“Josefin was brilliant. Communicating with her was super easy, she was punctual and sent us very thorough updates. More importantly, she made our cat feel comfortable, kept his routine consistent, and gained his trust. This gave us so much peace of mind and we were able to enjoy our holiday fully. Thank you Josefin!”

“Caroline was great with our dog Scampi. She helped me out last minute and was great with communication. I got photos and details of her visit and came home to a walked, fed, happy dog. Thanks again Caroline xx”

About: I really enjoy pets and have respect for all animals. I feel pets are very individual and would tailor care to their needs, whether lots of attention, exercise or play. I know the need for peace of mind entrusting your loved one, and can assure you of responsible, dependable care. I'm currently semi retired so have time to enjoy looking after furry friends, as I know how crucial it is to have someone trustworthy in your home. I walk 10k steps a day so happy to take dogs walking or play with them. If it's an older dog or cat that just wants to chill then that's ok too. I'm used to adapting to different household requirements through my work and being Health & Safety aware, so rest assured your pet will be in safe hands.
About: My experience with pet care started years ago by spending time with friends’ dogs of all shapes and sizes. Since this spring (as I started working remotely), I’ve been dog sitting in London more regularly, which has given me the chance to spend meaningful time with different breeds (but mostly Cockapoos), personalities, and energy levels. I currently work from home 99.99% of the time, which means I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs I care for. I am based in Walthamstow and there are a few nice parks around where I can bring your pup for a walk. For long stays, I am happy to go for 2-3 walks a day (morning, afternoon and evening). In terms of feeding, I would follow your instructions. Your pet will never be left alone - I’m always nearby to give them attention and care. I live in a three-room flat. We’re also lucky to have several lovely parks close by, perfect for daily walks and fresh-air adventures. I’ll happily keep you updated with photos as often as you’d like, and if I’m ever uncertain about anything, I’ll check in with you right away to make sure your pup’s routine and comfort are always prioritized.
“Had such a brilliant experience with Leanna - looked after my cat with such great care and shared so many lovely updates with us whilst we were away on holiday. We had total peace of mind :) thanks Leanna!”

About: I live in Walthamstow with my husband, baby, and two cats, Dracula and Nico. Dracula is a senior and Nico is a very lively kitten. I'm currently on maternity leave so have availability to cat sit in my neighbourhood. I'm currently on maternity leave so flexible to drop by at any time that works for your cat's feeding schedule, including multiple times a day. I have experience dealing with anxious cats, senior cats, and giving cats medication. I'm also an experienced dog owner and happy to consider dog walking bookings.
“Our cats loved Giovanna, she sent us lovely videos and we were surprised how much shy Hermione adored her! She played with them, fed and brushed them and we've returned to very happy cats, which is the biggest sign of a great cat sitter, we were in trouble last time we came home after using someone else! We'll definitely use her again and again”

“Patrick was amazing looking after my cat Sox whilst I was away. He was very punctual, reliable and diligent. I felt Sox was in good hands and he certainly was. Patrick also communicated with me daily, sending daily pics for my ease. Highly recommend.”

“Attentive, caring and thoughtful. Bianca did a fantastic job with the week she had with my Rabbit Leopold. Leo took to her very quickly, and she gave him the love and attention he needed whilst we were away. Usually he doesn't eat much when we are away, but it was good to see he still had some appetite! Bianca went the extra mile and also cleared out our bins and put them back after bin day. Bianca certainly made my life, and my rabbit Leo's life much easier. Highly recommend and will be booking Bianca again.”

