About: Hi! I’m a 37-year-old dog lover offering a calm, caring home for your dog. I grew up with a lovely Shi-Tzu and two cats, so I’ve been around animals from a young age. I now have my own 4-year-old Sheltie, who is incredibly sweet and gentle. She is naturally shy, so I’ve learned how to handle and support nervous dogs with patience, kindness, and gentle training. Watching her grow in confidence has been very rewarding. I am currently at home full-time, which means your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. I also have a secure enclosed garden with grass for toilet breaks and fresh air between walks. My partner is also home part of the week, and we enjoy going on dog walks together. We understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I will care for your dog with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am always at home, so can take the dog out fairly easily and keep company. We then have a daily walk after work in the evening. I have a enclosed garden with grass for their natural needs, and am walking distance of parks and meadows such as Whetstone Stray and Brook Farm open space.
“Alison was great at communicating. She was very kind and gentle with my boy who can get anxious when he is left with someone new, and he settled In well with her as a result. Alison has a lovely welcoming home and garden. I would highly recommend her to others.”

“Thank you so much Doris for taking care of our Lilu for the evening. She really loved it and didn’t wanna go back 😅 Doris kept me updated with lots of texts, photos and videos. Highly recommended dog sitter ❤️ will definitely book again. Thank you!”

About: Hi! I'm Katty, a genuine dog lover and proud owner of two friendly Toy Poodles, Mario and Ramón. They’re both three years old, playful, affectionate and love the company of other dogs. I live in North London (N11), near Coppetts Centre and the North Circular, in a spacious house with a fully secure private garden. We're surrounded by several lovely parks and green spaces, making it the perfect location for fun walks and plenty of outdoor time. I work from home, so your dog will always have company, attention and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. Whether they love long walks, playing fetch, cuddles on the sofa or simply relaxing, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, happy and part of the family. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. I'll care for your dog as if they were one of my own, keeping their routine, giving them lots of affection and making sure they feel safe and loved while you're away. I only care for a small number of dogs at a time, so every dog receives plenty of individual attention. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work from home full-time, so your dog will have company throughout the day and will never be left alone for long. I'm flexible with drop-off and pick-up times and can offer daycare, overnight stays and walks throughout the week. Your dog's routine is important to me, so I'll do my best to follow their usual schedule. Your dog's safety and comfort always come first. I live in a spacious house near Coppetts Rd (N11) with a fully enclosed private garden where dogs can play safely. There are several beautiful parks nearby for daily walks. I always follow each dog's routine, including feeding, exercise and any special instructions. My two friendly Toy Poodles, Mario and Ramón, are well-socialised and enjoy the company of other dogs, but I'm happy to keep dogs separate if preferred.

“Begona and family looked after Caju on Easter Sunday and were great company for her. Begona’s communication was fantastic, and they took her on multiple walks with Rango throughout the day, for which it was so nice for her to have some doggy company. We’d definitely use them again for Caju 😃”

“Jess had just arrived from Australia and was a bit out of sorts and nervous, so I was anxious too. Caroline was calm and reassuring with Jess, taking her for plenty of walks to use up some of her nervous energy and got her into a good routine. Jess quickly settled and was always happy to be left with Caroline each day whilst I was at work. Caroline was accommodating and flexible with times for drop off and pick up and kept me informed through the day. Jess will definitely miss her fun days with Caroline. Highly recommended.”

“Marjan was wonderful - we had a pre-meet in the park before the first booking, she asked all about our dogs routine and health before caring for Benji, and all throughout the day she kept us updated with pictures and videos which was really reassuring. I was late getting back from work and Marjan was so accommodating keeping him a little later than planned. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Marjan and will definitely be booking her again :)”

“Above and beyond amazing sitters/ppl!! After a full day under their care, I picked up my dog who was in a very happy state and clearly well looked after. My dog can be demanding with play so it was a relief to know they had a dog that can meet my own’s crazy needs for playing all day. They were also very flexible with my timing for drop off and pickup that I had to keep changing last minute due to my plans being changed as well. Thank you Pratik and Shreshtha for being great ppl and even helping me get a pet friendly cab with my phone struggles during pickup. Looking forward to booking you both again and just being connected in general :))”

“We’ve just started working with Janice (three days so far), but I’m already really impressed. She’s been super nice and very responsive, and I love that she shares lots of pictures and updates about my pet Dolly ( Energetic Jack Russel), it makes me feel at ease. Overall, I’m really happy with the experience so far and excited to keep working with her.”

“Coby had a wonderful time, wiyh cuddles and a good long runaround. The sure sign was that he slept for a good few hours on his return. Thanks Mhany he's looking forward to seeing you again soon.”

About: Thanks for visiting my profile. I’ve always loved being around dogs and having them as part of my day, and over the years I’ve spent a lot of time looking after my own dog as well as many of my friends’ dogs. Because of that, I’m very comfortable caring for different personalities, routines, and needs, whether a dog is energetic and playful or more calm and relaxed. I’m currently at home full-time, which makes me perfectly placed to care for dogs throughout the day. Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Barnet
Marjan looked at Benji at really short notice after our work plans changed, and he had the best day. We really appreciate the regular photos and updates she sends us, it makes us feel assured that he is in good hands. What was extra special to see was how Benji greeted Marjan and her dog that morning, he was really excited to see them again and I could tell how much care she takes of him 😊

Ana is a patient Dogsitter - both with my puppy who was anxious in her home for the first time, and with me when my trains were cancelled. Her space and garden are puppy friendly. Ana gave a detailed description of her experience with Magda at the end of the evening.

Zuma appears to have had a really good day with Nazim and his partner. I felt very comfortable leaving him with them -- they were attentive to detail, and asked me to bring his toy and blanket (to nap on) and took him for multiple walks. Zuma settled well, and I think he'll be really glad to go back there again! Thank you!

Katie was absolutely wonderful with my dog. This was my first booking through Rover and I was apprehensive about leaving my dog with a stranger. Katie reassured me from the start with her very thorough questioning about my dog. My dog was very happy when I collected her at the end of the day. Thanks Katie for taking such great care of Marula!

I took Tilly to stay with Lulu for the day. She was absolutely amazing. Kept me informed all day with lots of pictures and updates, she even took Tilly for a little walk despite the miserable weather outside which I’m sure Tilly appreciated it very much. I will definitely be asking Lulu to look after Tilly again.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
