“Daniel was brilliant looking after our beautiful bengal, Freddie. He’s often a bit stressed when we get back from a trip but this time he seemed remarkably calm and happy. The pictures and videos every single visit were something we looked forward to and it was such a relief to know that he was being looked after so well back at home whilst we were away. We will always come back to Daniel for cat sitting - something I suspect Freddie will be very pleased about!”

“I have returned again to a very happy cat ( though I’m sure he was disappointed to see me not Olivia) There is no one else we trust to look after Pete, Olivia always keeps us updated with of videos of him not missing us. I can’t rate her high enough”

“Was away for a weekend and Jamie took great care of my 2 cats. They seemed totally at ease and comfortable when I got back. No issues whatsoever. I'd asked if he could come by once a day for feeding, play and litter tray and that was all managed well. Would definitely ask him to cat sit for me again in the future. ”

About: Hi! I’m Jess, a university student at the University of Southampton looking to earn some extra money while doing something I enjoy, spending time with animals. Growing up, I’ve always had pets and have a dog and a cat back home that I really miss while I’m away at university. Looking after them has given me experience with feeding, walking, playtime, giving lots of attention, and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll always treat them as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, your cat needs company while you’re away, or your pet just enjoys having someone around, I’m happy to help. I’m reliable, caring, and will make sure you receive regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I’d love the opportunity to meet your furry friend! As a university student, my schedule is quite flexible, especially outside of lectures. I can often work around your pet’s routine, whether that’s daytime visits, evening walks, or weekend care. I’ll always keep my availability up to date and do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever I can. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and any routines they’re used to, so they feel as relaxed as possible. I understand that every pet is different and will take the time to get to know their personality and needs. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would my own, keeping everything clean, secure, and leaving it exactly as I found it. I’ll also send regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I've grown up around pets of all sizes from palm sized to (almost) human sized my whole life and I am excited to offer my experience with, and love for pets for those in need of it. I currently have a beautiful kitty named Cairo (Calico pictured in profile) but have owned dogs, rats and rabbits in the past and I have a CPD Certified Diploma in Pet Sitting giving me the tools to handle most pets and their needs. I aim to offer a professional yet friendly service with a real focus on pet well-being and good behavioural reinforcement and of course fun for the animals. If you would like to enquire about my services I would love to hear from yourself! I am aiming to be a full time pet carer so I will be fully flexible and happy to work around your needs! I do have other work arrangements and personal responsibilities which will keep me from being able to offer full time in house sitting but these can be moved around as I need. Unfortunately I cannot offer pet care at my own home due to not wanting to upset my own cats living condition but when attending to your pets I will be happy to accommodate any of their needs and yours. I am also happy to carry any daily tasks that might be required in the house within reason, to ensure your home is secure while you are away and that I am offering a top tier service that makes your life easier.

About: Hiya👋 I'm Gayle and I was Mr Ziggy Whippet's companion for 13 years, he was a beautiful brindle who sadly passed in May age 13.5. Ziggy was very nervous but with lots of love and gentle encouragement he made many dog and human friends in the Lordswood community. Kindness, love and empathy for animals is at the core of my beliefs and I will treat your dog with all of the above. I feel more comfortable with one dog at a time unless the dogs live together. I regularly walk my friends Lurcher Bluey, he is a happy and confident dog and enjoys off lead time, if your dog is not ok off the lead I am happy to book a secure field so he/she can have a good zoomies. I have a daughter who is 14 and she adores dogs too, she is sensible, kind and accommodating to the needs of different doggy characters. I work part-time as a Special Needs Passenger Assistant, I'm out the house mon to fri 8am to 9.30am and then 2.20pm to 4pm. I am then around for the rest of the day when I have a dog staying. I'm free all weekend. I have a fenced garden and also live right next to the woods in a quiet neighbourhood. I am happy for dogs to go on the sofa and beds.
“Unfortunately there was a problem with our keys (entirely our fault) and Scott wasn't able to look after our cats. He contacted me immediately and went back later to try again, so I'm grateful that he was so conscientious and responsible, and would have no hesitation in booking him again.”

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of cats & dogs my whole life. I’m very intuitive and good at building trust, always following their lead and allowing pets to build trust at their own pace. I have lots of experience feeding, walking, cleaning up after and giving all different kinds of medication to pets. I currently work full-time and have a part-time job on a Sunday. I can do morning & evening drop-ins during the week and some weekends, I also work from home 2-3 days a week (usually Wednesday & Tuesday/Friday) on these days I can also do lunchtime drop-ins I’m very caring and good at building trust. I have a cat of my own who is very shy so unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to host any pets. I am more than happy to do drop-ins and walks, both of which I have lots of experience in!
“Carol was great with the cats who are both rescues and can be quite timid. They really took to her and let her stroke them. She is reliable and trustworthy and took great care of them. She was lovely and came for a visit beforehand too to meet them. Great communication.”

