Sophie kept us updated throughout our pups stay with her. Lots of beautiful pictures and reassurance that they were absolutely fine and in excellent hands. When we picked the girls up you could instantly tell how much they had warmed to her, so much so that Dottie laid on her back for more belly rubs from Sophie rather than us 😂. Their family dog Theo is so friendly and welcoming to new doggies in his house and it’s lovely that when we go away now, not only do our dogs have human company, they also have another 4 legged friend to play with! Will definitely be using Sophie for all our future boardings and would recommend people to do the same.

Monica has been an absolute superstar, she’s taken amazing care of our little puppy who has come home completely exhausted after a fun filled stay. We were sent load of pics and videos of Winnie and monica made the whole experience so easy, it’s the first time we’ve left her and we were able to relax knowing that our pup was having a super fun time too! Thanks Monica, we will be seeing you again soon! X

Mabel recently stayed with Joanne and her family. I sent her packing (a little nervous due to it being my first rover) and with a million warnings about what she MIGHT do! 🤣 Turns out Mabel was an absolute dream so they must have been brilliant at looking after her. I had regular updates and pictures. Timings were sorted out easily and we kept in touch via Whatsapp. Joanne has a really secure garden - which made me feel so much more comfortable leaving her there. It felt like a home from home setting. I have two children of my own and Joanne's two seemed to love her as much as her own. They were super excited to have her. She was allowed upstairs and just slipped into their family life. She had plenty of walks and was fed well. I wouldn't hesitate at using Jo again! Thanks guys! 🐾🐾

Shadia took my beagle boy Uno overnight and he had a brilliant time. As anyone who knows the breed will tell you, beagles aren’t the easiest! But Shadia was great with him, regularly sending pictures and giving me updates on how he was getting on. Uno also got on brilliantly with Shadia’s retriever, Skye (who is absolutely lovely) and they clearly played endlessly. He came home the next day and went straight into nap mode! Can thoroughly recommend Shadia and will use her services again in future. 😊

My previous experience on Rover (not with Eleanor and Raymond) was horrific, which left me hesitant to leave my dog, Genie, with anybody... When I met Eleanor and Raymond for a meet and greet, they were shocked, compassionate and reassuring - I got a sense they were a good fit for me and Genie. Before the main booking, we agreed to do a trial sleepover to make sure everybody was a good fit and it went great! Eleanor and Raymond are both lovely, I now have peace of mind knowing Genie will be in safe hands going forward

About: I have grown up around animals and have owned a variety. I’ve had the likes of dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs just to name a few. Most recently I have owned a pug and currently live with a golden retriever. I have a lot of knowledge about flat faced breeds and know how to best care for them. Equally I have a lot of knowledge around other breeds particularly smaller ones. I have looked after friends and my families dogs when they have gone away. I have the ability to go to their houses so that their dogs stay in their own environment that’s familiar. I have also had dogs come and stay with me too. I regularly look after my friends dog when she goes to work making sure that her dog is well looked after. I have a lot of free time at the moment being in between jobs so am very flexible with my availability. I will work around what’s best for you and your pet. I will care for your pet as if it was my own. At my house dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the beds so they can have a proper cuddle. I have three beds in the house with room for their own bed if required. I have a fully enclosed garden with a 7ft fence. I also have an open field across the road and a woodlands the other side with running water. I will make sure to feed your dog as many times as needed throughout the time they are with me. There are two fresh water bowls throughout the house and one in the back garden as well so that there is always access to water. I usually keep my back door open throughout the summer time so that Olive (my friends dog) can go in and out when she pleases, as well as her swimming pool under the shade of a giant canopy. If you would like me to sit in your own home I will treat it with the upmost respect. I like to keep things clean and tidy and will leave your home as I came into it. Leave no trace.

