About: I’ve been a devoted pet owner to two dogs and have developed a deep understanding of animal care and behavior over the years. I have a natural gift for connecting with animals and creating a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and comfortable. Friends and family have relied on me to provide attentive care, including walking, feeding, playtime, companionship, and maintaining daily routines. I treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same level of care I would give my own. I am currently working from home part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dogs/s. I have a beautiful countryside around my home, peaceful area and open space fields where I can take your dog for long walks. I am available for dog sitting on weekends, and on a bank holidays. I am looking forward to meet your animal companion. A Home Away From Home for Your Pet I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust. That's why I provide a warm, loving, and relaxed home where your dog will be cared for as if they were my own. Your pet will enjoy plenty of attention, cuddles, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I have a secure, enclosed garden where dogs can safely run, play, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors under my supervision. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply curling up for a nap after some affection, I'll make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and secure. I follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, medications, and any special instructions. Every dog is unique, so I take the time to understand their personality, preferences, and needs to help them settle in and feel completely at home. I have a genuine love for animals and understand that they are cherished members of the family. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you're away, knowing your pet is receiving plenty of love, care, and individual attention in a safe and caring environment. I look forward to welcoming your furry friend into my home and giving them a fun, relaxing, and happy stay!

About: Animals mean a great deal to me, and I’m naturally very caring, empathetic and patient. I always take time to understand each animal’s personality and ensure they feel happy, comfortable and safe in my care. I have over five years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats. I adopted a pregnant cat and raised her seven kittens, finding loving homes for six of them in pairs and keeping one myself. I’ve also cared for my own small-breed dog, a Pomeranian, Pug and Chihuahua mix, for five years, alongside providing cat drop-ins and overnight stays for others over the last two to three years. I run my own fully remote business, so I can work from anywhere and provide plenty of company during house sits. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s individual routine, care for them as I would my own, and keep you reassured with regular photos and updates. I’m responsible, mature and always respectful of each owner’s home and preferences. I run my own fully remote business, so I can work from anywhere and have plenty of flexibility around pet care. During overnight house sits, I can work from the pet owner’s home and provide plenty of company throughout the day. I’m generally available on both weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-in visits and overnight stays, and I’ll always agree timings in advance and work around each pet’s usual routine. I currently provide care in pet owners’ homes rather than boarding pets in my own home. I’ll carefully follow all instructions relating to feeding, walks, toilet breaks, sleeping arrangements and individual routines. I always ensure doors, windows and gates are secure, keep dogs safely on their lead unless agreed otherwise, and never introduce pets to unfamiliar animals without permission. Before a first booking, I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to learn about your pet’s personality, routine, veterinary details and emergency contacts. I’ll treat your home respectfully, keep everything clean and tidy, and provide regular photos and updates for reassurance.
“If I could give more stars, I would. Michelle is so caring and knowledgeable about pets, it is INCREDIBLE. Not only she is kind to your pet but she is also an absolute joy to talk to. When coming back to my cat it felt like no one ever left because of how relaxed and happy he looked. Michelle did her best (and probably beyond) to please him when she visited! She played with him, treated him like a king and gave us regular updates. She will definitely become our cat’s funny auntie who comes to babysit.”

About: I have always had cats, no dogs as I was working full time. I now own a Cavichon/Beagle as I work part time. I used to volunteer dog socialising up until COVID, but we had to stop then. So I started dog sitting and now sit for 2 Whippets, an Australian Labradoodle, a Boston Terrier and a miniature Dashund. I also walked a Vet students Cockapoo for a year. I am mad about dogs. I lost my two elderly cats. So now I only have my dog, who is very laid back. I am now retired so free to walk and Dog sit Mondays to Fridays, Also some weekend availability. I absolutely love dogs and love walking them. I would take great care of your dog and love playing with them too. I have a secure fenced back garden and access to plenty of parks within 15 minutes walk of my house. I am happy to take dogs in my car if they are used to cars. I just love caring for dogs. I am now retired so I can take bookings Monday to Friday so I will have plenty of time to play and walk your dog. I have a secure back garden and a pet friendly house, pets are allowed on my furniture. If I walk your dog I will keep on a lead, and if I am in your home keep all exits secured.
About: I don’t just “walk” dogs. I pay attention to them. The nervous ones, the stubborn ones, the shy ones I get to know what makes each dog going . Walks aren’t rushed, they’re structured, calm, and built around your dog’s pace, personality, and little quirks. Whether that means extra sniff stops, a consistent route they feel safe on, or just someone who actually notices when something’s off—I’m on it. You get peace of mind knowing your dog is in steady, reliable hands. Your dog gets a walk that actually feels like theirs. I am currently offering my services during the day for dog walking , popins and short pet sitting , I am a full-time Monday through to sunday I always offer popins for small animals and exotic animals I care for pets in their home following their routine, structure making sure they are happy and healthy with walks, feeding and lots of cuddles and play . I am level 3 animals management qualified , dbs check and comfortable around large breeds . Looking to do boarding in the future

