About: I have had a range of different dogs and have always trained my own puppies to sit, stay, paw, rollover (some got it), toilet training, getting them slowly used to noises, ands to walk nicely. I able to walk dogs any days between 8.am and 5pm. I have a cocker spaniel that will come out on a few walks with me to. I have a fenced back garden for the dogs to play in and relax. Feeding when needed and fresh water available all day, I am used to giving medication and any cleaning of pets that is needed.
“Emily is a really lovely young lady with a calm manner. She came to meet Otis with a few bags of treats and won him (and us!) over immediately! She is very quick to respond to requests on Rover and was always on time and prepared to take care of Otis. We felt very comfortable and at ease leaving Otis is Emily’s care.”

“I have used Sheena a few times now for drop in visits. She is excellent with my high energetic Labrador and has stayed far longer than 30 minutes on a few occasions. Very trustworthy and leaves detailed reports. Thank you.”

“Philippa was really lovely with our 2 cats. We booked for an hour each day as one of them is a kitten who needed extra fuss and attention, and our usual person could cover one of the feeding sessions needed each day. I was a little nervous as hadn’t used anything like this before, but I definitely will do so again. Philippa left a lovely summary of each visit and I looked forward to the update photos, which were great. I’d definitely recommend Philippa”

“April was THE best! She was able to accommodate our last minute request to pop in a few times throughout the day to check on our 2 cats whilst we were away! She was even able to meet us a day before starting the visits to meet them. For each drop in, April provided us with updates, and pictures - the cats seemed to be really comfortable and happy around her each time!”

About: I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals. Growing up, I owned two dogs — a Cocker Spaniel and a Springer Spaniel — which gave me a strong foundation in responsible pet care and training. I also kept budgies and successfully raised their chicks, gaining valuable experience in handling and nurturing small animals. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have looked after friends’ dogs of various breeds and sizes while they were on holiday, ensuring each pet received appropriate exercise, attention, and care. More recently, I have been providing cat care for my neighbours during their time away, maintaining their routines and offering companionship. I take pride in providing reliable, compassionate, and attentive care for all animals entrusted to me. I am currently working full time 9-5 during the week and looking for some lovely pets to help me relax after a stressful day at work. I am also willing to offer my services on weekends depending on my availability. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and special needs, ensuring they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s following specific feeding instructions, keeping walks safe and fun, or sending regular updates, I treat every dog as if they were my own. You can trust that your pet will be in responsible, loving hands at all times.

About: As a dog owner myself, I completely understand how stressful it can be to book a holiday or spend time away from home while worrying about who will care for your furry family member. I will provide your pet with all the love and care they would receive at home so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. I have been looking after friends’ dogs and pets for many years while they are away on weekends or longer holidays abroad. It is something I have always found incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, which is why I decided to make it part of my career. This year, I completed a Dog First Aid course at Capel Manor College. I grew up with dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow routines closely, keep owners updated, and make sure every pet settles in quickly so they feel secure and relaxed. I treat every animal as if they were my own and genuinely love having them around Our home is perfectly set up for pet care, with a large private garden, plenty of nearby parks and green spaces, and a peaceful indoor environment for naps and downtime. You tell me your pet’s routine, and I’ll stick to it while keeping you updated throughout their stay. I also offer daycare services with plenty of walks and enrichment, which can be ideal if you’re working, planning a day out, or simply want your dog to have some company and stimulation during the day. We have an 8-year-old crossbreed dog who loves having furry friends around. We also have a dwarf rabbit who lives in a separate room and free-roams around unless we have guests. The room remains closed when we have visiting pets, ensuring everyone stays safe and comfortable. We regularly enjoy walks in beautiful local areas such as Whitewebbs Park and Forty Hall, as well as exploring other nearby parks and green spaces. If your dog is nervous around other dogs, that’s absolutely fine. I have the space to keep pets separate when needed and always give them the patience and reassurance they need to feel comfortable in their new surroundings. While you’re away, I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you never have to worry about how your pet is settling in, whether they’re eating well, or if they’re missing you. My aim is to give you complete peace of mind while making sure your pet feels happy, loved, and cared for every step of the way. My pet sitting schedule is designed to keep dogs comfortable, happy, and settled in their usual routine. As I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and have plenty of companionship, supervision, and reassurance throughout the day. The day typically starts with a trip into the garden for a quick toilet break as soon as they wake up, followed by breakfast and some relaxed morning time. Dogs are welcome to join me on my daughter’s school run if suitable for them, giving them some gentle stimulation and company. Throughout the day, there is plenty of time for resting, relaxing, and naps to ensure they feel calm and at home. Around midday, I usually take dogs for a walk with time for play, ball catching, and exercise depending on their energy levels and preferences. Later in the afternoon, we head out again for the school pick-up walk. On weekends, we love exploring different parks, walking routes, and new areas, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for enrichment, sniffing, and adventure if they enjoy being active and outdoors. I always aim to stick closely to each dog’s normal routine and will happily adapt to their individual needs. If a dog prefers a quieter, less active day, I will absolutely accommodate their pace and preferences to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. Safety, trust, and creating a calm home environment are extremely important to me when caring for dogs. I have a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor time and always make sure doors are kept locked and windows are not left open to prevent any chance of escape. My home and garden are pet-friendly, and I do not keep any poisonous plants accessible to dogs. Dogs are treated as part of the family while staying with us and are free to relax comfortably around the home. I do not use kennels or cages unless this is specifically requested by the owner and is part of the dog’s normal routine. I work from home, so dogs receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My daughter is a teenager who absolutely loves animals and has grown up surrounded by pets, so she is very calm, gentle, and confident around dogs. My husband is also a huge dog lover, as is our son, who is currently at university but comes home frequently and has also grown up with pets all his life. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, so I provide daily updates along with photos and videos so owners can see their dog happy, settled, and enjoying their stay.