Ananda looked after my 2 cockapoos and I cannot express how excellent she was. The boys got walked 3+ times a day. She tailored everything to their needs, from allowing them to sleep on her bed to the quirks they have. I received updates and pictures throughout the day all 5 days! I felt very comfortable to leave my boys with her and her partner. It was obvious how much she adores dogs from our meet and greet before she looked after them I cannot recommend Ananda enough. I will definitely book with her again.

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! My partner George and I recently bought our first home in Eastleigh, and we’re both huge dog lovers. While our work commitments mean we can’t have a dog of our own right now, we’d love to help others by providing caring and reliable dog walking and sitting services. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from a Border Collie to a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix, and now a lovely litte Poochon. I’m very used to grooming needs and making sure coats are well cared for. I also regularly help care for family dogs, including Labradors, so I’m confident with both small and large breeds. Having experienced every stage of a dog’s life, I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies as well as giving extra patience, attention, and love to older dogs. I work full-time across four days a week, which means I’m fully available on Tuesdays and weekends. On my days off, your dog will have my full attention. I’ll always stick to your routine and make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s during a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay. I’m happy to provide as many walks as your dog needs, along with plenty of playtime and attention. They’ll also have access to a secure garden and a safe, dog-friendly home environment. I have a fully fenced, secure garden and plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. I’m also happy to take dogs out in the car for longer walks or new environments if they enjoy that. I always aim to follow your preferences and routine to make sure you feel completely comfortable. My home does have stairs, but these can be safely blocked off if needed. Dogs are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. You’re very welcome to bring their bed, crate, blankets, or anything familiar from home. If your dog is used to cuddling up on the sofa, they’ll be more than welcome to do the same here!

I’ve always been a true dog lover and understand how important it is to know your pet is in safe, caring hands. We love spending time outdoors, with regular walks through the local woods, along the river, and exploring the trees and countryside. Whether your dog enjoys long adventures or a more relaxed stroll, I’ll make sure they get the exercise and attention they need. I offer a genuine home-from-home experience, where your dog will be treated like one of the family. I’ll follow their usual daily routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of cuddles and companionship, helping them feel comfortable, happy, and settled while you’re away. About: I am 18 years old and about to finish a level 3 qualification in animal management which allowed me to develop my knowledge on the care of a wide range of animals including domestics, and I was able to gain more experience with cats and dogs during practical sessions. I was taught how to complete thorough health checks (both visual and physical) to ensure I am able to monitor their health. I have had a cat since I was around four years old and I got a dog around 3 years ago so I am familiar with the typical routine of a domestic pet, plus I have some skills in dog training as I was required to train my dog for an assignment at college. Besides my own pets, I have cared for both cats and dogs since I was young as I would look after friends and family’s pets when they were away. I completed a six month placement at a kennel and cattery, during my first year of college, where I gained hands on experience with administering care for cats and dogs and I was taught to be able to recognise their behaviours and identify when something may be wrong. Last year I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a few months where the majority of my responsibilities involved caring for cats of all ages and temperaments - which included cleaning out, feeding, providing enrichment, and socialising, especially with young or nervous cats. Some of my tasks also involved working with the dogs such as cleaning out, exercising, grooming, providing enrichment, and socialising. I am currently at college 3 days a week, however I am free on Wednesdays, Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays. I may also be available after college in the evenings in some cirumstances. I provide care in the pet owner’s home so that the animal can stay in a comfortable and familiar environment. I follow any specific instructions to ensure their routine is kept the same. I aim to build trust with both the animals and their owners through clear communication and reliability.

About: I have two adopted animals from rescue and one girl I’ve had from a puppy. My eldest has medication and specific washing requirements so I’m used to doing that. I drive so can facilitate vet appointments if needed as required. I work from home, so can work to suit schedules and be near animals as required. I have smaller dogs myself which we can separate if this is something your animal isn’t used to. Having animals myself I understand often complex needs and requirements and can adjust to fit various circumstances as needed. I can familiarise myself with any routine required, and happy to attend beforehand as needed to speak to the owner. I was previously an estate agent, so understand how to lock property safely and take care of the owners space and privacy. I would like to think I am reliable and trustworthy such that it can be one worry less during busy times in your schedule.

