ex dairyman with lots of hands on experience with farm animals as well as dogs. I have been working full time dog sitting and walking for a few years now with many different breeds of dogs. I enjoy the challenge of the bigger dogs but I treat all the dogs with love care and attention. All prices are not set in stone so on our meet and greet we can discuss that . I drive a van which is more costly but I enjoy the great outdoors doing lots of different walks

I do not board pets at my home. When staying with a pet in their own home I try to keep the routine as if the owner is there in the home. so animals see as little change as possible.

John has a special gift and affiliation with animals. Jozi and Angel just loved him. Very efficient, very communicative- we are very grateful indeed!
John looked after Gracie for us whilst we attended a wedding. We could not be happier, John was great at giving us updates and we were able to see that Gracie was being well looked after and very happy. Thank you John.
John looked after our Labrador Freddie for a week in our home whilst we were abroad. John kept us up to date with how she was getting on and sent regular pictures and videos. We can tell she was having time of her life with all the different places he took her too and she was well looked after. We will book John in the future for dog sitting.
John is amazing - truly the best dog sitter I have ever used. My dogs received 100% of Johns attention the whole time he was with them and had some amazing walks! He also went over and above in and around the house and looking after my other animals. He was clean and tidy and know one would have ever have known he had been there once he left. Its lovely when people tread lightly on this earth and he truly does. I now feel confident that I can go away knowing my beloved pooches are in trusted hands.

We booked John to look after our 6 yr old Labrador in our home whilst we were away for a night. John was proactive and contacted me to arrange to meet our dog ahead of the sit so she could get used to him which was much appreciated. On the day of the sit John was punctual (even arriving early and offering to take out our dog whilst we were busy getting ready to leave) and kept us updated with photos and messages which was reassuring. Our dog has elbow dysplasia and other health issues which she needs medication for. John made sure she followed the same routine for meds and food and took into account her medical conditions making sure she wasn’t over exercised. John took excellent care of our dog and I would book him for future sits/recommend him.

I have retired from farming early to do more traveling and sight seeing around this country and abroad .I enjoy house sitting between my jaunts aboard with my girl friend. so rest assured that your home and pets are in good hands.
