“Skye had the best time with Lee and his family! She loved playing with Buddy and we loved seeing them together in the pictures Lee sent. Great communication, responded so quickly to all messages, kind when we were an hour late due to traffic and delay with the ferry. Already rebooked! Highly recommend.”

About: Having grown up With dogs, I have years of experience, from pugs to Dobermans, we walk our lab twice a day from pavements to forests. Having had Millie for five years, pet care is just part of our daily routine. Millie’s day starts with checking the garden for unwanted guests followed by a spot of brekkie, a play with our daughter then a neighbourhood watch walk (no ball!) usually then has an afternoon snore. A second walk (ball allowed) followed by dinner and cuddles with dad. Our downstairs is open to dogs (and toddlers) they will have full access to a fenced garden. Millie naps On the sofas and this Will obviously be available to any of our guests
“We couldn’t have found a better holiday home for Bonnie than with Rene and Robert. We knew instantly that she would be treated as part of the family and when we picked her up we could see how comfortable she’d made herself. Thank you so much and for all the walks by the sea…her favourite place to be. And thank you for all the updates and pictures.”

About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and have experience caring for different breeds, from an American Akita to my miniature dachshund, who’s still very much part of the family. My Akita was with me from being a puppy right through to 13 years old, so I’ve experienced every stage of a dog’s life, from training and daily exercise to caring for them as they get older. Dogs have always been a big part of our home. I have two young children who have grown up around dogs since birth and are very gentle and comfortable with them. I genuinely love having dogs around the house. Plenty of fuss, cuddles, attention, and long walks, especially down at the beach, are all part of everyday life here. I aim to make every dog feel relaxed, safe, and at home while they’re with us. 🐾 I work full-time Monday to Friday (7:30am–5:00pm), so I am mainly available for dog boarding and pet care at weekends. This means I can offer a calm, consistent home environment with plenty of attention, walks, and time spent with your dog while I am home. On some weekends I have my children staying with me every other weekend. They are dog-friendly, calm, and have grown up around dogs, so your pet will be part of a family environment when they are here. On the alternate weekends, it will just be myself at home, providing a quieter setting for dogs who prefer a more relaxed space. During the weekdays, I am open to considering dogs that are well-behaved and comfortable being left alone during working hours (7:30am–5:00pm), provided the owner is happy with this routine. I ensure early morning, evening, and night-time care with walks and attention before and after work. Overall, I aim to provide a safe, stable, and caring home where dogs are well looked after and treated like part of the family. 🐾 I have a reasonably sized, fully fenced garden where dogs can safely relax, play, or enjoy some fresh air when the weather is nice. Inside the home, dogs are welcome to have full access to shared living spaces and will be treated as part of the family. They are allowed on furniture, so they can feel comfortable and at home, although I do not allow dogs on the beds. I also have my own dachshund, Winnie, who is very friendly and used to other dogs, so your dog will have company and social interaction during their stay. If required, I can comfortably crate dogs and will follow any routine or instructions provided by owners to ensure they feel secure and settled. My priority is always to provide a safe, calm, and supervised environment where dogs are well cared for and can relax. 🐾
“Claire and her family are great hosts for your pet. Children played a lot with Pongo and they did different walks and activities. We found Pongo happy and relaxed when we picked him up after several days.”

“Rosie had such a fun night and made a new doggy friend and has come home well looked after and exhausted 😁. Can never fault Monica and would always reccommend to anyone looking for care for their dog.”

“I couldn’t be more grateful for Clare! Clare had our dog over for almost 3 weeks over the Christmas period whilst we went away. Clare kept in touch with updates and photos and loved and treated Abel like he was her own. We were put at ease about leaving him as soon as we stepped into her house for the meet and greet. Thank you Clare (and Jess too!) for everything. You will be our first port of call if we go away again x”

“So glad we found Emma Our usual lady who looks after Eddie was unavailable, so I started searching and found Emma on Rover.com. The info on the website drew us to her and after a meet before hand we knew that Eddie would be well cared for. He was only staying for 24 hours this time and he had a wonderful time. We received photos of him and her dog Willow on walks by the seaside, followed up by photos of nap time on the sofa when they got back and you could see how content and relaxed he was. We will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“Angie, Murray and Reggie were amazing, Rose fitted straight in and was comfortable right away. It was definitely a home from home experience and I will definitely be rebooking in the future ❤️ thank you for making her first home stay so easy, so grateful!☺️”

“Ron was very good to Ricky, he has send Ricky’s photos morning and evening. We looked forward to seeing the pictures of Ricky every day while we were away. We are grateful to Ron for looking after Ricky and would love to use his services many more times. Koji and Helen Kimura”

“Bernie had a great time with Michelle! She sent plenty of pics and kept us updated on how he was getting on. I have no doubt we will be sending Bernie back to her in the future, definitely recommend.”

