“Rose was absolutely perfect throughout….from the first meet, to coming and staying with my dogs. She sent me lots of lovely, reassuring photos and videos, which eased any worries I had about my dogs missing me. They instantly took to her and had a fun few days with Rose. I’m so grateful for her care, love, flexibility and patience (my dogs can be a bit needy haha) Thank you Rose 🥰”

About: I have experience of dog walking and pet sitting for clients in Whitchurch and Overton. I have had good reviews for my service. I will only walk two dogs at a time. This is so that your dog has a fun walk and is always kept safe. Your dog will always be kept on a lead unless I have written permission otherwise. I have completed an Understanding Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business online course which was very useful. In March I completed a Dog First Aid Emergency Canine Care Course. (Accredited by the CPD Standards Office) This course has given me much more confidence of what to do in an emergency. I am currently free to walk dogs from Tuesday - Sunday (8am - 5pm) Staying overnight from 7pm - 8am. Every dog and cat is different, so we will discuss their needs at the Meet and Greet. I do not offer pet care at my home. I can stay overnight at your home. This is less stressful for your pet than going to a strange place. I will follow your instructions for feeding, medicine etc. I love cleaning and so your house will be left tidy.

About: Welcome to Pollicott’s Pets! I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse and pet sitter with lots of experience caring for cats, small dogs, small mammals, birds and reptiles. I am fully insured and DBS cleared meaning your special pets are in safe hands. I started my career in veterinary nursing in 2016 and have worked in several first opinion veterinary practices helping to provide emergency and routine care to pets. I now work in a senior administrative position at a veterinary practice whilst maintaining my registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, alongside being a self employed pet sitter. At home I live with my partner and our 16 year old kitty Amethyst. She suffers from osteoarthritis and early stage kidney disease, so as well as providing veterinary care in practice, I am also well accustomed to providing veterinary care in the home environment if needed. I work at a vets during the daytime but have availability mornings and evenings for pet sitting visits. I never book too many pets in at once so I have plenty of time with each pet, ensuring they get the care they need. I'd like to know every last detail of your pet’s routine so I’ll come around for an initial first meeting for free – giving you and your pet the chance to decide if I’m the right sitter for you.

Confident in being able to adapt to the needs of all dogs. Working from home mostly with schedule updated to show when I am available to care for your pooches. I am able to offer morning walks that match your schedule, lunchtime feeds at a time that is convenient or evening wanders before bed. I work from home most days and those that I don't I will not look after or commit to looking after your pet. In the mornings I will take them out for a walk and loo break with regular updated throughout the day. During work regular loo breaks will happen. During the evening I will ensure that your pooch is well walked if needed before dinner.
16. Chantelle A.
“We have absolutely loved having Chantelle look after our dog. She has been brilliant right from the start. Great communication and lots of photos. She took hi out for regularly runs which he’s loved. She clearly became great friends with our dog and had looked after him like he was one of hers. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived home and she had even offered to pick up some milk and things before we arrived home. We cannot recommend Chantelle highly enough and we will absolutely be using her again to look after our dog. It’s a very difficult choice to make when finding someone to look after your beloved pet in your home but we absolutely made the right one with Chantelle.”
17. Caitlin C.
“The instant Caitlin walked into our house, our dog Woof loved her. She is super friendly, chilled out and clearly enjoys dogs. It was great to receive some updates whilst we were away. I would highly recommend but not too much as we want her to come back!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my family home my whole life, I now have 2 of my own dogs, both rescues from Cyprus (Grace and Freckles), I’ve trained both of these dogs who used to be very timid and shy and are now sociable, happy and loving dogs. I’m happy to take on puppies, I have previously helped train my parents puppy last year. I currently work Monday - Thursday 0800-1630 Friday 0800-1300 I am off every weekend. I can be available during the week overnights as my partner can have our dogs. I am happy to provide whatever level of care your dog is used to, I am happy to take them on as many walks as you typically take them (I can walk them more often if you wish). We will have a discussion beforehand to establish your dogs usual routine so that this isn’t disturbed whilst I care for your pet.
