“This is the first time using Rover and we are so pleased that we found Sophie and Josh to look after our three year old dog called Nancy for an over night stay. Sophie and Josh are an incredibly kind and warm couple, with a beautiful home and the most cutest dog of dog their own called Theo. I would like to say thank again …. a forever friend Nancy and Gemma xxxx”

“We left our nine-month staffy Islay overnight with Jo and she had a fantastic time. I was a bit nervous to leave her but Jo was incredibly kind. A few days beforehand she met us for a walk to see how Islay is getting on with everyone. Islay absolutely adored staying overnight with Jo’s family and her dog. She had a blast playing and getting all the attention. They even included Islay in their weekend plans and she spent loads of time outdoors with the whole family. I received regular updates from Jo and I felt so relaxed knowing she was happy and enjoying herself. I’ll definitely be leaving Islay with Jo again in the future. This was such a positive experience and I’m thoroughly happy. I can’t recommend Jo and her family highly enough.”

“Shadia took great care of our fluffy child, Maya, for her first night away with someone who wasn't a family member. We were also able to meet up the week before Maya went to stay so Maya could also meet Shadia's gorgeous Golden, Skye. Maya had the best time with Skye and we'll be happy to have her stay again.”

“Gus was included in the family and clearly had a great time. The texts and photos were lovely to have. Shelley and family couldn't have done more for us. We were welcomed even though traffic meant we were much later than planned. I think Gus is missing them so I hope we get to meet up for another stay. I would certainly recommend staying with them.”

“Nala had a great time with Sean. He took her on long walks and kept us updated with pictures throughout her stay. I would highly recommend Sean if you’re considering a sitter for your dog!”

“Ellie gave us real confidence that our dog was in safe hands. The way she manages her own dog is exactly how we would expect. Her dog was very friendly and seemed at ease having a guest dog in the house.. She listened to my pet parent fears and was prepared for everything. 100% recommend!”

“Andy's awesome at what he does. I left Dukey with him for a week and then again for a night, lots of cuddles and updates throughout the day. He also makes sure to provide reassurance where needed instead of making it a panic situation overall if your pet feels a bit off, will definitely book again for Dukey!!”

“We recently had Kellie look after our dog for the first time, and we couldn't be happpier with the experience, We received regular updates and photos which reassured us that Peppa was not only safe but happy and well cared for. We will definitely be booking Kellie again highly recommended.”

“Reggie had a lovely overnight stay with Allison and Toffee. She sent me some photos of their dog walk in the park and a whats app message to let me know how he was doing. Excellent care and thank you for looking after him! Will definitely be booking again.”

“What a brilliant experience we had with Eleanor and Raymond. This was the first time we have left our very high energy, crazy Labrador over night and he absolutely loved it. Both Eleanor and Raymond were so good with him. They took time to understand his needs and make it the most positive experience. Nothing seemed to faze them and it's very easy to see how much they love having dogs around. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them and Rosso is looking forward to more adventures with them.”

“Pippin had a lovely few days with Stephanie, he really bonded so well and the lovely photos/videos that Stephanie kindly sent were very reassuring for me. If I go away for a long weekend again I know Pippin will be very happy and well cared for. Thanks so much.”

“What a delightful, warm lady. Nothing was too much trouble. Kept me informed even though only had intermittent Internet. Boy clearly happy ad when we needed to return to collect his bed ge actually wanted to go back in and initially was refusing to come off the drive, even when door closed. Recommend without hesitation. Would score higher if I could”

“We are so grateful that we found Ron on the Rover app. He is the perfect dog sitter for our precious puppy Buzz. He has never been away from us before and with Ron and his wife’s kind and attentive care, Buzz has had a lovely little holiday. We will definitely be using him again. It’s such a weight off my shoulders. Loved all the photos and updates. So thoughtful and reassuring. Thank you so much Ron 🙏”

“Caroline clearly a very caring animal lover. She looked after our dog really well especially when there were fireworks which our dog doesn’t like. When I picked Albert up he was pleased to see me but happy to still sit next to Caroline for a stroke showing how much he enjoyed being with her. I would definitely recommend 😊”

“We couldn’t be more pleased with Lynn, and Reggie couldn’t have felt more at home. Thank you so much for making him feel so welcome and settled in your home. We will be using Lynn to care for Reggie again and would highly recommend her!”