“Sophie was excellent! She left very detailed and sweet messages about how our kitties were getting on and shared lots of photos, which made us very happy and relaxed that they were being very well taken care of. We will definitely book Sophie again. Thanks much for the great care Sophie!! :)”

About: After completing my Animal Management Level 3 Qualification at BCA College, I have taken my experience and used it for the better! I am currently unemployed, and have taken up dog walking/sitting as my own independent business. I have 2 years of experience in Animal Behaviour Management and Animal Welfare — I have had two dogs within my lifetime, to which have sadly passed away. I am enthusiastic, loving, fun and reliable, and will definitely take care of your furry friend! As I am currently unemployed, pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine because I treat it as a top priority. I plan my days around consistent walking and feeding times, ensuring I am always punctual and dependable. Whether it's a midday walk or an evening check-in, I keep a highly organized schedule so I can give every dog my full, unhurried attention while keeping you updated along the way. Unfortunately, I am not able to take any pets into my own home due to the fact that I have one dog and two cats.
“Ally was fantastic — very reliable, caring, and incredibly precise with her updates throughout. It was really reassuring knowing Obama was in such good hands while we were away. Communication was excellent, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the cats she looks after. We would definitely book her again. Highly recommended!”

“Liv is a lovely sitter who has shown genuine care for my little puppy since the very first time meeting. It’s so re-assuring knowing that my dog will be looked after with great care and enthusiasm when I can’t be with her, and I get loads of updates from the time they spend together which is really nice.”

“Roshni was able to drop in on our dog at short notice, and was incredibly accommodating with rearranging her plans. Great communication throughout and came home to a happy pooch!”

About: We’re Khush and Triv, originally from New Delhi, India, and now living in London. We’re both lifelong dog lovers—Khush grew up with his black Labrador, Bruce, and Triv spent her childhood caring for the local street dogs in her neighbourhood. Even today, whenever we go back home, we still look after the street dogs in Delhi, whether it’s feeding them, giving them cuddles, or just making sure they’re safe. Khush works a 9 to 5 in travel & Triv is a PhD student researching women in sports and also works part-time, but together we give all the time, care, and affection your dogs need. Our hearts are always with our own baby, Joey, whom Khush rescued from a busy street near his office—he’s a huge part of our lives and the reason we love offering care to other dogs too. Here’s the lowdown: Khush works a 9 to 5, Meanwhile, Triv’s a PhD student with a part-time job and a flexible schedule — so with a little notice, we can usually make weekday care work too. Think of us as your dependable (and dog-obsessed) weekend and flexible weekday caretakers! With us, your dogs get all the homey pampering, endless playtime, and plenty of love. It’s all about making your pup’s day awesome! 🐾🐕😊 We’re big believers in safety, trust, and creating a calm, loving environment for every dog we care for. This isn’t just a job for us — we genuinely enjoy it and take the time to understand each pet’s routine and personality so they feel safe and loved. We’re very respectful of other people’s homes and always follow instructions carefully, maintain cleanliness, and keep your dog’s familiar routine. Your trust means a lot, and we treat every animal like family. When dogs stay with us, we know it’s a new environment, so we give them plenty of time to settle in, explore, and get comfortable at their own pace. We also make sure they get regular outdoor breaks — usually every 2 hours for a pee or poo. And yes… dogs are welcome on our furniture! We love cuddles on the sofa or bed if that’s what they’re used to. Our home is cosy, warm, and totally dog-friendly — a place where pups can relax, play, and feel right at home. Our goal is simple: a safe, playful, and comforting space where your dog feels secure and happy.

