Pet loving family
I have been brought up around dogs throughout my childhood and love all sorts of animals. Most recently I have spent the last 3 years fostering for a rescue charity in the USA, rescuing puppies and other dogs from the streets or shelters, giving them loving homes, patience, potty training and preparing them for their furever homes. I have 3 children (9-13) who share my love of animals and stop to stroke every dog/cat in the streets as we walk! I don’t currently have any pets of our own in the house (except fish and a rabbit!) so can give your pet plenty of attention!

We recently adopted two rescues and we're unsure how they would cope having only been with us a short time. Right from the off, Claire reassured us that the dogs would be fine and that she had the previous experience to deal with anything that crops up. She was exactly right, we had nothing to worry about and the dogs were fine even in the hottest heatwave the country has ever seen. Both dogs had a brilliant time and down to Clare's experience and her very welcoming family they settled quickly. We have already discussed booking again in six months time and I'm sure the dogs will be looking forward to it. Cannot fault the service we received.
Claire and her family were fantastic with Percy. Regular updates made us feel super relaxed and it was great to see her enjoying the family environment
Our 2 year old Golden Retriever Max had a lovely stay with Claire & her family. Great communication throughout Max’s weekend stay. We picked up a very happy & sleepy boy!
Claire and her family are great hosts for your pet. Children played a lot with Pongo and they did different walks and activities. We found Pongo happy and relaxed when we picked him up after several days.
Claire and her family welcomed our 2 dachshunds Willow and Olive into their home and making them part of the family. Willow and Olive were unsettled at night( (at 10 months old, this was the first time away from us) Claire slept downstairs, giving our girls reassurance. We received regular updates with photos which were lovely. I will book again without hesitation🐾🐾🐾❤️ xx
Our dogs third stay with Claire. It was lovely to see them run excitedly into her house when we dropped them off. Thoroughly recommend Claire.

Schedule
I work part time from home and can dictate my hours so can be flexible around pets needs, as a family we love long walks at the weekends too and live 5 minutes from the beach.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a 5 bed terraced house in Southsea with an enclosed back yard and 5 minute walk from the beach and fields. Happy to crate or allow pets freedom within our home.
A typical day
During the week we’d go for a walk to the local park/ beach to explore all the new smells. During the weekend we love going on longer walks in the countryside.
