Student looking to give your pets extra love!
I have had pets in my family all my life until I moved away for university and I am missing them so I decided to find some work where I can be around animals again. I have also done various house sitting jobs looking after dogs, cat and even horses. I raised a puppy in 2021 (who lives with my parents for now), he is over 35kg and always full of energy so I am well suited for high energy large dogs - I have a soft spot for Staffies but I adore all breeds of dogs.

I aim to provide the same quality of care that you provide for your own pets, ideally I would not disrupt their schedules and carefully follow all the information given to me about your pet. To me open communication is the key to trust, after all you are leaving my in charge of loving your fur baby!

Amazing! Our first time using Rover and Amber was perfect for our little boy Leo. Plenty of photos and updates and our boy was always happy!
I had the best experience with Amber looking after my cat, Dorie, while my partner Ash and I were away in Croatia. From the start, everything was simple and easy. Communication was quick and clear, and the booking process was straightforward. Amber is very reasonably priced and was always responsive, which immediately gave us confidence we’d made the right choice. Before we even booked, Amber kindly came round to our house to meet us over a coffee and spend time with Dorie. That really stood out and made us feel completely at ease about leaving her in someone else’s care. While we were away, Amber kept us updated every day with messages, photos, and videos, as well as clear updates on when she visited and left. She also had no issue at all administering Dorie’s medication, which was a huge plus for us. The biggest test for us is always how Dorie behaves when we get home. Normally, when we’ve had friends or family look after her, she’s a bit moody or sassy when we return. This time was completely different — she was happy, relaxed, and playful straight away, which says everything about how well she was looked after. As a first-time Rover user, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Amber without hesitation. She gave us real peace of mind while we were away, and we’ll absolutely be using Rover again — and Amber specifically if she’s available — for all future trips.
Amber was an amazing sitter for our two spaniels. They went on some lovely walks and we were updated throughout the sit. She sat at our house and you could see she showed it the most respect. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amber enough and will most certainly use her services again in the future.
Amber is incredibly reliable and caring. My cat absolutely adores her, and I always feel at ease knowing he’s in her hands. She’s respectful, attentive, and sends plenty of lovely photos during each visit.
Amber was fantastic, Cooper has a firm favourite already with those smiles she managed capture!
Amber has been reliable, friendly and has looked after Georgie well.

Schedule
I am a university student and a lot of my studying is done online which allows me to be very flexible and work around you and your pet's needs. I have my own car so it would be easy for me to pop over as often as needed.