“This is the second time we have used Murali to look after our dog and once again they didn’t disappoint. We received lots of updates, pictures and videos letting us know how Tilly was throughout her stay. It was clear that she got lots of cuddles, care and love. Your pet will be in good hands with Murali!”

About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby. My nan cared for retired guide dogs for around 20 years, so I developed a strong love and adoration for dogs. My family has owned 2 dogs since I was a child, sadly our last dog passed away 2 years ago and my family and I have felt like a part of us has been missing ever since. No dog could replace our sweet Lionel, he was the most special dog ever, but I decided to start up a dog boarding business as a way to still surround us with dogs. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs many times as favours before I started my business and that’s what really pushed me to have the confidence to do this as a job. If you choose to have me as your dog boarder, you can be assured that your dog will be treated like family and will be given so much love and care. I am available everyday of the week as this is my sole job. I do volunteer most mornings of the week, however I live in a house of 6 people so it is very rare that no one is home. I am fully licensed by Southampton City Council, so my house and garden have been completely approved and catered to suit dog boarding. I also have a Canine First Aid certification, full insurance and DBS checked.
“Philip has given our 8 month old Spaniel, Olive, the most amazing week of love, care and attention! Leaving your dog with a stranger is daunting and we'd never left Olive before. It was a first for us and we couldn't have wished for a better person!!! Olive & I met Philip for a meet & greet, I knew immediately that he was perfect. His two Dachshunds are adorable and so well cared for. I thought Olive might be too lively for them, but they're so calm and weren't worried about her at all. I left feeling confident that Olive would be in safe hands. Philip is super responsive with messages. He put our mind at rest the first morning, sending pictures of Olive looking very much at home. Throughout the week we received regular messages, fantastic photos and videos. Olive was treated to some great trips out for brilliant walks and exercise - she looked so happy we didn't think she'd want to come home! We will definitely use Philip again and can't recommend him enough. You won't find a more able or caring person!”
“Mea, John & family are amazing! We were super nervous about leaving our 16 month old furbaby for the first time but Mea is so calm & reassuring we were unduly worried. Their own family dogs are so welcoming, ensuring ours had a wonderful time & he even seemed to miss his two new friends & disappointed to be home! Thank you Mea for proving a safe home from home! I highly recommend Mea & John to look after your special fur babies!”

“Lauran was amazing with my cat! So accommodating, she was consistent with communication and went above and beyond to make me feel secure and stress free while away! She send photos, great with updates, and even found a way to connect with my very antisocial cat! Definitely recommend, she followed all the requests and she showed she cared. Thank you Lauran xx”

“Hollie was absolutely amazing with Lily ❤️ She accepted our booking at very short notice just the day before and helped us out so much. She looked after Lily really well and kept us updated which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals. Lily was comfortable and happy with her. We are very grateful for all her help and would definitely book with her again 🥰”

About: I'm a passionate animal lover with a special affinity for cats. Having rescued three cats from difficult situations, I understand the importance of patience, love, and care in helping them thrive. I'm experienced in providing a clean and comfortable environment, encouraging exercise and playtime, and offering plenty of cuddles.

About: I have had cats all my life and have always had a very special bond with them. My childhood cat was my best friend, and although I sadly lost them a few years ago, my love for cats has never changed. I currently care for my own cats and understand that every cat has their own personality, routine and individual needs. I’m comfortable caring for shy, nervous, playful, independent and affectionate cats, and I’m happy to give them space when they need it while also providing plenty of attention and companionship when they want it. I know how important it is for cat owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, happy and cared for while they’re away.

“Hilary took good care of our cat Lola on drop in visits while we were away. It was lovely to receive an update and photos of Lola regularly and I would definitely recommend Hilary for drop in cat visits and will use her again when we need to. Thank you Hilary 😊”

“We couldn’t be more happy with Kate as she’s been looking after our 2 boys, Stewie (2 year old rescue Dachshund) & Biggles (6 year old Jack Russell). Pro-active communication, lots of photos (which we love) & an obvious connection with the two dogs which she clearly loves (and they love her). We couldn’t recommend Kate more.”