About: I'm a dog lover but sadly my work doesn't allow me to have my own so I get my fix by dog sitting for others. I frequently look after dogs for family and friends and have had only positive feedback. I work full time Monday - Friday and one weekend in four. My work is flexible and allows for home and hybrid working giving me availability for walking and drop ins. I generally work from home Monday and Friday and am normally available from 4pm Tuesday - Thursday. My job allows a level of flexibility so if my default calendar isn't showing me as available, please give me a message and we may be able to work something out. I'm an avid hiker and walker so I'm no stranger to long walks in the forest and some canine company would compliment that. I live in a bungalow just a 5 minute drive from the beautiful New Forest and 10 minutes from the local beach. The road I live in is quiet and I am the sole occupier with no pets of my own. I have a fair sized garden which is fully fenced and secure. I treat pets as I would my own and they are allowed on the furniture and the bed. I am a non smoker and maintain a tidy home. I'm strict with their diet so you can rest assured they won't be snacking on food that isn't good for them.

About: I have had a love of animals ever since I can remember, but dogs are my absolute love. I have cared for many over the years, including my own, friends and family. I have all the experience to provide a safe and loving environment for your dog to stay at when you need it. I have experience of many breed types and characters, as well as the knowledge to care for puppies to seniors and dogs with long term illnesses, such as diabetes or pancreatitis. I am home every day, all day and therefore am more than able to provide a tailored routine for your dog. Their needs would be my primary concern. I have a friendly dog who is always happy to have other dogs come to stay or walk with us. They would have the run of the house as our dog does. We have a garden and a wood just across the road to walk in every day.

About: I have taken care of every animal I can think of from snakes, spiders, rats, guinea pigs, fish and of course cats and dogs. I pride myself in offering affordable animal care and since my dogs passing earlier this year, I have found I have an empty space in my heart. I still dog sit for friends and dog walk for them but I'd like to now pursue this as a career with my passion for animals. I do work, so I need to work around my schedule but I do work either mornings or evenings so that is one bonus. I also drive and can take pups out and about to fulfil their energetic needs I am currently unable to offer any stays at my own home due to having 2 cats, one of which is a scaredy cat and is dog savvy but prefers to be without them I work full time which means my availability is limited. I usually book off my rover days so please still enquire but be aware I may need notice:) Also please be aware that there may be additional charges in accordance to the dog sitting request timings As a responsible pet lover, I will ask questions such as whether your pet can be on or off lead. Whether you are expecting visitors. I will always do more than one meet and greet which is free of charge. It is only walking and sitting that I charge for. This is to ensure the dog and I are a good match as your pets trust and comfort is key priority

I chose Sophie for a day care stay for our beloved Maia, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we met them, they were welcoming and friendly. Maia was made to feel part of the family and enjoyed spending time with Sophie, her family, and their lovely dog Theo. It was reassuring to know she was in such a caring and safe environment while we were away. Sophie kept us updated throughout the day and when we picked Maia up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend Sophie and her family to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Maia!

Lauren sent me pictures and videos of storm throughout the day which made me really happy to see her enjoying her day there. I have booked for Storm to go to day care with Lauren and family each Monday. Very happy that storm is with caring people

