“We couldn’t have found a better holiday home for Bonnie than with Rene and Robert. We knew instantly that she would be treated as part of the family and when we picked her up we could see how comfortable she’d made herself. Thank you so much and for all the walks by the sea…her favourite place to be. And thank you for all the updates and pictures.”

About: Having grown up with dogs all my life, and 40 years of owning my own dogs, I can offer your dog a safe, caring and loving holiday. I have 2 Cocker Spaniels and have experience in training and breeding. I have recently retired from 40 years of being a staff nurse and now have the time to devote to caring for doggies. I have recently retired from 40 years as a nurse, so have lots of free time to walk, play and cuddle the dogs. I can offer long or short walks and am always down on Stokes Bay for walks with my dogs, come rain or shine. I have a fully enclosed fenced garden, With 2 Cocker Spaniels of my own. "Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is clean, secure, and dog-friendly, with plenty of space to relax and play. I make sure all hazardous items, foods, and small objects are kept safely out of reach, and dogs are always supervised during play and feeding times.l only accept a limited number of dogs at once so each pet gets individual attention and care. Walks are always done on-lead unless agreed otherwise and I follow each owner's instructions carefully regarding routines, diet, and medications. I also provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for more than 15 years and have loved every minute of it. Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent many years looking after my own dogs and understand how important it is to keep them happy, safe and comfortable. I currently have two friendly dogs who are a big part of my family. Archie is 3 years old, and Lottie is the newest member of our family at just 1 year and 2 months old. They are both spayed and extremely friendly with other dogs. If your dog enjoys company, they’ll have two lovely playmates to spend the day with, whether that’s playing in the garden, going for walks, or simply relaxing together. Looking after Archie and Lottie has given me daily experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and making sure dogs feel safe, comfortable and loved. I understand that every dog has its own personality and routine, so I’ll always follow your instructions to help them feel at home. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone new, which is why I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can see how they’re getting on and enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving and happy home where your dog will receive plenty of attention, affection and care until you’re back together. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. During your dog’s stay, I’ll be at home with them, so they won’t be left alone. My own dogs are my priority every day, and I plan my routine around feeding times, walks, playtime and making sure they get the exercise they need. Living close to the beach and several lovely parks means I can take the dogs on enjoyable walks in different places, depending on their needs and your preferences. Because Archie and Lottie already have a regular routine, it’s easy to welcome another dog into our day. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, they’ll have two friendly playmates to spend the day with. There will be plenty of time for play, cuddles, rest and companionship, so they always feel loved and cared for. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can see how they’re getting on and have complete peace of mind while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always come first. Before every stay, I’ll ask about their routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, any medications, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. I’m also happy to arrange a meet and greet before booking. This gives you and your dog the chance to visit my home, meet me, Archie and Lottie, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before the stay. My home is clean, safe and dog friendly, and I always supervise dogs while they’re together to make sure everyone is happy and getting along. Archie and Lottie are both very friendly and enjoy meeting other dogs, but I’ll always introduce them calmly and at their own pace. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks and any special instructions. Dogs will always have fresh water, a comfortable place to rest, plenty of love and attention, and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. I’ll also send regular photos and videos, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away.

“Sandra has been fabulous! She looked after my 1yr old Cavapoo and he loved it!! She gave me updates to keep me in the loop with what they were up to along with pictures to match. It has been a great first time experience using a dog sitter thanks to Sandra.”

“This is the first time our cookie has gone to a sitter and Clare was amazing with him. I knew as soon as I met her he was in safe hands. Was sent updates and pictures which was nice and meant we could relax and enjoy our son’s wedding. Thank you Clare”

“Gertie and Teddy had the best time with Sofia and family. Sofia sent regular pics and updates and loved them like her own. I would highly recommend Sofia.”

“Codi is always so happy to visit Pauline, we drop him off and he doesn’t give us a 2nd glance !! He has lots of toys to play with and it’s obvious how Pauline enjoys having dogs around her.”

