A few days beforehand she met us for a walk to see how Islay is getting on with everyone. Islay absolutely adored staying overnight with Jo’s family and her dog. She had a blast playing and getting all the attention. They even included Islay in their weekend plans and she spent loads of time outdoors with the whole family. I received regular updates from Jo and I felt so relaxed knowing she was happy and enjoying herself. I’ll definitely be leaving Islay with Jo again in the future. About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby. My nan cared for retired guide dogs for around 20 years, so I developed a strong love and adoration for dogs. My family has owned 2 dogs since I was a child, sadly our last dog passed away 2 years ago and my family and I have felt like a part of us has been missing ever since. No dog could replace our sweet Lionel, he was the most special dog ever, but I decided to start up a dog boarding business as a way to still surround us with dogs. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs many times as favours before I started my business and that’s what really pushed me to have the confidence to do this as a job. If you choose to have me as your dog boarder, you can be assured that your dog will be treated like family and will be given so much love and care. I am available everyday of the week as this is my sole job. I do volunteer most mornings of the week, however I live in a house of 6 people so it is very rare that no one is home. I am fully licensed by Southampton City Council, so my house and garden have been completely approved and catered to suit dog boarding. I also have a Canine First Aid certification, full insurance and DBS checked.
About: Had a dog all through my childhood, had my own dog until 15 years ago. Regularly look after friends dogs for the day up to 1 week when they are on holiday I currently work 30 hours a week, looking to board at weekends when I have no work commitments and the dog can have our full attention. However I can board during the week, if the dog is able to be left alone for some time. My children would love a dog themselves but with work it would mean leaving the dog home alone which I do not like the idea of. I have a fenced garden with no back gate, which means your dog/s will be safe. I also have a stair gate across my kitchen door so that dogs can stay in there safely but still have space to walk around. I have a stair gate on the stairs so they have access to all downstairs and the garden.
“Absolutely AMAZING!!! I have literally no words to describe how much I'm thankful to take care of my Lulu on the highest level! I'm treating my puppy like my baby and I was so much sick worried to leave him for long 4 days away from us... But from first phone conversation, through our first meeting, the vibe was amazing! Home and environment is totally dog and puppies friendly. Honestly, he even didn't feel we were gone. He had daily portion of fun, food always on time, walkies and what more important LOVE and understanding if he had poop accident at home etc. We had daily reports and tones of videos and pictures! About: I’ve been brought up around cats since I was born and taken care of cats for friends and family. This has meant I’ve had a wide range of experience with all cat personalities. I’ve met spicy cats, fun and loving, nervous - you name it. I have two cats myself with opposite personalities - one is outgoing and playful, the other anxious but very loving. I drive so can facilitate vet appointments if needed as required. I work from home, so can work to suit schedules and be near animals as required. Having animals myself I understand often complex needs and requirements and can adjust to fit various circumstances as needed. I can familiarise myself with any routine required, and happy to attend beforehand as needed to speak to the owner. I would like to think I am reliable and trustworthy such that it can be one worry less during busy times in your schedule.

My childhood cat was my best friend, and although I sadly lost them a few years ago, my love for cats has never changed. Ziggy was very nervous but with lots of love and gentle encouragement he made many dog and human friends in the Lordswood community. We currently have a gorgeous 2y old black miniature poodle boy (neutered) who is very friendly and easy-going. I also had another dog previously from puppy to 15 y old, so I am an experienced owner and comfortable with all sizes, breeds and personalities! Happy to meet before and see how we get on! With our dog we do a big walk in the morning and late-afternoon/evening at one of our dogs many favourite spots - the park, forest or seaside. Our poodle loves the water so a swim is definitely on the cards for a hot day! Then they can cuddle up while we both work at home usually. We break the day up with games in the garden, like fetch, tug or find-it, and are always available for cuddles. We're happy to adapt to your dogs energy and requirements. We have a decent sized bungalow with a big garden and secure fence. Your dog can make themselves comfortable wherever they fancy and we will always keep an eye on them while they are settling in.

