Availability

On weekdays, I can do morning and evening visits before and after work - weekends I can be a bit more flexible. Overnight stays will usually involve me going to work during the day, but I will spend as much time with your kitty as I can.

Safety, trust & environment

I will do a meet and greet visit so you can meet me in person and show me the routine. I'm careful to follow instructions about safety - I have three cats of my own and I know how important it is to know they're in good hands.

Information Margaret P. would like to know about your pet

Do let me know about any medications or special instructions around outside/inside access, etc. I will also always ask where your carrier is, and what vet you're registered with, in case of emergency - this has never happened, but it's best to be prepared. Also, if your cat is young and hasn't yet been spayed/neutered, please let me know, as these cats will need extra vigilance to keep them from escaping.

A typical day

I will take lots of photos so you know what's going on. For shy cats, I'll generally set myself up in a place out of the main access to food, with some treats and toys, and let them come to me, starting with slow blinks and letting them get to know my smell. I will never push your cat for interactions they're uncomfortable with. More confident cats can go straight to playtime, with cuddles, toys, and "throw the treats to chase" games.