About: My husband and I are huge animal lovers, and caring for pets is something we genuinely enjoy. We recently lost our beloved dog, Maya, who was part of our family for 17 years, so we understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust. We’re quite experienced at looking after both dogs and cats and always treat them as if they were our own. As I currently have plenty of time at home, your dog will enjoy at least two walks a day, lots of playtime, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. We always follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel safe, happy, and relaxed. We also have a secure, fenced green garden where dogs can safely play and enjoy fresh air. Our home is spacious, with a large living room that gives plenty of room for relaxing, stretching out, and feeling comfortable indoors. You’ll always be able to reach me, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind. I also hold an enhanced DBS check for additional reassurance. We’d love to welcome your pet into our home and give them all the love, care, and attention they deserve. I’m normally a teacher, but I’m currently on my school holiday, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m home most of the day, which means your pet will receive lots of attention, company, and regular care rather than being left alone for long periods. I can easily adapt to their usual routine, whether that’s walks, feeding times, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable, I always take the time to learn about their usual routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, favourite toys, and any special requirements so I can keep things as familiar as possible. In my home, pets will have a clean, calm, and secure environment with plenty of attention and companionship. We also have a secure garden where dogs can enjoy time outside under supervision. I carefully make sure your pet stays happy, comfortable, and stress-free. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always put their safety and wellbeing first.
“I was a little apprehensive about leaving Lola with anyone as this was the first time, but having met Christine beforehand it put my mind at ease. Lola was well looked after, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Christine to anyone. I was kept up to date with a text message or a pic and I think Lola also felt at ease in the house. A big thank you for taking so much care of her. Lola + Karen,❤️”

“Oliwia was fantastic 👏 we met prior to introduce Patch and ourselves and nothing was too much trouble! Excellent feedback and communication when we were away and plenty of pup pics 📸 which was reassuring!! Patch came back as happy as he left so thank you so much for really looking after him....he really enjoyed all his walks and attention you both gave! Would recommend Oliwia to anyone and we will certainly see if Patch can have some more sleepovers in the future!!! Thank you Cheryl and Pete and Dog Licks from Patch 🐾🐶”

About: Hi, I’m a retired dog lover living with my husband and our own friendly dog. As I’m home full-time, your dog will never be left alone and will be part of a calm, loving home. We’ve had dogs since 2006, and I volunteered as a dog walker for the RSPCA, so I’m confident with many breeds, reading body language, and supporting anxious dogs, including those with separation worries. We live close to the beach, and your dog will enjoy regular walks, often twice a day, plus time in our secure enclosed garden. Walks can be on or off lead, depending on your dog’s recall and your wishes. I offer a caring, structured environment with plenty of attention and affection. Dogs aren’t allowed on the furniture, to help maintain consistency in our home. For the safety and comfort of all dogs in my care, I only accept neutered males and spayed females, and every booking starts with a meet and greet, to make sure we are the right fit. My aim is to provide a genuine home from home, where you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy and well cared for. I’m at home full-time, so daycare and dog sitting fit easily into my everyday routine. With my own dog, I’m already out on regular walks often along the beach, and I can adapt to your dog’s usual routine. It means your dog gets attention throughout the day in a calm, consistent setting. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I offer a calm home environment with a secure garden, constant supervision, and a consistent routine. I generally only take one dog at a time. If you have two dogs that live together and need care, this can be discussed. Walks are tailored to your dog’s needs, with careful assessment before any off-lead time. Every stay starts with a meet and greet, to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed.
“Claire and her family welcomed our 2 dachshunds Willow and Olive into their home and making them part of the family. Willow and Olive were unsettled at night( (at 10 months old, this was the first time away from us) Claire slept downstairs, giving our girls reassurance. We received regular updates with photos which were lovely. I will book again without hesitation🐾🐾🐾❤️ xx”

“Both of my dogs love staying with Elspeth, and she treats them incredibly well. Always great with her communication, kind and caring with the dogs, she is also great at giving us ideas and tips that help us continue to training our puppy. We can’t ask for better and would highly recommend Elspeth.”

