About: Throughout my life dogs and cats and rabbits and birds as well as reptiles - latter in cages. I love walking, stroking, talking to all animals. Please note - if it is Doggy Day Care (or Cat day care) in your home please use the Doggy day care rates and cat day care rates. Please do not use the overnight rate. If you’ve selected doggy day care in your home walks are an additional charge (at the 30 minute pop in rate even if walk is longer. Doggy day care is for an 8 hour block. Please check rates for additional time if you need longer. I’m flexible daily as I do not work so really does depend on what your needs are in terms of your pet requirements. Guaranteed they will get all the love. Please note Day Care in your home is charged at the Doggy Day Care rate (not overnight rate) and usually is a period of 8 hours, with walks being an additional extra charged at the 30 minute drop in rate (even if walk is an hour or longer). I have a fenced garden. I usually never leave dogs in garden alone. Love to play with them and plenty of time to do that.

3. Amelie A.
“I’m writing to wholeheartedly recommend Amélie for any dog sitting or walking position. She is one of the most responsible and joyful people I know, and her genuine love for animals shines through in everything she does. Having grown up around pets, Amélie has a natural ease and understanding when it comes to caring for animals. She’s attentive to their needs, reliable with schedules, and truly enjoys spending time with them—whether it’s going for a walk, playing, or simply providing company. If you’re looking for someone who will treat pets with the same care and affection as you would, I can’t recommend Amélie highly enough.”

“Jess has looked after my dog Brian many times, and I honestly wouldn’t want anyone else. She’s super reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals – Brian absolutely adores her! He’s a very nervy dog around pretty much everything, but Jess is so patient and gentle with him. She takes him on proper walks, gives him loads of attention, and always keeps me updated with photos. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in safe, loving hands when I’m not around. Would absolutely recommend her.”

10. Ana T.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life, which has allowed me to develop a deep love and understanding for them. My family had a Labrador named Laisa, who was much more than a pet; she became a therapeutic companion for a family member dealing with mental health challenges. Her presence not only supported their recovery but also brought ease and joy to our daily lives, leaving an indelible mark on us all. I have also always been available to care for friends’ pets when they go on holiday, either by welcoming them into my home or visiting their homes to ensure they are fed and well looked after. Additionally, I have a modest background in animal therapy, which has further enriched my understanding of the profound positive impact animals can have on our lives. Before I began travelling and exploring the world, I had a wonderful horse named “Mortadelo.” Together, we enjoyed therapeutic rides and created a unique bond that taught me the true meaning of human-animal connection. All these experiences have instilled in me the importance of patience, care, and unconditional love for animals—values I bring to every opportunity I have to care for a pet. I am available to offer my help on weekends and all day on Mondays. From Tuesday to Thursday, I am available after 8:00 PM. On Fridays, I am available after 4:00 PM. I understand how important your pet is to you and assure you they will be in caring and experienced hands with me. I've grown up with dogs, cared for a family Labrador, worked as a guide dog trainer in Spain, and frequently looked after friends' pets. I offer personalized care tailored to your pet's specific needs, including feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship. Your pet's safety, happiness, and well-being are my top priorities, and I am dedicated to providing them with the best possible care. You can trust that I will treat your pet with love and attention, ensuring their comfort and security.

11. Ellie F.

“Brilliant service. Professional, caring and followed my particular instructions to a tee. Ellie kept us updated with pictures of our cats and gave our beloved boys the love and care we would give them ourselves. Fantastic! Will defo use Ellie and her partner again.”

12. Charlene G.
About: I have grown up with Labradors since I was 3 so I have a lot of experience in handling this breed and know the love and attention they crave! In 2021 we took on a rescue dog who lives with us and our children. He is a cross breed, Siberian Husky and German Shepherd. He was very nervous when he arrived in our home and we soon realised he was protective of his toys and food. He was underweight and had not been used to sufficient walks. After lots of nurturing, understanding and patience he has become a big softy but does like to bark a lot! I have even been able to introduce him slowly to my pet rabbits and overtime, he has become playful with them and is trusted to be out in the garden when supervised. We are still working on his recall and being ‘off the lead’ but he certainly embraces his long walks in the forest and shorter walks around out local area. I have lots of experience in looking after my sister’s beagle and my niece’s pet rats. I am working part-time which allows me to spend time at home with my own dog and look after my son when he is not at school. I do have to manage my time around appointments for my child but this would be reflected on my availability calendar anyway. I would be prepared to dog walk or sit on occasional weekends if I am available. We live in The New Forest so there are plenty of open spaces and forest areas to explore. I have a small fenced garden at home which is secure and where we keep 2 rabbits. I am ideally looking to do drop-ins and dog walks at the owner’s property and would consider overnight stays. If your pet has any special requirements I will happily accommodate these where possible, once shown what to do by the owners.

