Hi! We're João and Lara, a couple based in North London who love providing care for your pets. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, reactive, elderly or simply loves lots of cuddles, we'll make sure they receive the same care, patience and routine they're used to at home. We know every animal has their own personality, and we take the time to build trust at their pace. João grew up in the Santarém mountains of Portugal surrounded by large working dog breeds, while Lara grew up in a cat-loving family and has spent her life caring for rescue and stray cats. Together we've cared for everything from tiny lap dogs to energetic young dogs, as well as confident, shy and rescue cats. We'll keep you updated throughout every booking with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe and well looked after. We'll prioritise safety, comfort, and a calm environment for every pet. Me and my partner Lara, will keep areas clean and secure, follow feeding and medication routines carefully, and give plenty of attention and supervision. Pets in our care feel safe, loved, and stress-free, whether in my home or theirs.

Joao and his partner were great, they took good care of our cat during my holiday and updated us every day with pictures and videos. I can not recommend them enough and I will make sure to book them again next time we'll need a catsitter!
I cannot recommend Joao and his lovely partner Lara enough!!! I was so at ease on my holiday, they were so easy to communicate with and figured everything out themselves. They knew exactly how to take care of Moussey - I’ve returned home to a happy little baby who I know is missing them a lot! Joao and Lara took amazing care of our dog Milo and our cat Casper while we were away. They kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us real peace of mind. It was clear that both pets were happy, comfortable, and well looked after. They followed all of our instructions carefully, and we came home to two very relaxed and content pets. Joao and his partner came and watched our 2 dogs for 1 night. This is the first time we had used this service. Joao was amazing 🤗🤗. We received constant updates, videos and photos. Joao and Lara were respectful of our dogs and our home...100 % will be using again.. cannot recommend highly enough.. Will be sharing on social media, friends and family... Our dog really loves when Joao and Lara looks after him. They send regular updates and take such good care of our home.
Joao and Lara looked after my dog for a week! He is quite nervous and takes a while to warm up to strangers, but he was clearly so well taken care of as he was very relaxed when we returned home. The house was also very taken care of as was spotless when we returned. Thank you very much

Schedule
I work hybrid and Lara is self-employed, so we have a flexible schedule and can easily adapt to your pet’s needs. We will make sure every pet gets consistent care and attention at times that work best for you and your routine.