“Selda visited once a day to feed my one-year-old cat, Mabel, while I was away over Christmas, and I couldn’t have felt more at ease. From our first meeting when I handed over the house key, I was completely confident that Mabel was in safe and caring hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Selda and will definitely be using her again. Thank you 🤗”

About: I I’ve got over 8 years of hands-on dog-sitting experience and have grown up around pets all my life. At home, I care for my two dogs, Cookie and Lola, and my two cats, Marvel and Zeus, so I’m very used to different personalities, routines, and little quirks. I also help out with my mum’s doggy day care, looking after a wide range of dogs, many of them are now long-term regulars who I’ve really grown attached to over time. It’s such a lovely feeling seeing familiar faces come back, and I’ve honestly fallen a bit in love with quite a few of them! This experience has helped me feel confident handling different temperaments and making sure each dog feels safe, settled, and genuinely cared for. I truly love what I do and always want every pet to feel like they’re in a calm, happy, and caring home. I work full time Monday to Friday, but I’m available in the evenings as well as full weekends and overnight care. I can offer a range of services including walks, feeding, playtime, sitting, and keeping your pet company. Due to living at home with other pets and family members, I currently offer pet care in the owner’s home. I’m always respectful of your space and will make sure to follow any house rules, routines, or specific instructions you have for your pet.
“Alicia looked after our pet for four days while we were away... feeding, walking and interacting with him including lots of cuddles which is his favourite. She has a very kind, calm and caring nature which made it easy for us to trust her with our dog and our house while away. From the moment we met her at the meet and greet we could see that she really cares about animals. We received an update with photos daily during each visit and that really helped us to enjoy our holiday without worrying about our baby at home. I can highly recommend Alicia without a doubt. Thank you Alicia 🤩👌🏻”

Siobhan was absolutely fantastic looking after my two cats while I was away on a couple of trips. She came over beforehand to meet them and immediately came across as professional, friendly, and trustworthy, which gave me complete confidence in leaving both my home and my cats in her care. She stuck to their normal feeding routines, watered my plants, and kept me updated throughout with WhatsApp photos and videos, which was really reassuring. What impressed me most was that one of my cats is incredibly shy and, over the five days Siobhan looked after them, she managed to get her eating from her hand. In the six years I've had her, that's never happened before to anyone apart from me! It was a pleasure having Siobhan look after my cats, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. I'll definitely be using her again in the future whenever I need someone to care for them. Thank you again, Siobhan!

Suse is absolutely lovely and I can't recommend her enough. Both of my cats can be quite timid, but they both adore her (one very much in their own way 😂). The updates are fantastic, with loads of great photos, and I was able to properly relax and enjoy my holiday instead of constantly checking the cameras at home! This was my second time Suse has looked after my cats and I have zero regrets. In fact, I've already booked her for my upcoming trips as well. Knowing my cats are happy and well looked after makes all the difference.

I booked Ash to look after my little girl, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Ash is incredibly warm, caring, and truly loves dogs. She treated my girl as if she were her own, and my dog bonded with her instantly. You can genuinely feel how patient, gentle, and trustworthy she is. Ash went above and beyond every single time — she was helpful, communicative, and always made sure my girl was happy, safe, and comfortable. They truly became like best friends. I’m so grateful to have found her. I highly, highly recommend Ash to anyone looking for someone loving, responsible, and amazing with dogs. She’s truly a gem.♥️♥️♥️

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