About: Hi, I’m Jiani, a passionate dog lover based in Southampton. As a proud owner of a miniature Dachshund, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet like family. I have hands-on experience looking after dogs of different ages and personalities, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m reliable, responsible, and organised in my day-to-day work, and I bring the same level of care and commitment when looking after pets. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply keeping to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I can provide regular updates, photos, and messages for complete peace of mind, so you’ll always know how your furry friend is doing. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a dog owner myself, I already structure my day around regular walks, feeding times, play, and companionship. My Dachshund, Robin, is a much-loved member of the family, so I understand the importance of consistency and attention to a dog’s physical and emotional needs. I work locally and have evenings, weekends, and school holidays available, allowing me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll ensure they receive plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I am also happy to provide regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is getting on while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly home where dogs can relax and feel secure. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, needs, and personality to ensure they receive personalised care and attention. As a dog owner myself, I understand the trust involved in leaving your pet with someone else. I will treat your dog as if they were my own, providing plenty of supervision, affection, exercise, and a safe environment. I am happy to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, medication, training, or routines to help your pet feel as comfortable as possible. For boarding and daycare services, I have a friendly Dachshund, Robin, at home. Meet-and-greets can be arranged beforehand to ensure all dogs are comfortable together. I will also provide regular updates and photos, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have a strong love for animals and I understand the importance of making sure you have someone trust worthy to look after your furry friends as I understand how worrying this can be. Since I was young I have cared for my friends and families animals (both cats and dogs) and still continue to regularly. I currently work from home full time Monday to Friday with weekends off work so I have a lot of time to spend with your furry friends and look forward to having their company. I always abide by the owners rules (i.e. amount of walks/feeding times/ whether an animal doesn't like something/whether they need medication at a certain time) other than this, I will give your pet a lot of attention, play time and belly rubs (IF they like it!) :)

About: I’m new to Rover, but I’m not new to caring for dogs. I’ve had dogs in my life for 44 years and currently care for my own elderly dogs (Oscar (15) & Lucy (16)), both of whom have needed a lot of patience, routine and gentle handling as they’ve got older. Through them, I’ve gained real experience with senior dog care, sight loss, reduced hearing, medication routines, mobility issues, and understanding when a dog needs calm reassurance rather than too much fuss. I’ve also looked after puppies & dogs for friends and family, and I’m very comfortable following each dog’s normal routine closely. I know how important the little details are, from feeding times and medication to favourite blankies & toys, walking habits, nervous behaviours and the small things that help a dog feel calm and settled. I don’t think there’s anything quite like a dog. They are funny, loyal, gentle, soulful little creatures who somehow make the world feel better just by being in it. I genuinely believe dogs are one of the best things in life, and caring for them properly is something I take seriously. I work from home Monday to Friday and have a flexible schedule, so I’m around throughout the day for company, toilet breaks, feeding routines, walks and plenty of attention. I’m used to planning my day around dogs and their routines, including set meal times, medication needs, rest time and comfort. Walks can be fitted around my working day, including during my breaks or any walking meetings I have with my team. I am currently offering boarding in my own home, as my own dogs have a calm, steady routine and I’m always close by. I care for dogs in my own home, where I keep things calm, safe and settled. I have two elderly dogs myself, so my home is already built around a gentle routine, quiet care and close supervision. They mostly sleep now and are used to being around dogs from friends and family, including younger dogs, so the house is calm rather than busy. I’m very mindful of helping dogs feel comfortable, especially if they are older, nervous, have medical needs, or simply need a little time to settle in. I will always follow your instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication, walks, toilet breaks, sleeping arrangements and any house rules or quirks your dog may have. Every dog is different, so I’d want to understand what makes them feel safe and happy before they stay. Dogs in my care would have plenty of company throughout the day, as I work from home and am always around. They would not be left alone for long, usually no more than around 15 minutes if I needed to pop to the local shop.

About: I am a qualified dog groomer and work part time in a luxury boarding kennels on Fridays, the other days of the week I work from home doing an admin role and grooming dogs. I have a pet first aid certification which prepares me for emergencies. I was lucky enough to be born into a family with a dog and have adored animals ever since, caring for my own rabbit from the age of 7 and helping to train the family dogs. I have owned my own dog and cared for other dogs as if they were my own. I work from home some days of the week and really enjoy the company of a dog. My house and garden are a decent size and I don’t have any children so your dog will have my full attention. I work from home in an administrative role a few days a week. I also groom dogs in the cabin at the side of my house on some days. Working from home can be a lonely at times which is why I wanted to add more dog sitting to my life. If you have any questions, please reach out! I have a nicely sized grass garden perfect for playing in which is fenced. . I have a crate if needed and can shut the front room door to prevent dogs going upstairs if they need this (young puppies or seniors). I am used to meeting new dogs regularly and learning their own unique behaviours, always taking things at their pace and learning how they feel most comfortable. This experience has come from owning dogs, volunteering at a rescue centre and working with dogs for the past 4 years.