About: Hyaa I’m Nikath! I’ve spent my life around dogs, not as a professional job, but as a genuine lifelong passion. I've grown up caring for my own dogs, many of whom were street dogs I raised from a young age. This taught me the patience and responsibility needed for everything from feeding and bathing to nursing pups back to health when they were sick. While I’m just starting to offer my help to others, I’ve always been the reliable person friends turn to when they need a hand. I am naturally very active, so I’m a great match for dogs who need more than just a slow walk. I’m happy to go on brisk runs or long treks to keep your pup's energy levels balanced. I’m an independent animal lover who will give your dog undivided, one-on-one attention. I value clear communication and will send you regular photo updates so you can see that your furry baby is happy and safe. I would love to meet you and your pup for a no-pressure chat to see if we’re a good fit:) I am currently a 6th form student, which means I have great flexibility! I am available throughout the weekdays and have full availability on weekends to provide dog walking or sitting. If I'm either staying over or just popping in for a walk, I’m really thorough about safety. I always double-check that all doors and gates are locked behind me and make sure your home stays exactly how you left it. I also take your dog’s habits and house rules seriously. If there are rooms that are off-limits or a specific way you handle meal times, I’ll stick to that 100%. My goal is to keep things consistent so your dog stays happy and you can relax knowing everything is under control.

My Home • Non-smoking & non-vaping home • Clean, spacious open-plan house • Exceptionally clean and regularly sanitised to provide a safe, hygienic environment • Secure, private garden with all-day access • Calm, home-from-home environment • One household at a time for personalised care • Regular photo updates, so you never feel out of the loop ***Your pet isn’t just being looked after - they’re treated as part of the family*** I also provide regular verbal interaction and positive engagement throughout the day to support mental stimulation, cognitive enrichment and overall wellbeing. Doggy Day Care Your pet will enjoy one-to-one care in a calm, welcoming home environment, with access to a secure garden, playtime, walks and plenty of attention. I only care for one household’s pets at a time, allowing me to give your pet my full attention and keep their day calm, comfortable and personalised. Overnight Boarding My boarding service offers a true home-from-home experience, with daily walks, playtime, affection and plenty of company. I only board one household’s pets at a time, creating a peaceful and relaxed environment where your pet can settle in and feel at home. Dog Walking Every walk is tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, personality and usual routine. Your dog receives one-to-one attention, exercise and enrichment, while their safety and wellbeing always remain my top priority. I currently do dog and cat sitting full time. I live in a house and have a private garden so there is plenty of space! I do not have other pets so if your dog doesn’t like being around other dogs or cats then that is perfectly fine and not an issue.
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, i would treat any animal like my own. I pride myself on being a very caring person and I always go the extra mile to help and care for others wherever I can. I have a love for animals and will do everything I can to ensure your pet is comfortable with me. I work full time for the NHS, however I have availability in the weekday evenings, some weekends and some lunchtimes when I work from home. I will always ensure I treat anyone’s home like my own, I will ensure I understand exactly what is needed and ensure I follow through on those tasks.

