“Gráinne was a great cat sitter, she kept us up to date with lots of videos and pictures and seemed to get on really well with our cat Dolly. Would definitely use her services again and recommend to others. Thank you :) ”

“Our cats loved Giovanna, she sent us lovely videos and we were surprised how much shy Hermione adored her! She played with them, fed and brushed them and we've returned to very happy cats, which is the biggest sign of a great cat sitter, we were in trouble last time we came home after using someone else! We'll definitely use her again and again”

“Jo has been great looking after Jellybean whilst I was away. The daily messages and photos were wonderful and very reassuring. I have come back to a happy cat. Jo also watered my garden plants for me. I'd definitely use Jo again. Many thanks Jo! ”

About: Current Service Availability: |Bristol - Drop in visits, Overnight stays| |London - Drop in visits, Overnight stays| |Bath - overnight stays only| (My work office is based in Bath, but I live between Bristol and London) I absolutely love chilling out with my friendly animal companions and feel blessed to have found some wonderful play time and cuddle buddies through pet sitting. I grew up around cats, birds and fish and always enjoyed the company of the animal companions around me. By now, I've looked after numerous pets, initially extending to family and family friends and over time extending out to the wider community (UK and Europe), where I have been able to enjoy helping many more people with their pet care needs while they are away. It’s something I had wanted to do for quite some time, so I've really enjoyed finally taking it on! Aside from pet care, life for me is about exploring and experiencing more of what this world has going for it. I enjoy my solitude, and when I'm not working, I spend my time learning and/or practicing a random variety of things. Languages tends to be my focus most recently, along with building up endurance for ever longer walks and bike outings. I'm also working on trying to read more books.

“Leila is friendly, reliable, communicative, and was clearly loved by our cat, Billi, who she looked after very well for us when we were on holiday. Highly recommended. Thank you, Leila.”
“We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! Ally was incredibly reliable, precise and thoughtful throughout our time away. As we were away for quite a long time, it was such a relief knowing our cat was in such good hands. She kept everything well organised and was always happy to help with a few extra bits when needed. We really appreciated how caring and attentive she was. We’d absolutely recommend Ally and would happily have her look after our cat again! ❤️”

“Liv is a lovely sitter who has shown genuine care for my little puppy since the very first time meeting. It’s so re-assuring knowing that my dog will be looked after with great care and enthusiasm when I can’t be with her, and I get loads of updates from the time they spend together which is really nice.”

“Josefin was brilliant. Communicating with her was super easy, she was punctual and sent us very thorough updates. More importantly, she made our cat feel comfortable, kept his routine consistent, and gained his trust. This gave us so much peace of mind and we were able to enjoy our holiday fully. Thank you Josefin!”

“Adam did a fantastic job with our cats. They’re nervous of new people and it was so nice to see how they trusted him and clearly enjoyed his company. We had updates and videos everyday with each visit, which was really reassuring. Our home was left tidy and the gang were comfortable and happy. Excellent communication, very trustworthy and took the time to get to know our cats personalities. Highly recommend - definitely will book Adam again!”

About: I love animals and love playing with them. I am careful, patient and responsive. Although I have not kept cat or dog, I have kept hamsters for 2 and a half years. I am currently non-employment. Therefore, I can take care of your pets very often, no matter on weekdays or weekends. Also, I have plenty of time to play with your pets. I can take care of the pets at pet owner's home. Yet, I need to have pre-site seeing before confirming the order. I need to know more about the pets.

Hannah was fantastic with our bengal! We had real peace of mind that he was being well looked after while we were away. Shana was great! She came over to do a drop in visit for Milo, made sure he had his dinner, toilet break, a play and some company while we were out. She kept in touch before and after and nothing was an issue. We had a handful of photos while we were out and it looked like Milo had a really lovely time. Will definitely be in touch again when we need another drop-in. Thank you!

Julie was great! She made sure to understand where everything was and as much about our cat Mikey as she could before taking care of him for 24 hours. Mikey loved her and wasn’t his usual shy self. And she stayed double the time to make sure he was happy and settled.

Hi! Sara was a fantastic cat sitter. She was reliable, caring, and sent regular photo updates that gave me real peace of mind. She also kindly watered my plants while I was away. I'd happily book her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful cat sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