“cookie enjoyed her stay and natalie's she loved every minute of it from the long walks to the late night cuddles will definitely be staying in contact with her and using her again in the future brilliant service and great price and always sent photos and sent me updates on how cookie was doing thank you so much lovely was an amazing time away and cookie also had an amazing mini holiday tooo ☺️”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my senior dog with Christos and Kyriacos. They are polite, responsible, and genuinely caring. I was regularly updated and sent plenty of photos of my dog enjoying his stay. They quickly won my dog over, who is picky about who he trusts, showing they made a real effort to connect with him. I could even tell he missed them when he returned home. I will definitely be reaching out to Christos and Kyriacos when I next need a sitter and recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pet sitting and peace of mind.”

“Poppy had a lovely stay in your welcoming family home! Great communication from the initial meet & greet, to lots of photo updates whilst I was away. Will definitely book again, thank you 😊”

About: We've had cocker spaniels in our family for around 18 years. Our 2 dogs lived a happy life with lots of walks locally in Whiteley and many trips to the beach for a run around and a swim. They lived until they were old ladies (14 &15). Our daughters have 3 dogs between them, who come to visit us a lot and this is their second home. We love having them around (2 cocker spaniels and a staffie). Your dog will get walks in the nearby woods/paths and plenty of time in our secure garden. Trips further afield at the weekends too if your dog is happy to travel in the car. If not, Whiteley has a lot of options for exercise. I work from home most of the week as does my husband Brian. There will always be one of us here for your dog throughout the day and night. Your dog will be a part of our family life and it will be our pleasure to look after them. I work from most most of the time, as does my husband. Your dogs will get an early morning walk and will have attention throughout the day. We have a large enclosed garden where they can play and snooze. Walks in the evening too and they will be free to enjoy the family home. Our garden is enclosed and side gate will be locked when dogs are at home with us. Our family have dogs and they may well visit when your dogs are here with us.

About: My partner and I have experience looking after both small and medium-sized dogs. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I learned the responsibility that comes with owning a pet and making sure they are happy, healthy, and well cared for. We’ve cared for our friends’ dogs on several occasions, from a few days to a few weeks while they were away or needed an extra helping hand. We made sure they were fed on schedule, taken for at least two walks a day, had plenty of playtime, and received lots of love and attention. We understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so we’ll always follow your instructions and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. We’ll care for your dog just as we would our own. I work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available most weekdays outside of work, as well as evenings and weekends. I know how important it is to find someone reliable, so I’ll always do my best to fit around your schedule and keep you updated while you’re away. My husband and I live in a cosy, pet-friendly flat where your pet will be treated like part of the family. We looked after our own cat for many years, and we’ve also cared for our friends’ and family’s pets whenever they needed a helping hand. Our home is clean, safe, and free from anything that could be dangerous for pets. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while they’re with us.

“Both our kittens were extremely happy and comfortable with Cat, who was so attentive and caring. Communication was reliable and often–I felt so secure and stress-free knowing they were so well looked after. Thanks again! ”

“Bev has been amazing and my cats love her. Updated with photos everyday of my cats and also other bits for the house, I couldn't of asked for more. Bev will be my go to sitter from here on out.”

“Keighley did a great job as always at looking after Pippi while we went away for a week. She made time in her busy set of bookings to come and feed and clean up after Pips for us and kept us updated with consistent communication and photos using the Rover card feature. Voiced her concerns around Pippi not eating as much as expected and afterwards was helpful in adjusting her feeding amounts and instructions without complaint. Reliable as always and much appreciated, thank you! X”

“It was such a relief to know our cat Cleo was well looked after while we were away. Cleo really took to Sally and didnt appear to miss us at all! Sally sent us daily updates and photos of her playing and giving her cuddles and headbutts 😄 Will definitley use her services again. Thanks Sally! X”

About: I have lots of experience with our purring buddies. I’ve given ln Insulin to my partner cat who had diabetes. Rescued cats with behavioural needs. I am calm and adaptable. I’ve been looking a couple of cats in my local area when they are on holiday.