About: - I used to live in Alaska, so I am used to and committed to winter walks, playdates and dog park visits. - I have experience providing 24-hour care for newborn puppies and senior dogs. - I am happy with dogs/puppies and cats/kittens and open to other pets. - I have administered prescribed medication such as tablets, ointments, and syringe medicine to dogs, and I generally ensure that I uphold a pet's routines while the owner is away. - I have done general grooming for dogs and cats (baths, drying, brushing, tooth brushing, nail clipping). - My longest house sit (& dogsit) was 40 nights. During house sits I am respectful of the owner's property, keeping it clean, tending to house plants, and being a good house guest. - I send lots of pics and regularly update the owners when they are away. - I am comfortable with clingy and independent pets alike. I've had some dogs that couldn't be left alone for their own safety and slept beside me, and some dogs that liked alone time. - I am also a considerate and responsible dog walker, properly disposing of dog poo. - I like to pet-sit for the companionship that pets offer and because, particularly with dogs and dog walking, it encourages me to go outside and go on walks, which is good for the dog and for me. - In the past, I have done housesitting while working remotely, so it meshed well with my schedule and was helpful for pets that needed round-the-clock supervision and company; now I am a student, so I have a similarly flexible schedule. - I'm waiting for school to start, and until then I have a largely flexible schedule and can housesit/petsit for several hours at a time, overnight or for a couple of days. - Available from *6 AM - 6 PM (*depending on your proximity to me) - Need 12 hours' notice minimum I keep food off the floor and counters and store it in cabinets/ fridge, out of reach of pets that like to sneak food off the counter. I ensure the water bowl is always filled so the pet is never thirsty. I regularly clean up food bowls so they don't lie empty and dirty between feeds. I change/clear the litter when it needs changing and keep the area around the litter clean. I properly dispose of any choking hazards and don't feed pets anything they shouldn't eat.
About: I’ve owned cats for many years (three in total) and have extensive hands-on experience with daily cat care including feeding, litter cleaning, and understanding different personalities, from shy to more social cats. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs, including regular walks, following lead etiquette, and sticking to established routines. I currently offer a limited number of dog walks alongside my main focus on cat drop-in visits. I fit pet care around my main work schedule, offering cat drop-in visits once a day or every other day, and 1–2 dog walks per week. I plan visits in advance to ensure I arrive on time and can spend focused, calm time with each pet. My availability is limited so that every visit is consistent and stress-free for the pets. In the pet owner’s home, I follow each pet’s routine carefully, ensuring feeding, litter cleaning are done according to instructions. I handle shy or independent pets gently, always letting them approach me at their own pace. I maintain a calm and safe environment, avoiding hazards and minimizing stress. I supervise pets at all times, keep doors and windows secure, and never leave them unattended in risky situations. In my own home (for dog walks or occasional cat care), I keep the space clean, safe, and quiet, providing pets with a comfortable and calm environment. I treat each pet as an individual and prioritize their safety and well-being above all.
“This was my first time using Rover (being a first time pet owner), I was incredibly nervous walking Shi though Peanut’s care plan. However, Shi was excellent with Peanut. He was very comfortable with her and I was very grateful to Shi for looking after him while we were away. I would happily recommend her service and rebook in the future.”
About: My brother's German Shepherd, Finn, I have looked after recently for six days while he had an eye infection. Finn is also a rescue with an anxiety condition and so needed medication administered. I also have experience with puppies as well. I feel therefore with my experience and calm demeanour I am a good pet-sitter. It also brings me great joy and contentment to be around pets. It is currently my only method of income, so I have a lot of availability in terms of schedule. This means that unless I have other jobs lined-up or a holiday for example, I will be completely free to care for your pet. In the pet's home I would be with the pet for as long as they needed, whether that meant constantly or only a little bit throughout the day. I also have experience of addressing health needs, and so would be very vigilant with that if needed. Overall I am always contented to be around pets, so would give them one hundred percent of my attention one hundred percent of the time.
About: I have always loved pets, I am from Brazil and I have 3 dogs there , which I took care for 5 years , when I moved to England my mom asked me if I could leave my dogs with her because she was very sad I was moving away and she said she couldn’t make without the dogs , so I left them with her and my cat which I got from the streets when he was 4 weeks old and today he is 7 years old . I live in a big house and have a nice garden and in front of my house I have a park so it’s a really nice place ! Doing this job because I miss being with pets !
“Theresa is a very competent dog carer!! As soon as I met her and saw how she interacted with me and my new puppy - Hiro, I knew that all was well. It’s quite nerve racking finding someone to care for your new young pup for the first time- but I was very reassured by Theresa’s presence and attitude around dogs. I would highly recommend her. Thanks again Theresa!!”

Rebecca was absolutely amazing! 😻 She looked after our two cats for 10 days and did such a wonderful job. We received regular updates, reports and lovely photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. The cats received cuddles and were well looked after, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We would definitely recommend Rebecca and will happily use her again! ❤️🐾 Thank you:)

We would like to thank Candy for sitting Martin and Patrick for 2 weeks. We have not left them for this length of time and she made the whole process so fabulous for us. We felt relaxed and confident as her daily contacts were so stream lined and efficient. They were so well cared for and her attention to checking the house was so reassuring. A definite 5 star and we will boom again. Thank you

We were so pleased to have found Michelle; she has been absolutely fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and clearly has a real passion for animals. She has a wonderful natural way with them, and our cat, who is normally a little reserved, took to her straight away. Michelle is warm, friendly and professional, and she went above and beyond to make sure that our cat was happy, comfortable and well cared for. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, which gave us complete peace of mind, for both our home and cat. We were so happy to receive her updates and photos and she was very responsive and a real pleasure to speak to. We returned to a very content and happy cat! We would highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and experienced to look after their pets. We couldn't have been happier with her and would definitely like to book her again.

Nikki was amazing with Jahan! I was leaving her alone for the first time since I got her and I was a bit worried but Nikki was super accommodating (including with her time and travel) and allayed all my concerns. She seemed very experienced with handling a small puppy! Would highly recommend!

Really glad to have booked Melissa for our first time using Rover. Great communication before, during and as needed after. Looked after our 2 young cats perfectly, and it lifted a huge weight from our heads as we were on holiday for the week. Watered, fed, littered and some treats across the week with daily photos. Will be booking Melissa again.
Sadiyah did a great job of looking after Gracie while we were away! She provided regular updates with photos, and kept us informed throughout the time we were away. We arrived home to a very happy cat! Would be very happy to ask Sadiyah to look after her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
