I usually work from home on Mondays and Fridays, but I’m very flexible with my schedule. Weekends are often a great time for me to help out too. Honestly, whenever you need me, just let me know—I’m happy to coordinate and make it work!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel comfortable right away with lots of attention, playtime, and a calm, safe environment. I keep their routine as close to normal as possible—food, walks, naps, and any special needs they have. If I’m caring for them in your home, I follow your instructions closely so your pet feels secure in their own space. I keep everything tidy, send photo updates, and make sure they get plenty of love and activity throughout the day.

Information Yiran S. would like to know about your pet
So I can be your pet’s favorite temporary human, please let me know the essentials: their favorite treats (and how easily they can manipulate me into giving them extra), the exact spot they demand to be scratched, and any routines they take very seriously. Also, flag any dietary rules, medical needs, secret quirks, forbidden behaviors, or commands they actually listen to. The more intel I have, the happier your baby will be — and the fewer judgmental stares I’ll receive (Jks)
A typical day
I try to make every day feel like a nice London day for them. In warmer months, that means relaxed park walks under the trees, long sniffy strolls around the neighbourhood, sitting on a bench people-watching, and plenty of play breaks so no one overheats. Spring and autumn are perfect for longer adventures — crunchy-leaf walks, exploring new routes, and getting all the good smells the season brings. In winter, it’s cosier vibes: shorter walks with extra enthusiasm, towel-downs by the door, indoor games, puzzle toys, and lots of warmth, cuddles, and companionship when it’s dark by 4pm. For cats, that often means window-watching, sun-spot hunting, gentle playtime, and being appropriately admired. Across all seasons, I follow their routine, read their mood, and make sure they get a mix of stimulation, affection, and calm. Whether they’re energetic or more relaxed, the goal is simple — happy, comfortable pets who feel at home while you’re away

Pet care experience
Hi there! I’ve grown up with pets since I was five, so being around animals feels like home to me. When I moved to boarding school, we had dogs in the house too, and that pretty much sealed the deal—I’ve been a dog person ever since. These days I dog-sit with my partner for their two beautiful Labradors, and I regularly hang out with my friend’s elderly Westie, Udon (yes, like the noodle—he’s just as loveable and he hates walking!). I’m patient, responsible, and super flexible with scheduling. I love long dog walks, park time, and giving pets all the attention they deserve. Even my office is dog-friendly, so they’re welcome to come along for the day if that works for you. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or keeping them company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure your pup feels happy and cared for!
Reviews

She took care of my little chihuahua puppy Cherrie, she really cared for her and i felt safe leaving my puppy with her. She sent photos throughout the day would recommend!

My dog Mabel had an amazing time. I felt so comfortable leaving her and knew she’d be safe and happy. Will definitely book again when I’m back in London!
Sonya is absolutely wonderful with my Westie, Udon. She is incredibly caring, patient, and so sweet with him, you can really tell she loves animals and treats them like her own. Udon can be a very stubborn as being an older Westie, but he warmed up to her right away and is always happy and relaxed after spending time with her. He is literally in love with her! I feel completely at ease knowing he’s in her hands. I would 100% recommend Sonya to anyone looking for a sitter they can truly trust with their dog.
Sonya is a responsible and caring pet sitter. She is able to balance multiple demands and does not let people down or fail a commitment. She’s quickly responsive to messages. I have also never met a bigger animal lover, and she had experience with pets of family and friends.
