Retired and trustworthy gent!
Hi all! Hailing from the North-East (County Durham), I've owned dogs and cats (and been responsible for my childrens' many other pets including ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, fish and crabs!) for most of my life and loved them all. I've just bought a flat in North London so I'm looking predominantly for that area but will literally consider anywhere in the country for longer sits!

Steve regularly looks after my Labrador, Barney, who adores him. He takes him on long walks involving fetching balls and swimming, so Barney comes home tired and happy. I have known Steve for many years and can verify that he is fond of all dogs, although he currently has no dog of his own. Steve is reliable, punctual and can confirm that the safety of any dogs in his care is of paramount importance to him. Highly recommended! 🐾

Schedule
I don't currently work so I can fit in or around your schedules. Happy to start or finish at odd times of the day or night for you (early/late flights or travel arrangements). Even happy to drop you off at airports, train stations etc!

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a 7th floor flat so appreciate that that won't be ideal for some pet owners wanting boarding services but I can promise that your special friends will get every bit of walking and outside air that they might wish for! There are lots of nearby parks in my area including the quite lovely Alexandra Palace Park and, if your pet (and you) are happy with car drives, we can go even further... (-: For house-sitting, I'm happy to consider anywhere (obviouslyfor a longer stay if it's a long journey there). Perfectly happy to fit in with your pet's routine of course and happy to take care of any household chores (bins out, garden watering, vacuuming for when you return etc), I'm also a dab hand at DIY so will take care of any odd-jobs you may want doing for a small fee...

A typical day
I walk several times every day for my own health so can take your dogs on as many or as few as you (and they!) wish and for as long as they like. If your pets are nervous at your or my home I'll be on hand to offer company, a pat or a big fuss - whatever's needed
