“Eirian was very friendly, professional and she listened to every instructions I gave her for my dog Pixel. He is reactive to the doorbell, can be agressive when I receive guests and she was great. We did some exercises with the doorbell, I invited her in the house a few times and Pixel’s reactivity really improved.”

“It gives us such peace of mind to know that Pedro will be absolutely fine with Caroline visiting him when we have to leave him alone. She inspires confidence and Pedro is very comfortable with her.”

“Loz was fantastic with my two cats! She went above and beyond, arranging an initial visit to meet them and understand their needs, and even made an extra trip to collect the key and go over the final care instructions. My cats (and my home) were very well looked after. One of my cats requires regular medication, and Loz handled it with complete care and reliability. I felt confident everything was in safe hands and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Loz! I am hoping my dates align with Loz again in the future!”

About: Hi, I’m Daniel — a compassionate and reliable pet sitter based in Southampton. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats and small pets, and they’ve always been a huge source of joy for me. There’s something special about being around animals and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. I’ve looked after pets for friends, family and colleagues, including dogs, cats and rabbits. Whether it’s an energetic dog who needs a good walk, a nervous pet who needs patience, or a senior animal who needs a gentler approach, I adapt to each pet’s personality and needs. I’m naturally calm, attentive and caring, but also playful when the situation calls for it. I genuinely love what I do, and nothing beats seeing a pet relaxed, happy and thriving in my care. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine as I work from home most of the week, which gives me good flexibility during the day. I’m typically available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends, and I’m able to plan my schedule around visits, walks or check-ins to make sure pets get consistent care and attention. Because of this flexibility, I can also adapt to different routines, whether that’s morning visits, evening care, or multiple check-ins throughout the day. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always prioritise keeping their routine and environment as familiar and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow all instructions provided, from feeding and walks to any specific behaviours or needs, and I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure in their own space. I’m respectful of the home, keep everything clean and tidy, and ensure doors, gates and any safety measures are properly managed at all times. I stay attentive to each pet’s behaviour and wellbeing, and I’m always prepared to respond calmly if anything unexpected arises. I also keep owners updated regularly, so they can feel confident their pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I owned an English bulldog for 7 years so experienced with health issues, stubbornness and hefty weight as well as knowing when they need to stop exercising. I have owned cats for 13 years and can deal with all the needs for their daily care and affection I work until 5pm Monday - Thursday so can make evening visits during the week. My most flexible time is Friday afternoons and weekends! I don’t work bank holidays so long weekends can be covered I cannot offer an in home care service but I would be more than happy to house sit or visit your pets at your home. I would treat your pet as if they were my own
“Amber’s care for my cat Charlie over Christmas was exceptional. She agreed to take on feeding him at pretty short notice after I had other options fall through. Amber fed him everyday at the agreed time and sent me update pictures with a description of his mood. Amber also spent time playing with Charlie on each visit for around 30 minutes which was really important whilst I was away. Amber then successfully passed on my keys to a neighbour. I would recommend Amber to anyone. An excellent, trustworthy cat sitter.”

“A definite recommend! Rebecca Y walked into the house for the meet and greet and my dog immediately felt safe in her presence. Rebecca took excellent care of my pooch when I was away from home and I feel so much peace of mind being able to leave her in Rebecca's care when I need to!”

About: Hello! I work from home quite a bit and I’m really missing the company of my dog. I thoroughly enjoy going on little adventures and like to get the steps in. I’ve had 13 years experience caring for my dog at home and most recently an Alsatian puppy. I’ve also had experience volunteering in an animal shelter! While I work part time my schedule is pretty flexible and I love nothing more than a break from the computer to get some fresh air. Keeping your pet happy and healthy is the top priority. I will play with them, walk them and keep them well fed and well rested. And of course give them loads of love!
“We had to abandon our cat for the weekend to visit our son. We didn’t have a single concern after arranging for Natalie to pop in 2x per day. She fed Willow, changed his litter and played with him Willow was so chilled when we got home, he’d had dinner and didn’t even come downstairs to greet us 😳”