“Kirsty is absolutely amazing with my nervous dog, and very respectful and considerate. I messaged Kirsty first to explain about my dog to see if she is comfortable watching her, and she came for a couple of meet and greets to ensure that my dog is comfortable and happy before Kirsty watched her whilst I was out for the day. She was very attentive to everything I asked of her, and ensured to take notes to make sure that nothing got missed. I loved the photo updates Kirsty sent to me throughout the day and I am so pleased at how quickly my dog became comfortable around her, especially as she does usually take quite a bit of time to warm up to strangers. I am looking forward to asking Kirsty to watch my dog again so I can enjoy a stress free day out, knowing that my dog is in very safe hands!”

“Lorraine was absolutely fantastic whilst looking after my 5 month old kitten! Really prompt in replies and couldnt help enough.. especially when I had to book at short notice. If i could give more than 5 stars i would!”

“Charlotte came to look after our 3 playful kitties and they clearly loved their time with her! She fed and played with them and kept us updated with lots of pictures of our furr babies. She did a introductory visit to meet the cats and find out where all their stuff was in the house too. Very professional and friendly throughout our experience with her. Thank you, Charlotte!”

“Cats were well looked after, relaxed and ate well. They were fed, given fresh water and their litter trays dealt with as requested. Home was left tidy and the rubbish was taken out. She even put our wheelie bin out ready for rubbish collection. Great service. Much nicer than putting the cats in a cattery. Easy to organise and had regular messages with pictures to reassure us that everything was fine. Would definitely use again.”

About: My first pet was a cat when I was just 2 years old. She was beautiful, and had many litters of kittens! I even held her whilst she gave birth a few times! I also have experience with looking after sphinx cats

About: Bald or fluffy, I love all cats. I have experience caring for both indoor and outdoor cats of my own, so I’m very familiar with litter trays and the less glamorous side of cat care, including the occasional “gift” of mice, bats, or newts. I’ve cared for sphynx cats, peterbalds, and ragdolls many times, and I’ve also helped socialise cats through RSPCA work. I’m confident administering oral medication as well as flea and tick treatments where needed. Otherwise, I’m just as happy to keep them company while they nap in the sunshine and quietly admire them (without disturbing their very important sleep schedule!).

“Absolutely love it when Amelia looks after Penny, can completely relax while I'm away and know that she is in good hands! Penny adores it when she visits doing many roly polys! Thankyou so much again for looking after her, would give more stars if I could :)”

“Paige stepped in to help us at the last moment on a bank holiday weekend after our plans fell apart. She met our dogs and they loved her. She went above and beyond for us all weekend. The dogs were so happy and therefore so were we. We asked so much of Paige and she delivered more than we could possibly have wished for. Thank you thank you Amazing job.”

“Aaron is amazing ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great updates on Vinnie when he visits, his care for Vinnie is fabulous, I would highly recommend Aaron. His communication is great, very responsive. Vinnie has a new pal!! ?”

About: It usually takes 10-15 minutes to feed my cats because they have different dietary needs and one won't eat unless I'm sat next to her. I also have a cat with diabetes so I'm used to following strict feeding routines (I also give him insulin every 12 hours but I'm not comfortable doing that for other cats). I know some cats take longer to eat than others so I'm happy to wait until they finish. I've had my cats ever since they were kittens and my oldest is 12. Their names are Ace, Rimuru, Peanut, and Toby! I rarely have commitments and I drive so I'll almost always be able to accept your request. I'm 28 years old, I enjoy painting and drawing and I like video games.
About: I had a cat for 12 years and have a dog (cockapoo) who is 4 years old. I also have a cocker spaniel who is nearly 2 (he lives with my mum in a different property) I have such a massive love for all animals, especially dogs and am also a huge cat lover. I would love for nothing more than to help people out by doing something that I’ve always loved - caring for animals. Very skilled at caring for puppies/dogs, kittens/cats. Looking at my photos you can see my own dog Poppy the apricot Cockapoo, and a variety of other dogs that I am around quite frequently, as small as Dachshund or as big as a Doberman. I’m very flexible and will ensure all instructions or preferences from the owner are carried out. I think this is very important to ensure the pet is staying in the habits the owner would like. For example, not being allowed on beds if the owner is training the dog to not jump on beds. I am looking to provide services of dog walking, drop ins and overnight stays in the owners home. I can drive which makes me even more flexible, I can therefore drive pets to different walking destinations (only if the owner confirms this is okay - owner could provide a dog cage for the car if necessary). I will give my undivided attention to the pet and care for them as if they were my own. Overall I just love animals and would love to help people out! I work full time, but from home,!meaning I am able to come and look after your dog/cat during the week and be at home all day with them caring for them. I work from just a laptop so no set up required, just WiFi! In regards to dog walks I have an hour lunch and can do mornings or after work. I have had pets most of my life and know how important it is to make sure they are safe at all times. This mainly entails making sure they are in a safe environment e.g doors shut and keeping them in areas they are not able to just run out of.

