Care & Affection your pet deserves

Grew up with a border collie (lots of long walks and training). I recently lost a Romanian Princess (rescue dog) and want to care for other people's beloved pets (cats and dogs) the way I took care of her.

Olive had a lovely stay with Kirsty and her family. We had regular updates, photos and videos during her stay. She stayed with them during a heatwave and they did everything to keep her cool, early morning walks, ice fruit bowls. We would love her to stay with Kirsty again :)

Kirsty was brilliant with our ladies. Our rescue who can be nervous with new faces took to Kirsty immediately and didn’t take her self off to hide 🥰 I didn’t feel nervous at all when leaving the house and was very much at ease. The house was left tidy which is much appreciated. Thank you so much and we will 100% be in touch xx

Sonny seemed happy and relaxed in his surroundings when we collected him. We received regular updates whilst away which were reassuring. Communication was good throughout and we were entirely satisfied that Sonny received all the care and attention he needed. Thank you Kirsty.

Kirsty is absolutely amazing with my nervous dog, and very respectful and considerate. I messaged Kirsty first to explain about my dog to see if she is comfortable watching her, and she came for a couple of meet and greets to ensure that my dog is comfortable and happy before Kirsty watched her whilst I was out for the day. She was very attentive to everything I asked of her, and ensured to take notes to make sure that nothing got missed. I loved the photo updates Kirsty sent to me throughout the day and I am so pleased at how quickly my dog became comfortable around her, especially as she does usually take quite a bit of time to warm up to strangers. I am looking forward to asking Kirsty to watch my dog again so I can enjoy a stress free day out, knowing that my dog is in very safe hands!

Schedule

I'm working from home full time. This means I can visit in the morning, lunchtime and evening. Alternatively, I could work from your house (WiFi please). I live with my husband (a bigger live of pets than i) and my 2 year old son. My son is at nursery or other childcare during the week. For boarding or day care, your fur baby wouldn't see him during the weekday. However, he knows to "wave hello and give them some space", they are given separate spaces to eat and rest.

Safety, trust & environment

I can walk your dog on lead or drive them to a safe location for them to be on or off lead. We could do a little training (commands or sniff). Cuddles as wanted by your pet (cat or dog). I find this question tricky because I care for your pets as they need. Each dog or cat are very different in their wants and needs. Due to childcare responsibilities, and to be fair to my partner, I can only house sit for 1 or 2 nights.

A typical day

We will have a cuddle, breakfast then go for a walk then pup has a nap and/or cuddles while I work. Lunch if needed. Wee breaks whenever required. We could go for another walk, nap and/or cuddle. Some training or sniffing activity for the afternoon then dinner. It really depends on the dog's needs. Again, I am flexible to your fur babies' wants and needs.

Let me know if your dog/cat has any particular needs or what they particularly love. A back scratch? A cuddle? On or off lead walks? A favourite toy, or only move for treats/dreamies? Only 1 thing they'll eat prepared in a certain way? Somewhere quiet to sleep?
