Quiet, loving home. One dog only💕
I share my home with my calm and gentle 14 year-old mixed breed dog, Sonny. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved pet in someone else’s care, and I will always do my utmost to make both you and your dog feel comfortable, reassured, and happy throughout their stay. My home is best suited to calm, relaxed dogs who enjoy a peaceful environment. To keep things stress-free and personalised, I only board one guest dog at a time alongside Sonny. This allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, affection, supervision, and a consistent routine. Your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive regular toilet breaks, companionship, cuddles, and care throughout the day. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed if that is what they are used to at home, and I will always try to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel settled and secure. We are lucky to have lovely nearby walking areas including the beach, Alver Valley, and surrounding nature areas. I also have a fully secure fenced garden with CCTV for added peace of mind. I have experience caring for senior dogs and administering oral medication if required. I am also happy to provide regular photo and message updates during your dog’s stay so you can relax knowing they are safe, loved, and well cared for. Please let me know about your dog’s personality, routine, and any special requirements before booking. My home is not suitable for very high-energy or hyperactive dogs, as I aim to maintain a calm and relaxed environment for Sonny and any visiting dogs. We couldn’t have been happier leaving Milo with Rene and Rob while we were on holiday! From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in the best hands. They spoilt him rotten, walked him every day, and gave him so much love and attention. It was clear he was treated as part of the family. Rene always sent pictures and updates which put my mind completely at ease and made me feel so good knowing he was happy and well looked after. We came back to one very happy and content pup! We will absolutely be booking again without hesitation. Thank you both so much! 🐾

I have a secure fenced garden with CCTV. I will mimic however you care for your dog to avoid disrupting their routine as much as possible.

A typical day
We will walk to the beach, we will play enrichment games with dog friendly toys and walk around the neighbourhood. I can provide long or short walks with a great choice of walks within close proximity. I am happy to provide either on or off lead walks according to your requirements.