“Keighley was great! She kept me updated and sent lots of photos. My cat isn’t the friendliest but Keighley looked after him very well and left everything really clean and tidy”

“Could not ask for a better cat sitter. Emily was amazing throughout, from our first visit to the last, she gave regular descriptive updates with photos, not just feeding and ditching but staying sometimes beyond allotted times to play and make sure our cats were well looked after. She had to deal with our ragdoll being sick often and I am grateful that not only did she do this without complaint but we came back to two very happy, soft (thanks for brushing so often) cats and a very tidy flat with no sign of the sick I can’t thank you enough for that!! Will 100% book again, couldn’t recommend higher thank you 🙏”

“Lorrin is extremely professional and responds very quickly to messages on Rover. She was very accommodating when I had to change a time. My cat loves her and she sends amazing pics and updates to set My mind at rest. Would wholeheartedly recommend.”

About: I started offering cat sitting services two years ago and I recently adopted a kitten of my own. I understand the anxiety around trusting another person with your animals, and I always treat each pet as I would my own!

About: I have over 30 years of experience caring for cats, having owned and looked after a variety of breeds and personalities, from large ginger cats to Persian and pedigree cats. I am experienced in caring for cats at every stage of life, from playful kittens to adult and senior cats, ensuring they receive the appropriate care, attention, and companionship they need. I am a loving, patient, and caring person who enjoys spending quality time with cats, whether that means engaging in play, providing affection and cuddles, or simply respecting their need for quiet space. My priority is ensuring every cat feels safe, secure, and well cared for in my company.
“John was amazing with Thor. I am a “pet mum” full of requests and reminders , lists on the wall and especially i request a continues update. John gave me everything I requested and he was really caring and affectionate with Thor🥰 I was a little apprehensive about many things cause although Thor is not a Huge dog is anyway a dog of a certain size, I have nothing but good words about him and I will for sure book him again in the future.”

About: I’m very experienced with cats and love to be in their company. I work full time as a vet surgeon so I am mostly available at weekends but if you need morning and evening drop ins then I can work this around my hours!

About: I've grown up in a home that has always had at least one cat, and at one point we had four. I've cared for playful kittens right through to senior cats, including an 18-year-old who needed end-of-life care, such as syringe feeding. This has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and adapting my care to each pet's individual needs.I also regularly look after my mum's cats while she's away on holiday, so I'm used to caring for pets in their own home and keeping them happy and settled in their familiar environment. Alongside my experience with cats, I've also grown up with dogs and have cared for rabbits, hamsters, and a bearded dragon, so looking after animals has always been a huge part of my life. I work in a nursing home, where being caring, reliable, and attentive is part of my everyday role. I'm also enhanced DBS checked, giving you extra peace of mind that both your furry family member and your home are in safe hands. I'll always care for your pets as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away.

About: Raised with cats and dogs, I have a genuine love for cats. I'm here to sprinkle your furry friend's life with endless cuddles, playful antics, and cozy nap times. With a paw-sitive attitude and a sprinkle of catnip, let's create memories that will have your feline friend purring with delight!

“Shadia was amazing. Sent lots of updates, pictures and videos of how mocha was getting on. Mocha absolutely adored staying with Shadia and playing with the lovely and very friendly Skye. She came home tired, happy and she'd love to come back again.”

“I chose Sophie for a day care stay for our beloved Maia, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we met them, they were welcoming and friendly. Maia was made to feel part of the family and enjoyed spending time with Sophie, her family, and their lovely dog Theo. It was reassuring to know she was in such a caring and safe environment while we were away. Sophie kept us updated throughout the day and when we picked Maia up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend Sophie and her family to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Maia!”

