“I am so pleased to have found Lauren to look after my dog Minnie. Lauren and her partner Dave have been wonderful in caring for Minnie while I have had to travel. Lauren has cared for Minnie for a single day visit, an overnight stay and for a week when I had to visit the US. Lauren and Dave are both very caring and I feel very confident that she is getting the best care possible. Lauren sends me regular update photos which ofcourse I love to see.”

“Fiona, James and their daughters made our two dogs very welcome in their home and looked after them very well. We had regular photos and updates, and they have come home very relaxed and happy. They accommodated Dizzy (a rescue with issues with other dogs) very well, avoiding situations that could upset her. Thanks Fiona & James!”

“This is the first time that I have required a dog sitter for my Cocker Spaniel -Freya . I was drawn to Eleanor’s advertisement because she loves dogs but does not at present have a dog and does not intend to have more than one dog in a sitting. I immediately knew that Freya would get a lot of love and attention. After our first pre- sit dog walk I knew I had struck gold. Eleanor not only understands dogs but dog owners too. By the time I went on holiday I was totally confident and at ease with the booking. Now that I have picked Freya up I am delighted to see the relationship they have and I can see that Freya has been happy and well cared for. To other dog owners I can’t recommend Eleanor highly enough.”

“Jo was really great, would highly recommend and ask her to look after Carlos again. You can tell she really cared and went the extra mile to make sure he settled in well and got on with her two lovely dogs! This makes it really reassuring when I haven’t left him much before and also loads of pictures to keep me updated!!”

“Chloe was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. We needed help looking after Ottie to attend a funeral and Chloe was kind, flexible, organised … Ottie had a wonderful time and when we arrived looked very happy. She had been looked after brilliantly. We couldn’t be happier with the care she received. I would highly recommend Chloe.”

“We had a great experience with Kelly and her lovely family, who looked after our young dog, Dustin, for his very first sleepover. They were very welcoming, making Dustin feel right at home. Throughout his stay, Kelly kept me updated with messages and photos, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear Dustin was in great hands and having a fantastic time. I would happily book with them again!”

“Mabel recently stayed with Joanne and her family. I sent her packing (a little nervous due to it being my first rover) and with a million warnings about what she MIGHT do! 🤣 Turns out Mabel was an absolute dream so they must have been brilliant at looking after her. I had regular updates and pictures. Timings were sorted out easily and we kept in touch via Whatsapp. Joanne has a really secure garden - which made me feel so much more comfortable leaving her there. It felt like a home from home setting. I have two children of my own and Joanne's two seemed to love her as much as her own. They were super excited to have her. She was allowed upstairs and just slipped into their family life. She had plenty of walks and was fed well. I wouldn't hesitate at using Jo again! Thanks guys! 🐾🐾”

About: I’m Emily, founder and owner of WRR Pet Services, with a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Zoo Biology, specialising in animal behaviour, conservation, and legislation. I am also pet first aid trained, hold a clean DBS check, and am certified in dog walking with the ISCP. I have extensive hands-on experience working with cats through roles in kennels and catteries, as well as caring for rescue and foster animals, including those with behavioural or medical needs. My background in animal behaviour helps me understand feline communication, stress signals, and individual personalities, allowing me to adapt my care to suit even the most shy, anxious, or independent cats. I have lifelong experience caring for cats alongside a wide range of other animals, and I currently care for four cats myself. This gives me a strong understanding of daily routines, enrichment needs, feeding habits, and the importance of maintaining a familiar and low-stress environment. My focus is always on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable experience for every cat in my care, ensuring their wellbeing, routine, and happiness are fully supported while you’re away.

