I will spend time getting to know your pets and letting them get used to me as well, and as we begin to bond I will take their lead on what they prefer - to be playful, go on walks or enjoy some relaxing time together. I'm also happy to collect mail, take out bins, water plants and any other small household tasks so you don't have to worry about chores while away.

I'm experienced taking care of cats of all ages, from young energetic kittens to sweet sleepy seniors I'm more than comfortable with them all. I grew up with dogs so am also more than happy to look after a wide range of dogs!
A typical day
I like to get to know your pets preferences and routines from yourself so that they feel more comfortable keeping their same schedule, such as their favourite toys, treats and napping spots! If they are feeling more playful I love playing with them and going on long walks - or if they're a bit lower energy a more relaxing walk or curling up on the sofa together!

Hi! I'm Kaitlyn, a freelancer working in film and TV who recently moved to Forest Gate. I grew up in Scottish farmlands surrounded by various animals but have a particular soft spot for cats, dogs, and birds! My work is very flexible so leaves me much spare time for catsitting, I have my own car so am able to travel further afield to catsit but also can quickly deal with emergency situations if ever needed. I have been catsitting with this service since 2020, and have many happy returning owners rebooking me.

I would 100 percent recommend Kaitlyn. I felt like both my cat and flat were in very safe hands. She went above and beyond to water my plants, and took great care of my flat (including washing all my sofa covers when my cat peed), leaving it immaculate. Her communication was great, and she kept me updated and reassured whilst I was away. I would definitely use her again!