“I took my girl to day care with Lauren and she had a great time with Lauren and her family. Lauren is a very caring lady who took storm on a nice long walk during the day. Lauren sent me pictures and videos of storm throughout the day which made me really happy to see her enjoying her day there. I have booked for Storm to go to day care with Lauren and family each Monday. Very happy that storm is with caring people”

About: 🐾 About Me Hi, I’m Vic- a passionate greyhound and sighthound enthusiast who understands that these wonderful dogs have their own unique needs, personalities and routines. As a greyhound owner myself, I know just how important it is to find someone who genuinely understands the breed and that you can trust with their sensitive souls. I’ve been looking after family sighthounds for 10 years and now looking to open this up wider. Starting with 1 dog at a time that wants a new best friend (Melo, 5 year old friendly Greyhound). 🏡 A Calm Home From Home My home offers a relaxed, comfortable environment where your dog can settle in and feel safe. My house has: - Floor for paws anti-slip flooring and carpet throughout. - A fenced garden with a locked back gate. - A sofa and bed dogs are allowed on. - A dog gate by the front door which is always closed when the front door is opened. 🐕 Why Greyhounds & Sighthounds? Greyhounds, whippets, lurchers and other sighthounds are incredibly special dogs. I understand their love of routine, their sensitive nature, their need for secure environments, and their talent for turning into professional couch potatoes after a walk! For now, these are the only dog breeds I will accept. 📸 Regular Updates I know how much you miss your dog when apart, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay, giving you complete peace of mind. Thanks for reading my profile. I work from home most of the week, so your dog will have company throughout the day. Walks are at lunchtime however if open to an early mornings (6am) then Forest adventures are available for dogs who enjoy them! I am usually in the office on Tuesdays and occasionally Thursdays. Any bookings on these days will be discussed with you in as much notice as possible however these days occasionally change. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, caring, dog-friendly home where dogs are treated like family. I take time to understand each dog’s routine and needs, tailoring my care to what suits them and you. This is something I would want to discuss before care begins to ensure everyone is happy.
“we cannot recommend ananda enough! she took care of our sweet georgie, who is currently quite fearful with other people, and just allowed georgie to settle in her own time and space. we couldn’t thank her enough for all the updates and we were very reassured as puppy moms! thank you very very much 🩷”

“Lovely couple and took very good care of Rosie. Very clearly dog lovers. Settled in very well and their own was very cute and friendly. Thank you very much, we’ll be back. Kind Regards Chris”

About: I’m new to Rover, but I’m not new to caring for dogs. I’ve had dogs in my life for 44 years and currently care for my own elderly dogs (Oscar (15) & Lucy (16)), both of whom have needed a lot of patience, routine and gentle handling as they’ve got older. Through them, I’ve gained real experience with senior dog care, sight loss, reduced hearing, medication routines, mobility issues, and understanding when a dog needs calm reassurance rather than too much fuss. I’ve also looked after puppies & dogs for friends and family, and I’m very comfortable following each dog’s normal routine closely. I know how important the little details are, from feeding times and medication to favourite blankies & toys, walking habits, nervous behaviours and the small things that help a dog feel calm and settled. I don’t think there’s anything quite like a dog. They are funny, loyal, gentle, soulful little creatures who somehow make the world feel better just by being in it. I genuinely believe dogs are one of the best things in life, and caring for them properly is something I take seriously. I work from home Monday to Friday and have a flexible schedule, so I’m around throughout the day for company, toilet breaks, feeding routines, walks and plenty of attention. I’m used to planning my day around dogs and their routines, including set meal times, medication needs, rest time and comfort. Walks can be fitted around my working day, including during my breaks or any walking meetings I have with my team. I am currently offering boarding in my own home, as my own dogs have a calm, steady routine and I’m always close by. I care for dogs in my own home, where I keep things calm, safe and settled. I have two elderly dogs myself, so my home is already built around a gentle routine, quiet care and close supervision. They mostly sleep now and are used to being around dogs from friends and family, including younger dogs, so the house is calm rather than busy. I’m very mindful of helping dogs feel comfortable, especially if they are older, nervous, have medical needs, or simply need a little time to settle in. I will always follow your instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication, walks, toilet breaks, sleeping arrangements and any house rules or quirks your dog may have. Every dog is different, so I’d want to understand what makes them feel safe and happy before they stay. Dogs in my care would have plenty of company throughout the day, as I work from home and am always around. They would not be left alone for long, usually no more than around 15 minutes if I needed to pop to the local shop.