About: For the past 10 years, I’ve been running a small dog rescue on my own land in Portugal, focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs. Working with volunteers and local charities, we built a cage-free setup where dogs lived as part of a stable social group rather than in kennels. At any given time there were usually around 10 dogs living together. I was the primary caretaker, so managing a group of dogs and keeping things steady was just part of everyday life. I've cared for dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments, including puppies, senior dogs, blind and deaf dogs, dogs with disabilities, dogs recovering from illness, and dogs who have been neglected. Behavioural issues are not a problem for me. My approach is calm, practical, and focused on reading each animal and responding to what they need in the moment. I am compassionate and gentle. As well as dogs, I’ve had cats and chickens my whole life, and I also have experience caring for horses, pigs, goats, and ducks. Animals have been at the centre of my life for many years, and I love caring for them. I’m currently in the UK for a few months while I prepare to get married and relocate back to Europe. I’m staying with friends during this time, which means I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Pet care fits easily into my routine at the moment, and I’m able to be fully present and reliable with bookings. I care for pets in their own home so they stay in a familiar, low-stress environment. I follow their routine closely, including feeding, walks, medication, and any specific needs. I’m experienced in quickly settling into different homes and maintaining a calm, structured presence. I’m respectful of the space, keep everything secure and clean, and provide clear regular updates. With over 10 years of rescue experience, I’m confident handling a wide range of temperaments, including dogs that need patience or close supervision.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life 🐾 I grew up with larger breeds and now regularly care for my mum’s three Chihuahuas (one is a Chihuahua–Jack Russell cross!), so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Dogs have truly always been a huge part of my life. I have a strong understanding of dog behaviour. When I was younger, we had Boxer dogs, one of whom required professional training. I attended those training sessions, which taught me a lot about reading dog behaviour, respecting boundaries, and understanding when a dog needs space just as much as when they want attention, play, or cuddles. I also have experience administering oral medication and am more than happy to do this for your dog, as long as clear instructions are provided. I’m open to caring for dogs with special needs and would be happy to gain more experience in this area. If your dog does have special requirements, please let me know the details so I can ensure they receive the best possible care. ⭐️ Currently offering reduced fees as I’m new to this app ⭐️ I work nights but sometimes work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility during the day and evenings. As I’m self-employed, I can adjust my schedule when needed and plan my time around your pet’s routine. I’m reliable, organised, and always make your pet’s needs, comfort, and happiness my top priority 🐾 Whether that’s sticking to feeding times, walks, playtime, or quiet company, your pet will always come first. Home Visits & Walks • For safety, I keep dogs on the lead during walks if they don’t have reliable recall. If your dog has good recall and I’ve seen this first-hand, we can absolutely revisit this once I’ve gotten to know both you and your dog. An extendable lead is a great option so they can still have plenty of freedom to explore and run around parks. • I’ll always treat your home with care and leave it just as I found it, I will wash up after myself, take bins out and change bedding, making sure you come back to your home as it was. If your dog has an accident, I’ll happily clean it up — please provide cleaning products, just in case! • For home visits and overnight stays, I’m more than happy to care for multiple dogs. When it comes to walks, however, the safety and wellbeing of your pets, myself, and the public is my top priority. For this reason, I’m able to walk a maximum of three dogs at a time (or two at a time for large breeds). In multi-dog households with more than three dogs, walks will be done in separate groups to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. For example, four dogs would be walked as two at a time, and five dogs would be walked as three first, followed by the remaining two. • Communication is important, if I feel I need to contact you about your pet or your home, I will do so without hesitation. An additional contact number of a family member, neighbour or friend is preferred incase I am unable to get hold of you. • Clear instructions about your pet, their needs and quirks is essential to ensuring your furry family is comfortable and happy while their pet parent is away. • I’m more than happy to take pictures of your pet and send you regular updates while you are away! I want you to feel relaxed knowing your pet and your home is safe while you are away. • I have a car & drivers license and I’m happy to take your pets to a preferred area for walks or change in scenery, only dogs that are well-behaved in cars and will be happy to sit securely in the back of my car (for safety reasons), this is optional of course and only after I’ve got to know your pets. Small dogs only for car trips, and a maximum of three due to having a smaller car. ⸻ Boarding • I only take one small dog at a time, so your pet gets my full attention and a calm, relaxed stay. • Your dog should be house-trained (able to let me know when they need to go outside and not have regular accidents). • Dogs are very welcome on the furniture, as long as they’re up to date with flea treatment. • Dogs are also welcome to sleep on the bed. If you’d prefer they sleep in their own bed, please feel free to provide one so they feel comfortable and at home. • There won’t be any other dogs in my household during your dog’s stay. My family dogs live with my mum most of the time. I do have a bearded dragon, who stays safely in his vivarium and will not be let out during your dog’s stay. If your dog is sensitive to small animals, please let me know so I can ensure everything remains completely separated and stress-free for everyone. • As I live in a flat, quieter dogs are preferred to keep things comfortable for both your dog and my neighbours. • I also have a small, shared ground-floor balcony area that your dog can enjoy on a lead, I prefer to take them to the park across the road where they will have more to enjoy, but my ground-floor balcony is suitable for toilet breaks and fresh air.
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I have experience caring for a wide range of breeds, from energetic Border Collies to small companion dogs. I come from a family with experience in dog care, and they have taught me how to properly look after dogs, understand their behaviour, and recognise their individual needs. I currently own two Russian Toy Terriers and have hands-on experience with daily care, exercise, feeding, and providing a safe, loving environment. One of my previous dogs lived to the age of 17, which gave me valuable experience caring for senior dogs and understanding the extra patience and attention they require. I am also comfortable caring for puppies and helping maintain their routines. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always strive to ensure they feel happy, secure, and well cared for while their owners are away. As a part-time student who works weekends, I have a very flexible schedule during the week and am available Monday to Thursday throughout the day. This allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while maintaining their usual routine. I'll treat your pet with the same care and affection I give my own dogs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I always follow each pet's normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they require. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention and exercise. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind.

