Trusted Dog Companion You Can Rely On
In the past, I had a dog of my own, and when he passed away I was deeply heartbroken. Since then, I’ve often looked after dogs for friends and colleagues while they were on holiday. The golden retriever and border collie in my photos belong to close friends — they would stay with me whenever their families traveled. Apart from the golden retriever being adorably jealous whenever I gave the border collie attention, we all shared wonderful times together. I’m confident handling daily routines such as feeding, walks, and toilet breaks, but I also pay close attention to details like medication schedules, comfort, and companionship. My goal is to make your pets feel like they’re part of my own family while you’re away.

I introduced our golden retriever Bo to Qi and her husband before he was due to stay with them and a little later we met them again by chance, and Bo rushed up to say hello. It was clear he was delighted to see them before he spent three nights at their home. Qi kept me informed how he was settling with them and I was pleased but not surprised it was immediate. He was also reluctant to leave when I picked him up. Which says it all.
Qi took wonderful care of Bonnie for eight days and treated her as if she were her own. Bonnie enjoyed long walks every morning and evening, plenty of time relaxing in the garden, and quickly made herself at home—claiming the sofa whenever she could and curling up under Qi’s desk while she worked! As Bonnie sometimes loses her appetite when she's away from us, Qi patiently encouraged her to eat, even hand-feeding her when needed. Throughout Bonnie’s stay, Qi kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind. We honestly couldn't have wished for a kinder, more caring sitter. I would recommend Qi without hesitation and would happily leave Bonnie with her again.
Rio came home full of life and happy. I've seen him subdued from a stay away before so I've been cautious who has him and Qi did not disappoint. Loads of photos and updates. I couldn't have picked a better person to have my boy 🥰
My dog had a wonderful time with Qi during her recent stay. Qi kept in regular contact providing updates with photos of my dog settling in with her and going on an evening and morning walk. Would definitely recommend and will definitely book with Qi again
Buddy really enjoyed his time with sisi. Herself and her husband treated him with upmost care. He definitely missed them when he came home so I’m just glad he was loved and cared for while we were away. Thank you.

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m home every day, which allows me to care for a pet throughout the day. I feed them on schedule, provide fresh water, and keep their environment clean. I spend time daily playing and exercising with them to keep them healthy and happy.

At our home, we provide a calm and welcoming environment with a secure garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air and play safely. We never leave dogs unattended outside and always make sure gates and doors are closed properly. Because we spend most of our time working from home, your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. We keep to their usual feeding and walking schedule as closely as possible to make them feel at ease.
A typical day
Since I work from home, I’m around all day and can closely monitor the pet’s needs. A typical day starts with feeding and fresh water, followed by some playtime or a short walk if needed. During work hours, I make sure the pet has a comfortable space and toys to keep them mentally stimulated. I take breaks to give attention and interact with them throughout the day. In the evening, I spend more time playing, cuddling, and exercising. Once a week, I do grooming, such as brushing or cleaning, and check on their overall health.” Fun activities I’ll do with the pets: I enjoy interactive play like fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek for dogs, and toys or puzzle feeders for cats. I also like going for walks, exploring safe outdoor areas, or practicing gentle training exercises. Depending on the pet’s personality, I may include snuggle time, gentle brushing, or introducing new toys to keep them engaged and happy.