“Sandy and Bruce were amazing! I can’t thank her enough for looking after lady who came home happy and tired every night and was so happy to go back every time! Great home from home if your nervous about leaving your fur baby!”

“Pauline is absolutely lovely! She takes great care of our puppy, Mavis, and is very flexible. Pauline’s house and garden are secure and right from our first meeting I’ve had no concerns. Mavis gets excited when I start to pack her bag because she knows she’s going to Paulines’s and is always very happy to see her - that speaks for itself about the care she receives and the fun she has! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pauline.”

About: I’m a nurse working bank shifts alongside my passion for animal care. I’ve owned reactive dogs for many years, so I understand the importance of calm handling, patience, routine and being constantly aware of surroundings while out walking. Early 5am quiet walks, off-the-beaten-track trails and avoiding stressful situations for dogs are something I’m very used to. We are a family home with children, so any dogs staying with us would need to be comfortable around children and a normal family environment. I offer gentle, reliable pet care with daily beach walks, peaceful hikes and a focus on making every dog feel safe, relaxed and happy. No other animals in the home. We only have one boarding dog at a time unless dogs come from the same house hols. I will be sole care for the dog during its stay. 5:00am – Quiet early morning walk 6:00am – Breakfast and calm rest time 8:00am – Garden play, enrichment or sniff games 10:00am – Beach walk or quiet countryside hike 12:00pm – Rest and nap time in the home 2:00pm – Toilet break and gentle play 4:00pm – Short afternoon walk or enrichment activities 6:00pm – Dinner time 7:00pm – Family time, cuddles and settling for the evening 9:00pm – Final toilet break and bedtime Our home has a fully enclosed garden and is just a 5 minute walk from the beach, perfect for calm daily walks and outdoor time. We are a relaxed family home with children, so dogs staying with us would need to be comfortable in a family environment. Your dog would not be left alone for long periods and would be treated as part of the family, with plenty of company, care, exercise and quiet time to settle and relax.