“William did an amazing job looking after Mogg and took lots of photos and videos for us while we were away, which made us very happy to see she was happy. Thank you 😊”

“Could not ask for a better cat sitter. Emily was amazing throughout, from our first visit to the last, she gave regular descriptive updates with photos, not just feeding and ditching but staying sometimes beyond allotted times to play and make sure our cats were well looked after. She had to deal with our ragdoll being sick often and I am grateful that not only did she do this without complaint but we came back to two very happy, soft (thanks for brushing so often) cats and a very tidy flat with no sign of the sick I can’t thank you enough for that!! Will 100% book again, couldn’t recommend higher thank you 🙏”

“Bethany was wonderful with my pet! She always took care of Elvie in the best possible way and made sure everything was handled with care and attention. I will definitely continue to contact her whenever I need someone to look after Elvie! ☺️”

“Wonderful to come home to a nice tidy house and a very happy contented cat who we can see by the photos that Jasmine very kindly sent us that Llewi had been very well looked after and had had lots of attention. Well done to both Jasmine and her husband J. Quite happy to book her again soon with our dog Maisie too G”

“Georgia-Mary was an amazing sitter for our sweet cat, Jinx! She was conscientious, thoughtful and made sure Jinx had everything she needed while we were away. She made sure she understood all feeding and care details and Jinx was calm and content when we came home. We felt completely comfortable leaving keys for her despite never meeting in person and would happily have her cat sit for us again. ☺️”

“Excellent care and attention was paid to my 3 diverse cats. Cannot fault Alexandra B,s communication to me on their interaction with her. Would opt for her at any point in the future. 👍”

“Aliya & Amir did an amazing job looking after our home, cats, garden birds and rabbit! We were in constant communication and the updates were so much appreciated as we left behind two sensitive cats who were cared for with much love and attention. Our home was left spotlessly clean and we knew were were in good hands, it was so great to relax whilst we were away. We would not hesitate to recommend them both and look forward to booking them again.”

About: Hi! I’m an attentive and caring cat sitter with hands-on experience looking after both adult cats and kittens. I have a Siamese cat, and I’ve personally hand-reared her newborn kittens when the mother wasn’t able to feed them. This involved feeding them every two hours, stimulating them to go to the toilet, and ensuring they were healthy and comfortable. I love spending time with cats, playing with them, providing gentle care, and making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away.

“I've recently moved to Winchester and this is the first time since 2017 that my cats have been left with a new cat sitter. Aimee was really great at keeping me up to date on how the cats were doing, she took lots of photos and just really helped put me at ease about leaving them. I would use her again without hesitation.”

“It's the second time Sarah looked after my furry kids and she was brilliant. Even my not very sociable cat got close to her. I definitely recommend her and will not hesitate to book again.”

Thank you!”

“Lauren and her husband were great with Nala for a few days of doggy day care whilst I had to go into a physical office. Photos of her spending time with them and having cuddles. Nala is shattered when she gets home having had a filled day. Communication from Lauren was always fast and clear Would definitely recommend Lauren for any doggy care x”

About: We (my husband James and I) can offer a truly home from home experience and host solo dogs if preferred as we no longer have our own pets. We are huge dog lovers and have owned dogs since 2010 but our last one passed in Autumn 25. We love having dog guests to stay and they are treated like a part of the family. Over the past 5 years we have had repeat visits from a Rottweiler, Husky, Boxer and a pair of lovely Spaniels. Between James and I, one of us will always be able to be at home when we have a dog guest as we work flexibly. We are an active family and have countryside walks right outside our door so we are happy to take our dog guests out for fun walks in fields and forests! We have a decent sized secure garden with 6 ft wooden fences. We will happily work with dog owners to understand the routines which work for the dog to support and help them to settle with us.