I like to spend a bit of time interacting with the animals and getting to know them

About: I’m a massive animal lover, from dogs to cats, rabbits, horses and everything in between. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all sizes but have a particular soft spot for dogs. After moving away from home for university, I’ve been missing the unmatchable company that pets give and would be honoured to give yours a little extra attention. I love a puppy, but have extra experience with senior dogs and can take walks, sits and any other services at paces that suit them. I love a bit of character and quirk, and would aim to provide the same quality of care that you provide for your own pets. I’m a university student with a flexible schedule to work around yours and your pets needs and cause minimal disruption to their schedules. I prioritise every detail of care and make it as personal as possible by carefully following all information provided and keeping communication open with the owners too. I’m a student with a flexible schedule and a car. My main priority would be to fit seamlessly into your schedule to not disrupt routine and would be happy to work around you. I’m an early riser, so love early morning walks but am also happy to accommodate activities later in the day too. I have experience house sitting holiday lets over out of season periods and have provided cleaning services, so I have a great attention to detail and am very tidy. I’m big on rule following so would never cross boundaries but have lots of love and attention to give your pets! Just let me know what you’re comfortable with and I’ll make sure to provide the rest. After having my own, very fussy princess of a senior dog I’m more than able to accommodate any quirks. I know each dog has their own personality and I’d love to get to know them to tailor how I care for them, just as you would!

I am available for day-care, walks and drop ins. I believe that every dog deserves a calm, patient and nurturing environment - whether they're with me for a walk or a full day of play. While I have a special place in my heart for Dachshunds, (I'm the proud owner of a very well behaved & well socialised miniature dachshund named Mellow!) I welcome ALL breeds! My home boasts a large dog friendly living space and secure garden, with walks to either Southampton Common or St James Park (just 5mins away on foot) come rain or shine! As I work from home full-time in an administrative role, I am happy to offer consistent care and near-constant companionship seven days a week! Your dog gets maximum attention during the week (Monday–Thursday). (Please note that all walks and drop in visits are solo sessions with me) On Fridays and weekends, my three-year-old daughter is home, but please rest assured this won't compromise care. She was only 10 months old when Melo had her first litter and is very well-versed in dog boundaries. She is generally quite self-occupied with non-dog activities and is never left unsupervised around guests. We are generally homebodies, which means lots of company for your pup, but I may occasionally require flexibility on Friday/weekend bookings due to family outings. Our home is a large, safe space that's fully "dachshund-proofed". Our generously sized secure garden is a safe place for exercise and enrichment games. If your dog comes to us, he/she will be welcomed by our resident Miniature Dachshund, Mellow, who is calm, playful, and very well socialized. While she sleeps a lot, having a friendly guest to share the fun with is a welcome treat! We are committed to providing exceptional care and safety exclusively for your long-bodied friend. (Please note that all walks and drop in visits are solo sessions with me)

“A big thank you to Jasmin for looking after Mitzi while we attended a wedding. Jasmin was super flexible and was excellent in her communication. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jasmin, she has a very calm approach which I felt put Mitzi at ease very quickly. We also changed our plans multiple times and Jasmin accommodated everything. Big thank you to here for taking care of Mitzi.”

I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter than Max Elena, Absolutely loved how she put more effort than we asked her to in taking care of our Dog Chadwick. Chadwick can be very anxious when we’re away but she was able to calm him down and updated us from time to time with messages and pictures. We felt very safe leaving him with Elena. Will definitely book again when we’re away, thank you very much Elena🫶

Zilin looks after my 4 month old puppy twice a week which is no small job as he has lots of energy, he is in his "scared of everything" phase but within the first visit he already loves having Zilin visit and gets super excited to see her. She has a great calm energy with him and always gives me plenty of updates throughout, cannot thank you enough!

Lauren has been absolutely lovely with Nico. This was the first time we’d ever left him, and as he has separation anxiety I was quite nervous - but she was amazing and put him at ease straight away. He felt relaxed and comfortable with her immediately, which meant so much to us. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lauren to anyone looking for dog sitting or house sitting - especially if your dog needs a bit of extra patience and understanding. Thank you so much, Lauren ❤️

Jo dropped in to take care of Freddie. Jo is very efficient, great at comms before the booking and in providing feedback. Clearly cares very much for her doggy clients. Our second time using her. She was also flexible when we had to change the booking time. Well recommended.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
