About: I’ve taken regular care of my friends Samoyed dog for quite a few years now as she is a frequent traveller. Experienced with day to day care, dog walking and providing comfort and play. Honest, trustworthy and genuinely care about animals. I work part time from home so available for cuddles and play. We have a large garden and I can go for walks after 3pm some Days. I have Fridays off so can do long walks that day. I have 2 children but one is 14 and the other is 11 so responsible and respectful who also love animals I have a fenced garden and an open plan house where I can see the pets easily. If in someone else’s home, I’m respectful of whatever instructions they provide.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, ranging from cats, to horse to little rats. Believe that animals make the world a better place. Nothing better than having a little friend at home. The animals happiness and safety is first priority to me. No request is too weird, just ask! I know how quirky some animals can be. Feeding, playing, exercising, grooming and giving medicine is no issue. Happy to discuss requirements. Just pop me a message! I work full time, but on a hybrid role, I drive so can be flexible within reason. I look after my boy every day and believe that some animals need more time to adjust to a change in their circumstance. Please let me know what you need and I will do my best to accommodate. I will ensure that the animals safety is paramount. Making sure that it is well fed, watered and never distressed. A clean healthy environment clean of hazards is key. My cat is fully indoor so I understand how important window and door safety is, if that is one of your needs.

About: Having grown up with dogs and cats, and had rescue dogs of my own, I am experienced with providing care for animals with a wide range of needs, including separation anxiety, reactivity, and medication. I also have lots of experience looking after pet rats! I currently work from home half the week, and this can be done from anywhere with wifi. I have a car and can travel within a reasonable distance. I am sensitive to the needs of the individual pet, so my approach to care will depend on what your pet is used to, I will ask questions beforehand so that I can provide the best care for your animal. About: I have two adopted animals from rescue and one girl I’ve had from a puppy. My eldest has medication and specific washing requirements so I’m used to doing that. I drive so can facilitate vet appointments if needed as required. I work from home, so can work to suit schedules and be near animals as required. I have smaller dogs myself which we can separate if this is something your animal isn’t used to. Having animals myself I understand often complex needs and requirements and can adjust to fit various circumstances as needed. I can familiarise myself with any routine required, and happy to attend beforehand as needed to speak to the owner. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life 🐾 I grew up with larger breeds and now regularly care for my mum’s three Chihuahuas (one is a Chihuahua–Jack Russell cross!), so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Dogs have truly always been a huge part of my life. I have a strong understanding of dog behaviour. When I was younger, we had Boxer dogs, one of whom required professional training. I attended those training sessions, which taught me a lot about reading dog behaviour, respecting boundaries, and understanding when a dog needs space just as much as when they want attention, play, or cuddles. I also have experience administering oral medication and am more than happy to do this for your dog, as long as clear instructions are provided. I’m open to caring for dogs with special needs and would be happy to gain more experience in this area. If your dog does have special requirements, please let me know the details so I can ensure they receive the best possible care. ⭐️ Currently offering reduced fees as I’m new to this app ⭐️ I work nights but sometimes work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility during the day and evenings. As I’m self-employed, I can adjust my schedule when needed and plan my time around your pet’s routine. I’m reliable, organised, and always make your pet’s needs, comfort, and happiness my top priority 🐾 Whether that’s sticking to feeding times, walks, playtime, or quiet company, your pet will always come first. Home Visits & Walks • For safety, I keep dogs on the lead during walks if they don’t have reliable recall. If your dog has good recall and I’ve seen this first-hand, we can absolutely revisit this once I’ve gotten to know both you and your dog. An extendable lead is a great option so they can still have plenty of freedom to explore and run around parks. • I’ll always treat your home with care and leave it just as I found it, I will wash up after myself, take bins out and change bedding, making sure you come back to your home as it was. If your dog has an accident, I’ll happily clean it up — please provide cleaning products, just in case! • For home visits and overnight stays, I’m more than happy to care for multiple dogs. When it comes to walks, however, the safety and wellbeing of your pets, myself, and the public is my top priority. For this reason, I’m able to walk a maximum of three dogs at a time (or two at a time for large breeds). In multi-dog households with more than three dogs, walks will be done in separate groups to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. For example, four dogs would be walked as two at a time, and five dogs would be walked as three first, followed by the remaining two. • Communication is important, if I feel I need to contact you about your pet or your home, I will do so without hesitation. An additional contact number of a family member, neighbour or friend is preferred incase I am unable to get hold of you. • Clear instructions about your pet, their needs and quirks is essential to ensuring your furry family is comfortable and happy while their pet parent is away. • I’m more than happy to take pictures of your pet and send you regular updates while you are away! I want you to feel relaxed knowing your pet and your home is safe while you are away. • I have a car & drivers license and I’m happy to take your pets to a preferred area for walks or change in scenery, only dogs that are well-behaved in cars and will be happy to sit securely in the back of my car (for safety reasons), this is optional of course and only after I’ve got to know your pets. Small dogs only for car trips, and a maximum of three due to having a smaller car. ⸻ Boarding • I only take one small dog at a time, so your pet gets my full attention and a calm, relaxed stay. • Your dog should be house-trained (able to let me know when they need to go outside and not have regular accidents). • Dogs are very welcome on the furniture, as long as they’re up to date with flea treatment. • Dogs are also welcome to sleep on the bed. If you’d prefer they sleep in their own bed, please feel free to provide one so they feel comfortable and at home. • There won’t be any other dogs in my household during your dog’s stay. My family dogs live with my mum most of the time. I do have a bearded dragon, who stays safely in his vivarium and will not be let out during your dog’s stay. If your dog is sensitive to small animals, please let me know so I can ensure everything remains completely separated and stress-free for everyone. • As I live in a flat, quieter dogs are preferred to keep things comfortable for both your dog and my neighbours. • I also have a small, shared ground-floor balcony area that your dog can enjoy on a lead, I prefer to take them to the park across the road where they will have more to enjoy, but my ground-floor balcony is suitable for toilet breaks and fresh air.

My home boasts a large dog friendly living space and secure garden, with walks to either Southampton Common or St James Park (just 5mins away on foot) come rain or shine! ​As I work from home full-time in an administrative role, I am happy to offer consistent care and near-constant companionship seven days a week! Your dog gets maximum attention during the week (Monday–Thursday). (Please note that all walks and drop in visits are solo sessions with me) ​On Fridays and weekends, my three-year-old daughter is home, but please rest assured this won't compromise care. She was only 10 months old when Melo had her first litter and is very well-versed in dog boundaries. She is generally quite self-occupied with non-dog activities and is never left unsupervised around guests. We are generally homebodies, which means lots of company for your pup, but I may occasionally require flexibility on Friday/weekend bookings due to family outings. Our home is a large, safe space that's fully "dachshund-proofed". Our generously sized secure garden is a safe place for exercise and enrichment games. ​If your dog comes to us, he/she will be welcomed by our resident Miniature Dachshund, Mellow, who is calm, playful, and very well socialized. While she sleeps a lot, having a friendly guest to share the fun with is a welcome treat! We are committed to providing exceptional care and safety exclusively for your long-bodied friend.
