“Kate is amazing! Freddie loves walking with her and he comes back super happy, clean and fed. Kate gives me updates throughout the whole day and send me pictures and the occasional video so I’m always updated. I highly recommend her and so glad I’ve found her.”

About: I’m currently welcoming my first clients through Rover and offering calm, reliable dog care in a true home-from-home family environment, with plenty of one-to-one attention and affection. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I have hands-on experience caring for and nurturing them. My husband also grew up with dogs, and in our home they are treated as part of the family — welcome on the sofa, on the bed, and included in everyday family life. My children (8 and 10) are gentle, loving and absolutely adore having doggy guests in the house. Our own dog, Coco, is friendly, sweet-natured, and enjoys having furry friends to stay. Whether it’s daycare, walks, or overnight boarding, I make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible and provide plenty of care, exercise, play, and cuddles throughout their stay. I understand how important peace of mind is when leaving your dog with someone new, so I always provide regular updates and photos to keep you reassured. I’m happy to care for small and medium-sized dogs who are friendly with other dogs and comfortable around children. I work from home a few mornings a week, so I have plenty of time to properly look after, care for, and spend quality time with your doggy. I have a spacious fenced garden and a small doggy to keep your fur baby company. We are a family of four - myself, my hubby and 2 children aged 8 and 10, who are always gentle and wonderful with our doggy guests. We are lucky to have three beautiful parks nearby. I ensure to provide plenty of fresh air, exercise, play and especially lots of love and attention.
“It was Jaxson's first booking and although he was fretful, which is in his breed anyway, I got regular updates from Laura about him throughout the day - great care and attention - lovely sitters.”

“Katie is a great help when looking after Lara when I am in the office, 2 days per week. Lara is always super active at Katie’s and by the looks of the photos, she spends alot of time playing in the garden”

“I was very nervous to leave Tuffy with her as I never did this before. I’m so glad Tuffy came home happy and Begona took his proper care. She was in touch with her and constantly sending his videos. Hope to see her again.”

“I took Tilly to stay with Lulu for the day. She was absolutely amazing. Kept me informed all day with lots of pictures and updates, she even took Tilly for a little walk despite the miserable weather outside which I’m sure Tilly appreciated it very much. I will definitely be asking Lulu to look after Tilly again.”

“Alison was great at communicating. She was very kind and gentle with my boy who can get anxious when he is left with someone new, and he settled In well with her as a result. Alison has a lovely welcoming home and garden. I would highly recommend her to others.”

About: Calm, experienced pet sitter with a lifelong love of dogs and cats. I grew up with a family dog for 13 years, which gave me a deep understanding of daily care, routine, and the bond pets build with their people. I’ve travelled across Australia caring for cats and dogs in a variety of homes, gaining hands-on pet sitting experience with different routines, personalities, and environments. I’ve also worked with a support dog puppy breeder for 3 weeks, where I gained practical experience with training, structure, and early development. Alongside this, I’m training as a dog groomer and learning canine first aid, so safety, care, and attention to detail are always a priority. Most of all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, settled, and cared for while you’re away. I currently have full availability until mid June to end of July when I start my dog grooming course. I will have days in between off, and I will be available for evening walks and check ins. I respond quickly and honestly so you can feel assured with your plans. In a pet owner’s home, I treat the space with full respect and keep things clean, tidy, and consistent so pets feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, especially those who are shy, anxious, or need a gentler approach, and I adjust my care to suit their needs. I always follow each pet’s normal routine closely, including feeding times, walks, play, rest, and any specific instructions from the owner. I live with my parents (I’m 30, it’s 2026, it is what it is) in a semi-detached house. Your fur babies will have access to the nice large, fenced garden, warm converted garage space and open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. We are an animal-loving family.
“Jess had just arrived from Australia and was a bit out of sorts and nervous, so I was anxious too. Caroline was calm and reassuring with Jess, taking her for plenty of walks to use up some of her nervous energy and got her into a good routine. Jess quickly settled and was always happy to be left with Caroline each day whilst I was at work. Caroline was accommodating and flexible with times for drop off and pick up and kept me informed through the day. Jess will definitely miss her fun days with Caroline. Highly recommended.”
“We’ve just started working with Janice (three days so far), but I’m already really impressed. She’s been super nice and very responsive, and I love that she shares lots of pictures and updates about my pet Dolly ( Energetic Jack Russel), it makes me feel at ease. Overall, I’m really happy with the experience so far and excited to keep working with her.”