14. Rebecca H.
About: I have experience working in a rescue and boarding kennels and have dog sat for friends and family, as well as assignments on here and other websites - and, we have our own dog! We have a three bedroom house in the centre of Totton near local parks and forest walks. I drive so am always happy to take dogs to local parks/ adventures in the forest. Dogs staying with us get long walks, lots of fuss and cuddles. We have two cats who live with us as well as our own puppy, so preferably would need to have cat and dog friendly dogs - we do have baby gates so dogs and cats can remain separate. Please note we have a 4 year old - he is very good and gentle with animals and knows when to leave them alone when asked. His favourite thing is to run around playing ball in the garden! One of us is usually home every day of the week and we would only accept bookings if we can assure the owner your dog will not be left alone all day. We have a fenced in garden and live near local parks and forest walks. We simply love the company of dogs so they will be very well looked after and pampered!

15. Claire G.
“Claire is wonderfully passionate and attentive pet caregiver. Our miniature dachshund puppy, Chip, spent 8 days with her whilst we were on holiday, and Claire exceeded our expectations. Claire was dedicated to understanding Chip and his; routine at home, likes and dislikes, grooming and health needs, and where he was at with his training so she could ensure that he was comfortable in her home. She asked us if we would like updates, which we did, so she sent us great updates everyday, letting us know how he was eating, sleeping, fun adventures he’d been on. Claire was dedicated to giving lots of time for play, and enrichment taking Chip to numerous different locations and terrains for walks, continuing with his training and socialisation whilst we were away, and treating him with love and care exactly like her own dog. Claire has a wonderful secure garden for the dogs, and is based in a great location for lots of different walks and activites. Highly recommend!”

About: "I’ve been a devoted pet owner since childhood, caring for dogs and cats throughout my life. Currently, I have two dogs—one big, one small—so I understand the unique needs of different breeds and sizes. Beyond personal experience, I’ve worked with high-energy and working dogs, giving me valuable insight into their training and care. I’m also in the process of renewing my qualification in Pet Sitting, Dog Walking & First Aid for Pets, ensuring I can provide knowledgeable and safe care. With a lifetime of experience and a deep love for animals, I treat every pet as if they were my own—providing comfort, fun, and reliable care. As a semi-retired person, I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. While I find early mornings and late afternoons work best for me, I’m not strictly tied to those times and can adjust as needed. Whether it’s a daily walk, occasional sitting, or last-minute care, I’m happy to work around your schedule to ensure your pet gets the attention and companionship they deserve. I provide walking and drop-in services exclusively, ensuring that pets remain comfortable in their own environment. Before I begin care, we’ll go over all the important do’s and don’ts to make sure your pet’s routine is respected. For walks, your pet will be safely transported in the back of my van, equipped with bedding and fresh water for their comfort. I only look after pets from one household at a time, so they’ll either enjoy their walks solo or alongside their familiar companions. If your pet is friendly with other animals, my own dogs may occasionally join for company, creating a familiar and enjoyable experience.

17. Casey S.
About: I have offered dog walking and pet sitting services for over 7 years. I recognise the anxiety that comes with trusting another person to care for your animals, and I always treat every pet as if it was my own! I work as a full time nurse, and my schedule changes every week. This means I have some weekdays and some weekends available to offer pet walking and sitting services. I currently do not offer any pet sitting services within my own home, due to having my own pets and this being their own space.

18. Jade C.
“I regularly use Jades services to walk my dog whilst I’m at work or take care of her if I go on holiday and I couldn’t be happier with the experiences. Jades passion for animals shines through in every interaction, and she has a natural knack for understanding and connecting with dogs. Her reliability and professionalism are unmatched; she's always on time and goes above and beyond to ensure my dog's needs are met during every walk. I feel at ease knowing my dog is in jades capable and loving hands. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a dedicated and caring dog walker or sitter.”

19. Sophie C.
“Sophie Looked after my dog for a long weekend, gave me lots of updates, My dog looked happy when I picked her up so would recommend.”

20. Lauren W.
“Lauren has looked after my two fur babies a number of times now and I cannot fault her. Having two bulldogs I tend to worry about the impact of the climate especially the heat has on them, Lauren is extremely in tune with the behaviour and concern around my two and takes every measure to ensure they are well looked after whilst in her care. I have absolutely no qualms leaving my two dogs with the lovely Lauren, she really is the most reliable and considerate person I would want to look after my fur babies!!”
