About: I have had dogs from when I was young and as an adult. Dogs I’ve had have been from puppies so have experience of very young dogs. I currently have a dog who is my little buddy. I am DBS checked and cleared. I’m self employed so I have some different days free each week where I can care for other pets and prepared to travel up to a distance of 10 miles I have a fenced garden with a very friendly dog who likes to meet other dogs and people. About: I have grown up around many animals all my life. I am very compassionate to care for them and to meet their needs. Since moving out of the family home, I have my own cat, Benji, who is very energetic, mischievous, I adore coming home to seeing him. During my time living in my family home, I had numerous cats and 1 dog, who was a puppy when we brought him, he is a dalmadoodle. I enjoyed training him with my parents. I am a swimming teacher working predominantly with babies and toddlers between the hours of 10-12 and 3:30-5, and have a lot of time during the day to play with your animals, give them walks and give them the best life. I will care for pets in their home by being there for them when they would like to play, go for a walk or go to the toilet and food times! I will care for them like they are my own pet.

“Georgie is brilliant! We used her for the first time yesterday when we were out for an extended period of time. We met up with her before going ahead with the booking to make sure it was a good fit and we all felt at ease the instant she walked through the door. Really personable and friendly, and super confident with the dogs, reacting perfectly to both of our dogs but particularly well towards our dog who has anxiety. Not everyone comes with that sensitivity built in so it made it made us feel at ease seeing how she read the situation and his reaction and adapted her approach. Yesterday went perfectly! She arrived on time and stayed a little longer than we had booked her for. In that time she walked the dogs, played with them and made sure that they were safe and comfortable when she left. About: Hello, I’m Lisa and I’ve lived with and taken care of all manner of animals my whole life. I grew up on farms with chickens, dogs, cats, and cared for my own horses for years. I’ve grown up alongside my family dog Oscar, the tibetan terrier and his dearly missed brother Arlo, the cocker spaniel. Oscar has since gained a new baby brother in Bruno, the cockerpoo, who exists to be his karma for terrorising Arlo when he was younger. I have a lot of experience caring for both high and low energy dogs, and have also cared for cats - pet sitting for family friends when they’re away from home. We recently got two kittens, Marvin and Philip! However, we can quite easily keep them separate if your pet isn’t used to cats and would actually appreciate anyone with a dog that’s cat-friendly as I’d like to teach the boys to be as dog-confidence as possible! I work shifts at my work so my availability varies. Days off vary between weekends and weekdays, and I am either working day shifts or late shifts. I live in a 2-bedroom house with an enclosed garden, perfect for both dogs and cats. I am walking distance from several parks in the Chandler’s Ford area and have my own transportation so I am able to travel if required.

This was my first time using a cat sitter service. One of my cats is diabetic and so it’s always a concern with him needing insulin injections. Charlotte was brilliant with him, my other cat is not really a people cat, but he decided Charlotte was the exception to that and he became Mr friendly, happy to eat his food in front of her. They both greeted her every day like their long lost friend. She sent lots of videos and pictures which helped me be at ease and know they were ok. Highly recommend.
I had the best experience with Amber looking after my cat, Dorie, while my partner Ash and I were away in Croatia. From the start, everything was simple and easy. Communication was quick and clear, and the booking process was straightforward. Amber is very reasonably priced and was always responsive, which immediately gave us confidence we’d made the right choice. Before we even booked, Amber kindly came round to our house to meet us over a coffee and spend time with Dorie. That really stood out and made us feel completely at ease about leaving her in someone else’s care. While we were away, Amber kept us updated every day with messages, photos, and videos, as well as clear updates on when she visited and left. She also had no issue at all administering Dorie’s medication, which was a huge plus for us. The biggest test for us is always how Dorie behaves when we get home. Normally, when we’ve had friends or family look after her, she’s a bit moody or sassy when we return. This time was completely different — she was happy, relaxed, and playful straight away, which says everything about how well she was looked after. As a first-time Rover user, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Amber without hesitation. She gave us real peace of mind while we were away, and we’ll absolutely be using Rover again — and Amber specifically if she’s available — for all future trips.