About: We have over 30 years of experience in having and loving dogs. We have an older dog of our own who is very friendly and loves company on his walks. I am semi retired and have plenty of time to walk and exercise your dog. Our home backs on to a lovely lake and open spaces. Our older dog Ozzie is very laid back and usually curls himself around me on our sofa. Your dog will be treated had part of our family and given a lot of love and attention. If they want to snuggle on the sofa that is absolutely fine with me. My husband will also give your dog an early morning walk if they are partial to that. We have a garden which is fenced off and we also have a dog flap so if I have popped out your dog will not have to wait to be let out for his or her toilet breaks. Our dog is very friendly with other dogs and we will make them feel safe and comfortable in our home from home.
“I had another amazing experience with Rose and her lovely family. When I dropped off Mylo, he went straight to Rose, which made me feel so at peace knowing that he was being well looked after. The photos and video updates that I received were so sweet. It was evident how much Rose and her family love dogs. Thank you so much again Rose, and I hope to see you soon. ❤️”

“Sandra was a fantastic dog sitter! She treated our dog with love and professionalism, sending us daily updates that put us at ease. Our puppy came home happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for a superior dog-sitting experience. Thank you, Sandra, for taking such good care of Diego!”

“This was Peggy’s (and our) first experience of using the Rover app, however we are so pleased we did - Sophie was brilliant from the first message to pickup! Peggy felt at home with Sophie straight away had such a great time - she came home worn out 😀 We would certainly use her again and be happy to recommend her 🐶🐾”

“Jenny was a superb sitter for my dog. She understands Shiba Inu and I can recommend her to anyone who has this breed or rare one who has slightly different temperament from majority. She spared her time to meet and greet with us beforehand which helped enormously for my dog to settle there and for me to go through all details that I hoped to inform. On the day, my dog just knew where she was and looked happy on series of photos Jenny sent. Will come back, I am sure.”

“Joey was just amazing with Pao. She was so lovely and welcoming, and really looked after him so well. He enjoyed himself so much with Rolo and Cooper, and was so tired after such a fun day! We’d ask her to look after him again in a heartbeat.”

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! My partner George and I recently bought our first home in Eastleigh, and we’re both huge dog lovers. While our work commitments mean we can’t have a dog of our own right now, we’d love to help others by providing caring and reliable dog walking and sitting services. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from a Border Collie to a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix, and now a lovely litte Poochon. I’m very used to grooming needs and making sure coats are well cared for. I also regularly help care for family dogs, including Labradors, so I’m confident with both small and large breeds. Having experienced every stage of a dog’s life, I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies as well as giving extra patience, attention, and love to older dogs. I work full-time across four days a week, which means I’m fully available on Tuesdays and weekends. On my days off, your dog will have my full attention. I’ll always stick to your routine and make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s during a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay. I’m happy to provide as many walks as your dog needs, along with plenty of playtime and attention. They’ll also have access to a secure garden and a safe, dog-friendly home environment. I have a fully fenced, secure garden and plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. I’m also happy to take dogs out in the car for longer walks or new environments if they enjoy that. I always aim to follow your preferences and routine to make sure you feel completely comfortable. My home does have stairs, but these can be safely blocked off if needed. Dogs are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. You’re very welcome to bring their bed, crate, blankets, or anything familiar from home. If your dog is used to cuddling up on the sofa, they’ll be more than welcome to do the same here!

“Amber settled really well with Chloe. It was home from home. Chloe’s young family adored her and Amber was her usual laid back self. Would highly recommend Chloe and not hesitate to use again.”

“Rio had a lovely time. With other dogs to walk and play with and superb outdoor space he settled well and Aston sent me updates and videos of how well he was getting along. At pickup time, although he was pleased to see me Rio was very relaxed and not in any rush to leave, always a very good sign.”

“Thank you so much for looking after our dogs, kept us updated with photos which was so lovely to see how happy & safe they were with such lovely people. (maybe too happy as scooby stole the last bit of your dinner 🤦🏻♀️) they even took them on a walk as well which is much appreciated. Can’t thank enough🐾”

“Teresa was so accommodating with our last minute booking for Winnie. She sent pictures and updates daily and kept in touch the whole time! She let us make sure Winnie was settled before we left her and when our flight was delayed over 3 hours getting home, she was accommodating with that too! We could tell Winnie had lots of fun and was really happy staying with Teresa, I can’t recommend her enough :)”
