About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and have experience caring for different breeds, from an American Akita to my miniature dachshund, who’s still very much part of the family. My Akita was with me from being a puppy right through to 13 years old, so I’ve experienced every stage of a dog’s life, from training and daily exercise to caring for them as they get older. Dogs have always been a big part of our home. I have two young children who have grown up around dogs since birth and are very gentle and comfortable with them. I genuinely love having dogs around the house. Plenty of fuss, cuddles, attention, and long walks, especially down at the beach, are all part of everyday life here. I aim to make every dog feel relaxed, safe, and at home while they’re with us. 🐾 I work full-time Monday to Friday (7:30am–5:00pm), so I am mainly available for dog boarding and pet care at weekends. This means I can offer a calm, consistent home environment with plenty of attention, walks, and time spent with your dog while I am home. On some weekends I have my children staying with me every other weekend. They are dog-friendly, calm, and have grown up around dogs, so your pet will be part of a family environment when they are here. On the alternate weekends, it will just be myself at home, providing a quieter setting for dogs who prefer a more relaxed space. During the weekdays, I am open to considering dogs that are well-behaved and comfortable being left alone during working hours (7:30am–5:00pm), provided the owner is happy with this routine. I ensure early morning, evening, and night-time care with walks and attention before and after work. Overall, I aim to provide a safe, stable, and caring home where dogs are well looked after and treated like part of the family. 🐾 I have a reasonably sized, fully fenced garden where dogs can safely relax, play, or enjoy some fresh air when the weather is nice. Inside the home, dogs are welcome to have full access to shared living spaces and will be treated as part of the family. They are allowed on furniture, so they can feel comfortable and at home, although I do not allow dogs on the beds. I also have my own dachshund, Winnie, who is very friendly and used to other dogs, so your dog will have company and social interaction during their stay. If required, I can comfortably crate dogs and will follow any routine or instructions provided by owners to ensure they feel secure and settled. My priority is always to provide a safe, calm, and supervised environment where dogs are well cared for and can relax. 🐾

About: My husband and I are huge animal lovers, and caring for pets is something we genuinely enjoy. We recently lost our beloved dog, Maya, who was part of our family for 17 years, so we understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust. We’re quite experienced at looking after both dogs and cats and always treat them as if they were our own. As I currently have plenty of time at home, your dog will enjoy at least two walks a day, lots of playtime, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. I also hold an enhanced DBS check for additional reassurance. We’d love to welcome your pet into our home and give them all the love, care, and attention they deserve. I’m normally a teacher, but I’m currently on my school holiday, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m home most of the day, which means your pet will receive lots of attention, company, and regular care rather than being left alone for long periods. I can easily adapt to their usual routine, whether that’s walks, feeding times, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable, I always take the time to learn about their usual routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, favourite toys, and any special requirements so I can keep things as familiar as possible. In my home, pets will have a clean, calm, and secure environment with plenty of attention and companionship. We also have a secure garden where dogs can enjoy time outside under supervision. I carefully make sure your pet stays happy, comfortable, and stress-free. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always put their safety and wellbeing first.

About: Having grown up with dogs all my life, and 40 years of owning my own dogs, I can offer your dog a safe, caring and loving holiday. I have 2 Cocker Spaniels and have experience in training and breeding. I have recently retired from 40 years of being a staff nurse and now have the time to devote to caring for doggies. I have recently retired from 40 years as a nurse, so have lots of free time to walk, play and cuddle the dogs. I can offer long or short walks and am always down on Stokes Bay for walks with my dogs, come rain or shine. I have a fully enclosed fenced garden, With 2 Cocker Spaniels of my own. "Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is clean, secure, and dog-friendly, with plenty of space to relax and play. I make sure all hazardous items, foods, and small objects are kept safely out of reach, and dogs are always supervised during play and feeding times.l only accept a limited number of dogs at once so each pet gets individual attention and care. Walks are always done on-lead unless agreed otherwise and I follow each owner's instructions carefully regarding routines, diet, and medications. I also provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: My partner and I have experience looking after both small and medium-sized dogs. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I learned the responsibility that comes with owning a pet and making sure they are happy, healthy, and well cared for. We’ve cared for our friends’ dogs on several occasions, from a few days to a few weeks while they were away or needed an extra helping hand. We made sure they were fed on schedule, taken for at least two walks a day, had plenty of playtime, and received lots of love and attention. We understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so we’ll always follow your instructions and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. We’ll care for your dog just as we would our own. I work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available most weekdays outside of work, as well as evenings and weekends. I know how important it is to find someone reliable, so I’ll always do my best to fit around your schedule and keep you updated while you’re away. I’m also happy to arrange a meet and greet before booking. This gives you and your dog the chance to visit my home, meet me, Archie and Lottie, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before the stay. My home is clean, safe and dog friendly, and I always supervise dogs while they’re together to make sure everyone is happy and getting along. Archie and Lottie are both very friendly and enjoy meeting other dogs, but I’ll always introduce them calmly and at their own pace. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks and any special instructions.