About: Hi, I’m Katy! Dogs have always been a big part of my life — I grew up surrounded by them and have loved helping care for the family pets from a young age. Over the years, I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs whenever they’ve needed an extra hand, whether that’s for walks, playtime, or cuddles at home. I’ve lived with Tibetan Terriers and Bichon Frises, so I’m confident with washing, grooming, and keeping pups looking (and feeling!) their best. I’ve had experience with dogs of all ages and training levels, from playful puppies to older companions, and I know how to command their attention and encourage good behavior in a kind and patient way. More recently, I’ve been involved in helping train my mum’s two new puppies, so I’m very familiar with the ups and downs of puppyhood — and I truly enjoy the process of helping them learn and grow. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime in the park, or some well-deserved belly rubs, I’ll make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and cared for. Although I work full-time I work from home twice a week and am available throughout the weekend. For longer stays my office is also dog friendly so they'd be able to come with me to work and wouldn't have to stay at home alone. I'm active and enjoy walking which is always more fun when you have a dog to keep you company. I also have a car and would be more than happy to take them out to forests or beaches if your dog loves a longer walk! I live in a first floor flat with plenty of space for dog beds/crates, whatever your dog needs. I have a small fenced back garden accessed from the kitchen with a small lawn for your dog to explore. If I'm staying at your property I'll follow your and your pets usual routine and take them to all their favourite places.
About: I absolutely love caring for animals and always treat every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to get to know their personality and routines, so whether your pet is shy and gentle, full of beans, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities, from playful one-year-olds to senior dogs needing special attention. I’ve cared for blind dogs and pets with allergies, so I understand how important it is to be attentive to their unique health and comfort needs. I’m also comfortable administering medication if required, and always approach each furry friend with calmness and care. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds, from the playful and affectionate Bernese Mountain Dog, to the high-energy and alert nature of hunting dogs like Pointers and Greyhounds, to the sweet (and sometimes stubborn!) personalities of smaller breeds like Beagles and Cavalier Spaniels. Each one has taught me something new, and I genuinely love getting to know their quirks and routines. If your pet is staying overnight, I’ll make sure you feel connected and reassured with regular updates, photos, and videos. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing they’re in caring, experienced hands. I’ve also worked as a sitter on other platforms and would be happy to provide references upon request. Caring for animals is not just something I do, it’s something I love. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the same level of care and affection I’d want for my own :) I work from home, so I’m very flexible and able to give your pet lots of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to host them at my home, where they’ll have a secure garden to enjoy and a calm space to relax in. If you’re away for a few days, I’ll follow their usual routine, including walk times, feeding, and any special needs, to keep things familiar and stress-free. You’ll also receive regular photo updates for peace of mind while you're away. Your pet will be welcomed into a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so they’ll have my full attention. Since I work from home, I’m around all day to keep them company, and they’ll also have access to a secure fenced garden for play and fresh air.
About: I’m based in Walthamstow, living with my boyfriend in a lovely flat with outdoor space. We miss having pets at home - when we lived in Oxford we looked after family and friends pets all the time, and then had a good stint on borrowmydoggy in London. We are hoping to get a pet in the next couple of years but until then love spending time looking after lil cats and doggies! I’m available for pet sitting / dog walking for the majority of week as I work from home most days - can be as flexible as needed. We have 2 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen living room which leads out onto an enclosed safe balcony - we spend most of the time in the living room playing or cuddling.

Melissa is great! She has made a real effort to understand Brennan and Ollie’s needs and personalities. They both already love her after just a couple of drop in visits and walks. My partner and I are really happy with her services and would definitely recommend her!

Josefin was brilliant. Communicating with her was super easy, she was punctual and sent us very thorough updates. More importantly, she made our cat feel comfortable, kept his routine consistent, and gained his trust. This gave us so much peace of mind and we were able to enjoy our holiday fully. Thank you Josefin!

We re-booked Kate to look after Lisa again whilst we were away for a week in Norway. It was a hot week in London so we were worried about ensuring Lisa was comfortable in the heat, Kate followed all our instructions about leaving the fan on and left extra bowls of water out. We received regular updates about how Lisa was doing and we were happy she was being looked after well. The house was also left in a tidy state which was great. Thanks again Kate!

Assia was fantastic from the get go! I was worried Paulie 🐈⬛ would just hide the whole time she visited but immediately when the visit began I had photos of him flopping down in front of her. Will absolutely be booking again. Thank you Assia for making Paulie feel comfortable ♥️♥️

I would highly recommend Debora to anyone looking for a kind and trustworthy person to look after their cat when they are away. Our cat is prone to stress induced cystitis and Debora was very understanding and took great care in checking on him and sending us lots of videos to give us peace of mind. She is also very responsive and flexible. Plus my cat loved her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
