We recently moved to the area and were looking to find a new sitter for my pug Bailey for when I have to travel/ need help watching him. Katie drove over to us for our first meet and picked Bailey up, along with her lovely poodle Kevin and they went for a long walk in the new forest. I was updated with videos and pictures and Bailey was very clearly in his element. I felt really safe leaving my little man with Katie and am looking forward for them to have Bailey again soon as I know he’s going to be taken excellent care of. Thank you Katie xx

Our Labrador, Bonnie was in safe and caring hands with Katie and her furry family. She enjoyed morning and evening walks with their other dogs and we received videos which were much appreciated. As a veterinary nurse, we felt reassured she would be able to manage Bonnie’s special dietary requirements. Bonnie returned happy and healthy. We would definitely book with Katie again.
Katie was super accomodating with picking up and dropping off our dogs whist we were away. Very proffessional meet and greet before hand which really put us at ease. Perfect set up for dog boarding with lovely big garden and lots of space set in a quiet area. Regular updates and videos showing our boys having a great time. Really great to find someone so trustworthy locally. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Schedule
Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine and is a big part of everyday life in our home. I’m home for much of the day, so dogs are able to have plenty of company, attention and regular access to our large, secure garden. I enjoy daily walks and being outdoors, so visiting dogs can join me for exercise and adventures suited to their individual needs. I’m happy to adapt my routine for puppies, older dogs, medication schedules or dogs who simply prefer a quieter day at home. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, I’m also very comfortable caring for pets with additional or medical needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a calm, safe and home-from-home environment where every pet is treated as part of the family. I have a large, secure garden with plenty of space for dogs to play, explore and relax, as well as comfortable areas indoors for rest and downtime. I always follow each owner’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements and any individual preferences. Dogs are supervised carefully and introductions are managed appropriately, particularly when I’m caring for more than one dog. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, I’m confident caring for pets with medical or additional needs and administering medication where required. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of both the pet’s routine and the owner’s property. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise and enrichment while keeping their routine as familiar and consistent as possible.

A typical day
A typical day starts with breakfast and some time outside in our large, secure garden, followed by a morning walk tailored to the dogs staying with me. Throughout the day, dogs have plenty of opportunities to play, explore the garden, relax indoors and enjoy lots of attention and company. I like to keep things flexible and follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, medication and rest. More energetic dogs can enjoy longer walks and plenty of outdoor time, while older or quieter dogs are equally welcome to spend their day relaxing at their own pace. There are regular toilet breaks throughout the day, an afternoon or evening walk, dinner and then time to settle and relax for the evening. My aim is for dogs to feel comfortable, safe and at home while they stay with me.