About: My experience with dogs really started with Chicho, my French Bulldog 🐾. And honestly, he was the best teacher I could've asked for. French Bulldogs aren't the easiest dogs to figure out, the breathing quirks, the heat sensitivity, the stubbornness when they've decided they don't want to move. Working through all of that gave me a much better feel for dogs in general. I started noticing when a dog is genuinely anxious versus just being a bit dramatic, how much routines matter, and how to help a dog feel calm somewhere new. Since then I've spent time with dogs of different breeds and sizes, and I think that's where you really learn. Every dog has its own thing going on. Some want to be reassured every ten minutes, some just clock where the sofa is and they're sorted. I've gotten pretty good at reading that quickly. I don't have years of professional history to list, but what I do have is real, day-to-day experience caring for dogs and genuinely caring about getting it right. Your dog will be treated like mine. 🐶❤️ I work freelance in digital marketing, so my schedule's fairly relaxed. No office to dash off to, no fixed hours, which means fitting dogs into the day is dead easy. 🐾 I'm also right on the doorstep of a park, literally. So walks aren't a whole thing, it's straight out the door and you're there. Grass, open space, plenty of other dogs to have a good sniff around. Honestly it's a decent setup, probably more ideal for the dogs than it is for me. 😄 Whether it's a walk, a full day, or an overnight stay, the approach is pretty much the same. I keep things calm, consistent, and as close to their normal routine as possible. If they're used to eating at a certain time or sleeping in a specific spot, I'll work around that. Dogs do better when things feel familiar, even in a new place. For day care and overnights at mine, they've got a comfortable home environment, nothing too precious or off limits. 🏡 Chicho taught me early on that dogs need space to just be dogs. For walks, we're straight into the park, good distance, proper time outside, not a quick loop around the block. I always keep owners updated with a few photos and a message during the day. I know how much you worry, even when you try not to. 😄🐾

Barnet dog owners share their Rover experiences
Katie was absolutely wonderful with my dog. This was my first booking through Rover and I was apprehensive about leaving my dog with a stranger. Katie reassured me from the start with her very thorough questioning about my dog. My dog was very happy when I collected her at the end of the day. Thanks Katie for taking such great care of Marula!

I took Tilly to stay with Lulu for the day. She was absolutely amazing. Kept me informed all day with lots of pictures and updates, she even took Tilly for a little walk despite the miserable weather outside which I’m sure Tilly appreciated it very much. I will definitely be asking Lulu to look after Tilly again.

Kate was amazing with our dog Elora. She went above and beyond to help us figure out how to make the day work and was very accommodating. It was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be happier to have found someone like Kate. Elora had the best time, we will definitely be rebooking with Kate from now on. Thank you again.

Max is wonderful. Our little Frankie is in safe hands with Max. We could not have picked a better dogwalker. Max is very kind, caring, helpful and trustworthy. He is very patient. He is a great dogwalker. Well done Max. You are amazing. Our grateful thanks for looking after our fur baby. xx

Marina took wonderful care of Cookie, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, she was warm, reliable, and clearly passionate about animals. She kept me updated with photos, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. Cookie came back happy, relaxed, and very well looked after. It’s obvious Marina gave her plenty of attention, care, and affection. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog sitter.

Euan (Daisy’s partner) was great with Rhea, our cocker spaniel puppy, and looked after her well, meeting her high energy needs by playing with and walking her during a daycare stay. Very happy with Daisy and Euan ‘s communication during the process including arranging to meet us a week prior. Would not hesitate to rebook.

Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my dog. I trusted Maria from the very first minutes of our conversation. It was a pleasure to communicate with her, and she stayed in touch the whole time. I’m happy that I can rely on Maria to look after my dog from time to time.
