“We left our nine-month staffy Islay overnight with Jo and she had a fantastic time. I was a bit nervous to leave her but Jo was incredibly kind. A few days beforehand she met us for a walk to see how Islay is getting on with everyone. Islay absolutely adored staying overnight with Jo’s family and her dog. She had a blast playing and getting all the attention. They even included Islay in their weekend plans and she spent loads of time outdoors with the whole family. I received regular updates from Jo and I felt so relaxed knowing she was happy and enjoying herself. I’ll definitely be leaving Islay with Jo again in the future. About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby. My nan cared for retired guide dogs for around 20 years, so I developed a strong love and adoration for dogs. My family has owned 2 dogs since I was a child, sadly our last dog passed away 2 years ago and my family and I have felt like a part of us has been missing ever since. No dog could replace our sweet Lionel, he was the most special dog ever, but I decided to start up a dog boarding business as a way to still surround us with dogs. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs many times as favours before I started my business and that’s what really pushed me to have the confidence to do this as a job. If you choose to have me as your dog boarder, you can be assured that your dog will be treated like family and will be given so much love and care. I am available everyday of the week as this is my sole job. I do volunteer most mornings of the week, however I live in a house of 6 people so it is very rare that no one is home. I am fully licensed by Southampton City Council, so my house and garden have been completely approved and catered to suit dog boarding. I also have a Canine First Aid certification, full insurance and DBS checked.

About: I’ve always loved dogs and dreamed of having one of my own, so getting my first dog at 22 was very special to me. My family’s much-loved Black Labrador is now 9, and although I’ve lived on my own for the past three years, I still look after him regularly. I’m very involved in his care, from long, adventurous walks in the New Forest to grooming and administering his medication. Since then, I’ve also had the pleasure of looking after numerous dogs for friends and neighbours, including long walks, day care and multiple overnight stays. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, happy and cared for while their owners are away. I'm treating my puppy like my baby and I was so much sick worried to leave him for long 4 days away from us... But from first phone conversation, through our first meeting, the vibe was amazing! Home and environment is totally dog and puppies friendly. Honestly, he even didn't feel we were gone. He had daily portion of fun, food always on time, walkies and what more important LOVE and understanding if he had poop accident at home etc. We had daily reports and tones of videos and pictures! “Fluke and Juliana watched our 2 ragdoll boys whilst we were getting our floors laid for 2 nights/3 days and I could not recommend them enough! They kept us updated with regular photos/videos during the days and had such a lovely area of their home prepared for them! It can be a bit scary trusting your pet with a stranger and bringing them to their home, but my boys took to them so well and they came home just as happy as when they left. We recently went on holiday and left our cat, Shadow, in her more-than-capable hands, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very first "meet and greet" before we left, we knew Shadow was in good hands. Shadow can sometimes be a bit discerning with new people, but he immediately took a shine to Natalie. Her calm, warm energy was evident right away, and seeing them bond so quickly gave us total peace of mind before we even headed out the door. While we were away, Natalie was absolutely incredible. She didn't just "check in"; she truly looked after him with such genuine affection. We were treated to: Daily Updates: We never had to wonder how he was doing. Photos & Videos: Natalie sent us frequent clips and pictures that truly captured Shadow’s personality. Total Reliability: Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She managed everything with a "can-do" attitude that made our holiday much more relaxing. The real proof, however, was in the homecoming. We returned to a relaxed, well-fed, and incredibly happy cat. It was clear that Shadow hadn't just been looked after—he’d been pampered. We would 100 percent not hesitate to book Natalie again in the future. She is a rare find and a total gem for any pet owner. “Ultimately Hannah did a good job looking after my cats. However, I was saddened to only find out mid-sit that she hadn't been staying overnight, which is what I had booked. Initially she only said she hadn't felt comfortable staying over night and when I asked why and if there was anything I could do to help, she stated "I really hope you don’t take this the wrong way, as it’s certainly not a criticism just a difference in life styles. I really appreciate that you also provided towels and fresh sheets, however I am struggling with the cleanliness of the house. The property was not clean as expected, because of that I found it hard to stay the night. I don’t wish to offend you in anyway, but I would rather be honest, just from my personal opinion" I will always take accountability when I should and of course apologised (because I always want people to feel good in my home). However, my parents and I HAD deep cleaned the house the day before the sit started (the only room I left out was my meditation room as I'm in the process of rearranging/ redecorating it) so I was also shocked that Hannah felt this way. It has made me realise how important it is to meet sitters beforehand to check that everything is satisfactory and ask them to contact me immediately if there are any issues. I do recommend Hannah as she did stay at the house for a couple of hours every morning and all evening so the floofs weren't left alone for more than 9hrs at a time (I had said they were OK to be left for upto 12hrs during the day), provided photos and was very apologetic.”

About: I have 2 female labradors in the house (5 years and her daughter 1 year). I have bred a litter and so am experienced looking after young puppies. I’m retired, so I’m in the house most of the day. My dogs get taken on safe enclosed walks an hour long each day. I have a big house/garden for the dogs to relax and play in. I’m up around 8am and go for an hours walk with the dogs around 9-10am Pottering around the garden during the day Afternoon walk with the dogs (hot weather depending, else it’s a walk after 9pm) I’m retired and so lots of time can be spent with the dogs. I have a large fenced garden and 2 lovely tempered female Labradors (5 and 1) I’ll treat your pet like my own and they will have full roaming of garden and house I have stair gates, if you prefer your dogs to stay downstairs