About: Hi there, I am Lisa. My wife and I work from home and we would love to have your lovely dog come stay with us! We currently have a gorgeous 2y old black miniature poodle boy (neutered) who is very friendly and easy-going. I also had another dog previously from puppy to 15 y old, so I am an experienced owner and comfortable with all sizes, breeds and personalities! We know how important it is to find someone local you can trust - we hope we can be those people for you and will care for your pet as if they are our own, with plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles and regular photo updates. Happy to meet before and see how we get on! With our dog we do a big walk in the morning and late-afternoon/evening at one of our dogs many favourite spots - the park, forest or seaside. Our poodle loves the water so a swim is definitely on the cards for a hot day! Then they can cuddle up while we both work at home usually. We break the day up with games in the garden, like fetch, tug or find-it, and are always available for cuddles. We're happy to adapt to your dogs energy and requirements. We have a decent sized bungalow with a big garden and secure fence. Your dog can make themselves comfortable wherever they fancy and we will always keep an eye on them while they are settling in.
“Secil looked after Bertie for a whole week during g the daytime. By the second day, Bertie got excited just getting in the car as he knew he was seeing Secil again. He loved every minute, Secil was very flexible for us with early starts and later pick ups. Thank you so very much for taking care of Bertie. We will definitely be back!!”

“Carmen and her delightful family made us both very welcome and were brilliant hosts to Holly. I have never seen her so excited to come back the next day as she was yesterday so, thank you Carmen for looking after her so well. Carmen is well worth booking and I will certainly be asking her to help with Holly in future.”

“Sally and her family was amazing with ralph and kept him well occupied and happy alongside their own dog. Ralph loved it so much he refused to leave and was still happily playing with all the toys! Will be booking in again very soon ❤️”

“Jiani was a great host for my Chihuahua Apollo. She was really welcoming and sent regular updates and pictures of him having fun with her little dog. I would definitely recommend her and it allowed myself and family to enjoy our time in the area without having to worry about him. Thanks so much”

“I took my dog to Eva and Dimitris today and they treated him with so much kindness and care. He was very comfortable, they even played calming music for him, and it really showed how relaxed and happy he was. What I appreciated the most was that they kept sending us photos and videos throughout the day, which really helped us feel at ease and reassured. My dog is usually not comfortable with new people, but he warmed up to them very quickly and it was clear that he was enjoying himself. I’m very grateful for the love and attention they gave him, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy place for their dog.”

About: I’ve had and taken care of numerous dogs since my early years. From Jack Russells to my own anxious bully breed. I understand how daunting it can be to leave your pet with anyone but yourself, but rest assured I will treat them with the upmost care and attention as if they were my own. I’m currently exploring a new career path so my days are flexible to meet any requirement. Be it popping in regularly or extended walks. I’m happy to follow any and all requirement that you have when caring for your beloved pet - I understand that our animals often have weird and wonderful needs
About: We have had animals in our past homes for 20 years me and my husband been together 22 years and also handled puppies whilst one of mine was in labour so I had a lot of experience with dogs of all different breeds. Before Dog boarding I used to look after friends and family’s dogs whilst they were away and took the leap to join officially through rover. I have a papillon now called Harvey and he likes to play has lots of fun to play with other dogs big or small , dogs seem to love coming to mine has its going from home to home without the upset or pining for there owners while they are away , they have way too much fun with toys and walks around the woods that’s backed onto me. Start the day by letting the dogs out, feeding them, and having breakfast. After that, take them for a good morning walk so they can get some exercise and explore. Once you're home, spend some time playing with them, whether it's fetch, tug, training, or games in the garden. While they rest, you can do your household jobs, relax, or enjoy a hobby. Later in the day, have lunch and enjoy some quiet time together. In the afternoon, give the dogs another play session or some enrichment, such as puzzle toys or scent games, followed by a shorter walk. In the evening, feed the dogs, have your dinner, and spend time relaxing together before taking them out for one final toilet break before bed. This keeps them active, happy, and settled throughout the day. I have quite a big garden. Patio and artificial grass which is fenced off. Very Secure Garden lots of room to play around there and squeaky toys and balls and beds to sunbathe 😜

