Trusted Dog Companion You Can Rely On
In the past, I had a dog of my own, and when he passed away I was deeply heartbroken. Since then, I’ve often looked after dogs for friends and colleagues while they were on holiday. The golden retriever and border collie in my photos belong to close friends — they would stay with me whenever their families traveled. Apart from the golden retriever being adorably jealous whenever I gave the border collie attention, we all shared wonderful times together. I’m confident handling daily routines such as feeding, walks, and toilet breaks, but I also pay close attention to details like medication schedules, comfort, and companionship. My goal is to make your pets feel like they’re part of my own family while you’re away.

Qi was very communicative and sent plenty of photos and updates on how PJ was getting on. He was very kind and patient with PJ (who can be nervous at first) and made swift friends with him playing fetch. We felt comfortable that PJ was being looked after well as he kept us updated. He was also kindly flexible with us on timings as our travel times were impacted/uncertain.
Qi and her husband have looked after Milo twice now, and both times he's come back fulfilled and tired, they do a good job of catering to his specific needs.
Qi was absolutely amazing! She took my last minute booking, and was lovely and understand even when Merlin initially was a bit overexcited 😅 would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants their doggo in safe, capable hands! She was also really good with updates, very informative and cute pictures.
Qi and her husband have been wonderful with my dog Stanley, very gentle and loving. They have taken him for walks, and he felt safe, I also have had a peace of mind when I worked.
Qi and her husband were absolutely fantastic with my boy Archie. Qi was quick to contact me when he appeared to have a limp and was reluctant to go down the stairs but after letting her know that Archie was in fact putting on the limp for attention, she was put at ease. I left Archie with Qi on bonfire night and she was brilliant in comforting him with the loud noises. We had a few laughs about Archie's antics for attention and Qi sent some lovely pictures of Archie with herself and her husband. When I collected Archie, it was clear that he had been very happy with Qi and her husband and they expressed how much they had loved having him to stay. I will definitely ask Qi and her husband to have Archie again and they have asked to look after him again. Thankyou Qi I am so greatful to you and your husband.

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m home every day, which allows me to care for a pet throughout the day. I feed them on schedule, provide fresh water, and keep their environment clean. I spend time daily playing and exercising with them to keep them healthy and happy.

Safety, trust & environment
At our home, we provide a calm and welcoming environment with a secure garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air and play safely. We never leave dogs unattended outside and always make sure gates and doors are closed properly. Because we spend most of our time working from home, your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. We keep to their usual feeding and walking schedule as closely as possible to make them feel at ease.
A typical day
Since I work from home, I’m around all day and can closely monitor the pet’s needs. A typical day starts with feeding and fresh water, followed by some playtime or a short walk if needed. During work hours, I make sure the pet has a comfortable space and toys to keep them mentally stimulated. I take breaks to give attention and interact with them throughout the day. In the evening, I spend more time playing, cuddling, and exercising. Once a week, I do grooming, such as brushing or cleaning, and check on their overall health.” Fun activities I’ll do with the pets: I enjoy interactive play like fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek for dogs, and toys or puzzle feeders for cats. I also like going for walks, exploring safe outdoor areas, or practicing gentle training exercises. Depending on the pet’s personality, I may include snuggle time, gentle brushing, or introducing new toys to keep them engaged and happy.