Good sized back garden with high fences. Tall dog gates on doorways. Extra large K9 Comfort sofa dog beds (ultra comfortable and supportive). And XL fluffy donut beds. About: Hello, I’m a part-time freelance Graphic Designer who works from home, but I very often find myself twiddling my thumbs during the day, so I have lots of spare time to care for your dogs! I’ve always been a huge lover of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I owned a very lovely, lively border collie, so have plenty of experience looking after and walking highly energetic and intelligent dogs that require lots of attention, play and exercise. I’ve also been part of another dog walking service for a few years and active on Rover for 5 years, so I have lots of experience looking after other people’s dogs and know how to make sure they are happy and at ease in a new and strange environment. I’m a very active and outdoor-loving person, so very happy to take dogs on long countryside walks as well as city strolls. I can be very flexible with bookings and hope to get in contact with owners on a long term basis. Hope to meet you and your pets soon! I work part time, so I have plenty of time to look after your pet, and love to take the time for a decent walk on the beach or in the woods so everyone gets lots of fresh air and exercise every day. I have a toddler in childcare three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday), so on these days I will need to factor in drop off and pick up. Otherwise my schedule is very flexible. I have a safe fenced garden with lots of plants and lawn for dogs to enjoy. My house is open plan so dogs will never feel shut off or left alone anywhere.
About: I have been a proud dog owner since I was young. I currently have two dogs a greyhound and a collie. Both enjoy long walks and regular exercise. I enjoy teaching them some cool tricks and we visit some lovely places such as the beach, woods and local parks.I have taken care of puppies right through to elderly dogs and have experience with challenging and reactive dogs. I work from home a lot and can accommodate around your needs. I spend a lot of time with my dogs and we have exercise everyday fitted into the daily routine I am happy to care for your pups with arrangement in advance. I can offer walks, feeds, daily checks, exercise, and overnight care- please note I offer a 15 min meet and greet at your home or locally if you are a new client to observe your pets where they are most comfortable and to discuss how you would like me to care for your pet and the duties you wish me to do. All dogs will be walked separately. I am flexible and can work from home a lot. I am able to offer short stays at present such as long weekends for day care or sitting depending on dates and preferences. Please bear in mind the house sitting hours schedule I currently work on is 8pm/9pm-8am/9am (distance dependent) and if you require an additional drop in visit/walk throughout the day time this will usually be mid/late afternoon for 30 minutes-1 hour before returning to your property in the evening to sit overnight. I do not offer 24/7 in the home during the day time when house sitting due to outside commitments but they will be exercised well and receive great interaction throughout. Please e sure this is the correct house sitting schedule for your pets before you book to avoid disappointment as I cannot guarantee I can remain in your home all day on a house sit without going out for a short while. Dependent on distance petrol/travel costs will be additional charge (usually 10 miles plus) I have a garden and have access to close by parks, beach and woodland areas. We often drive to the woods or hills if we want a longer walk. I have private sitter insurance. I work but can be flexible. I offer a lot more free time over weekends and half terms dependent on the needs of the dog. I do not offer home boarding at this time. I do enjoy offering house sitting in your home subject to dates and needs of the pet.
About: Grew up with a border collie (lots of long walks and training). I recently lost a Romanian Princess (rescue dog) and want to care for other people's beloved pets (cats and dogs) the way I took care of her. I'm working from home full time. This means I can visit in the morning, lunchtime and evening. Alternatively, I could work from your house (WiFi please). I live with my husband (a bigger live of pets than i) and my 2 year old son. My son is at nursery or other childcare during the week. For boarding or day care, your fur baby wouldn't see him during the weekday. However, he knows to "wave hello and give them some space", they are given separate spaces to eat and rest. I can walk your dog on lead or drive them to a safe location for them to be on or off lead. We could do a little training (commands or sniff). Cuddles as wanted by your pet (cat or dog). I find this question tricky because I care for your pets as they need. Each dog or cat are very different in their wants and needs. Due to childcare responsibilities, and to be fair to my partner, I can only house sit for 1 or 2 nights.
About: I’ve looked after pets for 23 years, and animals have always been part of my everyday life. I live with Gizmo the pug, my permanent shadow who’s convinced my bed belongs to both of us and two cats who think they run the house. Because of that, I’m used to juggling different temperaments, routines, and a lot of personality. Friends, family, and neighbours have relied on me for walking, feeding, meds, bath time, and keeping their pets calm and comfortable. I notice the small things, keep a steady routine, and treat every dog as if they’re part of my own slightly chaotic, very loved little crew. I’m currently a SAHDM (if you know you know). I was made redundant in November so for the foreseeable my life is solely pet focussed I keep things steady, predictable, and low-stress. In my home, pets settle into a calm routine with regular walks, feeding times, and plenty of company. I have a large, secure garden for safe outdoor time, and Gizmo the pug usually acts as the welcoming committee. I manage introductions carefully so every animal feels comfortable. I supervise closely, keep spaces clean, and make sure each pet has its own quiet area to relax.

