About: I’m new to Rover, but I’m not new to caring for dogs. I’ve had dogs in my life for 44 years and currently care for my own elderly dogs (Oscar (15) & Lucy (16)), both of whom have needed a lot of patience, routine and gentle handling as they’ve got older. About: I have been a dog owner since childhood, some 40+ years. Dogs of all shapes and sizes. Ranging from a Jack Russell to a Great Dane. Having lost our Ellie some months ago, I have a huge hole to fill. Knowing how hard it is to find sitters that can give them the love and attention they need while their mummy's and daddy's are away. I can offer a loving, comfortable home where they will be the centre of attention with lots of cuddles on the sofa, playtime and walks. I have just given up my job to make dog sitting my main priority. So they will have company the whole time they are with us. I have a fully fenced medium size garden. About: Hi, I’m Eliza and I’m 19. I’ve had a golden cocker spaniel in the household for about 5 years now - we got her in 2021, when she was 4 months old (an adorable tiny puppy!) and I was 14. She’s now 5 years old so I’ve pretty much grown up with her, so I have experience with dogs of all different ages. I would prefer to look after small and medium-sized dogs and I’m used to them pulling on the lead (my dog does it all the time!) but open to walking larger dogs too, as long as they aren’t too strong on the lead. About: I am a qualified dog groomer and work part time in a luxury boarding kennels on Fridays, the other days of the week I work from home doing an admin role and grooming dogs. I have a pet first aid certification which prepares me for emergencies. I was lucky enough to be born into a family with a dog and have adored animals ever since, caring for my own rabbit from the age of 7 and helping to train the family dogs. I have owned my own dog and cared for other dogs as if they were my own. I work from home some days of the week and really enjoy the company of a dog. My house and garden are a decent size and I don’t have any children so your dog will have my full attention. I work from home in an administrative role a few days a week. I also groom dogs in the cabin at the side of my house on some days. Working from home can be a lonely at times which is why I wanted to add more dog sitting to my life. If you have any questions, please reach out! I have a nicely sized grass garden perfect for playing in which is fenced. . I have a crate if needed and can shut the front room door to prevent dogs going upstairs if they need this (young puppies or seniors). I am used to meeting new dogs regularly and learning their own unique behaviours, always taking things at their pace and learning how they feel most comfortable. This experience has come from owning dogs, volunteering at a rescue centre and working with dogs for the past 4 years.
“Neve and Ned were incredible. I would highly recommend leaving your dog in their trusting care. Both Neve and Ned were professional and thorough from the outset. They were proactive in establishing meetings with themselves and Otto to ensure that he would, not only be familiar with them and the space, but also to ensure that they would also be able to look after him and give him the best care possible. They had a number of highly relevant and targeted questions which was clearly designed to allow them to understand the needs of the dog. This included questions about their temperament, known words, and any healthcare needs as well as usual routines. A great indicator of how seriously they take their role in caring for your dog. The space is incredibly clean and well furnished. Neve provides a lot of material such as kibble/beds/water bowls etc already for your dog during your stay which takes a massive weight off of your shoulders in case you forget something during the mid-packing rush. It was also a sweet touch that I did not expect but very much welcomed. Neve and Ned do live with other houseguests but where your dog is staying is on the bottom floor, separate and with access to the garden. Otto did not seem to have any issue with this at all. During the stay, Neve and Ned were incredibly sweet. They both provided regular updates on Otto and provided as many photos and videos as I desired to ease my nerves, even if I was a bit overboard in how much I missed my dog. They also kept me updated with any issues, challenges or decisions they had to make while looking after Otto. It was during these points that you could tell both Neve and Ned were really taking on board whatever information you gave them at the start because every decision they made was exactly what I would have made. They also took Otto on a lot of adventures and allowed him to continue socialising. Otto was never really left alone for long if at all, which I'm sure he is missing now that we are back! Neve was also great at ensuring Otto's medical requirements were complied with and kept us up to date on any developments. I really valued being able to follow along and step in if needed so this was very much welcomed. Throughout the stay and before, Neve and Ned have always been kind and thoughtful in how they communicate. It truly made trusting them with Otto easier. Otto clearly enjoyed his time with them and quickly grew fond of the two of them. I am very glad that we chose Neve. Thank you both for taking great care of Otto.”

Through the stay we were sent regular updates and you could tell everyone was having fun and that Chelcey has a genuine love of dogs. About: I have grown up around animals and have owned a variety. I’ve had the likes of dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs just to name a few. Most recently I have owned a pug and currently live with a golden retriever. I have a lot of knowledge about flat faced breeds and know how to best care for them. Equally I have a lot of knowledge around other breeds particularly smaller ones. I have looked after friends and my families dogs when they have gone away. I have the ability to go to their houses so that their dogs stay in their own environment that’s familiar. I have also had dogs come and stay with me too. I regularly look after my friends dog when she goes to work making sure that her dog is well looked after. I have a lot of free time at the moment being in between jobs so am very flexible with my availability. I will work around what’s best for you and your pet. I will care for your pet as if it was my own. At my house dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the beds so they can have a proper cuddle. I have three beds in the house with room for their own bed if required. I have a fully enclosed garden with a 7ft fence. I also have an open field across the road and a woodlands the other side with running water. I will make sure to feed your dog as many times as needed throughout the time they are with me. There are two fresh water bowls throughout the house and one in the back garden as well so that there is always access to water. I usually keep my back door open throughout the summer time so that Olive (my friends dog) can go in and out when she pleases, as well as her swimming pool under the shade of a giant canopy. If you would like me to sit in your own home I will treat it with the upmost respect. I like to keep things clean and tidy and will leave your home as I came into it. Leave no trace.
About: I had a Siberian husky he was a rescue he passed away a year ago he was 13 1/2. I’ve had Cats my life as well rescued from overseas and give them happy loving homes also ride horses and always been a lover of all animals. I work by flexibly and mainly from Home just one day of the week in the office and the office is very local so I can make short trips back to Home. I also honour my bookings but only booking one dog at a time unless they’re a family of pets that way I can give undivided attention to that specific dog or pet. I have a fence garden and I have quiet zones in the house if your fur baby prefers it and can accommodate crates as well
