I was born into the house of an animal hoarder, so chances are I've looked after your kind of pet before. You name it I've probably picked up its poop. I've pet sat many times over the years and my clients (and their pets) are all returning customers. I've looked after pets with complex needs, from skin conditions, tooth problems (or no teeth at all) to joint pain or behavioural problems, I can handle it. Only thing is by the time you're back, I will love your pets just as much as you!

My approach to pet sitting is, if they're naughty or hyper, keep them engaged with play or exercise so they don't make their own fun. Otherwise I tend not to leave the house for too long so I can attend to them when needed. If the pet needs medication, I set alarms for myself. I have a background in social work so I'm pretty hot on medication timings and can update the owner if I have concerns about health decline. All I ask on this is clear instructions. I also tend to clean the house before the owner returns, the last thing people want to do after travelling home is spend all day cleaning so I will make sure that's done to a high standard for you.

Harry house sat for us while we were away for the weekend. He looked after our two pets, Arty the Dog and Ham the Cat, and also looked after the house! Harry was incredibly knowledgable upon meeting him, and both pets really took a shine to him instantly. Harry was very responsive whenever we messaged, and when we got home our pets were very content. Arty even seemed cleaner than he’d ever been! 😂 We had a heatwave over the weekend and Harry was very good at monitoring both pets. Especially caring for Arty, making sure not to walk him in extreme temperatures but ensuring he was sufficiently entertained. Our house was even cleaner than we left, our garden veg patch is thriving and I can really tell Harry cared for the house just as much as the pets! Thank you so much for stepping in last minute! We will deffo be booking with Harry again :)
Harry has looked after our cat Sunny on multiple occasions, to the point that Sunny gets excited when he sees Harry. He’s very good with our pet child and makes sure to spend as much time as possible keeping his mind and heart occupied. Harry is not only going to be a great choice for you, but for your pet too. He will ensure your pet child has the best time possible.
Harry has pet and house sat for us many times, he is very reliable, wonderful with the animals and a naturally caring, honest person. Besides wonderful pet care, Harry takes good care of the house and everything is always neat & tidy I have no hesitation trusting or recommending Harry to anyone.

Schedule
Depending on the pet's needs, I can come by before and after work (I work 0700-1600) but, if necessary, I can take time off work to stay full time. For these bookings I will require 2 weeks notice.
Prices include all fees.