About: Hello, I’m Lisa and I’ve lived with and taken care of all manner of animals my whole life. I grew up on farms with chickens, dogs, cats, and cared for my own horses for years. I’ve grown up alongside my family dog Oscar, the tibetan terrier and his dearly missed brother Arlo, the cocker spaniel. Oscar has since gained a new baby brother in Bruno, the cockerpoo, who exists to be his karma for terrorising Arlo when he was younger. I have a lot of experience caring for both high and low energy dogs, and have also cared for cats - pet sitting for family friends when they’re away from home. We recently got two kittens, Marvin and Philip! However, we can quite easily keep them separate if your pet isn’t used to cats and would actually appreciate anyone with a dog that’s cat-friendly as I’d like to teach the boys to be as dog-confidence as possible! I work shifts at my work so my availability varies. Days off vary between weekends and weekdays, and I am either working day shifts or late shifts. I live in a 2-bedroom house with an enclosed garden, perfect for both dogs and cats. I am walking distance from several parks in the Chandler’s Ford area and have my own transportation so I am able to travel if required.
“Pablo was a great sitter for my cats over the Christmas period. He arrived at the agreed times and gave my cats all the care and attention they need. I had updates each visit, including photos and videos of the cats playing and purring away. This is the first time I have used Rover and would definitely use the service again! Pablo is highly recommended and I will definitely book him again if required.”
“Thanks for looking after Bramble while we were away. The daily updates were much appreciated and we're so grateful you took the time to give her plenty of love and attention, as well as sorting out the food and litter. She was her happy, lovely self when we got home.”

“Kamila has dropped in to see Archie for us a couple of times now and always does an excellent job of looking after him, playing with him and giving him a fuss. Would certainly recommend! Thanks Kamila!”

About: I’ve always grown up around animals and have owned pets for most of my life, so caring for them comes very naturally to me. I grew up around my American Bulldog Max, and so have great experience with dogs and I am comfortable with managing different temperaments. I currently have my own cat, Coco, who I’ve cared for over many years, so I understand how important it is to keep pets comfortable, safe and happy in their own environment. I am a very calm, attentive and loving pet owner. I’m experienced with feeding routines, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they need while you’re away. I’m especially patient with cats and understand that some pets need a calm and gentle approach. I’ll make sure your pet feels relaxed and well looked after, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I work from home, which means I’m flexible and able to give cats plenty of time, attention and supervision throughout the day. I can adapt to your cat’s usual routine, whether that’s regular feeding times, play sessions or quieter companionship. I’m also available for drop-in visits, so your cat can stay comfortable in their own home while still receiving attentive and reliable care. I have a spacious home with multiple rooms, allowing me to create a calm and controlled environment for pets staying with me. For cats, I have a dedicated cat-safe room where they can settle in gradually, helping them adjust without feeling overwhelmed. I set up all their familiar items such as their bed, litter tray, food and toys so they feel secure and relaxed. I’m very patient and gentle, and I’m confident working with shy or more nervous cats, always allowing them to adjust at their own pace. For dogs, I have a large fenced garden where they can safely play, explore and burn off energy in a secure environment. For pets staying in their own home, I’m equally attentive during visits, ensuring feeding, cleaning, playtime and overall wellbeing are all taken care of.
“John was amazing with Thor. I am a “pet mum” full of requests and reminders , lists on the wall and especially i request a continues update. John gave me everything I requested and he was really caring and affectionate with Thor🥰 I was a little apprehensive about many things cause although Thor is not a Huge dog is anyway a dog of a certain size, I have nothing but good words about him and I will for sure book him again in the future.”

“Georgie is brilliant! We used her for the first time yesterday when we were out for an extended period of time. We met up with her before going ahead with the booking to make sure it was a good fit and we all felt at ease the instant she walked through the door. Really personable and friendly, and super confident with the dogs, reacting perfectly to both of our dogs but particularly well towards our dog who has anxiety. Not everyone comes with that sensitivity built in so it made it made us feel at ease seeing how she read the situation and his reaction and adapted her approach. Yesterday went perfectly! She arrived on time and stayed a little longer than we had booked her for. In that time she walked the dogs, played with them and made sure that they were safe and comfortable when she left. Absolutely perfect! Like many dog owners- our dogs are like our children, they're our everything. As such we find it hard to trust people with them but Georgie did such a wonderful job of making all of us feel confident that she is a good fit for us for future bookings. Really highly recommend Georgie! :) Jay, Dean, Spud & Gus x”

If you’re looking for a cat sitter, you don’t need to look any further - just go with Loz. It was our first time away, and when we got back they were both chilled and happy, which was such a relief. In every set of check-in photos, we could see they loved Loz, and it just made the trip so much easier knowing they were in good hands. Thank you so much for your help!!!