About: Dogs have always played a central role in my life. Having grown up with canine companions, I would gladly have a pack of my own right now if my current schedule allowed it. Since my job involves a mix of remote work and occasional travel, caring for your dogs in the meantime is the absolute next best thing! Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience looking after a wide variety of breeds and sizes, ranging from larger dogs like German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers to smaller or more energetic breeds like Corgis, Cocker Spaniels, Staffies, Cockapoos, and Italian Greyhounds. Because I am home-based for the majority of my work week, your furry family members will have constant company and supervision if you book boarding or doggy daycare. I can also easily adapt my schedule to accommodate flexible dog walking arrangements. Before any stay begins, I always prefer to arrange an initial meet-and-greet so you can visit, check out the space, and feel completely confident about where your pet will be staying. About: I have had dogs my whole life and got a puppy a year ago so I have recent experience with young dogs too :). I have also worked with horses for 5+years and i’m studying a zoology degree at uni. We also love boarding as it is company for our pup, Scarlett, who is very sociable, and loves to curl up with a doggy friend on the sofa after a day full of fun. I have a fenced garden, with access to a large open field just a two minute walk away. We have an elderly cat who lives happily upstairs. There will plenty of company for your dog(s). 😊
About: Hiya👋 I'm Gayle and I was Mr Ziggy Whippet's companion for 13 years, he was a beautiful brindle who sadly passed in May age 13.5. Ziggy was very nervous but with lots of love and gentle encouragement he made many dog and human friends in the Lordswood community. Kindness, love and empathy for animals is at the core of my beliefs and I will treat your dog with all of the above. I feel more comfortable with one dog at a time unless the dogs live together. I regularly walk my friends Lurcher Bluey, he is a happy and confident dog and enjoys off lead time, if your dog is not ok off the lead I am happy to book a secure field so he/she can have a good zoomies. I have a daughter who is 14 and she adores dogs too, she is sensible, kind and accommodating to the needs of different doggy characters. I work part-time as a Special Needs Passenger Assistant, I'm out the house mon to fri 8am to 9.30am and then 2.20pm to 4pm. I am then around for the rest of the day when I have a dog staying. I'm free all weekend. I have a fenced garden and also live right next to the woods in a quiet neighbourhood. I am happy for dogs to go on the sofa and beds.

About: Just a furbaby mama looking to look after other furbabies. I currently have a 18 month old German Shorthaired Pointer, we have had her since 12 weeks old. I spend around 3+ hours per day taking her out on walks, paddle boarding, wild swimming. We regularly meet up with other dog groups for walks in the New Forest. I work full-time across four days a week, which means I’m fully available on Tuesdays and weekends. On my days off, your dog will have my full attention. I’ll always stick to your routine and make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s during a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay. About: Hi, I’m Eliza and I’m 19. I’ve had a golden cocker spaniel in the household for about 5 years now - we got her in 2021, when she was 4 months old (an adorable tiny puppy!) and I was 14. She’s now 5 years old so I’ve pretty much grown up with her, so I have experience with dogs of all different ages. I would prefer to look after small and medium-sized dogs and I’m used to them pulling on the lead (my dog does it all the time!) but open to walking larger dogs too, as long as they aren’t too strong on the lead. About: Before I moved onto public apps, I have had a lot of experience with looking after pets whether it's my own or a family members or a friend's. I've looked after my aunt's dog for long weekends staying over at her house, walking twice a day and playing in the garden. I've spent a couple of weeks travelling to a friend's house to look after and walk their dog for the afternoon whilst they are at work. Molly is a high maintenance cockerpoo and it's always a fun time with her. We go for hour long walks or adapt accordingly by playing inside whilst the weather has been too hot to take her out during the day. Our family own a rescued Saluki who has behavior issues and I am sometimes left with him on my own. I have easily picked up on how to look after him properly and give him the love, care and attention he needs. I currently have a part-time job every Sunday between 10 and 4. Throughout the week, I only have one evening commitment which is my volunteering for my local Brownie unit. During University term time, I am unavailable Mondays, Fridays and Thursday mornings. During holidays, my weekdays are flexible. Due to my family's situation with our dogs behavioural issues, I am unfortunately unable to provide services at my own home. However, when I travel to other homes to care for pets, I always make sure we spend time playing together either inside or outside, feed and go for a walks. I am happy to administer medication orally and if a vet is required I can drive them to your vet. Please leave full details of your vet and any insurance plan you have. Dogs with separation anxiety need a lot of extra care and attention and I can talk with you at a meeting beforehand to discuss the best ways to calm your dog so they are at ease in their own home with someone they don't know. For your dog's safety, I always do leads on a walk.

About: Hiya, my name is Catherine. I grew up with a gorgeous nova scotia duck tolling retriever called Purdy. We got her when I was 7/8. I loved growing up with a dog and helping with walking, playing and training. I was with Purdy when she was a playful puppy to a sassy dog and then when she sadly passed away. My parents now have another toller who is 1 years old, it’s been amazing to experience the puppy phase again. I am currently working a zero hour contact as a bank registered nurse within the NHS. About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby. My nan cared for retired guide dogs for around 20 years, so I developed a strong love and adoration for dogs. My family has owned 2 dogs since I was a child, sadly our last dog passed away 2 years ago and my family and I have felt like a part of us has been missing ever since. No dog could replace our sweet Lionel, he was the most special dog ever, but I decided to start up a dog boarding business as a way to still surround us with dogs. I am fully licensed by Southampton City Council, so my house and garden have been completely approved and catered to suit dog boarding. “Qi and her husband were absolutely fantastic with my boy Archie. Qi was quick to contact me when he appeared to have a limp and was reluctant to go down the stairs but after letting her know that Archie was in fact putting on the limp for attention, she was put at ease. I left Archie with Qi on bonfire night and she was brilliant in comforting him with the loud noises. We had a few laughs about Archie's antics for attention and Qi sent some lovely pictures of Archie with herself and her husband. When I collected Archie, it was clear that he had been very happy with Qi and her husband and they expressed how much they had loved having him to stay.