About: I have grown up around animals and have owned a variety. I’ve had the likes of dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs just to name a few. Most recently I have owned a pug and currently live with a golden retriever. I have a lot of knowledge about flat faced breeds and know how to best care for them. Equally I have a lot of knowledge around other breeds particularly smaller ones. I have looked after friends and my families dogs when they have gone away. I have the ability to go to their houses so that their dogs stay in their own environment that’s familiar. I have also had dogs come and stay with me too. I regularly look after my friends dog when she goes to work making sure that her dog is well looked after. I have a lot of free time at the moment being in between jobs so am very flexible with my availability. I will work around what’s best for you and your pet. I will care for your pet as if it was my own. At my house dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the beds so they can have a proper cuddle. I have three beds in the house with room for their own bed if required. I have a fully enclosed garden with a 7ft fence. I also have an open field across the road and a woodlands the other side with running water. I will make sure to feed your dog as many times as needed throughout the time they are with me. There are two fresh water bowls throughout the house and one in the back garden as well so that there is always access to water. I usually keep my back door open throughout the summer time so that Olive (my friends dog) can go in and out when she pleases, as well as her swimming pool under the shade of a giant canopy. If you would like me to sit in your own home I will treat it with the upmost respect. I like to keep things clean and tidy and will leave your home as I came into it. Leave no trace.
“Life saver. We contacted Keighley en route to France as family members work arrangements changed and we found ourselves with a huge problem. Fortunately Keighley was able to step in and provide cover to walk and feed the dogs. Without her I think we would have had to cut short our holiday. Absolute life saver, professional and reliable. About: I've have looked after dogs all my life, I've grown up with them since I was little. I have a working cocker Spaniel called goose. I have complex experience from my last dog who suffered with hip dysplasia, seizures and dietary needs, I managed most of his life untill he passed away wagging his tail. I am a care manager of 19 years so I am no stranger to caring, supporting basic life needs and responsibility. I am honest, transparent and I care. I used to use dog sitters myself and the levels of anxiety trusting a stranger is hard and with this comes levels of anxiety. I will always be contactable, photos and updates will be sent so you. you and your fur babies will be in safe hands. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday as a care manager, I have weekends off so I will be able to give this time to your fur family members. I'm happy to come and stay with your pets to ensure they feel safe whilst in their own home, I feel this helps with their anxiety and being within their own homes they will feel more relaxed and safe. I am DBS checked and I work closely with multiple care agency partnerships and local government, I am very transparent and honest and these traits are within my fibre of which I am extremely proud of.
About: Hi everyone! I’m Anya and I absolutely love animals. I have experience as a Military Working Dog handler which means I’ve worked with lots of different breeds, temperaments and needs. I’m also about to start a part-time role as an Animal Care Assistant with the RSPCA which will give me even more hands on experience. I adore spending time with animals whether it’s walks, playtime or cuddles and I always make sure every pet feels safe, happy and loved. I treat them like my own and love getting to know all their little quirks and personalities. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I love staying active and spending time outdoors. Walks and playtime slot in easily around my schedule and I always make sure to plan my day so pets get the attention, exercise and companionship they need. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a long walk or an overnight stay, I’m flexible and happy to build my routine around keeping pets happy and cared for. I make pets feel safe and comfortable by following their usual routines and paying close attention to their needs. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and keep everything clean and secure. I provide a calm, pet friendly environment with plenty of enrichment and supervision. My priority is always their safety, wellbeing and making sure owners feel reassured while they’re away.
About: I have a wealth of experience in the animal industry. I studied Animal Management (level 3 diploma) and am currently studying Veterinary Physiotherapy at university. I have also worked at a local boarding kennels and volunteered at a gundog training centre. I am a student so have free time to pet sit whilst completing university work. I have a few days off a week and only have lectures until 4 at the latest. I have a fenced in garden complete with grass and concrete area, I am able to provide long walks in the local area. I would ensure all animals were happy and entertained as well as ensuring correct walk and toilet timings.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—growing up, there were always dogs and cats in the house, so caring for them quickly became second nature. That early experience gave me natural confidence and affection with pets. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all ages and temperaments, including senior dogs who need a little extra tender loving care and puppies who are still learning the basics. I really take the time to get to know each animal’s personality and what makes them feel safe and happy. I treat every pet like family, because I know just how much they mean to you. I'm currently available most days. I am not working so I am very flexible. I can be available to care for your pet anytime from morning to night. My home is a safe, pet-friendly space where your furry friend can feel right at home. My garden is fully fenced off and the inside of my home is cozy, clean and free of any potential hazards. Whether your let loves lounging in the sun or playing around in the garden, they'll have a safe and relaxing environment to enjoy.