“Ho Mei did a great job of looking after our cocker spaniel, Harvey. Communication was very prompt and professional, lots of photos were sent of him so we could see what he’d been doing and he clearly enjoyed his walks and cuddles. Highly recommend.”

“John was great with Ramba. I was worried due to Ramba’s behavioural issues at home with us but apparently he was an angel John! John was happy to answer my messages while I was away and sent plenty of photo updates! We will definitely aim to have ramba stay with John in the future, and can tell Ramba was looked after very well 👌🏽🥰 thank you John”

“Fantastic! Thank you so much for looking after Lola for us. I felt so assured that she was safe and happy. Sandy provided regular photo updates which was great and know that she will have enjoyed her regular walks with Bruce. Would thoroughly recommend her to look after your dog!”

About: I’m a nurse working bank shifts alongside my passion for animal care. I’ve owned reactive dogs for many years, so I understand the importance of calm handling, patience, routine and being constantly aware of surroundings while out walking. Early 5am quiet walks, off-the-beaten-track trails and avoiding stressful situations for dogs are something I’m very used to. We are a family home with children, so any dogs staying with us would need to be comfortable around children and a normal family environment. I offer gentle, reliable pet care with daily beach walks, peaceful hikes and a focus on making every dog feel safe, relaxed and happy. No other animals in the home. We only have one boarding dog at a time unless dogs come from the same house hols. I will be sole care for the dog during its stay. 5:00am – Quiet early morning walk 6:00am – Breakfast and calm rest time 8:00am – Garden play, enrichment or sniff games 10:00am – Beach walk or quiet countryside hike 12:00pm – Rest and nap time in the home 2:00pm – Toilet break and gentle play 4:00pm – Short afternoon walk or enrichment activities 6:00pm – Dinner time 7:00pm – Family time, cuddles and settling for the evening 9:00pm – Final toilet break and bedtime Our home has a fully enclosed garden and is just a 5 minute walk from the beach, perfect for calm daily walks and outdoor time. We are a relaxed family home with children, so dogs staying with us would need to be comfortable in a family environment. Your dog would not be left alone for long periods and would be treated as part of the family, with plenty of company, care, exercise and quiet time to settle and relax.

“Lovely Lady, our Biewer Terrier Hugo is some what spoiled and is rarely left at home during the day let alone being left whilst we go on holiday. After meeting with several other sitters we were about to give up on finding a suitable person to look after Hugo but then we met Pauline. She has a nice calm approach and her house is totally geared for dog sitting/boarding, we could see straight away that the set up would be right for Hugo. We were not disappointed, on our return we could see he had been well looked after. We would thoroughly recommend Pauline to anybody looking for someone that can truly care for their pet.”

“Sofia and her Dad Rod were amazing!! They looked after Rocky and Fudge like part of the family. Sofia sent updates and photos. I could not recommend enough. Everything was fab and we were able to enjoy our break knowing the doggies were happy. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—growing up, there were always dogs and cats in the house, so caring for them quickly became second nature. That early experience gave me natural confidence and affection with pets. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all ages and temperaments, including senior dogs who need a little extra tender loving care and puppies who are still learning the basics. I really take the time to get to know each animal’s personality and what makes them feel safe and happy. I treat every pet like family, because I know just how much they mean to you. I'm currently available most days. I am not working so I am very flexible. I can be available to care for your pet anytime from morning to night. My home is a safe, pet-friendly space where your furry friend can feel right at home. My garden is fully fenced off and the inside of my home is cozy, clean and free of any potential hazards. Whether your let loves lounging in the sun or playing around in the garden, they'll have a safe and relaxing environment to enjoy.

Emma and Matt were amazing hosts for Bertie. They attended to all of his needs and kept in touch with photos and messages throughout Bertie's weekend stay. He's made some lovely new friends, and went on some long scenic walks. I would highly recommend Emma and can't wait for Bertie to stay there again in the future.
