Hi, I’m Eliza and I’m 19. I’ve had a golden cocker spaniel in the household for about 5 years now - we got her in 2021, when she was 4 months old (an adorable tiny puppy!) and I was 14. She’s now 5 years old so I’ve pretty much grown up with her, so I have experience with dogs of all different ages. I would prefer to look after small and medium-sized dogs and I’m used to them pulling on the lead (my dog does it all the time!) but open to walking larger dogs too, as long as they aren’t too strong on the lead. I’m used to long walks since cocker spaniels are an active and lively breed! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I grew up with a dog (Toffee) and a cat (Noodle). On my profile, the first 6 photos are me with my dog (ranging from adulthood, and a picture of her as a puppy in the last of the 6 photos); the rest of the photos are me with my cat (also ranging from when he was a kitten - the first two photos, when I was much younger too! - to adulthood.) Therefore, I am well-versed when it comes to caring for both cats and dogs. Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Eliza was very thorough feeding and keeping our cat’s tray clean. She kept us well informed throughout and included many photos. Eliza has a lovely nature and we were more than happy to trust her in our home while we were away. Have already recommended her to family and friends.
Eliza looked after my cat Buew with lots of care. I was worried about leaving him, as he likes lots of attention, but Eliza quickly reassured me from the first visit with lots of photos and updates, allowing me to have a relaxing break away and come back home to a happy Buew 😊 Highly recommend, thank you Eliza!
Eliza was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She was reliable, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure Richard was happy and well looked after. She even came out to meet us beforehand, which was really appreciated and gave us complete peace of mind. Richard instantly bonded with her and was such a happy boy while we were away. It was lovely to see how comfortable he was with Eliza, and we felt completely confident leaving him in her care. Eliza did a great job of looking after Leilla for 6 evenings, always,providing fresh water and setting the 24 hr cat feeder until the next visit. Leilla is wary of new people but I could see from the pictures that she got really relaxed with Eliza. Eliza also reached out with a few questions which meant Leilla got all the care she needed. Thank you!
Eliza was amazing house sitting George and Poppy! They can be a handful with all their barking and jumping, but she was absolutely wonderful with them. She kept us updated and we came home to very happy, tired dogs. It was so nice not having to worry. Highly recommend her!"

Schedule
I’m a student at university of Southampton, currently in my first year, so I’m pretty flexible with timings. I’m free at various times on weekdays, and most weekends, but I’ll be updating my calendar regularly to show specific availability.

- Cat care: Let me know about any specific dietary requirements (e.g. whether they have wet food and/or dry food) and about whether they are an indoor or outdoor cat, so I can know whether to let them out or not. Of course, I will make sure to discuss this before the sit anyway! Dog care: Let me know if your dog’s good around other dogs and around children, so that I can be aware of how to manage certain situations on walks - my dog isn’t great around both dogs and children so I know how to manage the situation if needed.