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have personal experience caring for them. I currently have a chihuahua and have had a Bichon-Poodle mix (a Poochon ☺️) in the past for seven years, so I understand the energy levels and different needs of small-medium breeds. I know how important it is to make dogs feel safe, happy, and enriched, whether it’s a playful or calm walk. I’ll treat your dog like my own, making sure they’re comfortable and cared for every step of the way! I am currently taking a break from work to focus on creating a healthy work-life balance, this therefore gives me plenty of flexibility for dog care! I have the time to offer walks and quality care, whether it’s a regular routine or occasional walks when needed. I live in a flat and have a one year old chihuahua. My home is a calm and safe space and it’s lucky to have several large parks just a few minutes away, perfect for walks and playtime. There’s also a pet shop nearby so I can easily pick up anything needed.

“We used Michaela’s dog boarding services during our holiday in New York City and we can’t thank Michaela and her family enough for the service provided! They made it a stress free holiday for us; we were sent constant photos of Freddo’s adventures with updates day and night. I could tell from day one he was in good hands. I would recommended Michaela to everyone and anyone who has a dog in need of dog boarding services. The dedication she has shown to walk Freddo in the early morning and late evening, to ensure a big dog got constant exercise even in the hot weather the UK has had this week, proved to us how much she loves & cares about dogs. Thank you to Michaela and her family once again, we will 100% be using your service again when needed 😄”

“What a delightful, warm lady. Nothing was too much trouble. Kept me informed even though only had intermittent Internet. Boy clearly happy ad when we needed to return to collect his bed ge actually wanted to go back in and initially was refusing to come off the drive, even when door closed. Recommend without hesitation. Would score higher if I could”

“Sonny seemed happy and relaxed in his surroundings when we collected him. We received regular updates whilst away which were reassuring. Communication was good throughout and we were entirely satisfied that Sonny received all the care and attention he needed. Thank you Kirsty.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and genuinely love caring for them. Growing up with dogs gave me a strong understanding of their behaviour, needs, and personalities, while always having cats has made me confident with independent and more sensitive pets too. I own a nearly 2-year old (*intact male*) Labrador, so am very used to the energy, routine and care that a young dog needs. Over the years, I’ve also looked after and handled family dogs of all sizes and temperaments, so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic walks to calm companionship at home. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while they are with me. I work part-time and am mostly based from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility for time with your furry friends. I’m out every day with my own dog, so regular walks are part of my routine. I do have two young children, so there are school runs to factor in, but I’m available for walks, sitting, and check-ins between 9am and 2:30pm most days. I’m also happy to board friendly dogs over weekends, as long as they’re comfortable around other dogs and children. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority. At home, I have a large, fully fenced garden where dogs can play and explore securely, along with my friendly Labrador who enjoys the company of other dogs. My garden office is open and positioned so I can keep a constant eye on your pet, allowing for regular interaction, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel relaxed and settled. I’m respectful of your space, attentive to your pet’s individual needs, and make sure they receive plenty of care, attention, and exercise while you’re away.
About: Both me and Jack are animal lovers, between us we have grown up with many varied breeds of dogs in our families and have a great amount of experience being around dogs, including training puppies and attending dog training classes. We both currently work 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday. So evenings, Fridays all day and night, Saturdays day and night, and Sundays day and night would be our current availability. We have a one story detached bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac with a decent sized fenced off garden, close to great dog walking routes. This allows us to give your dog plenty of fresh air and exercise whilst also having a quiet indoor environment.
“Ella was the perfect choice for us (& Chello) - she clearly formed a very quick bond with our beloved pooch, sent us regular updates, and returned him happy & well-cared for. We would definitely book her again!”

“Charlie was sad to leave when I picked him up and that that says it all! I got regular updates of Charlie was up to whilst I was working and they kept him entertained. Definitely would ask Maria and the family to look after him in a heartbeat.”

“A lovely, warming and caring family who made us at ease from the first contact. Lots of photos and regular updates on our pooch. So very glad to have had our Charlie stay with Yana and her family.”