I also have an open field across the road and a woodlands the other side with running water. I will make sure to feed your dog as many times as needed throughout the time they are with me. There are two fresh water bowls throughout the house and one in the back garden as well so that there is always access to water. I usually keep my back door open throughout the summer time so that Olive (my friends dog) can go in and out when she pleases, as well as her swimming pool under the shade of a giant canopy. My family have had dogs since I was little and I now regularly look after my mums dog during the week and when she goes on holiday as well as other family and friends dogs. I am available during the week and on weekends and work from home so I can be flexible to suit you needs. I work from home and have an office in the garden so your dog would have constant company and be free to roam from the house to the garden. I walk every day and I love being outdoors in the fresh air. I also have a car so can collect your dogs or pop over for company/toilet breaks or for a walk. I have a fully enclosed fenced back garden with plenty of space. Your dog will be treated like one of the family with plenty of love, walks, cuddles and attention. My home is their home. About: We have had animals in our past homes for 20 years me and my husband been together 22 years and also handled puppies whilst one of mine was in labour so I had a lot of experience with dogs of all different breeds.Before Dog boarding I used to look after friends and family’s dogs whilst they were away and took the leap to join officially through rover. I have a papillon now called Harvey and he likes to play has lots of fun to play with other dogs big or small , dogs seem to love coming to mine has its going from home to home without the upset or pining for there owners while they are away , they have way too much fun with toys and walks around the woods that’s backed onto me. Start the day by letting the dogs out, feeding them, and having breakfast. After that, take them for a good morning walk so they can get some exercise and explore. Once you're home, spend some time playing with them, whether it's fetch, tug, training, or games in the garden. While they rest, you can do your household jobs, relax, or enjoy a hobby. Later in the day, have lunch and enjoy some quiet time together. In the afternoon, give the dogs another play session or some enrichment, such as puzzle toys or scent games, followed by a shorter walk. In the evening, feed the dogs, have your dinner, and spend time relaxing together before taking them out for one final toilet break before bed. This keeps them active, happy, and settled throughout the day. I have quite a big garden. Patio and artificial grass which is fenced off. Very Secure Garden lots of room to play around there and squeaky toys and balls and beds to sunbathe 😜

I’m also available most evenings and weekends, and I occasionally work from home. On Fridays I finish at 12pm, so I have even more flexibility then. I’m a big fan of getting outside and especially love being at the beach, so if your dog enjoys a good walk, a bit of exploring or a trip somewhere new, even better! I’m also happy to care for dogs who are comfortable being left for a few hours while I’m at work, as long as that fits their usual routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I know how difficult it can be leaving your dog with someone new, so I want them to feel safe, settled and comfortable in my care. I’m a dog owner myself, so I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and little quirks. About: I have grown up around animals and have owned a variety. I’ve had the likes of dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs just to name a few. Most recently I have owned a pug and currently live with a golden retriever. I have a lot of knowledge about flat faced breeds and know how to best care for them. I have a lot of free time at the moment being in between jobs so am very flexible with my availability. I will work around what’s best for you and your pet. I will care for your pet as if it was my own. At my house dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the beds so they can have a proper cuddle. I have three beds in the house with room for their own bed if required. I have a fully enclosed garden with a 7ft fence. I also have an open field across the road and a woodlands the other side with running water. I will make sure to feed your dog as many times as needed throughout the time they are with me. There are two fresh water bowls throughout the house and one in the back garden as well so that there is always access to water. I usually keep my back door open throughout the summer time so that Olive (my friends dog) can go in and out when she pleases, as well as her swimming pool under the shade of a giant canopy. If you would like me to sit in your own home I will treat it with the upmost respect. I like to keep things clean and tidy and will leave your home as I came into it. Leave no trace.

About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby. My nan cared for retired guide dogs for around 20 years, so I developed a strong love and adoration for dogs. My family has owned 2 dogs since I was a child, sadly our last dog passed away 2 years ago and my family and I have felt like a part of us has been missing ever since. No dog could replace our sweet Lionel, he was the most special dog ever, but I decided to start up a dog boarding business as a way to still surround us with dogs. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs many times as favours before I started my business and that’s what really pushed me to have the confidence to do this as a job. If you choose to have me as your dog boarder, you can be assured that your dog will be treated like family and will be given so much love and care. I am available everyday of the week as this is my sole job. I do volunteer most mornings of the week, however I live in a house of 6 people so it is very rare that no one is home. I am fully licensed by Southampton City Council, so my house and garden have been completely approved and catered to suit dog boarding. I also have a Canine First Aid certification, full insurance and DBS checked.