About: I have both professional and personal experience with animals of all kinds, having completed a HE course at an agricultural college i am soon off to uni to start my veterinary nursing course. Last year I worked at a charity that rehomed abandoned and surrendered dogs near north london so I have handled breeds big, small and of varying temperaments and needs. I’m also well versed in puppy, obedience and gundog training as well as ring craft. In regards to those with kitties or other pets, i have lots of husbandry experience, my own leopard gecko, and have had cats in previous years. I’ve got 2 vizslas, Kyro and Circe, one of which is reactive and has been muzzle trained by myself. They are both full of beans and very demanding so rest assured your pet is in good hands. Currently have a clear schedule, looking to fill in my time with repeat visits, walks and time with your furry friends. Mon-Sun availability, overnight visits if needed. We will have a chat and talk about your pets needs and schedule before a visit. Any medication or special care should be disclosed at booking. I always treat other peoples dogs as I would treat my own🐾 I am very flexible and can pretty much do any times that are needed. Just send me a message and I would be sure to help you out. I can cater for any type of animal! I live in a flat but have a garden around the back of the flat which belongs to me and my downstairs neighbours (but they have moved out!) so at the moment, it belongs to me! I do have a 6 month old puppy so if you aren't too sure if your dog would be friendly with mine, please ask as I can try my best to help! If you have any questions please feel free to ask! I am currently in the process of changing my career so I am able to be very flexible and have more than enough time to dedicate to your pets!! I crate trained my dog so more than happy to use crates if required, I would pay as much attention to your dog as needed and walk them however many times they need as well. I would always treat your home with the upmost respect and ensure everything is left as it should be.

Fantastic dog walker! Coped with my dog going off and digging and getting muddy around the face. Very nice person and happy demeanor. My dog was very happy to see her. Sammii walked him two days in a row when I had things on in my life. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

About: Hi! my name is Veronica and I am looking forward to take care of your four legs buddies😚 Both me and my partner are huge dog lovers and we have been dogsitting here in Southampton for a few years. My work hours are quite flexible and I have the opportunity to be at home a lot of time, so whatever your doggie’s routine is, I can adapt to it. Please reach out if you have any questions! I work from home most of the week from 9 to 5 (however, hours are flexible) and I am off on weekends. If I am out for work I will be back within 6 hours - however I’d let the owner know in advance I live in a spacious two bedroom apartment that doesn’t have a garden, however I’m in the city center with plenty of parks around us and there is no issues in going there several times per day!

About: My partner Jacob and I have both had dogs all our lives. We have had Staffies, boxers, spaniels, cross breeds. You name it! We love dogs. We also love and really advocate for dog training knowledge. We are very safe and responsible dog owners and know a lot about dog body language and behaviour. We will always make sure our day revolves around the dogs! They’ll get plenty of exercise, but we love to play with the dogs too - if they want it! Whether that’s a game of chase, tug, or find it. We love to mentally stimulate dogs as it’s so good for their brain. We love a game of hide and seek. Me and my partner work full time but both have the luxury to work from home. I do 2 days a week and my partner can work from home whenever. My work is very flexible and I live a 10 minute walk (1 minute drive) from my office so can attend to the dogs whenever. I am out in the morning for my exercise and my partner does his in the evening, so one of us is always home with the dog! We love to get out steps in before work and after too, so we always get out with the dogs. We have concrete fenced garden with a secure gate. We have doors inside the house that if we open the front door, we ensure the dogs are kept behind a closed door so they cannot get out. We make sure the dogs have everything they need and easy access. We are very tidy and don’t leave mess around or anything for dogs to chew on etc.
