About: Since losing my dog a couple of years a go at the grand old age of 15, I’ve been looking after pets for friends and family since. I live right next door to a lovely park, plenty of fields and trails. Happy to put the mileage in if your pet requires it. I’m patient and dogs seem to love me. Happy to help with training also. I work from home at present and I can pick and choose my hours. I can adjust my routine to suit your pet if needed, no problem at all. If your pet is unsociable I can walk early and late if necessary. I have a large flat with a safe and secure balcony. I am 30 seconds away from a park, 5mins away from fields and there are a number of trails and woodland walks close by. If required to sit in at your place, I am clean, quiet and respectable. Happy to be adaptable to your pets needs. Whatever it takes to make the feel safe and secure.

About: My experience with dogs really started with Chicho, my French Bulldog 🐾. And honestly, he was the best teacher I could've asked for. French Bulldogs aren't the easiest dogs to figure out, the breathing quirks, the heat sensitivity, the stubbornness when they've decided they don't want to move. Working through all of that gave me a much better feel for dogs in general. I started noticing when a dog is genuinely anxious versus just being a bit dramatic, how much routines matter, and how to help a dog feel calm somewhere new. Since then I've spent time with dogs of different breeds and sizes, and I think that's where you really learn. Every dog has its own thing going on. Some want to be reassured every ten minutes, some just clock where the sofa is and they're sorted. I've gotten pretty good at reading that quickly. I don't have years of professional history to list, but what I do have is real, day-to-day experience caring for dogs and genuinely caring about getting it right. Your dog will be treated like mine. 🐶❤️ I work freelance in digital marketing, so my schedule's fairly relaxed. No office to dash off to, no fixed hours, which means fitting dogs into the day is dead easy. 🐾 I'm also right on the doorstep of a park, literally. So walks aren't a whole thing, it's straight out the door and you're there. Grass, open space, plenty of other dogs to have a good sniff around. Honestly it's a decent setup, probably more ideal for the dogs than it is for me. 😄 Whether it's a walk, a full day, or an overnight stay, the approach is pretty much the same. I keep things calm, consistent, and as close to their normal routine as possible. If they're used to eating at a certain time or sleeping in a specific spot, I'll work around that. Dogs do better when things feel familiar, even in a new place. For day care and overnights at mine, they've got a comfortable home environment, nothing too precious or off limits. 🏡 Chicho taught me early on that dogs need space to just be dogs. For walks, we're straight into the park, good distance, proper time outside, not a quick loop around the block. I always keep owners updated with a few photos and a message during the day. I know how much you worry, even when you try not to. 😄🐾

About: Hey! My name is Sena, I’m a lawyer working part time in the city, now based in Radlett where I get to enjoy the outdoors and spend more time around lots of animals. I grew up in a home with several pets, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Over the years I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, as well as cats and other small animals. I’m confident, patient, and attentive, and I treat every pet as if they were my own! :) At home I have a 14year old ginger tabby cat called Simba, who has been with me since he was a kitten and a 4 year German Shepherd cross Akita named Ralph :) Ralph has helped me build strong experience in handling larger, energetic dogs, I work Tuesday- Thursdays in the city. My partner and I alternate our work from home days so Ralph and Simba are never left alone Your dog will be looked after in a calm, loving home with plenty of attention throughout the day. I have a fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time, plus regular walks in the local open fields here in Radlett for exercise and fresh air. There’s lots of playtime, interaction, and company depending on your dog’s personality and energy levels — whether they’re active or prefer a quieter pace. I’m happy to follow all dietary requirements closely and stick to your dog’s normal routine. Brushing and basic grooming can also be included if needed. To keep things stress-free, your dog will be kept separate from my own dog, Ralph, so they can fully relax and feel at home in a calm environment.

About: I have been taken care of family, friends and neighbors pets for about 6 years. I have take them on walks, bathe them and fed them according to their routine. Always let them felt at home while staying with me :) I work full time but hybrid work. I am completely free on weekends and holidays however always happy to make space and discuss a time to look after your pets. My home is a two story house with a fenced garden that is medium size I have a couple of parks that are walking distance from the house. I do understand that the dogs could get nervous so I take time to make them feel safe and happy. If owner wants I am happy to give updates/pictures on your pet.

About: Skills and Experience I have owned my own dog , a Labrador Retriever ,since I was 12 years old .I was involved in her care and training ,taking her to dog training classes which were a great success ! I have also raised and trained my Maltese puppy ,also working on a one to one with a dog trainer. Updated Skills I have recently attended a training course on zoom ,during lockdown ,run by a professional dog trainer/behaviourist . This helped to update and extend my knowledge and skills in dog care and training . In addition I will attend a dog training class with my own dog in the Spring ( with the same trainer) .; with the view of attending the Kennel Club ,Good Citizen Award training ,in the summer . I also plan to attend courses, including, dog first aid and difficult behaviour , run by the Institute of Modern Dog Training . I am an avid fan of Master Dog Trainer Grahame Hall and watch and learn from his programmes . Dog Sitting /Boarding Over the years I have looked after friends dogs ,whilst they were working or on holiday,and come highly recommended .(References available) .
