in-between, so lots of time for long morning walks, and ample opportunities to allow the doggies to do their business out in the garden. I have a fenced garden at home, and dogs have free roam around the house which is mostly dog-proof. I have a super friendly cockapoo who makes even the grumpiest of pooches to get up and play - so he's happy to keep your fur baby company and ease them into my care.

About: I would love to look after your dog, I live in a fun loving family home with our dog Shelby. I have owned dogs since I was a small child and trained them from puppies. All my immediate family own dogs. When looking after your dog I will take them for two at least one hour walks per day. I have a responsible attitude towards caring for your pet and am not scared to get stuck in. I will ensure there is a safe environment for your pet and make it feel welcome and at home in my house. I’m currently working from home studying so I have plenty of time to play with and walk your dogs. This means I’m around all day so your pets will not be left on their own. About: I’m a graduate living at home with family currently, I work full time with a remote job and spend most of my free time looking after animals. I’ve been raised with a large variety of pets from dogs to goats. As a family we have rescued 4 dogs and fostered many more, because of this I have a lot of experience with reactive and anxious dogs as well as those who are at risk of running away. I am happy to look after any pet and house sit full time, on occasion I will have to be out of the house for work but never for longer than 3 hours. I started house sitting and looking after pets because I am looking to save for a house and travelling and getting paid to look after animals seemed like a dream. I recently moved back from university and don’t yet have a post grad job. I’m free most weeks for boarding or just drop ins. Message and I’m sure we can work something out. My house is incredibly dog friendly with no foods that could potentially be risky to a dogs health. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, if you would prefer them not to be then a bed and or crate are also available, water bowls and food bowls are also provided. I have a large amount of dog poo bags and spare leads when needed, and there are two front doors so any dogs that like to try and escape will have no chance.

I’m retired, so I’m in the house most of the day. My dogs get taken on safe enclosed walks an hour long each day. I have a big house/garden for the dogs to relax and play in. I’m up around 8am and go for an hours walk with the dogs around 9-10am Pottering around the garden during the day Afternoon walk with the dogs (hot weather depending, else it’s a walk after 9pm) I’m retired and so lots of time can be spent with the dogs. About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby. My nan cared for retired guide dogs for around 20 years, so I developed a strong love and adoration for dogs. My family has owned 2 dogs since I was a child, sadly our last dog passed away 2 years ago and my family and I have felt like a part of us has been missing ever since. No dog could replace our sweet Lionel, he was the most special dog ever, but I decided to start up a dog boarding business as a way to still surround us with dogs. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs many times as favours before I started my business and that’s what really pushed me to have the confidence to do this as a job. If you choose to have me as your dog boarder, you can be assured that your dog will be treated like family and will be given so much love and care. I am available everyday of the week as this is my sole job. I do volunteer most mornings of the week, however I live in a house of 6 people so it is very rare that no one is home. I am fully licensed by Southampton City Council, so my house and garden have been completely approved and catered to suit dog boarding. I also have a Canine First Aid certification, full insurance and DBS checked.

She had a blast playing and getting all the attention. They even included Islay in their weekend plans and she spent loads of time outdoors with the whole family.