Together, we'll make sure your pet feels right at home! My home is a calm and loving space where your pet can relax and enjoy plenty of cuddles. I have experience and skills in training, socialisation, and specialised support for dogs of all ages and abilities – from lively pups to wise seniors and even those with unique needs like blindness. Your pet will be in the best of hands, as I'm well-versed in medication administration and regular grooming, and have even helped my own dog achieve the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award! I'm the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends, and I can't wait to share my love and expertise with your cherished companion. So, let's get to know each other and give your pet the holiday they deserve with their new best friend! Pet care fits really naturally into my life, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. I work in Fareham during the day and usually finish at 4pm, but I can pop in for visits around Fareham during my lunch break, as well as before or after work. I’m also available most evenings and weekends, and I occasionally work from home. On Fridays I finish at 12pm, so I have even more flexibility then. I’m a big fan of getting outside and especially love being at the beach, so if your dog enjoys a good walk, a bit of exploring or a trip somewhere new, even better! I’m also happy to care for dogs who are comfortable being left for a few hours while I’m at work, as long as that fits their usual routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I know how difficult it can be leaving your dog with someone new, so I want them to feel safe, settled and comfortable in my care. I’m a dog owner myself, so I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and little quirks. I’ll take the time to get to know your pet and follow the routines and instructions you leave for me, whether that’s feeding, walks, medication, playtime or simply giving them some company. When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll always treat your home with the same respect I would my own. I’m happy to send updates and photos while you’re away, too, so you know how your pet is getting on. Most importantly, I want them to have a calm, positive experience and for you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being looked after.

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! My partner George and I recently bought our first home in Eastleigh, and we’re both huge dog lovers. While our work commitments mean we can’t have a dog of our own right now, we’d love to help others by providing caring and reliable dog walking and sitting services. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from a Border Collie to a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix, and now a lovely litte Poochon. I’m very used to grooming needs and making sure coats are well cared for. I also regularly help care for family dogs, including Labradors, so I’m confident with both small and large breeds. Having experienced every stage of a dog’s life, I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies as well as giving extra patience, attention, and love to older dogs. I work full-time across four days a week, which means I’m fully available on Tuesdays and weekends. On my days off, your dog will have my full attention. I’ll always stick to your routine and make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s during a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay. I’m happy to provide as many walks as your dog needs, along with plenty of playtime and attention. They’ll also have access to a secure garden and a safe, dog-friendly home environment. I have a fully fenced, secure garden and plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. I’m also happy to take dogs out in the car for longer walks or new environments if they enjoy that. I always aim to follow your preferences and routine to make sure you feel completely comfortable. My home does have stairs, but these can be safely blocked off if needed. Dogs are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. You’re very welcome to bring their bed, crate, blankets, or anything familiar from home. If your dog is used to cuddling up on the sofa, they’ll be more than welcome to do the same here!
“This was our first time leaving Gabby with someone we didn’t know so we were pretty nervous but Abbie was fantastic collected her from the house and you could tell straight away she was comfortable with larger dogs, updated us through the stay and dropped her back the following morning. Would highly recommended”

“Qi and her husband were absolutely fantastic with my boy Archie. Qi was quick to contact me when he appeared to have a limp and was reluctant to go down the stairs but after letting her know that Archie was in fact putting on the limp for attention, she was put at ease. I left Archie with Qi on bonfire night and she was brilliant in comforting him with the loud noises. We had a few laughs about Archie's antics for attention and Qi sent some lovely pictures of Archie with herself and her husband. When I collected Archie, it was clear that he had been very happy with Qi and her husband and they expressed how much they had loved having him to stay. I will definitely ask Qi and her husband to have Archie again and they have asked to look after him again. Thankyou Qi I am so greatful to you and your husband.”
